Klösterle Hof

Only an 1.5 hours or so from Stuttgart, GE. We found this place in 2019 by accident.  The place we intended to have dinner, never said hello or waited on us, so we came here and the food was just fantastic. 4 years later and now that we live in Germany, we decided to go back and this time, we stayed the night. The hotel rooms are nice and very clean with comfortable beds and the breakfast that is well done. There is a stream running right next door and you can hear it at night if you leave the window open. So nice. There are trails all over this area and most are shaded. The Blue Diamond marked trail (marker) is on the corner of the hotel. You can figure out the trails when you get there, but don't forget to make a dinner reservation for when you are done. The food is fantastic. Pictures are attached. We will be back.

I randomly booked a room in this place and did not regret it!! Very kind staff, the room was very clean and a nice location for a vacation :)

Very fine dishes for a good price. I took mushrooms raviolis with truffle as a starter then a roast pork with local mushrooms, asparagus and potatoes as main dish. I don't remember the name of the dessert. It was strawberries with a gratinated cream and a vanilla ice cream. It sounds delicious and it was. The whole meal was very good so I definitely recommend this restaurant. Note to wine lovers : you will have a nice selection of wines. I took a local red wine (2016) which was quite a good choice.

Good and oldschool german food and accommodations The hotel is situated in the Schwarzwald mountains in a small town by a river and next to a former monestery. The rooms and interior has an old expression. The room, bed and bathroom were nice and clean. We had the lovely sound of running water from the river through our open window all night. And the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. Traditional food with a modern touch. We tasted Gebratende schweinemedallionen with cherry sauce - very good Hirschragout - also very good And wine and dessert were also perfect. The place is run by a friendly couple - and is really worth visiting ! We will return 😊

We had difficulties to find accomodation on a busy weekend. Locals recommended this hotel to us. It was a very nice and pleasant surprise. The hotel was not crowded. It is a little dated, but has an authentic flair from a hotel 50 years ago. In particular the breakfast room (hall) did not change it's style in the last decades. The bathroom could be improved though. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. But the most outstanding surprise was the little restaurant downstairs. We had an unbelievable good dinner there. The value for money was excellent. Only afterwards we noticed that the restaurant is listed in the Michelin guide.

Such a gorgious old building. ||We stayed here on the 3rd day of our bike tour. Because of the lenght of our tour we arrived after the restaurant was closed (on sunday they close early) but they had offered to serve us anyways and we had a most delicious schmitzel and asparagus.|Modern and clean and tidy room. Excellent bathroom. |Their breakfast hall is also a communal space with a fridge with beverages to use (at a small price).||Free wifi||Good german style breakfast. Great and friendly service. The family obviously enjoy running their establishment

We stayed in an appartment nearby so we don't have experiences about the hotelrooms. However we had a very pleasant experience having diner here. Fresh asparagus with schnitzel, great wine and a lovely Rhubarb creme for desert. The lady who served us was really friendly and interested, so it was a most pleasant evening!

I was on a solo motorcycle tour through the Black forest without an itinerary. I decided to stop for a cold beverage at this small villages guest house and restaurant. While I sitting on their lovely patio I noticed some very exceptional food being served so being a professional chef myself I decided this would be the place for dinner. They had a Room vacancy so I book it. Took a long hike in the beautiful river valley its located in and returned for dinner. It was a first class from the start.The husband wife team really over deliver, she in the dining room with flawless service and he executing star quality cuisine even the wine list was great. Two nights before I dined at a unmentioned Three star restaurant not far from here and I must say Kloesterle Hof was right there in terms of culinary delight. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced

Phenomenal, hidden gem. We walked in and were shocked! The food is amazing the wine was wonderful. Highly recommend!
