Inside all chill and the lights are so dim wich made it relaxing. My first drink was Caught in a Jam. It was in this germanic cocktail glass,. Made with Old Forester 100 Proof, disaronno americano, lemon juice, and apricots and bubbles. Perfect balanced apricot flavor with a slight sour fizz finish. Right after some munching on LUC LUC Chicken Tacos. They were mouth watering and savory but could improve on the size. I wish there were larger but oh well. After that, a second drink of one of the non alcoholic drinks. Then to end my night, A nice glass of cabernet franc with a basque cheesecake. I wish it had a sauce topping on it. 3 weeks later I head back with my uncle. Enjoyed bah mi sandwiches, drunken kettle chips. What could use improvement is a side of aioli enough to coat the olives and kettle chips. First drink: Deco-Colada. Made of coconut oil washed rum, clarified pineapple and lime juice, curry leaf oleo, & coconut water. My uncles drink was an Excommunicado. Made of Atlas Reposado, brandy, cocchi americano. licor 43, mole bitters, and this indistinctive smoke thats the best smoke Ive ever smelled. Then we both got our second drink. the TRUFFLE SHUFFLE, made with wahaka mezcal, lemon, truffle oil. egg white, topped with truffle zest, and a parmesan crisp, who pouts that into that. I think next time there should be a truffle pasta dish that can pair with the truffle shuffle. Shoutout to YANCI and Joe for their great hospitality, I wish I was bartending there.
