KJ's Koffee

I love KJ’s I come here all the time. I got a 12oz gold lotus energy drink with 2 syrup flavors and the total was about $6.39 before tip. They staff are all kind and helpful, I will say though that the wait is long. The drive thru can be about 12-15 minutes at any given time which is probably a testament to how loved they are!

I ordered my usual double iced espresso with flavor and oat milk to the top and was charged for a latte. On top of that, I was given attitude by the barista and then the owner. THE SNARKY OWNER TOLD ME NOT TO COME BACK after gaslighting me that my order was a latte not an iced espresso +flavor + oat mill. This is my go to drink everywhere I go and it’s never been an issue or charged double. My order usually ranges $6 and I was charged $9 because I asked for a bit more milk over a visible 1” of ice (as my cup full of ice) and I usually get it packed with ice and milk to the top. I was charged an ounce of milk at $3 🤣. I most certainly will not be coming back after a year of coming here and now that I’ve met the owner.

Legitimately good coffee. I'm a teacher and one of my parents brought me a latte and blueberry muffin one morning and the muffin was one of best blueberry muffins I've ever had. I went back recently on my own and got a mocha and breakfast sandwich. The mocha was perfect, not too sweet, and the breakfast sandwich was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much since it's premade and heated in the microwave but after my first bite, I was completely shocked. The bun was still nice and crisp on the outside, not soggy, the egg was fluffy, and the Canadian bacon was so flavorful. Everything here is a 10/10.

Love this place, the staff and the bright spot it is in the neighborhood so full 5 stars BUT the owners should know charging for milk alternatives is discriminatory and becoming illegal. Not only that but not putting prices on your seasonal beverages then hit us with a $15 charge at check out when we venture to try one is straight up rude.

I have been many times and the person who prepares the drinks on most days at this stand is consistently unfriendly. My most recent visit was particularly unpleasant hence the review. The hostile vibe is outside of what one normally encounters at coffee shops and stands around Seattle so it may be worth visiting once just for the novelty. I would otherwise recommend choosing from the myriad options around. I won't be going back.

I have been coming to this stand for the past year about biweekly mostly because of the atmosphere and how sweet the girls are that work there and they always make great friendly conversation. Today I had the worst experience with the girls working at 11am on 5/24/25. This is not the normal customer service that was the normal baristas. Very rude right when I pulled up, did not want to make conversation or suggestion for a drink, I almost drove off and went somewhere else and I should have. Very sad to see the new employees turning this cute coffee place into a toxic culture. I see some other people reviewing saying the same and I’m sure the good reviews are when they run into the original baristas at least I hope they are still around.

I come to this coffee place all the time and who ever is working today is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are not the normal baristas I see and boy do they have attitude. My vanilla latte with oat milk doesn’t taste right like the espresso beans were burnt or it’s the wrong milk I can’t figure it out. I went home which is up the street and decided to come back. They gave me grief about not exchanging it right away and that they would have to charge me for the second drink. I am not a difficult customer and my whole extended family comes to this stand and we never have any issues but today was almost bad enough to never come back! I am so disappointed in the whole interaction and feel gross drinking the coffee after that encounter honestly!

Used to go to KJs regularly for over a year but for the last six months I end up kicking myself every time I go. If you get the wrong barista, prepare to be shocked by their lack of professionalism and customer service basics. My drink was made wrong and when I mentioned that it didn’t look how it normally looks (I get the same thing there every time and this time they completely left the espresso shots out of it so I paid $6 for some ice, milk, and sweetener) she stared at me blankly and just said “well I asked you.” I don’t even know what that means but I was so taken aback at the total disregard of politeness and care that I just took my sweet milk and left. Also don’t use their drive through lane if there’s more than 2 cars in it. You’ll be waiting at least 15 minutes. It’s amazing I honestly don’t know how they manage to take so long. Also if you order the exact same drink multiple times, the cost of it will vary every time up to like multiple dollars difference. Depending on your barista and how they ring you up, you might be charged $7 for a drink that was $5.50 yesterday. And don’t you dare try to bring that up to them cuz they won’t change it or try to help you.

So so good! The girls here are so friendly and super quick! One of the best iced vanilla lattes I've had in a while. This shop is a bit out of the way from my apartment, but I would definitely make the drive again! One of the few coffee shops in Seattle with a drive-thru, so that was a huge plus for me!

Very nice staff and did a great job hearing me on a note I gave . Their coffee is delicious! Also a great location . My child loves walking with me their , since their so kid friendly ..

They have a drive up window that can fit three cars in line and a walk up window. They were busy on a late Friday morning. I ordered the matcha latte with oatmilk, my boyfriend had the caramel latte. Both of our beverages were great. Mine had just enough sweetness, I love the earthy flavor of matcha. My boyfriend's caramel was well mixed into his coffee. We actually came back again another morning for more! I love that they also give you a complimentary chocolate coffee bean. What a sweet treat.

What a fantastic experience at this drive-thru coffee shop! They have a very big, unique menu and if you love having new experiences, you'll never run out of them at this place. I like that they also have a few seats and some parking spaces out in front, should you choose to enjoy your coffee there. And then my drink came with a little chocolate coated expresso bean!? Now I want to move to Pinehurst just so that I can swing by every day!

My go to coffee spot! I go to Kjs probably a little too much. Great for walk up service and drive thru. All the baristas are incredibly kind. Whenever I walk my pup they will give him a treat. All of their seasonal drinks are delicious. I almost never get the same thing there just because I want to try everything!!!

New to living in Seattle, so I Went looking for a coffee stand with lotus drinks and they did not disappoint! Pricing was great as well for a 24oz drink & breakfast sandwich. Baristas working were very nice - i will be coming back!

Really good matcha's. I like this place a lot but I asked for a pup cup and they charged me over 4$ for it- the same price as a latte is kinda crazy.

Amazing little coffee heaven. We stopped here on our way to do some shopping. Great coffee, lots of options and really tasty coffee. Fun walk up window that makes for an amazing ambiance and great service. Outdoor seating available or drive through option. Can highly recommend it!!

Dark chocolate mocha is one of my favorite Service was pretty quick and decent. It's easy drive through. I didn't go inside the cafe, so I don't know their ambiance, but must be cozy!

The location of this place is nice, it's on the way to most places I visit. But a few of the girls that work here need a serious attitude check. Ive worked in coffee stands so I understand it can get stressful, but don't ask me questions and then walk away from the window. I had to repeat my answers multiple times to ALL of her questions. I don't think I've had anyone here ask me anything expect for what I want to drink. I have not tipped here on many occasions cause the service I receive is not good whatsoever

I love the convenience of this shop, with a walk up and a drive through. Also, the flavors they have are great. I got the spring fling lotus and it was so yummy with the Lychee flavor. Definitely a fast and easy place to get coffee, will definitely be returning.

Best coffee I ever had in months! I said months, mainly because I only drink Matcha, because it was not available. I had to get regular latte. It was lovely to know that it will be back in stock soon. Service was 10/10. I will definitely recommend to others. Most importantly the people are so lovely! It was worth the wait.

Love this little coffee hut even though I've only been here a few times but they have great options for anyone. From coffee to energy mixed drinks to energize your morning or a boost of energy to finish off a stressful day at work and everything in between. Super friendly and nice definitely worth the support and money to keep this place booming. Will be back any chance I can!

What a fantastic, little coffee shop! I randomly stopped here in between work meetings and I'm so glad I did. First, the two people working there were so nice; I told them it was my first time in Seattle and they were so nice to chat with me and give me recommendations of things to do in the area. I tried one of their speciality lattes - and it was delicious. I would highly recommend stopping at KJ's Koffee if you are in the area.

So. many. choices! Finally trying this cute gem after attempting many times before....they have select hours people! Friendly faces, a walk up or drive thru option, and yummy treats. Tried their mocha special...forgot the name, but had with soy and half the sweetener. It was perfect in taste (no bitter espresso), smooth and just the hint of sweetness I needed. Truly perfection in a cute cup. Loved they added chocolate covered espresso beans on my coffee cup lid which melted the bottom of the bean. Gooey smooth rich chocolate goodness. The croissant breakfast sandwich was good and filling. The croissant isn't crispy and flaky, but still very good. Loved the egg and thin sliced ham too.

Very friendly staff. Caffé D'arte coffee is served there and it's very tasty :) They have a drive thru and a walk-up window. My only complaint is they charge .80 cents for plant-based milk alternatives which is usually a splash on a coffee or cold brew. I can see an up charge being reasonable for milk-based bevs like a latte or cappuccino but this is probably why I don't go to many of these coffee shops regularly. It sounds nitpicky, but when you slap on tax, tip and adding sugar charge to coffee, it makes the price jump significantly to be a regular visit and if you want to keep on a decent coffee budget. All in all, I'll still be a frequent visitor and support local Thanks for the friendly service

There are not enough good and wonderful things I can say about this place! Kj and all the other baristas there are wonderful! The coffee is always delicious and on point they have great food choices! Going somewhere first thing in the morning, and having people be fun, kind and then handing you a delicious cup of coffee is a rare thing..... unless you go to Kjs! Love you guys!!

Got a couple of drinks at this cute little coffee shop in North Seattle. If you live in the area, you know it's rare to come by! This establishment has been around for 3 years, serving creative craft coffees such as rose cold foam cold brew and lavender lattes. I enjoyed this spot and may come back here to try again

AMAZING Horchata latte! I've been looking for a new place with horchata lattes since my favorite closed down in Auburn. Anytime I'm up here now I'll definitely be back!

Kj's has the best coffee drinks and the nicest staff. The cake pops are amazing too! This is my go-to Saturday morning coffee spot. The chocolate covered espresso beans are such a nice touch!

Stopped by to check out the new coffee shop that opened up. It's great that they have an outdoor walk up window for COVID safety. There is an array of coffees and beverages that I'm curious to try out. The woman who works here, KJ, was super friendly and personable. The coffee drinks come with some espresso bean candies which is a nice touch, and KJ gave our dogs some treats. I also got a breakfast burrito (sausage and bacon were available) - it is just a pretty normal frozen burrito, but for $3 I have no complaints! There is a credit card fee of $0.35 for all cc transactions (at least for now)

Little drive through cafe with excellent espresso drinks. Husband tried their dark chocolate mocha with a double shot of espresso - smooth, creamy and robust. Delicious! I tried their perfect pecan latte, with half the sweetness and a double shot of espresso. Really delicious fall flavors! They also have white coffee there, which is nuttier and higher in caffeine content. The barista recommended trying it out with horchata, so we will be back soon to try that one and the cold brew.

Great spot. Nice baristas, good service, fair prices, and excellent coffee. Highly recommend this spot. 10 times better than Sbucks.

Stopped by last week for a sandwich and espresso. Quick and friendly service, and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a drive thru! Everything was delicious, and happy to support a local biz

Ordered a latte and cappuccino. Both cups of coffee were very watery and had no flavor. One of the worst coffees I've ever had not just in Seattle but nationwide. The store itself was a tiny window and the menu was difficult to read and poorly organized. The service was also extremely subpar to round out a mediocre coffee experience. Save yourself time and money and just get a cup of coffee from McDonald's

The girl at the drive up window was rude. I said blue lotus with blue Raz and coconut and she put regular raspberry so when I got the drink it was purple and I asked her is this blue lotus...are you sure and she offered to remake it and I told her normally it's blue because it's blue raspberry and blue Lotus and she told me no I said raspberry. She made it but told me she would have to charge me twice if this happens again and I told her I could pay five times the point is I said blue raspberry and she had to cop an attitude, the whole entire transaction she had an attitude. I don't typically go here because normally I get my drink before I come to work but I have been there a few times between my shifts as a bus driver because it's close to my work but I will never go back now! you're barista!!! you shouldn't have an attitude like that. if you don't like your job, why do you work there! SMH

Stumbled upon this coffee shop when it opened a handful of months back. The owner KJ is incredible! She is so sweet and so friendly and she just makes you want to come back. I miss local coffee shops like this with incredible barista's who make you feel so welcome it feels like in Seattle Customer Service has dropped tremendously. She makes incredible drinks at great prices!! and it's awesome too that it's a drive-through perfect for moms with kids!

Tired of those corporate coffee places where the coffee is expensive and there is not much coffee in the coffee beverages? Kj's is a place that is a bit hard to find but really, really worth it. We've been going here for our hot and cold beverages for several months now and we love it. All the baristas are friendly and efficient. I don't know what else to say. Maybe I should say, "try it, you'll like it". Okay let's pretend I said that. Now go to Kj's. Drive through or walk-in. They've got lots of goodies to eat also. Come on. It's the coffee you really want. Here's the place. Now go.

I love the new drive thru coffee stand! Their pup cups are so cute and include a dog treat on top. All the baristas are super sweet and thoughtful. They have some great seasonal drinks!

Omg! It's hard to believe a Seattle coffee drive-thru can be this bad. They serve food with artificial flavor and aluminum. They even warm up their food in plastic!! Please do yourself a favor and stay away.

Grateful for this place. It's been a routine of mine to get a cup of coffee in weekday mornings and roam around the neighborhood. Love their chai, and they've had other great speciality drinks I've tried. Drive-thru or walk up is always quick and smooth.

My first visit today! I loved my Eggnog Latte, I've always been a Starbucks customer, but not anymore!!! I'll be coming back to Kj's tomorrow!

We found Kj's halfway through our vacation and it became our favorite coffee shop. They were fast, so friendly, and the coffee and other drinks were delicious. My favorite drink was the Stardust Matcha! Definitely recommend Kj's.

I've only had one visit to base this review on, but it's a great addition to the neighborhood. Friendly folks, nice & clean building and the coffee is great. One of the better Americanos I've had in a long while. It's not as dark/bitter as something like Starbucks, but it's got plenty of flavor and doesn't feel watered down or thin. Great stuff.

I have been loving KJs! Kjelsey is so genuinely friendly it is always fun chatting with her. All the drinks have been delicious. So good in fact that I have been by every single day since trying it out. So happy to have a great new coffee place in the neighborhood.

This review is mainly about the logistics of the place and not the drink I ordered. First, I walked up to the front door to find out it was locked and saw what appeared to be drive-through only. So I went to the drive-through to order my drink. The menu is in awkward spot to the right of the window so I couldn't see it very well. Then the counter had a basket of some food items which I think were for display purposes only but they were very faded so it didn't look very good/appetizing (I suggest just removing it). I asked about flavors for a certain drink and was told there are too many to say so to just choose whatever I like. One of my biggest pet peeves is when food establishments don't have flavors and items listed - it's not that difficult to have a sign listing everything. Then I found out there's a walk-up window but as mentioned, there was no signage on the front door indicating that. Lastly, the person working wasn't very friendly. A note for those on the customer service side of the business, you don't have to be over the top enthusiastic and friendly, but a small smile goes a long way.

This is the Best coffee and service in town! Great snacks and breakfast items. Must visit!

Whew!! We found Kjelsey again! Missing her beautiful coffee since Holman road. So happy to see her and taste the great coffee. Will definitely stop by whenever in the Northgate area...YOU should too!

Having Kj's in the neighborhood is exciting for me because my heart goes out to small business's. I hope Kj's thrives well. Also this establishment is my favorite coffee place in Seattle cause they're right around the corner from me.
