"Knife & Tine, located at 1417 W. Fullerton Street in Lincoln Park, is a restaurant known for its comfort foods and pastas. After nearly four years of operation, it has announced its closure next month. The venue, close to DePaul University's main campus, offered an elegant dining option and became a popular spot for private events. The restaurant faced market challenges but managed to establish a niche within the community. Fans can enjoy throwback specials until its final day on June 10." - Ashok Selvam

Delicious food. I came here with a group of 9 and they set us up in a room at the back which could probably be used for a private dining room if asked. The whole menu looks fantastic, especially the drinks. I got a spicy margarita and loved the chili salt rim. Ask the server for recommendations if you're not sure what you may want. My seabass entree was incredible and the desserts were even more amazing. Overall not too expensive, especially if you don't order drinks. I'd definitely love to come back here again soon.

Horrible experience. 10 minutes without server before we even got coffee. Had to ask hostess for server’s attention. Brought a half filled cup. The “autumn salad” was a joke: handful of tough old kale, 5 half slices of raw zucchini, 6 frozen peas, smothered in tasteless dressing. $12??? First time I have ever sent food back. Explicitly asked for fried eggs over hard and cooked through as a replacement dish, with sausage. Eggs came with completely runny yokes, sausage was fine but pretty much Jimmy Dean. Mac and cheese was covered with sweet glop. The gracious thing would have been to comp the meal, but no, we were charged full price for everything we didn’t send back.

Small restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. Bartender and servers were all extremely friendly and the service was excellent. Mac and cheese appetizer was the highlight, but we also enjoyed the hanger steak with chimichurri and potatoes.

It is a new restaurant, and I work nearby so I gave it a chance. The waitresses were really nice, food was tasty, reasonable prices, and great variety.

As a native southerner, I must say that their menu for the fall is fantastic! 1st of their girl bartender makes some creative cocktails that aren't even on the menu. The staff is pleasant to deal with and they treat you well. Try the popcorn as a snack at the bar, it know popcorn doesn't sound like a great food but it really is! They spice it up and make it very flavorful. For appetizer I had the crab cakes. they are made with 80% crab meat not 25% like other places. They were most delicious. Dinner I had the fried chicken with butter biscuits. That stuff was GOOD, my momma couldn't make fried chicken that good. My boyfriend had the shrimp n grit. This stuff was really good, the grits were not gritty but smooth. Come here if you want good drinks and a skilfully prepared meal. The prices are great and not expensive.

I honestly could not have had a better experience at Knife & Tine. The food was outstanding. I had ordered the Chicken Thigh with Ricotta dumplings. It was cooked perfectly and packed full of flavor. My friend had ordered the Beef Cheek with the Bone Marrow Bread Pudding and WOW. It was very tender and delicious. The service was absolutely excellent. I wish I could have remembered our waitress name, but she was very attentive. All in all the food was delicious, the service was amazing and so was our experience. I will definitely be eating here again.

Absolutely delicious meal. Wife and I split the fried chicken and enjoyed every bite. Very happy we do not live anywhere near this place, otherwise we would be broke within a year. Expect to spend at least $30 per person with alcohol, but the quality of the food and service is worth at least twice that. The entire staff is very friendly and you can tell the owner has a passion for his business.
