But would having a partner who’s smooth and rich, with the right sweet-salty balance be such a bad thing? This Richmond cafe will remind you that your relationship just needed some added spice, as you stare longingly at the nutmeg you forgot to ask for in your hot chocolate. "Why We Rate It: For the sea salt topping that makes us feel grown-up Knoops is the answer when you want a chocolatey hit without delay. There are multiple shops around London but our favourite is the Richmond location. Getting your drink to go and walking to Richmond Park is the move. You can choose the percentage of cocoa content, spices, and type of milk but our order is always 43% milk chocolate. It’s sweet but not cloying, so you still get hints of nuttiness coming through. "Knoops is a bright, airy cafe specialising in chocolate drinks for control freaks. There’s a percentage of cocoa content to match all your moods—like the extra sweet 27% white chocolate, brooding 80% extra dark chocolate for a hoodie pulled up around your face kind of day, or an approachable 43% milk chocolate. You can also add spices (we like nutmeg and cinnamon), choose whether you want your drink hot or cold, and select your milk too. They have spots all over London but our favourite is the Richmond location. There are a couple of stools inside, but getting your drink to go and walking to Richmond Park is the move.
