I really wanted to like this place, but the food felt uninspired, lacked true flavor, and the atmosphere felt fatigued. The goat cheese burger was just OK, but it lacked bacon jam so the goat cheese was too dominate. The small fried onions were tasteless and overall it was a mushy, medium. My husband's burger came with a hard-as-a rock sweet potato that was overcooked, probably put down right when the burger was, which is a no-no. The ahi tuna nachos were overworked with sauce and chips, leaving the tuna buried - I dug it out so that I can get my money's worth. The ribs were the best meal, but at this level of steakhouse we should make our own sauce right? Don't get me wrong, Sweet Baby Ray's is a great retail sauce, but let's do better at Knight's! I cannot believe they actually serve Kraft macaroni and cheese on the kids menu, which isn't that good, certainly isn't good enough for a steakhouse of this caliber. With that, came the chicken tenders, but they looked like GFS. The Bloody Mary was tasty enough and the Irish Stout on tap was solid. So the bartender did a good job. The server was friendly, but lacked attention to detail. Hey, the group bathroom was clean, which is nice. Overall, we just didn't get the value we were looking for based on the hype. Perhaps the original location was better.
