I've taken Melinda's Fundamentals of Bread Making and Bagels class. It goes without saying that she is a phenomenally skilled and knowledgeable baker, but even more importantly she has a gift for helping students understand the *why* as much as the *how*. She runs a supremely organized kitchen, gives typed recipes and tips, and she has the patience and natural skill to demonstrate and explain techniques until everyone in the class fully understands the concepts.
Thanks to Melinda, I've gone from absolutely zero baking ability to regularly making focaccias, sourdoughs, brioches, pizzas, flatbreads, and bagels I'm proud to serve my family and guests.
If you are serious about learning to bake, there is no better teacher than Melinda. I can't recommend her courses enough.
