One of the best tender ribeye and filet mignon steak I've had in a long time. Customer service was extremely good. I highly recommend this place..

Non-smoking inside! yay! Cool lady bartenders so its lady friendly and safe. Neighborhood bar. AMI jukebox. Good bar food.

The bartenders are nice and what I’ve had here to eat has been good, but the atmosphere could use some work. I have been here a few times for karaoke and the crowd has been hit or miss.

I came for an event and came back for the atmosphere. I got the chicken tenders and fries combo and a vodka and cranberry. The pool table is usually free and takes quarters. I enjoyed the laid back feel and the fact the pool and darts are in the back so I don't feel like I'm bothering others.

What a great place! It's our last night in town and came here because it's close to our hotel near the airport. Walking in the door we were greeted with a loud, genuine "hello, welcome!" Drinks are inexpensive and served by a smiling, friendly bartender. It was steak night so that's what we had. Cooked perfectly. Couldn't have been a better experience. Disregard the reviews about smoking here - this is now a non-smoking establishment.

This place rocks! There's really no better way to say it. Amanda and Kara are legit the best bartenders I've ever come across!! This is a good time kind of place with the hometown feel of your local dive bar. Karaoke is very fun with the community rallying around the planned evenings. I seriously was in town 9 hours before I stumbled across this establishment and I was not disappointed. For dive bar food it was great! The drinks are reasonable and the karaoke Is fantastic!! If you happen to come in during Kara or Amanda's shift you're in a good place to start the evening. I can't wait to come back to Kenner to come back to KJ's place!

Love, love, love this place! Joe & Susan have really an awesome place where you can go and enjoy yourself. It feels like a home away from home. I think it's the best place in Metairie, Kenner area for Kareoke. Look no further! Come see for yourself!

Great food, the bartenders ae always on the ball. Friendly service, friendly customers. The music is always great. We always have a good time at KJ's.

Great friendly neighborhood bar. It has a classic-loungy-sports bar appeal. For those who say the bartenders weren't friendly, I say you bring the attitude with you. We are definitely not regulars but came in happy and ready to meet new friends. The bartenders were lovely, gave us samples to try and took great care of us even when there was a house full of "regulars". The owner even came over to chat. If you are staying local for an early flight out, definitely stop in for a drink, some food and friendly conversation. You won't be disappointed.

I'm pretty miffed that all of the positive reviews of this place are "not recommended" - what are you doing, Yelp? I have asthma and found this bar to be incredibly clean and well-ventilated, yet you're going to leave up an old review written by a jerk? My friend and I were bouncing around Metairie bars last Saturday looking for karaoke, and someone suggested we come here. I'm so glad she did, because we had SO MUCH FUN! The drinks are very affordable and taste delicious. Karaoke Joe was a wonderful host, and the bartenders were cracking jokes with us as if we were regulars. I can't say enough good things about this place! We will absolutely be back.

The bartender was nice but Jesus it stinks in this place they allow smoking and she told us it was a 10 dollar minimum .. I just got water we were trying to sit out traffic but hell to the no it freaking reeks so bad all you hear is people coughing abs it's full of old white people that look at you funny. We left after 5 minutes fuck it we chose traffic instead.

Came to KJ's to enjoy some karaoke after a wedding and we all had an absolute blast!! Such a fun spot and I look forward to coming back! Yes there is smoking inside but that is still typical for bars--definitely not something that would keep me away from coming back and having a blast singing karaoke!!! Drinks are great too!

Lol who gave this place one star I went here after a wedding and had a BLAST!!! Great atmosphere, pool, darts, and karaoke! What can't go right

We had an amazing night here, even during covid! Staff is crazy friendly and the steaks were fantastic! Next time we come to New Orleans we will make a point to come Kennar just to visit this gem.
