Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya (Northgate)

The food here is delicious! I always love their potato croquettes and vegetable gyoza, but not a fan of their veggie ramen. My only issue is that I wish there were more veggie options for main dishes since there’s only one veggie ramen. However, I’m always surprised at how many vegetarian options they have for their Izakaya section. Always had great service here, very friendly staff that check in well 💛

Absolutely amazing experience!!! Food tastes amazing, servers are kind, they offer free clear unsalted broth if you want to balance the flavor of your broth, and a free lemonade or flavored tea for leaving a review! Prices also are not too expensive! Only thing is I wish they checked in on me once or twice more than they did. This is because I can be quiet shy and I did have to get a waiters attention because they were already busy with other work. Also, to be fair they did have almost a full house! All in all I would still rate them an absolute 9/10! I got the garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen with spinach, roasted seaweed, fishcake, and pork belly added to the already topped ramen! This is coming from someone who sometimes can have sort of high standards. :)

Very good place. I don’t have ramen frequently enough but I found the dishes here very tasty. The soup was flavorful and I feel I got a pretty good portion for the price. The menu had several appetizing options and I look forward to trying more. The sides we picked up were quite good too. The service was nice and quick. I wasn’t very busy and we were able to get a table right away. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available. It made a good first impression and I look forward to going back.

We love this place! Garlic tonkatsu ramen is my favorite dish here. Servings of ramen are great and we don't usually need additional food. There is a kid a menu on a coloring page, booster seats, high chairs, and plastic utensils for kids. I would say they're child friendly! Not sure if they have a changing table, as we didn't need to use it.

The food was absolutely on point!! Does NOT disappoint!! So much flavor, options and absolutely delicious!!! From the food the beverages to the service you'll keep coming back for more! Soo happy we made the 35 mile journey to try this gorgeous Ramen house!!

We had an enjoyable experience! I had the most popular dish which was a rich and salty broth. My wife enjoyed the dipping Ramen, which had a more pungent broth. Their noodles were good, but didn’t stand out as much as we had hoped. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

Great little spot that really brings great food and great service. A bit on the pricey side compared to other ramen joints offering a similar selection of foods and also with likeness of what can be expected in Japan. The portions were smaller compared to some, but fulfilling. I ordered the Garlic Tonkatsu with pork belly add on. Great brother and noodles were just as good. The noodles had that feeling they were handmade or of high quality. Flavor is packed and I added some spicy flakes for that nice kick. Wifey had the veggie ramen and enjoyed it too. Didn't get to try the Takoyaki...but I'd guess it would be good. For the price they charge for it...it better. Didn't feel like splurging for those this visit...but next time for sure. All in all...its nice. Next time I'd like to sit on the covered patio to enjoy my meal with fresh air...

The prices of almost all items are cheap, and the food and atmosphere are excellent for the price. One server provided a bright smile and a pleasant service. Above all, the ramen with very mild and clear soup and chicken karaage dishes came out really very quickly. Thank you. Kiana

The service was prompt. Location is clean and cute. We got seated right away, despite a busy Saturday. Many ramen selections to choose from. Easy to customize with numerous add-on options. We ordered assorted tempura and gesso karaage for appetizers. Followed by Garlic Tonkatsu Ramen and the Spicy Chicken Tan Tan Ramen. Food came out in less than 10 minutes! Wonderful portions, amazing taste and excellent service. Will be returning again! :)

Great cozy ramen spot! Came with a friend for dinner before a movie! Located in the plaza right next to the theater. Lots of seating, friendly and quick service! I got the spicy miso ramen and the broth was very flavorful and rich. Garlic heavy and not as spicy but still tasty! The egg was soo good! I've been to their Cap Hill location as well! Both are great!

We were at Northgate Station and huuuuuungry! This looked like a decent place to eat, not far from the station. We got there, and wanted to sit outside, but they were short staffed at the moment, and we had to sit inside. No prob. There were plenty of cozy places to sit inside. Service was a bit slow (did I mention they were short staffed?), but we finally got our order in. We ordered the veggie spring rolls as an appetizer to tide us over, but they ended up coming out with the food. Dang! I ordered the Chicken Shoyu, and my girlfriend the Vegetable Ramen. The Shoyu was rich and had a good flavor. And quite filling. My girlfriend enjoyed hers, although the additional vegan pork belly she had ordered with it she really didn't like (I, however, loved it!). One complaint regarding the noodles: they were cooked well, but there was some clumping that shouldn't have happened. Really. Would I recommend? Sure. It's decent ramen. Not up to the level of the ramen you'd find in the Meguro District, but decent for the US. I'll definitely be back.

The ramen was ok. I wish they had more options included for the vegetarian one. I didn't finish it all because it was just ok. The vegan pork was interesting though. The service was good initially but then it became harder to flag someone down for the check or a drink refill, so overall it was just ok. The ambiance was like a busy little shop with lots of different booths. Very lively atmosphere, so maybe not the spot for a quiet conversation.

Very flavorful meal and came out super super quick. It's in a good location, you can walk from Northgate station. The prices seemed a bit high for Northgate, but the food seemed high quality.

This place has an eight out of 10 Ramen and the flavor is amazing... Just checked into a hotel and wasn't sure if there was anything good nearby since it's outside of the main city of Seattle, but I'm glad we went in and tried this place. The deep fried squid is crispy and flavorful and the karaage is simply moist and juicy. I highly recommend coming here if you're in a late night trip as it's worth it. The service is good in the of the place is great. There's parking around the area.

Visiting Seattle once again and I found this gem while scootering around, about less than 10 minutes from my hotel which was perfect. I dined around lunchtime by myself and it was a nice/chill experience. I went for something light and decided to order their Gyoza (pork) & let me tell you, 10/10! Wish I had more pieces to devour and the sauce on the side is perfection to pair it with. I finished off with their Lemon Garlic Wings & boy were they zesty, I would say a tad bit too much of the lemon flavor but overall still tasty. The wings had a great crispy texture and was layered with a good amount of garlic as well. I washed down the meal with their Yuzu Mango Green tea, very light and refreshing which was perfectly paired with my meal. Overall, I had a pleasant experience & the flavor was definitely there throughout each item I ordered. My service was good and the vibes were exactly what I needed for a good solo date.

Went here with a friend while visiting Seattle, and it was exactly what we needed on a rainy day. The broth was rich and full of flavor, and the noodles had the perfect texture - chewy and satisfying without being too heavy. Seattle's weather made it the perfect excuse to warm up with a big bowl of ramen, and this spot hit the spot!

My fourth time here, always speedy service and really flavorful broths! Definitely my preferred location especially with the cozy seating.

Solid ramen spot in Northgate. Have eaten here twice now, receiving quick service and tasty ramen both times. I recommend checking it out, especially as a dinner option before seeing a movie at Regal Thornton.

Amazing ramen with great vegan and vegetarian options. We got the Vegetarian Ramen with vegan pork belly and the All star ramen. They were both delicious. The tropical mango ice tea was also good and tasted refreshing

My first taste of the regular Spicy Ramen reminded me what I ordered. It was spicy but very tasty. The small piece of pork it came with, was very tender but not very generous. The Tonkatsu Shoyu ramen was much more generous by I enjoyed the pork broth a litte bit more. The staff was friendly Land helpful. The restaurant was also very nice and clean. The ramen place at U-Village is better but this was closer to the hospital I was at so worth a try. There wasn't a lot of parking either but I enjoyed Kizuki..

Kizuki impresses for a chain Asian restaurant. I know I might get some flack for this, but Kizuki delivers on quality, service, and price in a way Din Tai Fung, Dough Zone, and Hokkaido Ramen Santouka just don't. Don't mistake me. These places are good...but over hyped. Kizuki impressed me the first time I ordered their classic tonkatsu shoyu ramen for delivery. The bag they used was surprisingly nice (and reusable). Not that I cared what kind of bag it came in, but damn, that attention to detail left an impression. The quality of the ramen was even more surprising. For delivery, I don't expect much. But the pork chasiu was so soft and tender and not overly salty. The broth was savory and not too oily. I heated everything up and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. So good, that I could imagine just how much better it would be dining in. "If it's this good delivered..." I can't say that for a lot of places when it's delivered. A company that takes its time to ensure their delivered food is almost as good as dining in already tells me they take their food seriously. Fast forward 2 years, and I'm still convinced Kizuki is doing something very right. They cracked the code on delivering excellent ramen for a chain, both in-house and to-go. My latest visit didn't disappoint. Service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious, and price was right. I would easily recommend Kizuki for any ramen lover. Good ramen is good ramen, even if it's a chain.

I love this place and go there often. However, today we had carry-out and the meat was cold in the center almost like they forgot to warm it up. The broth was cold as well, which I guess could be expected, but it was only a 10 minute drive home. I will go back often. However, I advise making sure they heat everything well if you're doing.

Ordered the Karaage Don ($15) and Gyudon ($14). Tasty and decent portions. (Lot of rice) Parking garage available so parking as easy at 2:30 pm. Food came out quickly and service was good. L

This is my favorite Kizuki location of all in Washington state. We had the best items on the menu which are Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, extra pork belly with chicken wings for appetizer. It's so good we forgot to take picture of the food but you can tell how good it is by the empty bowls hehe

Definitely one of the better Ramen restaurant chains in the area. I have tried the Bellevue one before but this one in Redmond is no less. Still amazing tasting Ramen, great service but I feel this Redmond one has an even nicer ambience. Like always my favourite is Spicy Tan Tan Ramen. Another great and signature ramen they have is Garlic Tonkotsu.

My frisbee team came to Kizuki at a late hour and the staff was accommodating and very nice! We were a very large party and we needed tons of chairs and tables and they were open to letting us move furniture around. The food came out very quickly and it was really tasty. I got the Shio Ramen - loved how many toppings it came with, also loved the broth. It wasn't too rich but it was very flavorful! Would definitely come back to either this location or the Cap Hill location to try other things. I also really enjoyed the milk tea.

Love this place. Best Ramen ever, with so many options for broth and add ons. I stop here anytime I go to Seattle.

Friendly staff and cozy ambiance. The food visual is amazing, and the taste overall is good for a standard ramen. However, our expectations fell a bit short for the Tonkatsu. It lacked crispiness.

The interior was great, the music fantastic, food phenomenal, I haven't gotten my food yet but I can tell it's going to taste authentic 10/10 would come again.

One of my all time favorite spots in the Northgate area! I would always order Kizuki ramen to go and finally we decided to go in. When you first walk in, you are greeted immediately! It wasn't too busy on a Friday night and we were seated immediately. I usually get the spicy ramen however I decided to try the garlic original ramen and it was amazing. I added extra pork belly and instead of bamboo shoots I opted in for greens! Delicious! We also had the gyoza and the chicken wings! The gyoza we were contemplating ordering a second order they are so good! They come in pork but also veggie. For the chicken wings they are garlic lemon. Very heavy on the lemon but has a sweet flavor at the end. I cannot rave about this place enough. It's truly my favorite ramen spot.

Came here for some late night Ramen while in the area. This is a good look as lots of places are closed by this point. I also take it as a sign of possible quality. You know, since it's off-peak hours, the staff might be in "almost time to go home " mode. I went with the Spicy chicken tan tan men ramen. A favorite at my usual ramen spot, this one doesn't compare. I was expecting more of a thicker consistency in the broth and the chicken to be heartier. Presentation was ok and it came out fairly fast while being hot. Also got some chicken/karaage. It was pretty good. Hot, crispy with a nice sauce that I often like as an appetizer with ramen. The setting and service decent here, so it was an alright experience, just average, particularly in the food and having had more satisfying Ramen at other places.

Very good ramen! Super rich flavor and the waiter was very nice and helpful with answering our questions regarding the menu. I ordered the garlic tonkasu ramen. It was cooked perfectly! I like that you have the option to add clear broth if needed, because it is quite rich. They let me customize my protein also since I dont eat pork and you even get the option to do fried or non fried tofu. We ate outside and it was lovely to see cute birds and people watch. I highly recommend this place for very authentic and delicious ramen!

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya is a reliable chain with restaurants throughout Washington (plus some in Texas and Portland). In my experience, most Kizuki have the same menu and the dishes will be reliably the same and good no matter which branch you go to. The ramen: In my opinion as someone who grew up in Japan, the ramen is more "American style" than authentic Japanese, with bold flavors and a menu that's easy to navigate even if you're totally new to Japanese food. However, it's still very good. The noodles have the right amount of chew, the broth is delicious, and they don't skimp on toppings. My favorites are the garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramen (when I want to go for a flavor bomb) and the shio ramen (when I want something light). I've also enjoyed the miso and yuzu shio ramen. My friend who has dietary restrictions is able to substitute the normal noodles with yam noodles, which we appreciate. I also enjoy their fried dishes, especially the geso karaage (fried squid). It's fun that they occasionally add new seasonal dishes. (Shoutout to the graphic designer who designed their menu with a spot to swap out a perfectly-matching sticker decal in the seasonal item section!) Note: This location is always crowded during the lunch and dinner hours. If you're in a group of 1-2 people, you probably won't need to wait long. But if you're in a bigger group, you might want to come early or call ahead to see if you can make a reservation. They also package their take-out really well and include a cute reusable bag and reheating instructions with it!

Kizuki Ramen is a great little spot that has consistently good quality, and the employees are all really nice. We have tried most of the ramen items here, and they are all very good. My personal favorite is the Garlic Tonkotsu. In addition to traditional ramen, they also have Tsikemen (dipping ramen), which has a wider noodle and a thicker broth meant for dipping. If you haven't had the opportunity, I recommend giving this a try as well. Overall, I highly recommend you give them a try!

The ramen and service were pretty good. Seems to be one of the better food options in the Thornton place complex if you're looking to eat before a movie.

Before heading out to the movies, my friend and I stopped by @kizukiramen for dinner, where we found out there was a collaboration event going on at the restaraunt with Attack on Titan! They are currently serving 5 combo dishes inspired by the anime, along with exclusive merch you can purchase on the side! ‼Event ends on December 12/13th, so you have one more week to check it out!‼Visit their website to see if the location near you is doing the event! I've always loved the ramen here, as it is a nice, quick fix for the colder seasons that just hits the spot. Their broth is rich and there are a variety of bowls, rice dishes and appetizers to choose from! Although the meats can vary on tenderness, the other toppings are always cooked to perfection The staff were very friendly and the interior felt comforting and clean. I even asked one of the servers if any of the cutouts were being given away or sold and they were cool about it

Stopped in on this quaint and chicly decorated place on a cold and rainy night for a ramen bowl. We started with the octopus appetizer with had a very flavorful sauce with what seemed liked dried kale on top. An order comes with 6 pieces and the two of us left none. Then, I ordered the spicy tan tan chicken heat level 3 of 5. The dish was well prepared and very flavorful. The garlic flavor was perfect although I had really hoped for a poached egg, but no joy on that hope. Being from Louisiana, I think spice level 4 is a good starting level and 5 didn't seem to be insanely hot which would be expected in Seattle? Service was fast and efficient and the price was good at $12-16 per bowl. Nothing outstanding to really report, but was a solid choice for hot soup on a cold and rainy night. Spicy Chicken Tan Tan

I've been to many ramen places in the Seattle area and always end up coming back here! I've been going here since high school and I graduated college lol. Kizuki has so many options compared to other places, and also less sodium options. The izakaya side menu also has many tasty options like the pork buns and potato croquette. I haven't tried the rice dishes like the curry but they also look tasty! The service is also always friendly.

Really excellent ramen! They serve up fresh, hot and delicious meals. My favorite is the Garlic Tonkotsu as well as the Chicken Karaage. The delivery bags are adorable and make great gift bags!

Good service. Fast efficient. Seems like fresh ramen noodles very tasty. Ramen egg just right. We also got karaage which was well done. Good hours also. Very tasty

First time here. Ok space with some parking close by. I ordered the Garlic Tonkatsu. Asked if i wanted low sodium i said no, as i love asian flavors and am not watching salt intake. But i wished i had, as it was so salty i couldn't finish it, and drank water all afternoon. The server was great, very helpful, and said next time i could have free unsalted broth to add. That is weird to me. Why not just make it less salty? Is that the main flavoring? Husband had Octopus Dumplings, flavor was good but it was chewy, not tender.
