Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya｜Northgate | Enjoy handcrafted ramen and izakaya-inspired dishes

The food was delicious! We came here on a Wednesday evening, and there was decent crowd but we got a table right away. We had the Spicy Chicken Tan Tan, Vegetable Ramen, and Vegetable Gyoza. Everything tasted well. There were not a lot of vegetarian options. The food was brought out fast and hot, and we were checked on pretty frequently which was good. The ambiance is decent. I lived their doll pots decoration, and the chefs are visible working behind the counter. The location is pretty good with parking and it a had decent amount of tables.

This is truly the best ramen I've ever had. The food is so good, the staff is so friendly and so quick to turn over tables so even a long line is still a quick wait time. The restaurant looks very cool but the tables are a little too close for my comfort, but that's barely a complaint.

I ordered the Hakata Ramen, a traditional tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen, and it had the richness and depth of flavor you’d expect from a bowl in Japan. The noodles were thin and firm, exactly how ramen should be. On top of that, I loved that I could customize my noodle firmness, which is crucial for avoiding soggy noodles—a big deal for any ramen enthusiast like me. Flavor: 5/5 The broth was rich and packed with umami, creating a perfect balance with the tender chashu and fresh toppings. I also ordered a side of tonkatsu (Japanese fried pork chops), and it was phenomenal. The breading was light and puffy, and the pork itself was juicy—exactly like what you’d find in Japan. Cost: 4.5/5 The prices are fair for the quality you’re getting. While it’s not cheap, you’re paying for an authentic experience that’s well worth it. Service: 5/5 The servers were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. They were quick to refill drinks and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Final Thoughts: Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya has quickly become one of my favorite ramen spots. The ability to customize my noodles to perfection and the exceptional authenticity of both the ramen and sides make this a place I’ll be returning to. Highly recommended for ramen lovers looking for a genuine experience!

Kizuki’s a great place for a good standard ramen, with each bowl having rich flavors. As far as Kizuki’s go, the seating is nice and spacious, and the atmosphere is lively much like most Kizuki’s. Overall, a good standard ramen place and my personal goto.

Easy parking, clean, friendly staff, the soup is good, the pork belly is kind of hard and chewy, it has room to improve, the chicken karage is good: tender and good portion, the noodles are the thicker type, I don’t usually like it, but it’s good here, the favor of the broth is rich (I ordered the tongaju black garlic favor)

This place is one of our favorite Ramen places in Seattle. They’re busy on the weekends but once you get seated you’re in a clean restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Food comes fast and we love the options! Thanks for the lemonade 😄

I was hopeful about this place, especially after seeing so many positive reviews on Google. The highlight of our visit was definitely the service. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cheerful. I regret not remembering her name, but she was a tall, slender woman who made our experience pleasant. However, the food fell short of expectations. We ordered the chicken karaage, dipping ramen with chicken, and the yuzu ramen. The karaage lacked crispiness, possibly due to insufficient frying or the oil not being hot enough. The chicken in my Tsukemen (dipping ramen) appeared boiled and wasn’t visually appealing. Traditionally, Tsukemen is served with a rich, thick broth, but theirs came with a regular, thin soup. The yuzu ramen was overly sour, likely from too much yuzu. Overall, this place might be a good introduction for someone who’s never had ramen before. However, if you’ve been to Japan multiple times and are craving an authentic bowl of ramen, you might leave feeling disappointed. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️

We don’t even like ramen but needed a quick dinner after watching a movie. I ordered a Yuzu ramen and hubby ordered Shiyo Ramen with Pork and beansprout, and deep fried tofu to start. Much to our surprise we loved both of our ramen bowls. Both flavors tasted delicious with clean, tasty broth, crunchy greens, an amazingly flavorful soft-boiled egg, and noodles cooked exactly right. The agedashi tofu was excellent as well as my wintermelon drink. We’ll definitely go back. The service was excellent and our food came out quickly. The interior is spacious with vaulted ceilings and the wall of masks is pretty cool. 3h free parking underground is a bonus!
