I went with my sister while she was visiting with her boyfriend in town and they were impressed by the spa and varying pool temperatures. It was incredibly relaxing and I wish we could have stayed a bit longer but they had a plane to catch! The staff was super kind and accommodating and allowed us to put the luggage in a sectioned off area. Towels, body wash, shampoo and slippers are provided. The outdoor deck was really beautiful and provided a clear view of Portland. I will certainly be returning🧖🏼‍♀️

As a family photographer in Portland, it’s so easy for me to work nonstop—I love what I do. But stepping into Knot Springs is the reminder I need that rest is productive too. The space is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. Whether I’m soaking in the springs, taking a sauna break, or just enjoying the quiet views of the city, I leave feeling like a more grounded version of myself. It’s a reset I didn’t know I needed but now can’t live without. Highly recommend to any fellow busy bees or creatives who need to pour back into themselves.

Absolutely loved Knot Springs. Taking a relaxing soak followed by a massage was just what I needed, and the herbal tea was delicious! I actually drank a bit too much of it, and even though I used the bathroom before my massage, I had to lose the last few minutes just so I could book it to the restroom, lol. Shout-out to my masseuse Fiona, she was wonderful. Everyone, enjoy the tea, but don't drink too much before your massage! I also didn't take pictures inside the Springs to respect people's privacy.

I came to Knot Springs for my birthday using a gift card and brought my mom along, expecting a relaxing and memorable experience. Unfortunately, it ended up feeling disappointing and unbalanced. While my mom received a thorough massage — including a head massage, foot massage, and overall attentive care — my experience was completely different. My massage felt rushed, lacked attention to detail, and did not include the same elements she received, even though we booked the same service. It left me feeling overlooked and frustrated, especially on a day that was supposed to feel special. The space itself is beautiful, and I really wanted to enjoy it, but the inconsistency in service made it hard to fully relax or feel like it was worth the price. I expected better communication, more consistency between therapists, and at least an acknowledgment that each guest’s experience should feel equally valued — especially when celebrating something personal like a birthday. I hope the team takes feedback like this seriously and ensures more consistency between guests. This could have been a five-star day, but unfortunately, it missed the mark

Ive only done workout classes here, have not tried the spa or springs but will have to come back and try. We did the Strength & conditioning class followed be aerial yoga right after and it was the perfect lineup for workouts. I definitely felt challenged by Abigail's workout and her energy really pushed me to go at it. She is an amazing instructor and also has helpful home workouts on her youtube channel! The aerial yoga was such a nice way to relax and stretch the body after the strength training. Sahar has a very calming and inclusive energy. Her approach is giving you the choice of shaping your yoga experience and how much you want to push yourself. She is an encouraging gentle guide! I would definitely take both classes again or any classes Abigal and Sahar lead.

What can I say about Knot Springs? I visited on a Friday evening, and unfortunately, it was very crowded. In my opinion, the space felt limited: there are only two small jacuzzis, two saunas, and one small cold plunge pool. There aren’t many places to sit and relax indoors, and each jacuzzi had about 8-9 people in it, with the saunas also being packed. For me, it was just too many people. That said, I will note that everything was clean, the staff was polite and attentive, and the view from the window was beautiful. This was a gift, which is why we went, but honestly, I wouldn’t pay that much money just to visit a spa. If you enjoy being in large groups or socializing, this might be the right place for you. Knot Springs has its pros and cons, and it really depends on personal preference.

Relaxation in the heart of the city! It smells good it’s beautiful. I loved all the plants. Staff are very friendly and helpful explaining services. The pools were just delightful and relaxing and I had the best massage from Alex. He had excellent intuitive skills and communication. It is a splurge that I highly recommend. No photos as it’s a cell free space which felt appropriate.

Much needed spa day! The space is so relaxing and everything you could ever need is provided! Beautiful towels, refreshments and a really caring staff. I had Michele as my therapist and she is so incredible. Michele is very experienced and made me feel so safe and comfortable. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!!

Yelp
I really was surprised by how much I liked it here. I'll just start with my complaints: water was quite dirty and smelled of chlorine. Locker rooms are tiny and everyone is climbing all over each other. I hope they can adopt some of the practices that Korean spas use. Also the bathrooms were quite dirty. Overall, I enjoyed the quality of the experience. The unlimited tea was very nice and I enjoyed the bath products provided. The steam room was nice and hot. The towels were great. I had a great massage at the end of my experience. Would return!

Yelp
I finally had the opportunity to visit Knot Springs with some girlfriends for a birthday soak. We did a group Pilates first then headed over to our soak. The Pilates was okay, it was super quiet and there were no modifications/corrections done at all. The soaking facilities were nice, the steam room is probably the steamiest I've ever entered in my life. Overall I think we paid $99 per person for our class and soak, the soak was nice but I don't think the Pilates was worth it. Knot Springs is kind of a one and done for me, there are other soaking facilities that are more bang for your buck.

Yelp
Nice modern spa for a relaxing treat yourself day! I've been twice and will keep going back - it is a little bit overpriced, but it's a whole experience. I got a massage and that includes some soaking time which is great. They give you towels, slippers, robes, etc and also provide herbal tea which is really good and adds to the relaxing environment. There are 2 hot pools and one cold plunge, a steam room, and a sauna. The body treatments are actually provided in a separate space in these sort of tent like separators. It's fine, but if you want a massage with no distractions then maybe this isn't the best place for you. You can hear the other massage therapists and customers in the other 'rooms.' Note that the layout of the locker room/bathrooms is a little confusing and there aren't really enough showers or toilets for the amount of people there are. For management: The robe/ponchos are weird. Just get some regular towel robes for folks getting massages. They also offer memberships but seems pretty expensive. It's a once or twice a year splurge for me, but still nice! I also always smell really good when I leave because they have nice products in the showers.

Yelp
This was my second time at Knot Springs but first time doing the couples massage. This experience was amazing - the staff is great, the springs are so relaxing, and the couples massage was incredible. Every aspect of the experience here is so relaxing and really allows you to unplug. My massage therapist was Laura and she was great. I am already daydreaming about my next visit.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for the first time and got the foot rub treatment. We really enjoyed the calm and relaxation of the springs before our treatment. I would highly recommend both the springs and the foot rub.

Yelp
My friend and I popped into Knot Springs while on a girls trip to Portland. While the smells, vibe, and esthetic are amazing, the place got really packed very fast on the Saturday morning. I was surprised at this because they regulate the number of people that are allowed in at a time. It got really crowded and kind of killed the mood about 20 minutes into our visit. We did have a massage treatment which was nice, but trying to return to the tubs afterward was too hectic so we ended up leaving. Love the concept but for the price and size of the place, they should really cut down the number of bodies allowed in at once to preserve the environment!

Yelp
I had a delightful time at Knot Springs and found some moments of relaxation. The eucalyptus-infused steam room and the cold plunge pool were my favorites. Also, the stunning views and luxurious feel of the vicinity. However, there were a few things that slightly dampened the experience. The layout of the locker room and showers felt disorganized and confusing. With the coed locker room and only a few split showers and bathrooms, it was a bit chaotic. Additionally, there is not any private area for changing. Some clearer signage or guidance would have been helpful, as the pools weren't clearly labeled. My biggest gripe was how challenging it was to fully unwind at times as there was a lot of loud talking. Each room/pool often felt like stepping into a business executive boardroom. I came to Knot Springs to escape from these conversations! Having quiet time blocks would be much appreciated.

Yelp
Saw this recommendation on tik tok and would highly recommend! For $89 (on the weekends) you get a 90 minute spa experience (not including any additional massages). But the spa itself had so many options from the sauna, the hot tubs, steam room, and cold plunge. I was too nervous to do fully go into the cold plunge but the people who did loved it! When you walk in, you get a brief tour of the area from the staff and they assign you a locker where you pick your combination. The provide you a scrub and point you towards the showers to get your experience started. What I liked was that if you wanted, there was a board that recommended the order in which you should approach the different pools/rooms. Everyone was super friendly and it's a great place to come and relax especially after a long day of hiking.

Yelp
You can see that this place is a bit old and neglected. I tried to shower in 3 different showers. Each had very low pressure and the knobs were falling off the wall. The curtains were damaged and dirty. The towel I got was torn. The service upstairs was not pleasant. I asked for a cold towel and never got it. The lady said it was frozen and never gave it to me. She put them back in the fridge. We paid $69/person for 2 hours. After my experience I think it is not worth it.

Yelp
Uhhh I barely know what to say besides AWESOME. 1st showers awesome. Body wash shampoo conditioner awesome. I have eczema and ofc am sensitive to everything but my skin is like a baby. Tea awesome. Everything is great worth my $90 for 2 hours. Provides towels and shoes

Yelp
Loved the whole experience! Everyone was really nice and it was clean and well maintained. My mom didn't love that her massage was in a tent and she could hear the people on both sides of her, but mine was in a regular room. The only thing we didn't love were the "robes" that are open on the sides. Also be aware the locker room is co-ed, but the bathrooms with some of the showers are separate. Tim gave a great massage and Alex was did my foot rub, he was amazing! My mom and sister had facials and said they were the best they had ever had.

Yelp
Such a beautiful establishment. From the moment we were greeted at the front door, to entering the soaking area and then our treatment, everyone was lovely. The soaking area and saunas were so relaxing. Our couples massage was phenomenal. Highly recommend checking this spa out!

Yelp
I've been waiting for a place like Knot Springs in Portland for a very long time. Having lived in Europe for several years, I was spoiled by some of the state of the art spa facilities available for soaking and relaxing. While Knot Springs isn't perfect, it definitely fits the bill until something else comes along. Located in the Central Eastside, Knot Springs offers stunning views of the river and city below. The contemporary architecture employs stainless steel and concrete to create a sense of vastness that is tempered by natural wood elements and greenery. It really is a beautiful space that makes you feel special as soon as you enter. For me, Knot Springs is all about the stunning pool area and hydrotherapy features. A two-hour pass grants access to the Springs, dry sauna, steam room, hot tubs, and the cold plunge. The saltwater pool is the perfect temperature, and surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows offering gorgeous views. I love the contrast between the serene setting inside the spa, and the hustle and bustle of the city outside. They offer hot tea in the pool area, as well as towels and wraps for your comfort. The staff are friendly and accomodating, and dedicated to making visitors feel comfortable. I've received several gift certificates from friends for massage at Knot Springs, which I've yet to use. I'll update my review when I experience those services. But like I said, for me it's all about the water. I'm a big fan.

Yelp
Just visited this spa. Parking is difficult so had to pay the $20 for the garage and it isn't validated. Front desk said the springs are down at check in but may be fixed by 12:30. Wondering why I didn't get a call so I didn't come 1.5 hours ahead before my treatment. Said they would give 20% off but no one could give me proof with a credit shown to my credit card. Finding the spa upstairs is not easy and no one directs you which room to go to. It was quite crowded for early Wed afternoon and mostly 30 and under crowd. Women's changing area is small so it is crowded as everyone is called at the same time for treatments so everyone is changing at the same time before and after treatments. They give itchy ponchos for the service instead of robes which is strange for a spa that is suppose to be comfy and relaxing. The massage was the best part as it was a nice service and my provider did a great job.

Yelp
I had an hour massage after a 75-minute soak, sauna, rehydration experience. The premises are beautiful, and I had a phenomenal massage with Julian. I walked out of there so happy and relaxed. Definitely ask for Julian - that was one of the best massages I've ever had.

Yelp
I don't have many photographs of the interior because phones were not allowed in the establishment. We were gifted an experience for Christmas so we decided to book after Portland's ice storm. We had no expectations and thought we may get bored during the 90 minute session. But that was far from the truth! The staff was friendly and provided easy instructions on where to change and what it offers. We decided to follow the regimen that was listed in the area for kicks. Each area had something that leant to the overall experience. The place was also super social all the customers were welcoming talkative or if you wanted to be solo and reflective, you could do that as well. The only feedback that could be worth mentioning was the steam room. It looked like the lights were broken (only 1 small working light) so when the steam emitted you couldn't see an inch in front of you so it was a bit claustrophobic. The sound was also deafening at times. If you stayed long enough you could get used to it but both took me by surprise. My biggest hurdle was the cold plunge. It's more of a mental challenge vs a physical one. It took a little coaxing but I was able to do it twice and stay in between 3-5 minutes which was a good goal for myself. You actually do feel wrapped in warmth once your body gets used to it. I enjoyed the two types of tea that was offered. I also liked the sauna. I'm a fan of Knot Springs. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated!

Yelp
This was my first time at a spa and receiving a massage. The service here was amazing and every staff member we encountered was very helpful. We arrived early and had a lot of time to checkout the different areas of the spa before our couples massage. It is on the more pricey end, but you get a beautiful view of Portland and the massage was wonderful. Definitely recommend!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Some nice ambience points with the plants and views but also some stressful/inconvenient parts that led to the 3 star review. Parking was tough! Only 2 hour or loading zone spaces within a couple of blocks. Public transit would be preferred or bike to arrive. Confusing labyrinth of a facility with lots of hallways and stairs. Unclear directions from staff. Steam room offensively loud and overstimulating. Changing area has no where to set items down/ change with privacy. Lots of mixed gender folks close by and difficult to settle in comfortably. Poncho that is loaned for stay in spa is huge and itchy. It was almost 100 degrees the day of my massage treatment and they kept requesting I wear the poncho. It did not cover the entire sixes of my body not to mention it was uncomfortable. Massage was decent but the massage therapist was venting about how disconnected the front desk/welcome staff is with the spa. Not a great vibe for relaxing. I have been to several spas and would not recommend this one. It is trendy and not quality. Definitely not worth the hype.

Yelp
We arrived in the parking garage below Knot Springs. We had to take the elevator to the third floor for the reception then we had to go again to the fifth floor for Services. Once we got checked in we got a wristband and walked to the area where the pools were. There was a lukewarm pool, a hot tub, a cold, plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna. There was also a desk where there was either hot tea or cold water. They provided silicone cups for us to drink out of there were also hand towels to use. The river mint tea was absolutely delicious. The locker rooms were coed and then you could go change in the women's room area or the men's room area. I am surprised that the locker rooms were coed, but it was not a big deal. They had showers with rain faucets. That was really nice. They had shampoo conditioner and body wash and you could take a shower with a curtain and then dry yourself off and change in the same area, the massage was absolutely fantastic amethyst exactly every muscle of my body and knew where to hit. She is literally the best massage therapist I've ever had. I would definitely come here again.
google avatar

Bree X.

Yelp
I liked my time at Knot springs, but it could have been more relaxing overall. Pros: beautiful views (went around sunset and it did not disappoint), friendly staff, nice products. Cons: the shower area is small and somewhat disorganized, and the locker system isn't the best either. The main room is also small and got a bit crowded. There are people trying to relax quietly, and there were also people having loud conversations. The sound that the steam room makes is really really awful. I may return, but I have a feeling I will find a place that suits me better.

Great place to spend with a loved one. Love the different water available. Full showers and nice towels.

Yelp
I was in Portland for a few days and we decided to make this our first stop. It was a rainy day and relaxing inside is just what we needed. Kinda small and a few pools but they limit the number of people. Cold plunge was fun too!
google avatar

Citlali A.

Yelp
Maybe like a 3.5 if I'm being honest. The springs were pretty cool, very millennial kind of vibe with views of DTPDX. Smelled strongly of chlorine, but tbh I kinda didn't mind. This is not exactly a "zen" kinda spot, more likeee maybe sports rehab kinda feel? Hard to explain, but overall pleasant. Basically less peaceful Sauna vibes, more social chilling vibes, but still totally doable solo. I also got a massage that I found a bit underwhelming to be honest. The therapist was friendly and it felt pretty nice but unfortunately was very unrelaxing-- lots of talking through out even though I mentioned at the start I like it pretty quiet to unwind. The first 10 minutes were divine, but then once the convo started it felt rude to ask them to stop, but it really detracted from the experience hearing some potentially pseudo science kinda stuff. Super nice person, just a little too chatty. Something to maybe make really clear if you're having a treatment here where the prices (and thus gratuity) are quite high (and I'm saying that as someone coming from NYC lol). Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was nice.
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
Not a great experience. Chaotic locker room, small pools with groups of people who come to socialize and sit in a hot tub. I was hoping for a relaxing time, and the room is loud, all hard surfaces and no sound dampening. The pools are small. I had booked two hours for the pools, and left after 20 minutes. Absolutely cannot recommend.
google avatar

Mary Anne K.

Yelp
I ordered 2 body washes they sent 1. Mistakes happen I emailed them no response for a week. I called and emailed no response. Its been a more than a month since they took my money and are too busy to respond. I go to the springs regularly, but after this I will taking my business elsewhere where. Everett house is way cheaper and more inclusive!
google avatar

M K.

Yelp
Booking system is atrocious. You have to sign in to see if anything is available and it doesn't let you see how many are left. They only allow YOU to book ONE at a time so your friend has to log in at the same time and book one. You never know what's left or available. You may book the last one and your friend would never know til it says sold out. The soaking area is alright but not for the price and headache. Prices already increased 13% since 9 months ago.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. It definitely has potential, it's a really cool concept but unfortunately others ruined it. You walk into the locker room, they give you a locker and a towel. Take your shower and head into the springs. They have a couple different options of pools and a steam room and sauna. They also have water and tea. Again, really cool concept. But they need to limit the amount of people in the space as well as there noise level. There was a group of women hogging the tepidarium and being really loud. The whole place already echos but with those ladies it was just too much. I was waiting for a staff member to go over and let them know they need to tone their voices down a bit but it never happened. Maybe it was a one time thing, but for $90 I wouldn't go again unless they could enforce a noise limit. I came to relax, and that certainly didn't happen today.
google avatar

Yelp
Not recommended; underwhelming; unclean; unprofessional and after many visits and time spent I caution anyone to waste their money or time here, it's not a wellness facility. Do not be fooled by the paid influencers marketing this business. Try out other conscious places that offer real wellness services with healthy professional staff. Below 1 star

Yelp
Love coming here to relax. I try to come at least once a month. Always kind and welcoming and love how I feel after a good soak.

Yelp
Great relaxing place and excellent service. Money well spent. Wish this existed in Seattle!

Yelp
Interesting spa. The location is central and the facilities are decent. We took advantage of a few services including the spa and massages. The spa space was decent, though pricey for the offering. The massage though was exquisite. We were both very happy with the massage service, we would avoid the spa portion in the future. This would be a 3 start if not for the massage.

Yelp
During our visit to Portland, my girlfriend and I were excited to check out The Knot Springs. We decided to go for a couples Swedish massage which also included access to the springs. Our experience started with a refreshing cleansing exfoliation shower before we headed to the spring area. The relaxation process involved moving from the Tepidarium to the Caldarium and taking breaks to cold plunge, with stops at the steam and sauna rooms in between. This sequence of steps helped to increase circulation, reduce pain, and leave us feeling rejuvenated and less stressed, thanks to the alternation between heat and cold water. After following these steps, we had a relaxing time sipping tea or sparkling water while enjoying the amazing views of the Portland city until it was time for our Swedish massage. The massage session turned out to be another relaxing treat, and the masseuse applied the right amount of pressure to relieve the tension I had from my work environment. Overall, I highly recommend visiting The Knot Springs if you want to reduce stress and feel refreshed.

Yelp
Checked out this place after I super long bike ride. The pools and attention to detail were great. There was an attendant wiping down excess water to keep it aesthetically pleasing but he was never intrusive. They had tea and water stations available. Also booked a massage with Christopher. AH.MAY.ZING!!! He applied the perfect amount of pressure and would go back for sure anytime I'm back in Portland
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on a Wednesday and there weren't too many people. The place is clean and they provide towels and sandals which is a nice touch. The cold plunge is a must.

Yelp
Welp.. if you're looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating spa day, skip this place. It was a disappointing experience from top to bottom. Called to book a facial while I was in town. I asked if extractions were included and was put in hold. She came back on the line and said she couldn't confirm but "she thinks extractions are included." Ok... I inquired about the facility and hoped to work out before the springs and facial, but the gym is for members only. Upon arriving, I got checked in downstairs and was not provided a wrist band that allows access through specific doors and areas. They told me the springs staff is expecting me and provided directions through the maze of a facility to get there without a wristband. I arrived at the springs area and was eventually allowed in after they questioned why I didn't have a wrist band. This is also when I was told no cell phones are permitted in the springs area, so no headphones for music podcasts etc. (Even tho I heard rumors that this place is shown by tons of tick tock users?.) they had music playing though, and it was not my reference nor was it relaxing while blended with loud conversation throughout the space. Walked in to a crowded area and to the lockers. This area is nearly fully exposed and co-Ed with only two private bathroom stalls to change if you desire any privacy. Ok... fine... got changed into my suit and waiteddddd for the one single shower available as several others files through (they ask you to rinse off before going into the water facilities). The warm/hot/cold pools were fine. The sauna was fine. The steam room is awful--when the steam comes on it's loud and scared me the first time LOL. The patio chairs outside and the chairs inside are all uncomfortable. Finally it was 10 min til my facial and staff walked around to others to let them know it was time to get out, rinse and prepare for appointments and services. We were offered these stupid ponchos that don't cover your sides. I was told there are snaps on the sides... I can tell you that there were no snaps... it then Felt like we were herded cattle as we grouped together while names were called and people filed out. We arrive to a tranquil room where we were to wait for our services. The masseuses and aestheticians came to get us one by one, yet I sat there waiting. After 10 minutes into my appointment time, someone came to ask if I was being assisted. I said my aesthetician never came, so she went to retrieve her. Over 20 minutes into my appointment, I was finally brought back to the room begrudgingly by someone who clearly thought she was going on break as no one informed her she had an appointment scheduled. The facial itself was a let down for a $250 price tag. And surprise.. no extractions for that price! After maybe 30 minutes of service time, I left to go back to the locker room and change in front of the 40+ people there in that small springs room I mentioned earlier which again, is co-ed. Went downstairs to check out and informed them that my facial was half the time it should've been... they offered me a 20% discount. I told them that doesn't suffice, and they said they would have their Customer Service Manager contact me instead. It's been 60 days and I never got a call (bonus: i also never got A CHARGE TO MY ACCOUNT) so instead of one star they get two for not royally screwing me and charging me full price after a half of a facial and a terrible afternoon at Knot springs. Thanks for reading my novel.

Relaxing time. Soaking times book up fast so make sure you book your reservation weeks in advance.

Yelp
Knot Springs is my favorite spa and gym in Portland! Beautifully curated spaces, stunning views of the city and so many different offerings, between soaking, group fitness and yoga classes, massages, facials, etc. there really is something for everyone. I will be bringing every visitor to Knot Springs with me!

Yelp
My experience here was a pleasant one! I was looking for something relaxing for my boyfriend and I to enjoy for our trip to Portland during August of 2022 and found this little gem on the Mindbody app. I had booked the springs visit, so it was $59 per person for a 90 minute visit. This includes getting access to the springs, sauna, steam, hot tub, and cold plunge. When we got to the facility, there was street parking available, and the entrance was fairly easy to find. The ladies at the front were nice and professional, giving us the necessary materials to check-in and then gave us the run down on how the facility works. We got these cute waterproof wristbands that gave us access to our lockers, where we were able to store all our belongings, and it could fit a lot to be honest. We were planning to have a full day exploring that day, so we packed ahead for those that are wanting to do the same. You're instructed to wash off first before heading to the springs, where they do have a large sign in the middle with instructions on how to navigate the areas. For example, you'll do the tepidarium first then hit the caladium (hot tub) next; followed by the cold plunge then the sauna. However, you can essentially go to whatever springs you want in any order. There is also a water bar up front, where you can hydrate, and then even a nice outdoor patio to relax and rest. We definitely felt like jello after our visit here; calm, collected, and rejuvenated!

Yelp
Weirdest spa experience of my life. My husband grew up in Eastern Europe and so is a sucker for saunas of any kind and we booked a spring pass for our trip to Portland tempted by the hundreds of TikTok videos we saw. All were misleading! This isn't really a spa as it is a wellness facility health club and gym, which means it's packed full of regulars coming from the gym, etc to dunk in the different pools. Usually when we go to a spa the place has clear capacity limits when booking to ensure that you have a relaxing experience. Not here. There must've been 30 people plus in a single cramped space. While the pools and Finnish sauna was nice, there is only a single shower located outside of the area or an ice cold dunk pool which I personally disliked. The pools are also made of stainless steel which while aesthetic is a weird choice of material. Felt like we were being boiled in a giant pot. The steam room also has this terrible shrieking sound when pumping steam into it that is the opposite of relaxing - it's frankly deafening. There's also only wire framed seating at the springs so nowhere to really relax. But the worst is the lack of service by staff: Cups and towels abandoned everywhere, the floor soaking wet, and hardly any fresh towels to be found. There seemed to be no one refreshing towels or wiping the floor which again is so odd. The lockers are co-Ed which is super uncomfortable and both sinks in the women's restroom were broken! When we finished and I was drying my hair with the single hairdryer provided which died so I had to leave with wet hair which during winter which sucks. I was debating getting a massage but was glad I opted not to. Maybe it was like this because we came at around 4pm on a Monday (there was a discounted rate for earlier in the day which may be nice as maybe it's less packed). Either way though, I wouldn't return for the current price. Such an uncomfortable experience when it really should be rejuvenating.

Yelp
Overrated and overpriced. They try to cover up their greedy business tactics with they/them buttons and wokeness. I can't believe my husband and I paid $500 for our disappointing massages. Afterward, we said "well at least let's go back to the steam room and enjoy that for 15 min before we leave" and when we went back in, they said "Sorry. Technically you've left the spring to go to our spa so you can't get back in unless you repay the spa fee again.." Our minds were blown. On top of it all, the staff were pretty stuck up. They were stand off-ish and acted as if every question we had for them was a bother. This place was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. Save your money, light up some candles at home, and take a bath instead.

Yelp
Had an amazing time visiting Knot Springs with my girlfriend on our vacation. We went about 3 days into our week trip to refresh before going hiking and it was incredible. Gotta check it out! My favorite part was the eucalyptus steam room and of course the massage to top things off. *Chefs kiss*

Yelp
My partner took me as a surprise. I got a strange vibe from this place. I kept hitting my legs on the sharp metal edges of the tubs. Its quite small. I expected more for the price. The salt scrub is a tiny shot sized thing that I could even cover my legs. It smelled good though. As a biopic I was comforted they had employees of color. However I heard the owners are racist, so I'm not going back. OVER HYPED! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Yelp
Definitely a fun experience, although I don't know that I'd go again. I do really like all the amenities that you can enjoy while you're there. They have different types of water and hot tea on tap, and they have luxury bath products to wash with which is really nice. There's a little bit of confusion when it comes to the springs. The pools aren't labeled, no one really told us where to start or what to do. However, we mostly just spent our time in what I think was the mineral water pool. The views were spectacular. Overall, I'm really glad I went, even just once. It's a great treat during these cold winter months.

Yelp
I loved my experience here! The staff is friendly and the facilities are absolutely amazing. There are salt scrubs that you can use for your showers and I liked that I could get a variety of hot teas to sip on while I was in the springs. It's a very calming experience. I also got a massage from Gallagher and he was fabulous. I felt so relaxed after the massage and like my stresses all melted away. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
My experience here was wonderful and I will be coming back! I got a CBD/deep tissue massage and it was well worth my money! Was welcomed from the start and shown where everything was, given a locker and some salt scrub, and off into the shower I went to get ready for the springs. when I asked questions about what to do and where to start they were more than welcome to answer the questions! The springs/water immersion therapy area was AMAZING! the cold plunge felt sooo great after soaking in the hot spa and looking out at Portland. They had multiple tea and water options available and cold towels for the sauna and steam room which were also so relaxing. I was told a few minutes before my massage appointment to head out the springs and get ready for my massage, which was so amazing I can't put it into words. The person doing my massage was excellent and well educated and very helpful and open to conversation or just peace and quiet. Thank you for the great experience! I recommend coming here! Weekdays are best.

Yelp
Something to love and also some serious drawbacks. I am obsessed with the experience of Knot Springs. With that being said, I have some negatives to add: First impressions matter. When I joined as a member, I showed up Day 1, 6am, ready to go. I couldn't enter the facility. Apparently a welcome email didn't hit my inbox prior to my day 1. Not sure if that's an automated thing.. it definitely should be. But anyway, a key code to enter was not provided in ample time. So, I drove all the way there. Waited 15 min. Then was locked out. Drove home. Throughout my time there, I enjoyed the springs, the gym, the saunas, and the patio. I occasionally attended a class. I would often do a 6AM arrival to beat the crowds. Mid-way through my membership, they changed the rules of the flip flops from "automatically providing flip flops" to " you can request flip flops". This grossed me out beyond belief, as some people would come into the springs area with their own shoes which could be from outside. Hello, bacteria? Hello, sidewalk poop? It would've been much nicer if they required you to use their flip flops. The showers were always well cleaned and maintained. The music was also always lovely!!! Here's where the last impression counts too: I accidentally left my gym shoes there the last time I went before my membership expired. I went the following day to retrieve my shoes. The staff appeared to be very disorganized. I waited 30 minutes to get my shoes back, and some of the staff had no idea what I was waiting for, they were just chillin' chatting with their fellow staff members. Anyway, it was decent. Is it worth the money? Eh, not certain.

Yelp
I was a firsthand witness to shockingly racist encounters between one of the owners and an employee, who happened to be one of the few minority employees in the vicinity. It is disheartening to realize that this business remains oblivious to the profound effects of unjustly accusing a black employee of theft, especially within a semi-public setting. The implications of such actions extend far beyond mere embarrassment, as they pose significant dangers and betray cultural irresponsibility. Regrettably, the pervasive tone of arrogance rooted in ignorance often characterizes the leadership of corporations, leading to a pernicious influence that permeates the entire organizational culture. In the aftermath of these distressing events, I felt compelled to confide in another employee, whom I knew through my sister, and who had been employed there for a considerable period. I recounted what I had witnessed, and to my astonishment, she revealed a company email circulated the year before, advising sensitivity towards the feelings of white employees in discussions pertaining to race. This revelation left me utterly appalled, as it exemplified an alarming level of ignorance, stupidity, and shamelessness. As a result of this disheartening revelation, I have firmly decided never to patronize this business again. The realization that I had unwittingly contributed my hard-earned money to an organization so lacking in sensitivity and moral consciousness fills me with profound embarrassment.

Yelp
Excellent offerings ranging from personal training and fitness classes, to soaking and massages. If you want the most life changing massage experience, I highly suggest a Thai Massage with Miles. They are highly experienced in their craft and are very intuitive with what your body needs during treatment. The fitness instructors are all very knowledgable and friendly. The fitness/soak visits are an excellent way to try out Knot Springs if you are thinking about signing up for a membership and want to feel out if the offerings are right for you.
