Heather took us through a wonderful wine tasting experience. She and the other wonderful ladies even stayed late as to not make us feel rushed. The wines are exceptional and so are the staff! Definitely on our places to return list!

Google
The tasting room is so pretty here, especially decorated for Christmas. I've tasted here before on a weekend and was blown away that there were four flights to choose from. This time there were two. The wine is reasonably priced and tastings are waived with a bottle purchase (2 bottles purchased to waive the reserve tasting). This time I headed in about an hour before closing and felt rushed by the staff despite there being several other people still tasting in the room. The patio area is beautiful and I may try again in summer.

Google
This was yet another winery that just shoves a wooden rack of plastic cups across the bar at you after you order a flight. They do offer you a glass to pour them into and the staff will respond to questions. The wine was decent, but what really took this from 3* to 4* territory was the live music on the patio and the food truck with lobster rolls that happened to be there that day. We also scored a case of rose for $99!-)

Google
We were very pleased with the selections here. Our server was very helpful in finding the wine we liked. We ended up buying 1/2 a case! She also helped us find other area wineries we might like. All-in-all, a great experience with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great wine!

Google
Great value wine tasting. We did the $10 tasting and got to try 7 amazing wines they produce. The location is gorgeous and the attention, superb. Will be back and will.tell others visiting our AirBnB in Stockton about it too.

Google
Nice winery tasting venue, beautiful patio so you can taste outside or inside. You get to pick a flight ranging from $10, $15, or $20 for 6 tastes. Good idea is to share different flights. The wines range from light dry Albarino to full bodied reds. We like the Old Ghost Zinfandel, Farrah Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon the best. Prices for the wines are very reasonable. The only drawback is very little attention from the staff if you like to ask questions about the grapes and the specific wines but there are answers on the website which we accessed during the tasting. The offer deli style bites also reasonably priced.

We had a complete blast tasting wine with host, Brennan last Tuesday, 1-30-24. My wife's favorite was the best, most balanced semi-sweet white I've ever had called Vorganger, and mine was the Old Ghost. Of course we had to join their wine club! Thanks for a perfect time, Brennan! Klinker Brick is a great place to experience Lodi wine - my favorite wine in the world!

Google
We had a wonderful visit and wine tasting at Klinker Brick Winery in early April of 2022! Their winery is in the agricultural area of Lodi: grapes, walnuts and more. Our hosts were gracious and helpful. The three of us chose to taste the three flights they offered that day. Mostly reds with a couple of sparkling, and roses. We found their wines to be enjoyably dryer than our usual selections. It provided us a palate pleasing contrast. We spent the night at the vineyard via harvest hosts. It was a beautiful sunset in the arms of the grape vines.

Yelp
We had reservations for Saturday at 2:30. We were seated pretty quick. It was busy here. They had outdoor and indoor seatings. They had 4 different flights: $10, $15, and $20 for 6 wines. I'm glad they poured all the wines out so we could go at our own pace. Wines were good here. A lot of fruity wines and smooth. The staff were nice. When a lady staff saw that we brought out our charcuterie box, she brought out napkins for us. Sparkling Albariño: good Sparkling bricks & roses: ok Vorganger semi sweet blend: sweet Albariño: light Grenache blanc: good, fruity Bricks & roses rose: light Farrah Syrah: not good, some tannins , fruity Brickson red blend: not good, some tannins , fruity Old vine zin: not good , fruity Cab: not good , fruity Dolcetto: not good , fruity Carignane: decent , fruity Sangiovese: Marisa vineyard old vine Zinfandel: Old ghost old vine Zinfandel: not as good as 2018 1850 red blend: good, fruity 2018 old ghost : good Grenache: good Petite Sirah: good

Yelp
Great winery spot back in May 2023. A great selection of wines and the staff was great at making recommendations for some of the newbies in my group. The property is amazing with both indoor and outdoor tasting areas plus picnic tables for those that want to eat and drink. I am especially thankful for my server that corrected an error in my order by refunding the omitted bottle in my order after I left. Also thanks for being flexible on picking up my friend's club shipment.

Yelp
Discovered this winery through Costco of all places and have been meaning to stop by for a while. Finally got a chance only to find out that they do not allow children, including infants. As it was a Tuesday at 2pm and the place was pretty empty I let them know we have an infant and wanted to see if I could still do a tasting and they said no. They were nice about it but I won't be purchasing any of their wines as our son goes where we go. In the off chance he gets fussy my wife will take home out or we leave. Seems like a funny policy as we've never encountered this in Napa or Livermore.

Yelp
AMAZING Customer Service! Great conversations at the Tasting Bar while waiting for my wines to pick up. Snacks are available to pair with the wines. You can't beat being a Member and enjoying a glass of wine for $1. Forever Member, I will be.

Yelp
Was in the area so decided to give them a try. Good red wines! We are not members, but felt like we were!

Yelp
I have been wanting to visit Klinker Brick for a long time and the time I do is when I've moved away from NorCal! Many people have recommended this winery to me and now I understand why. Klinker Brick solely serves their wine on site. The hospitality is great (shoutout to Kim for the wonderful recommendations!) We came on a rather busy day and had to wait a while to get the menus, but can't complain when it's such a gorgeous day. There are 4 wine tasting lists to choose from ranging from $10-$20, and may be a mix of whites and reds. I opted for the mix to try some rosé and their Zins (a must in Lodi) and it was delicious. Kim also poured the 2018 Barbera for me which was awesome and only available for club members. They also have a snack menu where you can choose to purchase cheese, gourmet meat, crackers and jam A La carte. I recommend the costal cheddar (recommended by Kim). It was so savory, crumbly yet smooth, and had a little crunch to it from the crystallized salt! Simply amazing. At the end we got to walk around the vineyard a little and saw some fruit orchards, horses snd stretches of vineyards. Lovely time, and can't wait to visit again in the future!

Yelp
OK so this is our next time back to this place my wife has been in the club for a bit now and she ordered a few bottles to take home so we came here to pick them up and since we were here decided to try a few other types of wines and champagne And really enjoyed ourselves. The lady that helped us was very nice and really took care of us and showing us the difference of wines and champagne and we end up buying a few more besides the four My wife had from before. So for someone like me that wasn't really into wines. I really enjoyed myself to wear. We end up taking home six bottles of wine, and one champagne to mix with one of my sweet wines because it was very tasty and if it wasn't for the lady that helped us we wouldn't have known this, so we appreciate everything she did for us. So hopefully we will see you again when we come back we will you are in this area. Come check it out. Ambience is excellent. The service of everybody is great and we will be here to do winetasting for the upcoming crab feedor just to see another band when they start doing those again our friends play in a band that played here before thanks again and we will see you soon

Yelp
Outdoor seating in the back is cute. They have lots of amazing wines and a good snack menu

Yelp
What an amazing place to visit. Our favorite in Lodi! Really hospitable people and nice tasting area. Also a back area here or you can sit and enjoy the view of the Vineyards. And the prices are very reasonable. Pets are welcome

Yelp
Stopped by one of our favorite wineries in Lodi. Never disappoints. We had an awesome wine attendant .....Kayla. She was so attentive and just had a great personality for this kind of work. We loved her. Did buy a couple of bottles of wine. We really like their Old Vine Zines. Thank you for another great wine tasting experience.

Yelp
This stunning classy, intimate establishment is the DIAMOND of the Lodi wine experience! The wine is delicious, something for every palate! The experience was the best that I have had (we had a ton of fun felt like coming to see family!) the staff was amazing!!! In particular Ms. Kim!!! She is THE BEST! Ms. Kim greeted my family on my moms birthday with so much warmth! We were able to bring our own food for our small celebration, and found that on Fridays there is live music! I will definitely be recommending to family and friends for intimate and family times!!!

Yelp
Had a great time tasting and visiting with these fine folks. Had plenty of space and delicious wines to taste and even had some with lunch on their beautiful patio space. Staff was friendly and accommodating and made sure that we were safe abd taken care of. Thank you to them and look guests to a return visit.

Yelp
The tasting room staff are courteous and knowledgeable. You are greeted upon entering and seated at a table with a menu and glasses. There is plenty of seating with tables inside and on both outside patios. You will find beautiful water feature on one patio and small lawn with picnic tables on the other. There are patio heaters to keep warm and water stations in each area. Many selections for wine but light on food. They offer a selection of cheeses, meats, and crackers for sale if you need to snack. Some folks bring their own food items in as well. They do close for private events so you may want to call in advance. There is also a small per person fee for large parties which require reservations. Wine Recommendations: (my preference) 1. Brick Mason 2. OG Zin 3. Old Vine Zin 4. Sparkling Rose (when they have it) Cheers!

Yelp
This was a great find. We don't get to Lodi often. Not often enough apparently. Wine tastings are offered in various levels and types which is a great idea when there are many wines available. The wines are very, very good. Staff is friendly enough if a bit burdened the day we visited. We don't think it's ever appropriate to chastise an employee in front of guests. Other than than that, they were very good and attentive. The venue is very nice. We sat on the patio and were treated to live music in a very covid friendly atmosphere. Great vibe here. If you haven't been. Go.

Yelp
I loved this! What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The weather is cooperating. The ambience is just made for this experience A why didn't I do this before
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
Ok. Wine is good, service is not. We stopped by for the Tour of Albariño but they were sold out of the wine. Staff acted bothered that we were there.

Yelp
(Please note that this review pertains to our delightful wine tasting experience that took place on October 18, 2020-prior to the new Stay at Home order). After being forced to take a wine tasting hiatus while businesses figured out how to create a safe environment, my wife and I stumbled upon Klinker Brick Winery. After doing some research (reading their Yelp reviews), we called and scheduled a wine tasting "session." Upon arrival we were greeted by an employee who provided us with the option to sit indoors (socially distanced) at a high table, or sit outdoors on one of the picnic tables. We chose the latter due to the beautiful weather and wholesome backyard arrangement. After being seated, the employee provided us with menus and gave us a rundown of their popular wines. We both ordered different flights of wine (the best way to sample a plethora of wines) and their gourmet Red Fox cheese. After finishing our flights (which were delightful), we decided to each order a glass of wine. We both ordered the 1850 Red Blend (one of our favorites). We were both shocked at the size of the pour (please reference my picture), this place is far from being stingy! Considering that most businesses are cutting back due to being financially impacted by COVID-19, this was definitely a surprise. Once the Stay at Home order is lifted, I highly suggest scheduling an appointment! Good customer service, delicious wine, and hefty pours...what more can you ask for?!
google avatar

Alyssa N.

Yelp
My favorite part of the tasting experience here is that they offer several different tasting flights. This really allows you to see all of the great wines they have. We got the limited release and reserve flights, and there were still two more. The wine is definitely good and they seemed most focused on old vine Zin and Rhône varieties. You have an option to taste outdoors or indoors. Both spaces are nice. My only regrets are (1) that the flights were pre-poured into plastic cups and (2) that no one came around to explain the wines and answer questions. I wonder if these are lingering effects of Covid. Either way, I would highly recommend a visit here to get a sense of some of the great wine Lodi has to offer. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Klinker Brick is amazing!! The service here is fantastic. Iris helped us out and she is so sweet and kind, super friendly too. We loved the wine here! I would definitely recommend purchasing the goat cheese, crackers, and pepper jelly to go with the tasting. I did the "light and bubbly" tasting and my husband did the "limited production" testing. We already can't wait to come back and bring our family and friends with us. In the future, we will certainly look into becoming wine club members and couldn't believe how generous the tastings are here. Definitely check out Klinker Brick! It's a 10/10 for me!
google avatar

Whitney H.

Yelp
Love this winery! Reasonable prices and generous pours with the tastings! Staff was very friendly. I look forward to going back.
google avatar

Rosa G.

Yelp
Friendly wines and fabulous staff. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the ability to have a picnic on the lawn was the best! We brought back 2 wines with us and will definitely be going back.
google avatar

Nalette H.

Yelp
The wine is ok and the service is painfully slow. We walked in and told to find a table and they'd be right over. We sat there for nearly 15 minutes before they came over to greet us and give menus. Other people who sat down after us were served more quickly (maybe members?) but others say at their tables and got back up to go request someone take their order. After we told them what we wanted we sat for another 10-15 minutes before the brought it! I thought...what are they doing back there? Smashing the grapes? All they had to do was pour it. After the long wait the wine was mediocre. And no one came back to check on us. The atmosphere is nice but I wish I would've just left and gone somewhere else. I recommend driving past this place to Stonum. Much better!!!
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
Absolutely recommend. We are members of the wine club for several years. Great wine, good value. I'm
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Made a reservation to Wine Taste at Klinker Brick with my cousins and husband and we got seated right away in the outdoor patio area. It was quiet, peaceful and a beautiful day. We each ordered the Reserve and Limited Production tastings which both were good but the service was excellent!
google avatar

Julie D.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds and large tasting room. The cheese and cherry pepper jelly were sooo good. We wanted to like the wine, yet none of us preferred anything we tasted.
google avatar

Alexandra P.

Yelp
Even though we were a large party of 8, they made us sit outside when it was 40 degrees. We eventually had to move inside since the heaters were not helping whatsoever. When we tried to order inside, they asked us to remain outside despite our grievances about the weather. When the manager realized that our party would remain inside, they asked us to leave despite having more than enough room to accommodate us inside. We were not behaving in an outlandish or belligerent manner, however, the manager was rude and I presume that they were discriminating against our parties race since we were the only party of color in the winery. While this is just a presumption, if the level of service at this establishment was ameliorated, we would not have ended our membership to this winery. This situation could have been handled differently.
google avatar

Courtney P.

Yelp
A rare luxury these days, my friends and I managed to escape for some socially distance outdoor winetasting. We started our day at Klinker Brick winery. They are following all necessary precautions and make all of the accommodations so that everyone feels comfortable at their winery. We decided on their $10 tasting flight and did not regret it. Each and every one of the wines we sampled was tremendous and it was so hard to choose just a few to purchase as bottles to go. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable and it was a tremendous experience. Just the smallest feeling of "normal" since the pandemic started.

Mark L.

Yelp
I have been a wine club member for the last two years, I canceled this morning. We went down there this Memorial weekend only to be greeted by a very rude woman at the counter! Upon entering the "Tasting Room" she asks what we were there for......really, I thought. I came back with a smart mouth answer in a teasing tone, saying we were there to taste whiskey. It was 4:20 in the afternoon, they close at 5. She rudely proceeds to tell me that they only sell bottles to drink at that time in the day. I did not go there to drink a whole bottle of wine then get in my vehicle and drive. I will never go back!
google avatar

Stan S.

Yelp
We had an extraordinary Outdoor wine tasting experience today with our group of 7. Our server was Kim. She loved what she was doing, very knowledgeable about our wine choices, and very hospitable. She made us feel like family. We will definitely return and ask for Kim. And we loved the fact that we were able to apply our tasting fee to the purchase of Wine. We now know why Klinker Brick is rated the number one tasting room by Trip Advisor. It's Kim!!
google avatar

Kimberley H.

Yelp
First outing during Covid, my daughter was visiting so we decided with as many wineries that are here we should visit one and try a tasting. So happy a friend suggested Klinker Brick. Socially distant and friendly staff. Sat outside and enjoyed the 3 different flights they had. Such fun, tasting and trying to identify the flavors.
google avatar

Shannon M.

Yelp
Horrible service. As someone who works in Customer Service, and goes to wineries on the regular, the staff only cares about their wine club members and therefore they didn't give two sh*** about potential new members. Service was nonexistent here. Go to M2 if you're looking for friendly people (who care about new customers) and great wine!
google avatar

Halle O.

Yelp
Kim AKA Kimmie is the absolute greatest! I hope you get to experience this delicious wine and cheese with her as your helper. She knows her stuff, makes great recommendations and is honest just a joy to be around. I signed up for the wine club solely because of her; well and how delicious their wine is! Thank you Kim!
google avatar

Dee G.

Yelp
We stopped by on a weekday without reservations but they were able to accommodate us :) Matt was wonderful.. we sat outside and realized it was too warm and moved inside which made for a more pleasant tasting experience. Everyone was spaced out more than 6 feet apart and they follow Covid protocols very seriously. They prefer you not walk around and if you do so to wear your mask. The staff always wears masks and I see them wiping down the chairs and tables as soon as patrons leave. Now for our tasting experience :) we ordered the Toma and the red fox cheese and cracker which were so delicious! My sister in law did the sparkling flight and surprisingly she enjoyed the Albariño the most. And also the bricks and roses sparkling was yummy too. I did a blend of the reds and I loved loved loved the 2017 cab! So much so that I ordered the previous two years. I also loved the red blend. Though the 205/2016 cab wasn't available on the property Matt went above and beyond to see if they could access some bottles for me! I'm so excited to do a side by side tasting of 2015,2016 and 2017!! He was pleasant and knowledgeable about not only klinker brick winery but the neighboring vineyards and where the grapes are sourced so It was a pleasure having him there to assist us! Lodi is known for its Zins however this winery has so much to offer for all kinds of palates! They are a smaller boutique like winery with a cute outdoor area and is always wonderfully decorated inside their tasting room for each holiday! Must visit when in lodi

Emmeline M.

Yelp
First time at Klinker Brick Winery. Location was small but nice. Staff was ok. Wine quality was average.
google avatar

Marisela S.

Yelp
This was our first stop at our first winery in Lodi and it did not disappoint, what an introduction. It had a cute front and inside the barrels that were sprawled out for you to enjoy your wine on had with their awards on the tops of them, which were very telling of the wines we were about to have. The hostess' were also very nice and let us be to venture and walk around if we wished, the water fountain outside, the outside patio was super cute. It was just really nice. I could see people hosting their parties there and just hanging out outside on a table with some chairs and heaters.

Talis H.

Yelp
This wine. This winery. We always have such a great experience at KB. Love their Reds especially . Old Ghost is an emotional wine for our family, but it suits our tastes as well as our Go To wine. Classy. Customer service staff are always so fun, knowledgeable and personal. Casual atmosphere. Love this winery, their beautiful wines, event experiences and it's staff.

Zulay L.

Yelp
The best winery experience! The Zins are awesome! The people are so sweet and kind. We are super coming back and joining the club ASAP! We came by a little late but they accommodated us and gave us a little glance at the whole picture ... and what a picture!
google avatar

Krista M.

Yelp
Klinker Brick is full of history and walking into the tasting room you can feel it. The place seems to have a local vibe as the bar looked to have some locals just enjoying some wine along with those visiting for an official tasting. 2 tastings were offered; a $5 or $10 version which is waived with purchase. Wines were nicely made, just not my style
google avatar

Kristin M.

Yelp
So sad to say we will be cancelling our membership. I have loved this winery for so long and had the worst experience here. The new policy of no children or infant greatly impacts my decision. We walked in today to pick up our wine club shipment and buy a case of wine our group came in with an infant and you would have thought we brought in an alien. All of the staff talked behind our backs and whispered and pointed instead of just talking to us. The staff was also very rude to another customer wanting a glass of wine. The customer service has gone down completely. So sad to see. Bye bye Klinker brick we will go else where we are welcome.

Erin J.

Yelp
We had a fantastic time here. Service was great and the wines were delicious. Would totally recommend!
google avatar

Hope K.

Yelp
The wine was delicious (we did the flight of reds which our server recommended) and the tastings were all very reasonably priced. They honor industry discount which is AWESOME! My friend and I were served by Kim. She was SO friendly and engaging and kind. She hands down made our experience! Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Low key, laid back environment. Wines were presented all at once with minimal interaction with staff on a busy weekend. All of that was fine! What we didn't appreciate was that we tried to get the check for 40 min to leave and our server ignored our eye contact while serving other tables, stacking boxes in storage, and even when we went up to the counter to pay, we had to go up twice because the checkout system doesn't allow anyone else to help us while we were actively avoided. Good wines, but very rarely do I think back on an experience with any business with a sour taste. Unfortunately this was one of them.
google avatar

Sam D.

Yelp
Cute winery and friendly staff. My reason for the 3-Star review is based on they charged me a mandatory $50 reservation fee and did NOT credit that towards the wine we purchased so that was an additional $90 This is Lodi, you're winery wasn't worth the $50 table or whatever that covered and the $90 in wine for 4 bottles. We certainly won't be back. There are plenty other fabulous wineries in Lodi that will credit your reservation fee towards your purchase.

Rebeca M.

Yelp
Super friendly staff and great wines. The indoor as well as the outdoor seating area is very rustic and laid back. Great family owned winery.
google avatar

Kimberly T.

Yelp
We visited several Lodi wineries over three days in the area. Klinker Brick was one of our favorites. They were recommended to us by two other wineries since we like big bold reds. And Reds they have!! They had two tasting menus regular and reserve and we each took one. The tasting fee was waved with our purchase. We really liked their Zinfandels especially the Old Ghost. We also Loved that they are Harvest hosts and RVs can stay on property. They have a cool geocache at the entrance. They were having a close-out sale and one zinfandel was only $10 a bottle. We came back for more the next day. :) Jim our server was amazing. He expertly juggled five different couples all at different points in their tastings. The quality of server, their friendliness, the sharing of informative and interesting wine facts..makes all the difference. Jim was impressive!! Overall a great stop just East of town a couple of miles

Sondi C.

Yelp
We just got up and left.. Sat at a table for 20 min.. Staff walked by several times. They did not acknowledge that we were there.. We were really disappointed we used to be big fans and wanted to buy wine and join their wine club.. Not sure we will ever support this Lodi winery.
google avatar

Diane B.

Yelp
Hoping to taste some jammy zins that made Lodi famous we stopped for a tasting flight. We had a "retail" flight and a "reserve" flight. The presentation was odd - they brought two wine glasses and then plastic cups of each wine. The retail flight - stuff you can buy at Safeway or Trader Joe's we were told - was immature and most a bit sour tasting. The reserve flight was a bit better with the Old Ghost the best of the lot. We didn't find our zin here.
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
The service here was so low key and friendly, we bellied up to the bar where a 30 year retired Navy Vet and his pet greeted us. The former serviceman told us about the best wines and bantered smartly with the employee and our group. A regular at a winery? How fun is that! We tasted terrific reds and a white Albarino I could enjoy all summer, light and crisp. There is corn-hole to play in the front patio and a stunning fountain in the back. Sure you can buy this wine in the stores...but come taste those you can it buy in stores at this little gem of a winery.

Susan B.

Yelp
Sadly the wine outshines the manager. Not generally helpful, seems like it was a hardship to help us. Maybe it was our color that made her react this way. All people like wine!!! Sorry if we don't fit your preference but will continue to drink wine at establishments that cater to all people.
google avatar

Susana S.

Yelp
A fantastic winery that should not be passed while in Lodi! When we came in this past Saturday, the place was bustling and there was friendly service everywhere. We ended up buying a few bottles of some of their red wines and a cool tiger wine openers (many located inside to the side including other animals and a ghost I believe $22 each). This place added to setting such a great mood for a day of wine tasting.
