Edit: I posted my review, few hours later, 2 positive reviews appear of the flavors I mentioned. Fake reviews by the owner to balance out real ones. Not a good look. Yikes..changed to 1-star
The atmosphere and service were great but unfortunately the food was a huge let down. Wings tasted frozen, they were not fried properly, had little flavor and all needed more sauce. We also received two broken wings, for a brand new place they should have better quality control. Fries were soggy and lukewarm, definitely not fresh. Did not look like other people’s review photos.
There was a lot of potential with the flavor choices but we expected bold, exciting, crispy wings full of flavors, with homemade sauces and dips, that knock you out. Maybe we went on a bad day, but we left disappointed.
Unfortunately, the saigon wings were definitely not proper saigon. Extremely fish saucy, missing flavors of brightness, no tang or zesty flavor or any spice to them. Just straight up fish sauce, it was borderline disgusting. Missing any aromatic base to create the sweet and savory balance saigon wings are known for.
Buffalo, severely under sauced. Overcooked. The menu picture showed them drenched in sauce the ones we received had little to no sauce. Not sure what the bayou flavor was supposed to be as they didn’t have much flavor at all.
Thai chili was tasty, but was expecting a bit more flavor. It did not taste homemade rather tasted like any grocery store sweet chili sauce with sesame seed added to it. No tang, no zest.
The drinks were tasty. Employees are kind, unfortunately the wings were mediocre at best.
