Absolutely love this spot! The decor is stunning, with a modern yet cozy feel, and the attention to detail is unmatched. You can also book the space for events, meetings, or creative projects like podcasts or photoshoots – so versatile. Highly recommend stopping by. Such nice vibe and the staff is very friendly. Got their iced matcha with oat milk and it was really good. I love the African print inspiration and art. They have good WiFi and sitting ranging from bar seats to tables to sofas. Perfect for coworking. You can also book the space for podcasts, shoots etc.

Really loved the atmosphere, I could sense the urban culture! My husband and I happened to stop by during a group gathering and it really brought it home for us. The decor is cool and the drinks are delicious! I recommend the sunrise espresso.

I visited Ko Cafe in Jersey City for the first time on Thursday, March 7, 2024, for the Book Haven Books Silent Book Club Meetup. Since I had not been to an area of Jersey City outside of Journal Square for a long time, I decided to arrive at least an hour earlier. The park across the street is one I first saw more than five years ago. The service was beyond excellent. The staff were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The coffees were super delicious and the cornbread meat pie is truly the star of the menu. I love how spacious it is, and there is plenty of seating. Of course, I loved the library of books already in the cafe, as well as all of the African art and other assorted African items. I think I saw at least one or two items made using Kente cloth. There is a strong community/home vibe in the cafe. I was treated more like a friend than as a customer, and Tara, the owner of Book Haven Books looked very happy to have partnered with Ko Cafe for this Silent Book Club Meetup. I look forward to returning, as soon as I can.

Went for a walk and ended up here. Had a great coffee and a great almond croissant (really such a tasty treat). Vick was super friendly. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, amazing service, and high-quality coffee... you cannot ask for anything else. Plus, the place switches after hours for community events... I really loved the idea and commitment of the owners. Fully recommended!

This place is vibey af! There's plenty of seating, a standard cafe drink menu, and decent food options (salads, baked goods, yogurt parfaits). Just make sure you push the door hard when you're trying to enter. I swear it's not locked. 😆

Lovely well thought out cafe I now love. The co-owners were great to meet during my first visit. What drew me here was honestly the environment, coworking vibe, decor, & podcast room. Learning later that they also host live jazz music sold me officially. I look forward to more of this cafe! Definitely check it out. Be open to meeting people because it's a very comfortable atmosphere. Go, enjoy!

Walked in right as they opened at 8am for a morning cup of joe. I was welcomed by a barista, who I later learned to be named Ray. Ray was as cool as it gets with his vintage streetwear and throwback Jordan's. Once I walked in I liked the place, Ko Cafe has a modernist vibe to it. In addition, it provides workplace areas as well as books to read. I think a coffee shop with areas to sit and talk with friends are highly underrated as more places tend to be give and go. Most importantly, the coffee did not disappoint.

One of my most favorite & newest coffee shops in JC. Great quality and bold coffee! The staff is very friendly and take care of business! Love to visit sometimes when I am in between inspections and they have a cozy seating area where you can get some work done. I highly recommend and a great spot if you want to squeeze a little laptop work in!

I was visiting NYC, working remotely in my airbnb down the street and was craving a chai latte. Every other place I had tried on my trip so far used the dreaded Tazo Chai concentrate that sbux uses. This place blessed me with my first authentic chai. I met Ray who let me talk his ear off while he made my drink. I noticed how much care he put into crafting my drink and my sandwich and man it really tasted like there was love put into it. Chai latte was the best I've ever had and although i didn't see a croissant sandwich on the menu, he so happily threw one together for me. Idk what he put in it but it was FIRE. I'm bummed that I didn't get to work remotely there because I got too busy to head back but I'll definitely stop by next time. The interior was so cozy. Thank you soo much Ray. Really felt like I was talking to a long time friend.

Cool new coffee spot. Wi-Fi, oat milk, nice cultural snacks. The restroom is nice too. Great counter staff.

One of my fave new coffee shops in jersey city and is always hosting awesome events. Great coffee, great ambiance and amazing staff.

Really nice aesthetic ambiance that's uniquely signature. The barista was friendly and attentive during the entire exchange. The cold brew was good, not perfect, but solid. I also got a chocolate croissant (probably not what it actually is) and that was delicious. Great place to do work with calm music in the background and mellow vibes. The owners (I think) were also welcoming and attentive. They let me do my work but were quick to ask if I needed anything and let me know they were happy to have me there. I would definitely come here again, it's one of the only good cafes in Bergen hill.

Great place to get some good coffee, expresso or any coffee drink. Tried their espresso and took the opportunity to check out the space to see if it would fit my study needs. Great decor and Vic was a very friendly staff member. Keep it up guys!

So excited this place opened up in the neighborhood! Great space, they even have a kind of podcasting studio in the back.

Vic is the loveliest guy, making a delicious cup of coffee! We walked in after a hot day and he made us feel right at home. And, they are an after-hours production studio! What an amazing thing for the community. Totally recommend if you are in the Jersey City area and need a lovely pick me up
