Very nice looking place and great food. However, we came at 530 on a Saturday night as the rush began to come in. It was just my wife and I, and there were two very large parties seated nearly elbow to elbow with us and we could hardly hear each other talking as someone was basically screaming in our ear behind us. Our waitress was kind but we hardly saw her once the big tables came in and found ourselves wanting to leave sooner than later. Other tables received bread service but we had to ask and frequently waited quite a while for things, or unable to request for things as our food was dropped off by staff that was not our waitress. The food was excellent I have no complaints there, we just felt a bit overlooked once the 2 larger parties came. I don’t think this was the servers fault as she had to help 20 other guests behind us. Planning could be better on management’s behalf. Would recommend sitting at the bar or closer to the bathrooms if possible to avoid being seated behind large parties. Would maybe come back because of the great food, but service/planning could be improved at Knight’s.

Our first introduction to Knights Steakhouse was on a random weeknight and we just had drinks at the bar. We were welcomed by the bartender and enjoyed the sports bar/steakhouse vibe, drinks were great. Upon our second visit for a weeknight dinner, we felt just as welcome even without a reservation. Once seated, we were greeted by our waiter who got our drink orders in and got us set up with menus. Some rolls were set out with our salad and they were very tasty, could have used a tad more butter. We normally like a mix of steak and seafood so we ordered the halibut with honey glaze, rice pilaf, and asparagus as well as the 6oz filet medium with veggies, risotto and an additional side of mashed potato. I loved the honey glaze on the halibut and the rice pilaf was a great starch to go with it. The steak was cooked to temp and had a fabulous crust, which I always appreciate. Asparagus was alright but fat, so don’t be surprised if you get 3 or 4 big pieces. Didn’t love the veggies that came with my steak as much, they were fresh but pretty plain. Mashed potatoes were great with the steak, a straight up scoop of potato, nothing else needed. I wouldn’t come here expecting eccentric flavors, food trends, or white tablecloth attitudes. It’s a straight up American sport steak joint for dates, dudes, dads, and families visiting their college kids. We were very pleased with the food and impressed with our waiter who was attentive but not attached and agreeable but not pushy - we felt like we were in good hands. Our orders were correct and the food came out hot. I do think they could improve on presentation or zest up their vegetable game. The bartender makes a mean last word, so they made an instant fan of me from the start.

I wish I could add the photo of my lobster roll today. The bun was not toasted and it was topped with easily less than 4oz of just lobster. Perhaps Michigan is different. No butter anywhere…. Not on the bun, not on the lobster…. Nada, just plain cold lobster. I do love lobster but certainly not what I expected. I did send it back for the bun to be toaster which it slightly was. Service was excellent. Photos below! The Knights Lobster roll then The Weathervanes Lobster roll. Both in Michigan.

My wife and I had our valentines dinner here and it was fantastic. The staff at the entrance were exceedingly helpful and friendly. Our server Michael was knowledgeable, personable and checked on us frequently. We split the Delmontico for two, and while we knew there was no way we’d eat a 27oz ribeye, the deal was too good to pass up. A few oysters to start (you can choose your number, which was great)…they were very fresh. A cup of their mushroom bisque…wow…this was probably the best I’ve ever had. The wait for the steak was minimal. Sides were asparagus, fresh vegetables, and potatoes au gratin. The steak was seasoned perfectly…oh man I can still taste it! And for such a large cut of meat it was cooked spot-on medium rare. This was just an excellent dinner. Great job!

Google
No, this isn't a stuffy formal steakhouse, but the food is decent, tasteful, and the portion sizes are appropriate for the cost. My wife had the wild mushroom risotto, which she enjoyed, while I had the spicy blue cheese bourbon "Hanger Steak" medium rare. If you're not a fan of blue cheese, stay away, as it will seem a bit salty, but paired with the mashed potatoes (no sauce/gravy), and grilled asparagus, it balances out nicely. I was a bit disappointed with the espresso martini, the presentation was lackluster, and it tasted like a pre-mixed cocktail. However, the Prosecco and Revelry Cabernet Sauvignon were good companions for the meal. Our server was very polite, very attentive, and had a nice sense of humor that didn't come across as forced or faked. Nice guy. I heard from numerous sources that their burgers are great, so looking forward to coming back again soon.

Google
Everything was bad! Waiter was the worst named Ken!! Went for my son's 18 th b day and my French dip was raw, I had pink lipstick on my water glass, then had them just bring me fresh fries and the 3 Rd bite was a hair in my mouth! This place was a joke and the only good thing was the manager she was very nice and tried to fix the things but they were not fixable!! Reduced everyone's bill to 25%off but at the end the waiter couldn't even get the bills right ! Over charged my oldest son and then reimbursed them and just didn't give him a bill cause he couldn't figure it out. Worst place ever

Came back home to visit and say good bye to my aunt R.I.H. and had not been to Knight’s since Covid . Happy to see the server Mike still there because his customer experience is excellent but the food and presentation just wasn’t good. The kitchen seems lazy with presentation and placement and preparation of the plate. My husband ordered prime rib that just didn’t look like a great piece of meat, I ordered a New York seared with Cajun spice and well done. My baked potato wasn’t completely cooked all the way through and what a poor way to serve the veggies. For the price you pay, the plate should resemble it. Maybe next time.. if I come back into town it will be better 😕🤔

Google
Such a cute place to eat in Ann Arbor! It seems great for families or a fancy meal. We got the Caesar salad, Canadian bacon soup, NY strip, and the southern burger. They were all really good, especially the soup and the steak! I will say I wasn’t as big a fan of the veggies that came with the steak, it felt a little plain and the home made chips were a bit too hard for my taste but overall we have such a great experience! The meat was cooked to perfection and the service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was great as well!

Yelp
I had the black bean hummus with pita as an appetizer. The hummus was pretty good, the lightly fried pita was the star. So light and crispy but still soft in the middle. The large chunks of carrot were inedible though. I had the Bourbon butter hanger steak. The steak was cooked well but the outside char was a little hard to eat. The butter sauce wasn't bad but I didn't taste the bourbon. Mashed potatoes and Au gratin potatoes are AMAZING. The asparagus was a nice side you don't see super often. The knight and day pie is so good, it's actually cheesecake though. It's a chocolate cheesecake, layered with white chocolate mouse and a little ganache on top.

Yelp
The restaurant suffers from an identity problem. It does not know whether it is a steakhouse or a sports bar. As soon we were taken to our table, we passed by a large bar area with several seats still available. A solo visitor may be able to dine without a reservation by sitting at the bar. Fortunately, the bar was not excessively noisy. Unfortunately, there was a large party seated at the nearby table and directly in front of a television. They thought this was a sports bar and often shouted at the television showing a college hockey game. I ordered a bottle of wine. Because our waitress was inexperienced at uncorking, she had to ask for a more experienced waitress to uncork it. The food was okay. The Fried Brussels Sprouts tasted great especially with the maple-mustard, balsamic reduction. Unlike our experiences at other steakhouses, the waitress never inquired about the filet mignon or the prime rib. I had expected to have been asked to cut the steak to verify it was cooked appropriately. Not sure why the brownie sundae was named Brownie Bottom Sundae since the brownie is typically on the bottom and the ice cream on top. In either case, it tasted like any other brownie sundae. When even a larger party was seated at another nearby table, I knew it was time to go whether or not the dessert was finished.

Yelp
The service was wonderful! Our waiter was attentive, kind and helpful. The food was nothing spectacular but overall I'd say it was good. I wouldn't rush back here or say it's a favorite spot, but I enjoyed the decent meal!

Yelp
Got a reservation so no problem with getting a seat. We were greeted and immediately seated. Ethan was our server and he did an excellent job! I tried both the Mussel sausage gumbo and Black and Blue pork chops. Both were excellent. The whole staff there really hustles to keep the restaurant clean and strive to make all the customers happy. I am so glad I was able to come back and enjoy another excellent meal at Knight's Ann Arbor Downtown.

Yelp
The atmosphere is so different from the Dexter Rd location! Parking can be tricky - prepare to park at a meter. Their crème brûlée is one of the best I've had!

Yelp
We had reservations at 4:45pm on Saturday. We were in town for the MSU basketball game. I started with an Aperol Spritz and it was refreshing and delicious. We started with the filet sliders. The flavor was delicious and the meat was so tender. If I could change anything, I would do the fried crispy onions instead of the cooked onions. It needed a little bit of a crunch. Or even toast the bun so that the bun is a little crispy. I ordered the French onion soup and my husband the Caesar salad. My soup was hot, flavorful, and the cheese was so melty and delicious. My husband's salad had the most delicious Caesar dressing on it. We were then given a bread basket and it was a pleasant surprise. The bread and butter were actually really good. Our server was friendly and quick to grab things for us. My husband and I both had New York strip steaks. We added the garlic butter and crispy onions as well at the Knights house steak seasoning. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Once the sun had made its way below the buildings, staff opened the windows. It helped with the ambience of our dinner. I also loved the fresh flower at our table. My husband added shrimp to his steak and we shared it. We also asked for fresh horseradish and horseradish sauce. Our server brought both out to us. We use horseradish on almost everything. Ha! Our server recommended Knight and Day pie, so that's what we ordered for dessert. It was a great recommendation. So silky and delicious!

Yelp
We had dinner at Knight's on a Sunday night following an event. I have mixed feelings after my first visit. We started with the Seafood Tower for an appetizer. Everyone at the table enjoyed this. I thought it needed more flavor. It did have dollops of hot sauce, which helped. For dinner I had the smaller New York strip. My steak was very good. It was cooked perfectly. I forgot to order an "enhancement". The dinner came with a cup of soup. I chose the cream of mushroom, which was very good. Prices are on the expensive side (my steak was $32 for 8oz). The service was friendly, but painfully slow on this night. We waited forever to order. And, looking around the room, we were not the only ones waiting. It was over 30 minutes for my wife to get a glass of wine. The meal was much longer than expected. The atmosphere felt an upscale take on an English pub. There is a bar in the middle of the room with various tables and booths. A few tvs has the Michigan hockey game (appreciated), but not a sports bar by any means. I would give this place another go.

Yelp
Favorite place in A2 thus far. We moved from Chicago about a month ago and I have been on the hunt for what will be our go-to spot. So far Knights is it. We've been many times for just drinks- the dirty martinis are amazing. Lunch once- I got the burger and my husband got the Cajun chicken pasta. Both were delicious and fairly priced. I'm a burger fan and this is the best one I've had in Ann Arbor yet- I've tried 4-5 since we moved here. Dinner- we are big ribeye fans so decided to split the larger one. We each got a salad and the kitchen split the dish for us. This might sound like it's not a big deal but it makes the experience so much better. The blue cheese chips were addicting- I wouldn't get them every time for the two of us because it's a very large portion. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, veggies were flavorful and soft, and the Mac and cheese is a side we'll get again. Overall- Knights is a fan favorite in our household and we look forward to many more visits.

Yelp
Friendly atmosphere; staff made great suggestions. The onion soup was delicious. Complimentary bread was really good. My salmon was cook to perfection. Drinks are strong and good! I will visit again.

Yelp
Knights has great food and fresh drinks. All the cocktails are made fresh and by knowledgeable bar tenders. They offer great food specials by the daily chef and only serve fresh ingredients. However, I wish they would bring the truffle fries back!

Yelp
HOLY MOLY KNIGHTS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! We hit it on a Sunday nite after the ladies soccer game on parents weekend. Most of the parents had gone home and we wanted to go somewhere special. Knights isn't a place that many students frequent. It's more of a place that the rich people in the local community dine at. When we got there, the hostess just happened to be a classmate of my kid. LOL. It was pretty packed. Big round tables filled w diners. Big screens with Sunday nite football. The bread rolls were really really good. Baked on the outside and fluffy in the center. Perfect for the butter. My daughter ordered the New York with buttered noodles. I ordered the huge 28 Oz Cowboy steak with baked potato!!!!!!!! Both dishes were phenomenal. It was pretty expensive but who cares...it's about the memories. WE'll BE BACK FOR SURE.

Yelp
Not a bad spot for a semi formal meal in downtown Ann Arbor. You definitely need reservations as they get busy. Perhaps they are understaffed but our service did take a while both at the bar and at our table. Everyone was happy with their food, and overall not a bad experience.

Yelp
Last night of our business trip we stopped here for dinner. I didn't catch our waiter's name but he was awesome. As for the food it was wonderful. I had the 16oz steak with mash potatoes with gravy along with a house salad. For drinks a classic old fashioned which was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and seared. Knights was recommended by one of our co-workers who is a native from Ann Arbor. Wonderful atmosphere and ambiance. I would definitely visit again.

Yelp
Had a wonderful stop in for a drink and a snack with Josh and Andrew! Super friendly gentlemen and very tasty snacks - some oysters on the half shell and delicious French Onion soup. The atmosphere is very tasteful and the staff more than accommodating.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant with great food on a great campus that makes really great food and strong drinks. I didn't get the steak, even though all my local friends recommended it, because I have discovered that since I switched to cooking my steaks exclusively Sous Vide, I find it nearly impossible to find a steak cooked as good as I can make it at home, so I quit spending money on expensive cuts in restaurants. Everything else we had, however, was fantastic. We had a meat and cheese board, sliders and other sandwiches. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere on a football, home-game, Friday night was electric. When I was in school here this location did not exist so I'm glad they opened it and we will certainly come back. The bottom line: I guess you could say this is sort of a "fancy bar food place." The food is super good, the drinks are strong, the menu is comprehensive and the service is outstanding. We will be back.

Brandon D.

Yelp
My waiter was super mean he was a shorter man. The food was amazing but other than that service was bad.

Yelp
Please note considering the price point of Knights the review will have higher expectations than most of my other reviews. Overall the food is great, but considering the price point, I want as close to perfection as possible. Both steaks came with a soup or salad, I went with the cream of mushroom which was delicious and my wife had the salad which she enjoyed. The star for my wife and I was actually the Bordelaise hanger steak, which surprised us as we thought it would be the cowboy ribeye. The hanger steak was tender cooked to medium rare perfection, the bordelaise sauce took it to the next level. The cowboy ribeye was cooked medium rare as well very tender, if you like char flavored meat than you will love this steak. We had the waitress bring out some horseradish to take the ribeye to the next level. For a side my wife ordered the wild mushroom risotto, which had a bit to much salt, had nice flavor otherwise. For appetizer we ordered the seafood tower, the tuna, crab, and chilled seared scallops were good on their own but we're definitely missing something. The couple of drops of sriracha to make the plate look pretty was not enough for flavor a dipping sauce of some sort is needed to take this dish to the next level. For dessert we had the vanilla crème brûlée with berries. Perfectly flamed crisp on top with soft velvety brûlée on the bottom eating it with the berries enhanced the flavor. Overall the food was good and it should be at this price point. The negatives for me as my wife and I do not drink alcohol there really were no non alcoholic options besides water and if there was our waitress did not mention them just started us off with a water. Also our water never got refilled which I would have expected at least once for a 4 course meal. The waitress otherwise was prompt as each course came out in a timely fashion. My other knock is the seating arrangement is very crowded not a lot of space to work with. Overall the quality of meat speaks for itself nice for a date night with drinks. If you do not drink alcohol the options seem very limited or the waitress needs to do a better job advertising them as I do not see them on the menu. For a romantic evening, I would not recommend this place much to loud and crowded.

Yelp
There are no many people on Saturday morning. The steaks are fine, serving with house salad and chips.

Yelp
I thought I was familiar with all the restaurants in downtown Ann Arbor, as for years, I spent most weekends exploring the town and enjoying its eateries. However, I missed a key one, Knight's Steakhouse. I figured it out at 2am and excitedly made a reservation for later on in the day. What a perfect way to celebrate. The restaurant is bright and airy from the expansive walls of windows that look out onto the vibrant street life. Outside, groups were enjoying the comfortable summertime weather on an enlarged patio that extended onto the roadway. Inside, the crowd was smaller. There was a large group of celebrants occupying a table up front, people enjoying a game at the bar, and a few tables filled with relaxed and smiling guests. I already knew what I was going to get, before taking a quick peek at the online menu to confirm my choice. Aside from duck, prime rib is my favorite meal. I love the tenderness of the beef and the variety of steakhouse accompaniments. It's also something that I rarely make at home, despite the fact that it is relatively easy. Of course, that was what I had ordered, even though Yelpers point to the excellence of the burgers here, as well as the other cuts available on the menu. The prime rib was excellent, as tasty and satisfying as I expected. I easily trimmed through all the fat (always expected with this cut) and enjoyed the heartiness of the beef, ordered with extra vegetables and sautéed mushrooms. After a slow start, service was quick and professional.

Yelp
Fantastic!!! In town from Atlanta on business and Tia was one of my picks to try. Did Not disappoint. Food, Service and Atmosphere was outstanding !! Highly recommend

Yelp
We went here on a Saturday at about noon and sat outside. It was not overly busy inside or outside. We ordered the sweet Italian sausage hash (special), the salmon sandwich, and bacon jam goat cheese burger. It took over an hour for our food to arrive and the waitress didn't stop in to give us an update or apologize for the length in time. The only communication in between was that "our food will be right out," and we then proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes for it. Once the food arrived it was all really good, but arguably overpriced and we spent an hour and 45-minutes at this place which is just absurd.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and the server Katie was amazing, she was informative and extremely nice and and very pleasant to work with!!! Thank you Katie!!!!

Yelp
Probably the best fancy date night spot in Ann Arbor, with great prices too compared to New York or Chicago! The oysters were very fresh and presented beautifully. Having horse radish on the side definitely added a spot of flavor. The filet mignon came with shredded crab on top- talk about protein on protein! The filet was so soft and juicy, especially with that glorious bearnaise sauce drizzled all around it. Hilariously, the baked potato was bigger than the steak itself and toppings for the baked potato (like bacon or chives) were extra. It didn't really need anything more than butter and sourcream. Overall, super happy with the lovely night there! Plus they give you a free slice of cake for your birthday so make sure to save it for that special night

Justin L.

Yelp
we dont like the steak, although it's famous for its steaks. Too plain, not juicy. Not worthy of its price.

Yelp
My mother-in-law had her this place down in Florida and really wanted to try it. We were greeted promptly when we came in and seated. There were so many great sounding things on the menu that it took a while to decide what we wanted but we ultimately got a tuna appetizer to share and then we each ordered steaks. Appetizer was incredible. I really liked the crispy chips that went along with it because it gave a little bit different mouth feel from the creamy tuna and avocado. When our meals arrived I was impressed that the steaks were perfectly cooked! I guess it makes sense given that this is a steakhouse but still I have gone elsewhere and had over cook steaks. I was a little disappointed in the vegan risotto. I can't tolerate dairy so my original option, maybe mashed potatoes with cream in them, or something I knew I couldn't eat so I was going to get extra vegetables. Waitress suggested that they have vegan risotto so I decided to get it. This really was not risotto, it was more like rice pilaf with vegetables.

Yelp
For appetizers, we ordered the Brussels sprouts and the calamari. They were both so so good! The Brussels sprouts had a delicious balsamic sauce and is one of the best Brussels sprout dishes I've ever had. The calamari dish was also very unique and had wonderful flavors. 10/10 with both dishes ! I also got the French onion soup. It was good, but arguably needed a little salt. I have had better soups. 7/10 I would give this place a five stars but sadly I had to dock a star for the service. It was a busy night but it was very slow service wise. Tables around us got their food before us even though we had arrived before them. They also took nearly an hour to refill my water. My entree, the ribs, was super flavorful. I liked that it was on the sweeter side and had enough for leftovers. However I was definitely disappointed with my side of Mac and cheese. The sauce was too watery and not very flavorful. The ribs get 9/10. The Mac and cheese gets a 5/10 My friend got the ahi tuna and she would give it a 7.5/10. It was good but it was just a little average. The sauce was good and added to the dish. My other friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich. She said it was great but the sauce was too drippy. 8/10 My friends mom ordered the salmon. The salmon was cooked well and was very crispy on the outside. 8.5/10 My other friends mom ordered the salad. She said it was good 8.5/10

Yelp
Nights is always a good choice especially if you've had a long week and need a stiff drink known for their large pores and tasty chunks of meat. I highly recommend us if you've never been.

Yelp
We came here for birthday dinner. I had walked by this place what seems like a million times, but I think this was my first time actually dining here. There were 5 of us. We were seated very quickly, and it seems like we came at a good time (5pm) because it was still pretty quiet. Things very quickly picked up and it became very crowded and VERY LOUD. Service was excellent. It feels like we were constantly being checked on, yet our conversation was never interrupted. Truly excellent service. We started with some appetizers- the fried calamari and the hummus platter. Both were delicious, and I would definitely order either/both again. For the main course I had the special - the blackened swordfish with (I think?) a cucumber salsa and on a bed of rice with a side of seasonal veggies. It was PHENOMENAL. I could eat that every day. The swordfish was cooked to perfection. The salsa was the perfect compliment. I could eat buckets of that salsa. Compliments to the chef. I think this was one of my top 10 favorite dishes I've had in a very very long while. If you see swordfish on the menu, run, don't walk!!! All in all, we had a wonderful evening. Great food. Great service. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Really, a 3.5. We've been here a few times before and had been very happy with our meals. This time, not so much. I had the special, Crab encrusted Grouper. So over cooked and DRY! Even the steamed veggies verged on being over done. Not al dente at all. Hubby ordered pork chops. Too much bleu cheese and also very over done when he had ordered them medium. Also dry. Only bright spot was Tony, not our waiter, but he saw we were looking around for our server when we first sat down, looking to order a drink. Drinks were very good. He was perceptive enough to see that. Waitress, Debbie, was nice but a bit slow. Whoever the cook was tonight, he or she needs turn the burners down. No $10 tip for the kitchen tonight. Hopefully next time if they tweak some things.

Yelp
We had an excellent french onion soup! My husband called it heavenly. We with a group so we shared the calamari appetizer which was delicious and unique. We got oysters and they were so fresh. I was surprised at the level of freshness. The steaks were superb! I got the filet mignon which was perfectly prepared and juicy. Sometimes filets can be dry but that was not the case here! I got the Knight's 75 which was a refreshing and delicious cocktail. My husband lives for key lime pie and theirs did not disappoint. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Was worried if we could get a table for four without reservation on a Thursday noon. Thankfully, plenty of tables were available. Had grilled buffalo chicken salad $20. It was really good and such a big portion. Regardless, I was able to finish it. When we were there, the fryer was down so nothing fried can be ordered. But no complaints! Left very full and satisfied.

Yelp
We had a late dinner there and it was super delicious. The place wasn't too crowded, was clean and the food was good quality. The burger was AMAZING! Though u might say they could do a better job with their gluten free bun. It was soggy when it arrived and had zero height. They should look at Jolly Pumpkins gf bun. That would be a good one to use. We also had the chimichurri steak, and you can't go wrong with that one. It was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Also their house red cab wine was pretty delicious. So glad we went there last night. P.s.- Our waiter was also very pleasant and made our visit welcomed

Yelp
Decent food, but very pricey. Plan on spending $$$ if you have dinner and drinks. Balance of food and price has not brought us back in recent memory.

Yelp
We walked in last evening and were greeted very warmly. We were able to get a table and were seated right away. HOWEVER, upon being guided to the table, the hostess dropped the napkin wrapped silverware on the floor, which caused one set to unroll a bit. The hostess then picked up the napkin wrapped silverware from the very busy floor space and continued to our table where she then placed the napkin and silverware (THAT HAD DROPPED ON THE FLOOR) on our table as if nothing had happened. I was literally shocked and speechless, so much so, I couldn't even ask for new silverware and napkins. I asked my husband, did that just happen or did I imagine it? That little event ruined the whole vibe for the rest of the evening. Server was great. Food was great. Rest of atmosphere was great. But, I can't help wondering, do they drop food on the floor and just pick it up and serve it as well? Hmm, I need awhile to recover from this before I return.

Yelp
Knight's is back for curbside pickup. They have a few specials every day and a limited menu including the Kid's Meals. I ordered online on a Saturday night of graduation weekend. They told me my food would be ready in about 20 minutes. I pulled up on Liberty and they brought my order out promptly. Easy ordering and contactless. Had a great burger with their house made chips and Brussels sprouts. Everything was good. Don't forget to add a treat for the kitchen to your order.

Yelp
We spent the day hopping around Ann Arbor and stopped here for dinner. The atmosphere was bright and open. The bar had a cool shape to it and you could see and pretty much talk to anyone seated at the bar. The drinks were fantastic. He go a mule. I'm not a fan of mules. Dinner was delicious and the service was great. This was a super fun time!

Yelp
I only have a one star because you have to give a star. We had a party of 14 and the manager Matt was beyond RUDE. I would not recommend this place at all. Learn how to treat your customers!!! And Matt learn how to smile life is too short

Yelp
Been here a few times and the service is always great! The steak was cooked great, but every side we tried left something to be desired. Desserts and appetizers were great too!

Yelp
If you are looking for a steak with a side of steak, this is your place. Great selection of steaks and the waiter was spot on. Made a reservation, you probably will too if school is in session and you are hoping to have dinner. Beer list was solid, but the bourbon list is amazing. Be sure to plan an uber and get a "Knights Pour", which is an overly-generous amount of whiskey. Food was excellent, and portions perfect. Certainly a go-to spot for dinner on campus.

Yelp
Ordered Knights downtown through DoorDash while visiting our son. Best prime rib French dip I've ever had. Authentic, flavorful, prime rib, shaved thin. It was delicious. Au gratin potatoes were also amazing. My husband had the sliders and enjoyed them as well. I'm looking forward to visiting in person soon.

Yelp
Too loud to have a conversation, woefully understaffed, and the food was horrible. Underbaked rolls still raw in the middle. Wilted Salad greens, unseasoned steaks, and the desserts...Creme Brulee isn't supposed to have the consistency of joint compound and the brownie seemed to have been purchased last week from the Starbucks across the street. The kindest thing I can say is that our steaks were done to the right temperatures. Do better.

Yelp
The food was definitely good and the server was good as well. I had the Prime New York Strip with Potatoes Au Gratin and a Green Bean Carrot mix. My wife had Prime Rib and Brussel Sprouts with a Salad. The food had great taste. The Brussel Sprouts were truly the bomb. Got to get those if you try this spot. The portion size was adequate as well. Our only problem was when it came time for the bill. The initial receipt gave me one price and stated "There could be a surcharge of $3.45 if you use a credit or debit card." Didn't have a problem with that until the price of my meal changed by approximately $0.25 and then the surcharge was added on. When my wife asked how did the original price go up minus the surcharge no one could explain the calculation correctly. She was told by the manager "he thinks" the surcharge is 6% but mind you the receipt stated $3.45. And if you take our total bill the surcharge did not equate to 6%. A business that sneaks change for the top line is not a place we will visit again. People might just right it off but if this is done to all customers it definitely adds up. Yes, we came from out of town to see the Penn State v Michigan game. Thus the three stars..... Food and server easy four.....

Yelp
Excellent spot for a Sunday brunch. It's convenient to the University of Michigan and all of the shopping along State Street. They have a large all day menu, plus a separate Sunday brunch menu, both of which provided plenty of options. We had a crispy Buffalo chicken salad, and the chicken and waffles which were both fresh and delicious! Service by Andrew B was efficient and friendly. At about $20 per person (no alcohol), this was an excellent value and a wonderful place to stop.

Yelp
I'm not entirely sure why we went in here. I went on a bar crawl across Ann Arbor. I think we both were just drawn to it being called 'The Knights' when that was our high school mascot and somewhere there was a hint of irony in it maybe. The ambiance is nice. Sleek and modern. My friend had whiskey, I think. I had a strawberry something ale. I guess looking online there are a couple of these restaurant/bars in Michigan. I didn't try any of their food, though, in retrospect I should have just ordered a steak.

Yelp
We drive to Ann arbor, MI when we want to eat the best burger for miles! Knights has a nice outdoor area to sit and the burgers are moist and very delicious. The bun is toasted just a LIAN's put it all together & you have a great and nutritious meal! The French fries are super tasty as well! They are doing things very safe during this pandemic too. Lastly, the service has been spot on and they very helpful and kind! They have knowledge of the menu and have made great suggestions.

Yelp
We had the opportunity to eat at Knights for Valentine's Day with the family. My kids love steaks, so we thought we'd try this place. We ordered: Calamari & Popcorn Shrimp: this is flash fried squid and baby's shrimps with a wasabi-black pepper sauce, scallions, and toasted seaweed seeds. The batter was fluffy and was not over cooked. Highly recommend! Knights Cowboy Steak: this is Knights signature cut 22 oz Bone In Ribeye. Very juicy and made to order. I would highly recommend especially if you love steaks! Dragon Shrimp: these are 5 butterfly tail on jumbo shrimps. The batter is light, flash fried and tossed in a sweet General Tso sauce served with rice pilaf. Not greasy and flavorful. My daughter enjoyed it! French Onion Soup: this is full of flavor! If you live French onion soup, you will enjoy this. Overall the food was good. Just wasn't as amazing to me.

Yelp
This was my first trip to this location and I really enjoyed it. This place is a very nice 'tweener. It has the look and feel of fine dining, including a nice menu selection. However I felt very comfortable dining with my wife on a casual night out. There is plenty of meat and fish selections. We had a nice salad for dinner and while simple, it was just perfect. You will also fine sandwiches and ample apps to meet everyone's desires. The staff is very well trained and friendly. All in all this is a high quality restaurant sure to give you a wonderful experience, no matter what your evening plans may be.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of the original Knight's on Dexter so I wasn't surprised that I'd like the downtown location too. Whereas the original Knight's is a little darker and diveyier, with lots of wood paneling, the original carpeting, and more of a neighborhood tavern kind of feel, the downtown location, being a new build, is fresher, brighter, and just as busy! Although this location is definitely more students and families vs. the townies you find at the original location. Huge windows look out onto Liberty and Thompson street and make it feel very airy compared to its west side predecessor. But still on the menu are all the Knight's favorites you may have come to love--high quality, thick cut steaks, juicy burgers, crispy waffles fries, and more. During my most recent visit, I enjoyed an appetizer of potato skins, (delicious calorie bombs of potatoes topped with cheese and bacon) and, as a bit of a lighter entree, a caesar salad with the most tender, perfectly cooked salmon placed on top. Each were outstanding in their own way. Desserts are some of my favorite in town. The hot fudge cream puff and the brownie sundae are things I dream about on the regular. I'd get them every day if I could.
