Love the hotel scene and they have great food. Outdoor patio is so beautiful

We got our meal 50% off because our server was terrible. Upon arrival we asked to sit outside, on the “deck” which was open & had others eating there already, she rolled her eyes, & said “ugh, I guess so.” & acted as if it was the most annoying request imaginable. After being seated, we got drinks & did not see our server again for 20 minutes. After ordering, another 35 had gone by before our food arrived. We asked for two other drinks & never saw her again. We ended up having to come inside to get our bill to pay, because our server never came back. I loved the deck, absolutely beautiful. Food was good, & I do appreciate the manager for the discount. We will consider going back, hopeful of better service.

I only pop for a quick drink, no interaction with any staff, so went to the bar and asked for the menu, ordered and took the drink myself. The atmosphere is good.

Beside me having the worst Mojito I have ever tried Knotty deck and bar was the perfect happy hour spot if you want something quick and light. I had the seasonal bruschetta and it was honestly pretty good. The bread was toasted perfectly, the goat cheese really pulled it together. My server was delightful amazing service even when I asked for my drink to be remade she stayed friendly and understanding. Just a wonderful experience

Google
decent hotel restaurant. food was ok but service was lacking. The only reason we came was the Titanium breakfast voucher. The voucher only covers $26 per reservation so it doesn’t come close covering breakfast for a party of four. The prices are what you’d expect from a hotel restaurant so the voucher doesn’t even cover two people. It’s a little tacky that they add 20% service fee before taking off the voucher but I get it. I understand the voucher system is probably a property decision and not specifically the restaurant. The portions are large and the options we picked were hearty so you could share. The breakfast service was very slow even though the place was at 1/3rd capacity. I feel bad because the waitstaff is clearly understaffed. They barely have time to take orders, bring food and drop checks. Good luck with refills and extra condiments. Waitstaff are frazzled and rushed. We went two days in a row with the same experience both weekend days. We even had to wait to be seated the second day when they were less have half full. They said it was because the kitchen was backed up. The Texas theme is amusing if you’re from out of state. It’s probably a decent chill place to get drinks if you’re there for a conference or event. I wouldn’t go unless you’re stuck in the hotel for a convention. Even then, order out or go out to experience better food and service.

My wife and I decided to get away from San Antonio to spend someplace quiet and relax poolside for a weekend. Having Knotty Deck and Bar at the Renaissance Hotel was convenient and great. Food was very good and a good sized menu. Our first meal took a while and the fries were cold. Asked for new fries and by the time we got them we were almost done with the meal. All other meals and services were great.

Google
Here for work trip and wanted a quick bite. Bartender recommended the wings. Really great choice. I told them extra crispy and they did just that. You won’t be disappointed. Very well decorated and it has a patio for the great weather .

Google
Amazing service and even better food! It's extremely convenient to eat here when staying at the hotel. There is plenty of seating, as well as bar seating, and an entire outdoor deck that has great views. Everything about this place was 5 stars. I would definitely come here again even if not staying at the hotel.

Google
The deck is nice. Do not go if you are in a hurry. Took an hour between sitting down and food arriving. Ordered the double smash burger and fries. Got the burger with brisket instead but after an hour did not have time to send it back. Burger was overcooked but then since I didn't order it I didn't tell them what temp. Took almost another half hour after they cleared my table to get completely checked out. Will not be back.

Yelp
I stopped here after a work event because I'd missed lunch and was starving. The waitress told me the brisket nachos would be a lot of food and boy was she not kidding!! This kitchen & bar is located inside of a hotel, so parking is free and it's a great option if you're staying at the hotel or attending an event nearby. The nachos were delicious, but I'd highly recommend sharing them with several people! It wasn't too crowded, but I definitely felt like the waitress was focusing more on people sitting outside as it was nigh on impossible to track her down for the bill and to get a container. She was very friendly, but mentioned she'd only been there ~2 weeks. I'm not sure how they section off the area for different guests, but I do wish she had been more present as I spent quite a bit of time waiting. There was a singer who came by later in the afternoon/evening, so I'm sure that would be lovely to enjoy with dinner. As far as seating, it's a bar, several high tables/benches, booths, and individual tables...plus even more seating outside! Food was very reasonable priced and I'd absolutely come back, but I think next time I'll just sit at the bar.

Yelp
Fish taco - right amount of everything. So good. Seasonal pasta with shrimps - feel like it's light even though it's creamy and heavy. So so good.

Yelp
Love that the restaurant is apart of The Renaissance Hotel. Typically, for anything food related for hotels, the food is overpriced. But in regards to quality, it actually is t to bad and they have good meals. I've tried their award winning mac and cheese (excellent choice). If you add shrimp to the salad, it's an additional $7, but you only get 3 pieces of shrimp lol. You can also add chicken for $5, but not sure how much protein will be added. The shishito peppers are a great app, some of the peppers have a kick to them, some of them don't. The side sauce that comes with the peppers are fantastic! If you decide to go for breakfast, their meals are hearty and servings are pretty big. Service can be extremely fast or slow, just depends on how slammed they are. But even if they are slammed, all staff is super professional.

Shelly Y.

Yelp
The deck is lovely. The food is good, but the service is terrible. They don't have enough servers, so it's not the server's fault. Visited twice during my stay and both times I waited over 10 minutes before even getting a menu. Once I did get 'noticed' the wait time for my food was also very slow. If they can speed up their service I would give a higher rating.

Yelp
I was in the mood for a burger so using Yelp to find the best spot, I came to Knotty Deck & Bar. It's located inside of a hotel. The lobby was very clean and smelled divine. The restaurant has open seating so I sat near the bar. I could see outside to their deck with outdoor seating and lounging furniture. My server was extremely polite and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the Knotty burger which also has smoked brisket. Y'all!! It was soooo good!! They even brand the bun with their name which I thought was a nice touch.

Yelp
The staff of the Knotty Deck and Bar make the place special. Personable, friendly, helpful, agreeable and creative--if I had a restaurant here in Austin, I would want to steal them away. In alphabetical order, Christian, Karli, Kathleen and Tanya were our special helpmates. They made great suggestions, attuned to our tastes. They made us fabulous drinks including improvising on one occasion, which they delightfully took on as a team project. One staff person went out of her way to be especially helpful to us. They were kind, jovial and conversational. They laughed at all of our jokes--and even sincerely! They were just wonderful. (And a couple of them created for me some of the best spicey jalapeño margaritas ever.) We spent one warm, surreally beautiful night on the outside deck, filled with trees, the sound of cicadas and magical light. Tanya recommended a perfect meal for us including amazing Brussels sprouts (even checking with us for our glazing preference--"light" was perfect), BBQ chicken wings with blue cheese dressing, some nice fish with amazing sides and a delicious tortilla soup. She brought us lovely wines--a red and a white--to match. It was a heavenly night for food and ambiance, made possible by our special friend of the evening. Leaving this AM for San Antonio and just had a fabulous breakfast of perfect omelet with just about everything (beautiful veg!), hash browns a little underdone as I like them, and gorgeous fruit including the world's largest raspberry which I could not bring myself to eat as it should be saved for world records. It was really a wonderful breakfast. Kathleen was our server and with goodness, humor and cheer attended to our every need. Saul, from banquets, came to check in on us as things were shutting down. Again, truly superlative staff here, lovely place, lovely food.

Yelp
2 hours for some sweet potato fries and a steak! Service is horrible. No one come and check on you. Just disappointed even start at this hotel. Won't come back.

Yelp
This is an average hotel restaurant and bar. I dined here once for dinner and once for breakfast while on a recent business trip. Service was quick and friendly. Staff and other hotel guests do not wear masks, but totally expected in Texas and did not bother me. I had the Knotty burger for dinner and it was not your regular ground beef burger. This burger was a brisket burger and surprisingly tender, juicy and flavorful. I wouldn't mind dining here again the next time I'm in town, but sadly don't plan to stay at the Renaissance Austin again.
google avatar

Yelp
The Knotty huevos was amazing. Large portion and great combination of flavors. Can't wait to go again.

Yelp
I had lunch during a conference today with colleagues and my boyfriend. I was expecting the long line so I grabbed us all a table early. our waitress was absolutely rude. I caught her rolling her eyes as she was asked questions about the menu and as she passed out our drinks she didn't want to walk around the table so she sat the drinks down for us to hand out. She had such a snippy little attitude the entire time. Perhaps she needs to find another line of work! ON TOP OF THAT, my boyfriend's plate was delivered to him with a long black hair on his chicken obvious to everyone! So gross! He got up and found a server discreetly and asked for a new and fresh plate of food. He was a trooper because I would've gotten sick!.. Of course nothing was comped and I will not be spending any more money there!

Yelp
The food once you get it was great. The service on the other hand was horrible. It should've taken 45 minutes to an hour to get your salad when the restaurant was basically empty. Now the evening service with Gabriel/ Gabe was fantastic he deserves 5 Stars.
google avatar

Jeff O.

Yelp
Food = 5 stars Service = 4 Stars Ambiance = 4 Stars The Salmon dish is so tasty. The cauliflower puree was a great alternative to the usual mashed potatoes. The Chorizo was a great addition to the plate. Adding all those flavors together made the dish so yummy. As for the service. They were kind and generous. 5 stars to them. The ambiance is 3 stars on the inside. 5 if you sit outside with the view.

Leslie C.

Yelp
Can't speak to the food, as we decided to leave before ordering. This is a hotel restaurant and does not have any unique offerings.
google avatar

Yelp
we meet there monthly with a large groups. the space is great & a nice deck with a fire pit. unfortunately the bartenders are the most un accommodating ! they are angry all the time & seem annoyed by people lol food is decent. nice nacho plate at least.
google avatar

Missy Q.

Yelp
Love this place and we are locals but sadly the hotel now requires $20 plus sales tax (total of $21.65) to park. So they've lost two loyal customers.

Kaylie M.

Yelp
What a let down... whatever you do, don't get the nachos to-go. I ordered them without guacamole & pico, received a box of chips with a side of queso and a tiny cup of fatty brisket drenched in grease. No corn or bbq aoli. And definitely not the same portion size as seen in the photos. Very disappointing

Yelp
I stayed at the Rennaissance hotel and when I checked in after my flight the desk clerk recommended this place. The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio with a view overlooking the area. I liked that they had a nice drink menu with some cocktails, wine and beer listed. I went with a local beer which was delicious. For my entree I went with the seasonal pasta and added shrimp. The portion size was perfect. The server was friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

Gabriella K.

Yelp
Worst service we've ever experienced ever, which is sad because the food is very good. Won't be going back there again unless and until they replace their entire wait staff!
google avatar

Regine M.

Yelp
Came here for drinks on a Thursday night and didn't realize it was a bar/restaurant within a hotel. They have happy hour from 4-6 p.m. but it's only for drinks, not food. If the weather is nice on your visit, I highly recommend sitting out on their patio for the great view.

Sam M.

Yelp
Good food. Really enjoyed the pancakes. Decent mixed drinks. Really nice atmosphere. Understaffed at peak times.
google avatar

Yelp
Decided to check this place out for our anniversary brunch! What a treat. Started out with the brisket nachos! Flavorful and outstanding! I had a Bourbon SideCar and my wife had the Mango Margarita! Both were a hit! Decided to share the fish tacos and BBQ Carrots. Yes! And the kids had the in house Mac and Cheese! All very good with very good service! Will be back!
google avatar

Jordon S.

Yelp
Really solid breakfast here at the hotel restaurant. I got the omelette -- it was very fresh tasting and was also a good, health-sized portion. Loved the jack cheese inside. I also got a pancake - excellent pancake indeed! My dad got the eggs benedict (okay, boomer). No, it actually looked super super good and he said it was awesome. Biggest issue with this place: the price. With that being said, you kind of have to expect that for it being a hotel restaurant. But, yeah - it was steep, especially for breakfast.

Ăłį H.

Yelp
During our stay in Renaissance hotel we orderd Nachos, burger, avocado toast and salad. Nachos chips were soggy and old, burger was not the best, avocado toast had way too many salt flakes making them unedible and Salad did not come with any dressing. Overall rating 0/10, youre better off doordashing food to your room then ordering anything from this overpriced restaurant.

Yelp
Came out here for a Friday dinner with the family and had a fantastic time. We booked on Open Table where much of the recent reviews were terrible and for good reason, the waiter explained they don't use that because they don't have a hostess, so just a heads up. Even with the low reviews we gave a chance because of our love for the Renaissance hotel. Very delighted overall. Server Andrew was fantastic, very funny and great service. Kept us filled up the whole time on drinks. Live music was playing and decorations were a nice touch. Mac n cheese was delicious and a one of their well known dishes. Fish tacos were very small and alright, nothing too special. Overall was a great time and loved the experience and being back in the Renaissance. Was expecting a lesser experience because of reviews, so it was a pleasant surprise!
google avatar

Shea R.

Yelp
I'm attending a conference at the Renaissance and must suggest this place. I had dinner here last night, and again tonight. They are a little short staffed, but who isn't right now? I sat at the bar last night and got amazing service, and sat at a bar top tonight. I got the knotty burger and the bruschetta last night, but TONIGHT!? I got the bacon jam burger (suggestion from Ruben) and it was outstanding. The bacon jam has perfectly rendered pieces of bacon that add the most beautiful texture to the complex favors of the burger. You must ask for Ruben. He took care of patrons everywhere, never missed a beat, and was an absolute pleasure.
google avatar

Diana H.

Yelp
Surprisingly really good appetizers and a nice outdoor deck. This is mostly a convention hotel, so no hip factor. Used to be grand but now a little dated -- but the food was fresh and well prepared. This review is for food only.
google avatar

Brandi P.

Yelp
This location is inside of the Renaissance Hotel. I don't recommend the hotel, but I recommend this restaurant. My sandwich was fresh and tasted great. What was really amazing was the HUGE bowl of fruit I got as my side. I asked for no melon and I got a bowl full of pineapple and berries, Yummy! I was actually able to save some for breakfast the next morning. My coworker got a Caesar salad and it was GINORMOUS! She said it tasted great! Not bad for a hotel restaurant.

Spherical C.

Yelp
Amazing food and great drinks, but more than that, the service is FANTASTIC!! Carly and Ram at the bar are some of the best bartenders I've ever had - attentive, accommodating, and they make delicious drinks. I chose to stay in at the hotel almost every night of my stay because I knew for sure I would have a great experience with them taking care of me. They both deserve a generous tip and a raise! Worth stopping by just for a delicious cocktail and to say hi to the amazing staff.
google avatar

Blair V.

Yelp
Their wild boar ribs I would definitely come back for. They were juicy and flavorful with every bite! The organic oven roasted chicken was my least favorite of the meal. Flavors were muddy and nothing stood out from the dish. The duck was tender but was an unnecessary component to the dish. I suggest it shouldn't be on the menu. My fiancé's rib eye steak was over cooked. He ordered it medium rare but it came out medium well. The potatoes that came with his dish was very good, so good I had to steal a few bites. We also tried their Mac n cheese which was nominated as 2018 best Mac n cheese. It was pretty flavorful but definitely a side dish to share.

Yelp
This area is seriously a hidden gem! it's very pleasing to the eyes and I love the aesthetics matching the holidays. I love the atmosphere as I sat outside on the patio drinking my Prickly Pear Margarita, so freaking yummy! The inside was stunning. Our lovely host (forgot her name) gave some excellent recommendations, we started with the Knotty Tacos and Wings and OMG, I can eat just This and be fully satisfied!! It was so delicious and cooked to perfection. I wish me and my party didn't split the apps because it was so good. I order the NY Steak Medium Rare with a side of Broccolini. Can I say YUMMY!! The manager Robert spoke to our table and made sure we were enjoying everything. He explained they were going to remodel the patio soon and change some things. I enjoyed his conversation and we ate and enjoyed our food. When dinner ended, we took some photos by the Christmas Tree, Santa's and more. I highly enjoyed this place.
google avatar

Kris U.

Yelp
This review is regarding brunch. The menu is varied so should have something for everyone. I had the tasty chilaquiles. Entree portions aren't large so consider getting a side. The bowl of fruit looked great with a variety of fruit including melons and berries. The real star of the show is the lovely patio area which will be great to enjoy in the Fall weather. In the middle of summer, not so much...even so they still had a fire burning in the large fire pit! There's plenty of parking in the large lot, so need to valet.
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp and thought I try it for a birthday brunch. My company used to have its annual conference here at this hotel so I remember the patio being nice and spacious. When we arrived here it was a bit strange. Nobody greeted us and there wasn't anyone behind the bar. We looked around and we finally located a server. She was the only one working at the moment. We definitely felt for her. She found our reservation and we were seated with drinks. She was very nice. I think I would be stressed out and overwhelmed if I was the only one working. So hats off to her being awesome. We ordered appetizers while we tried to decide on what to get. I didn't know that we could only order from the brunch menu as they do have a lunch menu too. We were informed that on the weekends they only serve brunch until 3pm. Oopsy! We ordered our entrees and the wait for them was worth it. The food was really good! Especially for a hotel restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and I really enjoyed the ambiance here. Atmosphere is a 10/10.

Yelp
Visiting Austin to go wedding dress shopping with my future daughter in love. She suggested we try Knotty Deck & Bar for lunch. What an amazing time we had. We sat outside & enjoyed the patio, drinks, service & food. A most when I return.

Yelp
The bulgogi fries (Knotty Fries) were absolutely bomb. A little cold when they came out but the sauces mixed with the perfectly marinated bulgogi beef made me cry tears of marinated joy. Also Andrew (don't call him Andy), was the best server and made me laugh more than a few times.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
We came for breakfast. It was super basic. We ordered eggs Benedict and an omelette. Both were ok, nothing spectacular. Hash browns were brown on top and luke warm inside. They don't offer breakfast drinks like mimosas or bloody marys. We asked to be seated outside and we're told the manager said they couldn't seat anyone out there, even though there were already two parties on the deck. I should've known this is the experience we'd have as it's a hotel restaurant. Lesson learned.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
You're probably here at the Knotty Deck and Bar because you're staying at the Marriott not because you drove here to dine. We were seated promptly but the food took forever and it was not crowded on this Thursday night. Food was not brought out by our waiter who seemingly has disappeared. Our water glasses are empty and we can't eat because no silverware and can't catch the waiter's eye. Food was better than average. Water glasses filled when the bill was delivered. Waiter disappeared with credit card and bill and was gone again a very long time. Still tipped 15% but left aggravated. 3/5 because of food quality only.
google avatar

Penny R.

Yelp
We are local residents always looking for someplace not tourist crowded with good food & drinks and service. Knotty Deck & Bar meets that. Shane & Ruben took care of our cocktail & dining needs. We'd definitely come back. Katie Marie was awesome entertainment We enjoyed chatting during her break and will follow her around Austin.

Yelp
My partner and I had the most amazing service from Ruben. His energy is beautiful and he is funny, down to earth and great at his job. I ordered the blackened fish tacos and devoured them in less than 10 minutes. My partner ordered the Knotty burger and he loved it as well! There was a live singer there as well and she was just astonishing. Anyway, the entire experience was fascinating and Ruben was divine.

Yelp
Excellent service delicious food beautiful views. My husband and I were visiting Austin for the weekend and were very impressed with our experience here.

Yelp
Wow. Came for just a mimosa and stayed to try their brunch food and I'm pretty impressed. Even the server is super sweet and friendly.

Yelp
Excellent view of the Texas Hill Country, nice deck/patio seating. Great service and a menu that is a bit kicked up and very nicely adventurous, but unfortunately my pork chop was over cooked and lacking in flavor, it looked like a TGIF version. Needless to say, we tried a little of everything. The pork belly app was really nice, the other entrees were pretty good, but I think the grouper was a little over done as well. The shrimp and grits were very good, Shrimp cooked perfectly and nice flavor. Lastly the "Elvis Cake" tasted really good, but I'm missing the point of calling it Elvis, since it was chocolate cake with a tiny bit of banana and a small chunk of peanut brittle, tasted good but don't get the reference

Yelp
The Renaissance Hotel is beautiful and the staff was fantastic-- super friendly and accommodating from the moment I walked through the revolving door. I attended a private Yelp event that was held at the Knotty Deck and Bar. What an amazing venue! From the uplighting to the view from the deck... It was beautiful. Some of the food I tried: pork belly lettuce wrap, brisket taco, watermelon shooter, shrimp and grits, fried pig ear... Everything was great, fresh, flavorful and just well done. The drinks were also flowing y'all: red and white wine, soda, water, signature drinks and local beer. There was a live [local] band that added to the already amazing atmosphere and they were incredible! Food Group was the name of the band. Overall, it was an awesome night at an awesome venue with awesome food, drinks, Yelpers and entertainment.

Yelp
Visited here not during happy hour, or a yelp event, but just for a regular dinner. It turns out this is more a bar with a full menu, that just happens to serve pretty good food. The highlight of the experience is probably the outdoor deck looking out into the valley, in addition to the firepit. A circular wooden table around the pit is convenient for sitting and having a drink, or even a spot to eat dinner. We tried just the small plates consisting of the knotty burger (made with 44 farms beef), shrimp and grits, and the chicken wings. Shrimp and grits - this is a great value since the serving is nearly what you get at many other restaurants for 1/2 or even 1/3 the price. Comes with 4 large shrimp and several pieces of smoked bacon. Burger - a gourmet burger that comes with either house potato chips or their homemade fries, but it doesn't come with lettuce or tomato. Brisket, onion strings and good quality smoked bacon top the burger and they use a local bun. I liked it. It's hard to go wrong with a burger from 44 farms to be honest anyway. Hot wings - probably the weakest item ordered. The order comes with 8 and they have a little kick, but no more than the habanero wings at wingstop. They were a little too bland and nothing really special. Thought they were the one menu item that was a bit overpriced. Service here surprisingly was not so great and took nearly 20 mins to get a waitress to notice us and give out a menu. I'd still come back just for the atmosphere alone.

Yelp
Looking forward to a good burger, I opened Doordash to start my search. After a long search, I chose Knotty Deck & bar. I placed my order for pick up and headed to the restaurant. When I arrived, I was notified that they don't use Doordash any longer. Since I had already paid, I left home without my wallet. You would expect that any good business would accommodate a Customer for the inconvenience of having driven all the way to the restaurant. They had a lack of concern, even with the restaurant still listed on the Doordash app and absolutely no one in the restaurant. In different to me being a future customer, Knotty Deck and Bar, just dismissed me and told me to contact Doordash. It's like pretty woman...BiG MISTAKE, I went to the Cheesecake Factory a block away and had a much better meal.

Yelp
This place has so much promise, but things went downhill from the moment we were seated. First of all, the one thing Knotty deck has going for it is the location, outdoor patio and scenery. It was a breathtaking oasis on the deck, complete with lounge furniture and an upscale firepit blazing. Our party of 7 arrived around 11 am for brunch and were seated outside. Service was SLOWWWW. And the restaurant was not crowded. What gives? We were the only table sitting outside yet our drinks and meals took forever to arrive. Two of the dishes (both shrimp and grits) arrived so late that they didn't charge us for them. Everyone else was almost finished eating at that point. My BLT was rather bland. I asked for a side of aioli and it tasted like nothing. There was no flavor to it at all. It was rather disappointing. Our checks were finally delivered after we moved our party inside because we were all roasting outside in the summer heat waiting for our server to come back. She forgot what each of us ordered so we had to remind her and once given the checks someone in our party actually went to hand deliver them to her because we had places to go and things to do. I'm actually surprised at all the other good reviews. Maybe brunch just isn't their thing.

Yelp
Food is not good. Bruschetta bread was cold and raw. Pasta sauce is so watery that it dripped literally. Service too slow.

Had breakfast when we stayed at Renaissance. I got the knotty eggs - just perfect even though I'm no huge Texas toast fan. Wife's omelette was excellent and kids silver dollar pancakes delicious. Highly recommend

Yelp
Pretty standard hotel bar, serving up beers and food most of the day, but the ambiance is nice and the outdoor seating provides a decent view and comfortable space to enjoy an evening cocktail. The menu has all the typical American fare, but the dinner plates are a little more upscale than you would except from a hotel bar. Lunch highlights include brisket sandwich, pork tacos, a grilled cheese sandwich with pimento on sourdough, pickled watermelon, roasted beet salad, and Texas queso. For Dinner, we mostly stuck with appetizers and smaller plates -- the spare ribs and pork belly are big hits, as were the shrimp and grits. We stayed away from the steaks, opting to save our meaty appetites for one of the many steakhouses in the area. Our lunch experience was ok, and our dinners were decent, there's just so much good food in the area that this place gets easily out done and kind of forgotten. But, if you're stuck at the hotel for a meal, you won't regret going downstairs for a bite. The staff is really great -- we stayed there for a week and the bartenders we had were all friendly and fast and had good recommendations when it came to the local beers they had on tap, which is always something I appreciate.
