London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Kleinsky’s is a New York-style deli, originally from Cape Town, and they’ve just opened a fancy new spot in Mayfair. Alongside BLT and pastrami bagels, there’ll be some interesting fillings, like smoked salmon, wasabi cream cheese, soya reduction, and pickled ginger. You’ll also be able to get your bagel with a side of added carbs—pretzels, Nutella rugelach, and chocolate pistachio swirls." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Kleinsky’s on North Audley Street is a great pit stop in Mayfair for bagels and coffee. I tried the sesame bagel with the veggie stack – fresh, crunchy, and full of flavour with a punchy honey mustard mayo. The latte was smooth, and the vibe is casual and welcoming, perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch while shopping nearby. Seating is simple inside, but most people enjoy sitting outside under the yellow umbrellas. A handy spot near Bond Street and Marble Arch if you’re craving bagels in W1.

A bit hit a miss here. Considering the area and price, a bit poor. Ordered a smashed avacado bagel with cheese slice. They forgot the cheese and when we took it back, they plonked a couple of slices on top! It took ages for the other bagels to arrive! Asian slaw was dry, tasteless and definitely not worth the money. Potato salad, again, tasteless and not worth the money. On the other hand, the Veggie bagel was very nice. A shame, as the experience was marred by slightly off hand customer service by one of the staff and some poor quality food.

We were looking for somewhere for a team lunch while passing, and the atmosphere, menu and available tables drew us in. The staff were lovely. Helped with recommendations (the everything bagel 100%). The place was cool, not too noisy and the art made for great talking points for us. And the bagels themselves... Delicious. Will absolutely be back as our office isn't far and it's nice to have something more casual but also great available nearby.

One of my favourite bagels in London! I always go for their smoked salmon bagel with an add on of tomato. They're very generous with their fillings and the bagels are super fresh. I recommend getting it to go and then eating it in one of the many nearby parks and green spaces that Central London has to offer. A perfect no-fuss lunch!

Bagel texture was good! It had a good crust and chewy interior. Flavour was not bad but nothing special and the sesame seeds fell off very easily. Coffee was good! Would come back but I wouldn’t say it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had

Ordered via Deliveroo so can’t speak on the service or atmosphere but to spend £6+ on a bagel and cream cheese you would expect to at least have a good amount of cream cheese on the bagel - basically just had dry round bread. Don’t claim to be a NY deli and not deliver on the easiest item on the menu.

Asked for a smashed avocado bagel with an addded slice of cheese. The avocado bagel was toasted with cold cheese just placed on top rather than being toasted on. Bagel itself was nice. The potato salad and Asian slaw weren't very fresh and were very disappointing

I honestly was never that into bagels before and did not understand why everyone loved them until I went here (lamb bacon is a high that i am forever chasing). Bagels had just the right chewiness and softness, and loved that they had multiple tabasco flavours as condiments on the tables. Highly recommend the BLT
