"This sleek minimalist interior draws sushi fans like bees to honey. Whether it is a classic salmon maki wrapped in a soy crepe or a more inventive sushi of smoked eel and red beetroot, Junko Kawada effortlessly combines purity of flavour with cutting-edge Japanese precision. The offer is varied and also features sashimi and salads, without forgetting a knockout range of teas to take home and sushi lessons." - Michelin Inspector
Fresh, creative and beautifully presented sushi. Kou’zi combines top-quality ingredients with delicate flavours, and every piece feels special. Friendly service, cosy atmosphere — definitely one of the best sushi spots in Antwerp.

Bottomline: best place in town for real Sushi. My favorite spot to have both business lunches and meet with friends. Ideally located in the center, close to all the shops and the Botanical Garden.

So much more than just sushi. The food is refined and full of taste. It’s like they’re serving little pieces of art. They have unique desserts as well. Staff was friendly and swift.

Ko’uzi, does that mean « divine » or « exquisite »? It could because this sushi was phenomenal, and the lady who served was friendly & knowledgeable. What a delightful experience. I’ll remember this lunch forever & sushi will never be the same.
Merci!

Every piece of creative sushi is explosion of taste. Well presented great variety. Never been in Japan but already looking forward to it. Min point was on service. We had the feeling we had to eat very quick to free table for next guests. Simple sushi was no good. Little too soggy. I ordered tiramisu (out of curiosity on its Japan style) matched it with plum wine. I got wine but tiramisu was “sold out”.. so had to order some other desert. I ordered chocolate mousse since I did not want to drink my wine with ice cream... but just after one bite I was sorry. Suggestion: if you don’t have something on the menu inform your guests ahead.

We were extremely impressed by the aesthetically pleasing and delicious sushi with so many creative combinations on the menu. I loved that we could order sushi in individual pieces allowing us to try as much as possible and order more of our favorites. The restaurant is an intimate and lovely place to sit om a date, as a family or when dining solo. Already looking forward to the next visit!

Best sushi I’ve ever had!! What a great place. You can tell that the sushi is prepared with love. Top quality ingredients, amazing combinations and served with style. To top it off; staff is super friendly and wines of great quality. I really enjoyed sitting at the high table that overlooks the street in front of the restaurant.
You can also go here for takeaway. Even the boxes look amazing. Will definitely come back here next time I visit Antwerp!! Don’t forget to give a thumbs up if you liked this review :-).

Delicious, fresh creative sushi you are not likely to find in other places. It’s good for an occasional treat. Ordered the X box (50 euro) for takeaway, it’s a pity that personal customisation is not possible. Everything was well packed.

Yelp
It's different from real japanese sushi, however I like the style and taste. You can really taste the origin of each materials. Each sushi has very curious feeling in mouse, soft and hard.

Yelp

Yelp
If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. I finally found a sushi place in the area that knows the importance of the rice. Most of the places in antwerp think that just placing a piece of fresh fish on boiled rice is sushi when in fact the rice is what makes a good sushi place. The "alternative" rolls is a great way to showcase the rice and I'm sure the traditionalist will really like it. I can't wait to go back and try the sashimi and nigiri.
