"Sustainable Bavarian Food Bavarian food is often meat-heavy, but sustainability plays a large role in Klingwirt's philosophy. All the meat is organic, fish comes only from sustainable fisheries, all egg are free-range, and no preservatives or additives are used. They also cater to food allergies and preferences, so if you are gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, or vegan, just ask and the friendly staff will try to accommodate your request."

Delicious all organic, or “BIO”, restaurant that seriously has the freshest ingredients. This was definitely the best schnitzel in town, even better than Andy’s Krablergarten. We had a goulash made of venison, mind blowing. And then just the simple sauerkraut alone was perfectly tangy and sour and possibly the best sauerkraut we had in all of Munich as well. The most surprising part of the meal was the organic red wine which we’ve never had good experience with… we ordered two. A must eat if you’re in town.

Amazing Bavarian restaurant. Food is so fresh and authentic! Highly recommend their apple strudel and ice cream. Probably best vanilla ice cream I ever tried

Such a great amazing place to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. We are not familiar with the size portion and ended up not able to finish my apple strudel. We ordered organic roast pork with natural dark beer sauce portions for 2 people, fish cake, organic salads, sauerkraut and warm apple strudel. The roast pork was extremely juicy and tender with flavours of beer. The fish cake had an aroma herb spices flavour. As for the organic salads, it was ordinary but the coleslaw had a very refreshing taste. The interior was cozy and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful in our ordering. He came and asked if we were happy with the food. Of course, we were very satisfied with the food quality that was served to us. Highly recommended!!!

I had a roasted pork with 2 kinds of dumpling as well as one helles beer and one red wine. Taste of beer is no doubt because it is German beer and red wine is also good one recommended by a staff. The roasted pork was quite fantastic both meet itself and source. I think it is worthwhile to try. The staffs are working quickly and professionally that made me very comfortable. I will visit again if I have a chance to come to this area.

For dinner, we opted for pumpkin soup as a starter, and it was very delicious. Originally, we wanted schnitzel, but since only pork schnitzel was available, we couldn’t have it, so we chose goulash instead, based on the waiter’s recommendation. It came with a side salad and was a hearty, flavorful dish. We were pleased with its taste. I chose a beer called Helles to accompany the meal, which was light and a delightful local brew. Thanks again to the helpful waitress.

This is a small boutique style restaurant, had local organic food full of flavour with out standing service, and great beer. We were in Munich for a full seven days and it says a lot as the team visited twice for the right reasons. I would highly recommend this as a great experience. Enjoy.

Amazing, I asked for lemonade I've got Zitronen, something that is not organic and contains a ton of sugar. Poison in my case. When I asked for what I ordered they said I have to pay for both. It is a nice and real bayerische experience. That I hope I will not experiment again. The food is amazing, quite good. But with the service it worth zero stars.

Yelp
I visited with two non veg friends. I had the beet soup and salad. I was pleased and my friends were too. One had a non veg meal. I highly recommend. They had English menus and alcoholic and no alcoholic drinks. And it's very cute.

Yelp
We were looking for an authentic family run restaurant. Yelp reviews were good so we made the 7-8 min walk from our hotel. We were greeted promptly and given a table even without reservations. Service was excellent by Joshi, who speaks very good English. Food was very good with portions such that we couldn't finish it all. Would highly recommend and we would revisit again.

Yelp
Was only in Munich for a short stay and wanted a traditional dish. This place not only delivered on atmosphere but the food was fresh and flavorful. I had the schnitzel with cranberries and herb potatoes and was delicious. Was an upgraded choice to a classic dish!

Yelp
We ate here the night after eating at Wirsthaus aus den Au. For half the price, we had food that was every bit as good (and with more manageable, i.e., smaller, portions). The spinach spätzle tasted like delicious mac & cheese, and the pork roast was also excellent. Definitely worth a trip if you want traditional German food for a good price.

Yelp
Good restaurant, friendly an welcoming. Food when it arrived was excellent. Service was slow I think because our order went missing! The server apologised. When this happens I think an offer of a drink or coffee would be a good idea to make real impact. 3 stars. If a coffee or some was offered I would say 4 stars. 5 stars are very rare for me.
