I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for months and my husband and I finally made it. I had the BEST time! I loved the atmosphere and service was excellent. Our waiter was outstanding! We went for lunch and I couldn't believe the special. All you can eat! For an amazing price! I was very excited to try Korean fried chicken and I was not disappointed! The BEST chicken wings I have ever eaten. I loved cooking at the table and with the lunch special, there are so many options to try! We had the chicken, sirloin, pork chops, brisket and beef belly. All very good. This is my new favorite restaurant. I am telling all of my friends and family. You MUST try

This place is so much fun, love their food whenever I can get it: restaurant, delivery or the food truck. The meats can be cooked fresh on the table’s grill, or you can ask for some to be cooked in the kitchen and brought out. If not in the mood for traditional grill, my favorite dish is not on regular menu at the restaurant, but always at the food truck: the nachos. Best nachos in Beaumont if you want some creative flavors. Also great is the kogi burger and the sandwiches. Bar had good options too, and variety of soju and soju cocktails

Google
Food was excellent, we chose to cook our own at the table. More than enough servings we had the marinated ribeye . The beef egg roll are awesome our waitress got held up at the bar, so the manager waited on us to help her out will definitely be back.

We arrived right at 4:30pm and were the first table there. Unfortunately the service was super slow from the start. We had to continue to ask for refills and napkins. We asked for salt but that never come, they may not have table salt because there isn’t any on the tables. The egg rolls were good, dumplings my daughter enjoyed but the rest of the table did not. The rice cakes were good as well. My daughter enjoyed her fried rice, husband had the same but with shrimp and he said it was not the best he’s eaten. My son enjoyed his army strew? But said it needed some spice and salt. The kim Chi soup was not it y’all lol I had the noodles with the egg and it was okay. A little salt or some garlic/chili oil would have made it better. We are just used to foods being heavily seasoned and these just were not. They also have Korean BBQ which looked pretty good and come with quite a few things to dip it in (noticed as we were leaving) and wished we were given that option and we would have gladly paid.

Google
Bulgogi was delicious 10/10. Rice cakes was also delicious but I could care less for the cheese on top. Kimchi stew was pretty good didn’t have a strong base taste but together with the rice cakes and bulgogi, it was smooth going down. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in Beaumont. My entire me was only $33 with taxes.

Tonight was a great night here. It wasn't packed and the music wasn't too loud. It's a super chill relaxed place to gather with friends and family to chat and eat. We started off with the rice cake and pork dumplings. The rice cake was new to me. I like it but my favorite part was the mozzarella. The dumplings are really good just be careful cause it's served hot and fresh. The dipping sauce was amazing. Kimchi Stew - So much flavor, omg I just wanted to pick up the bowl and drink from it. It had just the right amount of spice. We got the Pork Combo A. Everything was marinated. The trick is to get the hot plate sizzling hot so you can get a good sear on both sides. Brooke was our waitress and was very kind and prompt with with service. Thank you for being attentive.

Google
Server was nice. Came in about an hour before close and they didn't tell us until after we ordered the food that they had closed down the hot pots and they'd cook it for us. Problem was they didn't give us any sauce or anything besides soy sauce to give it flavor. Ruined the entire experience imo. Everything other than that was good

Google
Everything about this place is AMAZING. My husband has been to Korea on Deployment 2 times and said when we walked in it is EXACTLY how it is over there. Food is so good, staff is incredible every single time. Very informative and management is also wonderful. Will always be a favorite for us 💓

Darla R.

Yelp
I was shopping nearby and dropped in for Happy Hour. The service and food are both excellent. I will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing f. It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth the detour. Very well decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere.

Bethany W.

Yelp
The service was great and the food was unique. The music is a bit loud and chaotic, but they're attempting to make it feel like the real street food experience. The menu can be confusing, so ask for help. They're more than willing to accommodate!

Yelp
The food is decent but I would only recommend this place if you had a small craving for Korean BBQ in the SETX area. I see a lot of reviews regarding their service but the two times I have been I had a great server!

Yelp
KO is tucked away near the mall but hard to miss when you drive by! The outside and inside are modern and eye catching, urging you to explore what's inside. Each table has two grills so unless you have a large party, you will sit near another group but they tables are incredibly long so you don't feel like you're right next to them. For our appetizer we had their bumpkins and Bulgogi pancakes. Our waitress Stephanie (who is absolutely AMAZING by the way) recommended the pancakes. Eager to see exactly what they were, we ordered them. They were almost like a Korean pizza and I could've eaten them all day every day. For our main dish, I had the fried rice and my husband had the cheesesteak. The fried rice is packed with flavor, it was so hard to not finish the entire bowl because it was so delicious. My cheesesteak was filled with meat and the bread is soft with a buttery finish. If you're in the mood for a sandwich, 10/10 recommend. To end the night we tried their flight of soju, it was hard to pick a favorite but my top four were: grapefruit, lemon, strawberry and mango. Overall, great environment, great service, and great food!

Yelp
July 7, 2021 Was in town from Galveston and went with my niece; she's been before. Ko is kin to Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse AND Pour 09 next door; FYI We went for appetizers and happy hour. Sat at bar...Seth was their new barkeep so, he was very friendly and fun but didn't know the menu just yet (no worries) We had the sweet corn appetizer with melted cheese (aioli) and mozzarella...DONT bother. It's literally can corn with melted cheese...nothing Korean about it...not sure WHY it's on the menu? We had the fried egg rolls with bulgogi (marinated steak) ...they were good and so was the dipping sauce, but they were almost burnt...almost We had the soju flight...soju is south Korean alcohol (16.8%) made with rice, wheat and barely...the flavored (fruit variety: grape, strawberry, grapefruit, mango, lemon) is the only way to go...the regular flavor taste almost like saki. Decor is on point...reminds me of the Korean markets Will definitely go back to eat more

Yelp
You've gotta try the sojurt drink! Also the the rice cakes are one of the best things I've ever eaten

Yelp
I love me some Korean BBQ and KO does it right! This is an awesome Korean BBQ establishment that has great food friendly service and everything you could possibly want from a Korean BBQ. One of the real stars here is their insanely awesome Soju selection. They make Soju cocktails and you can get tasting flight's. If you're even considering trying Ko Korean Grill do so, you wont regret it!

Yelp
Arrived an hour before close. Was informed by the hostess that they were not seating anymore tables. Called and spoke with a manager and he had ever excuse but no answers. First it was Father's Day rush, then dirty tables, then short staffed ect. Very unprofessional. I asked for a way to contact his boss and was told no, then was told to leave a yelp review and that would be it. So here it is. Hope the owner can do something about his staff wanting to close early.

Heather L.

Yelp
Love the food! Service is always great!! The ambiance is amazing and it's always clean.

Hunter S.

Yelp
Some of the food was still frozen but the marinated beef was so delicious. Highly recommend KO. Really fun experience.

Anny P.

Yelp
Wow! I finally don't have to drive to Houston for great authentic KBBQ!! Is the owner korean??

Beth B.

Yelp
Very poor customer service.!!! Management does not really listen to issues a patron has and walks away instead of dealing with the problems. I tried to explain my experience and he just walked off and completely disregarded my concerns.
google avatar

Amber Whackado J.

Yelp
Ate dumplings there last night the bar tender was wonderful the dumplings are a perfect 10 if you haven't been there what are you waiting for!!
google avatar

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Walking into the restaurant is an experience in itself. I feel like I'm whisked away to the streets of Seoul. The interior and exterior of the restaurant is second to none. The food itself is awesome!! Finding a food Korean restaurant I love is hard, even while living in Houston. My favorite is the Korean galbi and my kids always order the egg soufflé and japchae (glass noodles). If you're in for an authentic Korean experience, try it out!

William L.

Yelp
Having been to Korea this places food is amazing. Well worth it. The beef and pork products are amazing and well made.
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly. Service is top notch! Servings are huge!! Drive all the way from Houston to visit. Highly Recommended!!!

Yelp
Amazing foods and amazing vibes! I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. I drove an hr out of the way to stop by and grab some food.

Yelp
It was definitely an experience that I will never forget. Food was decent but service was horrendous. I wanted to start off with the service because I was just annoyed the entire time. The girl that served us was, I didn't get her name unfortunately lol but she was this Hispanic girl with long black hair and it was braided with glasses. She gave us ONE small ass ban chan for 5 people and ONE dipping sauce for 5 people. When we would ask for something I felt like we were bothering her. I asked for the salt that comes with the sesame oil and she gave me the salt shaker...she was too lazy to get the salt flakes..hence the ONE of everything. Just her whole attitude felt like she did not want to be there. When asking about the meats she didn't even know the difference between them. Very unhelpful. During our meal, in the midst of chewing our food with lots of uncooked meat and other food still on the table she asked if we needed to-go boxes like 4-5 times throughout our meal up until we left. She even asked if we needed the check! She proceeded to print out our check anyways and left it on the table and said "whenever you guys are ready". Came back several times to check if we paid and we did take the bill but it wasn't on the table and she ASKED for the bill! Like cmon...we literally aren't done... Our grill was never offered to be changed when it was black AF. I had to get the bus boys attention and THEN the server came by and asked if we needed anything. She was just a lazy, horrible server that was rushing us to eat and expected a tip. Definitely wouldn't recommend her as a server so that is mainly why I gave this place a 2 star. --Salad was delish, surprised I didn't get ONE for the 5 of us. --Korean Seafood Pancake (3.5/5) - Just fried dough cut into a pizzeria like slices. Definitely not the typical Korean pancake I've had but it was decent to me. I do like the crispiness to this --Cheese Corn (1/5) - I know it's just cheese and corn but I've had better. It was just very chunky and the flavors just weren't there. --Tofu Soup (4/5) - Flavorful with a hint of spice. --Beef Soup (3.5/5) - Meat tasted dry even though it's in soup. You can tell the meat has been frozen in the soup. Broth flavor was decent comes with clear noodles at the bottom. --Beef Belly (3/5) - Suppose to be a fatty cut but it tasted again very dry. I understand it's best for them to cut the meat when frozen but they were so stuck together the slices weren't coming off as a whole slice. --Pork jowl (5/5) - The best meat cut of the night. This was my husband and I's favorite. --Pork belly (3/5) - Also dry, I think they should cut the slice a tad bit thicker. Some were thick but it was inconsistent. --Marinated beef ribs (5/5) - Loved the flavor, can't go wrong with this. I would be back if I was craving KBBQ while in Beaumont. But of course you can't beat houston KBBQ.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst kbbq places I've been to. This was not bad because of the food because you really can't have high expectations for the area and type of population. But the service was absolutely terrible. Our server didn't know the menu very well. Literally there are 3 different types of galbi/short rib and when asked the difference she said one has bone and the other did not, we were like ok? But what about the third one? Her response was, oh, it's the same like the one without the bone.... So we are thinking so why have 3 different meats listed. She then continues to give us the check early, and when I say early, we just got our food and tells us to take our time. She comes by the table every 5-10 mins asking us if we finished the check yet and asks us if we need to-go boxes... but the grill is still grilling our meat. Every time she asks for the check, she's asking us if we need to-go boxes again while we are still chewing our food. Overall a terrible experience.

Yelp
My first experience with KO was with their food trailer at a festival. The person taking my order asked if I've been to there restaurant and I didn't know they had one so..... Wife, son, and myself went and we all enjoyed it. We ordered several different items so we could share and try as many different items as possible, everything was tasty and prepared well the staff was very nice.

Yelp
It's become a weekly ritual for us to go to Ko for a great meal. It can get busy after 6 on Friday and Saturday so have a drink at the bar while you wait or make a reservation the day before. Soju flight is fun to if you haven't had it before but I really like the selection of Japanese whiskies they have. The place has an excellent vibe and the staff is young and friendly. Best is the Korean BBQ you can grill at your table. Personal favorite is the marinated pork belly (samgyupsal) and marinated boneless short ribs (jumulyuk kabi). FYI - the recipes are from a Korean grandmother who visits the restaurant regularly to make sure everything tastes just right. The fusion menu is great too. If you're ordering take out, try the chicken wings with Ko spicy sauce, KFC chicken sandwich, cheesesteak, or tacos.

Andrew B.

Yelp
My wife and I have been several times since opening - highly recommend. As big fans of Korean food, we were stoked to hear a Korean restaurant was opening up in Beaumont - Ko lives up to the expectations. They have a diverse blend of authentic Korean dishes and Korean fusion - got to love kimchi, Soju, and Korean BBQ! If you've never had Korean food before, Ko will be an excellent start. Great service - owners/staff are highly personable as well.

Yelp
While evacuated for hurricane Ida, we found this spot thanks to yelp. The staff was so friendly the owner Abe came out to assist with our lunchtime grilling and taught the newbies how to grill. The portion sizes and dinner combinations had something for everyone to enjoy. My personal favorite is always the bugulgi...very tender and juicy. The meats were well marinated and delivered fast and fresh. Can't wait til they expand to Lake Charles, this will become my permanent evacuation spot. Thanks for the hospitality! Wish I had pictures, but trust me this is the spot.

Yelp
Super delicious food. I loved it so much that I ordered dinner to go. I will frequent this place often. Loved the Bibimbap.
google avatar

Mekalah A.

Yelp
A hidden gem that I discovered was KO Korean BBQ. It's not a big restaurant but it has enough room that you aren't elbow to elbow. The ambiance is also quite nice. This restaurant allows you to cook your own food or have the chefs do so for you! I got spicy pork, LA short ribs, and sliced beef this trio is enough for 2 to eat as it comes on a sizzling platter along with an assortment of small sides that vary day by day. Now I will say the Spicy KO wings were an appetizer however they could easily be a main dish, these wings blew my mind as they are perhaps the best wings I have had!
google avatar

Brandy G.

Yelp
Horrible manager that goes by Abram. Extremely rude and full of excuses. It's a shame because the food is usually good. Salad not so fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
i was dreading writing this review but I went to have dinner there last week on Thursday and I turned down the heat on my grill because I was afraid of it burning and the manager came and turned it back up and she said to not turn it up anymore and if I do she'll have the back cook it with a attitude and I explained to her that I turned it down not up due to the fact that I was afraid of burning my expensive meat! She just rolled her eyes and walked away . Later I seen her eyeballing me and pointing at me taking to someone and I felt really uncomfortable... overall the food was delicious But for sure surprised of management.

Courtney C.

Yelp
Food quality was wonderful and it has great atmosphere! I go often for special occasions, i always know it will be a good time and wonderful food

Shawn J.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. The modern and trendy decor felt like we were in a big city and we loved it! Our service was fantastic. The host and waitress did a great job. We decided to let the kitchen cook the meats, and it was delicious, but next time we will definitely want to cook at the table for the experience. S'mores were a fun and delicious touch to end the meal.

Cassidy S.

Yelp
Phenomenal experience. We brought our three and six year old with us, and the staff was so kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the drinks were smooth. Highly suggest.
google avatar

Kathryn C.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our lunch yesterday. Relaxing atmosphere, great food and great prices for lunch. Next time we will try dinner!
google avatar

Chrissy R.

Yelp
We had a great time and The service was phenomenal. The food was only ok and was insanely expensive. I had a sirloin special. Seasoning was good. The boneless short ribs were much better. Shrimp was ok. Corn appetizer was ok. The egg rolls were burnt and the meat was dry. The kfc wings were better. It was ok, but so expensive, I won't go back.

Ann K.

Yelp
The food was good for a kbbq place. Wished it was unlimited meats but over all great ambiance and food. Slightly on the pricier side when everything adds up.
google avatar

Daniela B.

Yelp
Wow this place is so awesome! I'm so surprised that there is a Korean BBQ place in Beaumont. Having gone many times in the DFW area, the experience is definitely comparable in terms of taste. The interior design is super cute as well, and the staff was friendly. If I ever have another trip back in Beaumont, I'll definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Heather L.

Yelp
I love this place!! The service is great!! Very attentive...so diverse! I don't feel like I'm in Bmt when I go here..which is a BONUS!!

Sabrina D.

Yelp
For starters just wish there was more marinated meats or sauces on the side since it is a bbq and the one I'm used to in Fl usually do. If there were we weren't offered any with our bbq. The food was great but the server seemed to be in a rush. My cousin had to ask if they were closing soon because of how she was acting. We enjoyed the Beef A bbq combo and the app sampler. Both were hits!! Bulgogi meat is always a fav of mine. And the mimosas are cheap $4! Pretty open scenery so no booths everyone can basically see each other and there's a bar in the corner.

Mandy W.

Yelp
Service has been spot on both times I have been, both at the bar and at the grill dinner table! The food and drinks are unique and great. The atmosphere is beautiful and spacious. Great spot for lunch at the bar or for a family/friend dinner. They have plum wine which is my favorite so I will be visiting often. Menu was great for lunch with appetizers and soups just when you want a solo lunch! Thanks for such a great experience guys!!

Xandria R.

Yelp
The food was decent, but we were a party of 8, and most of us had an upset stomach the next day, so there was something wrong with the food. They also tried to charge us an automatic 25% tip. We got the manager to fix it for us, and I think it was 15% after that. Super sketchy how they tried to overcharge us for mediocre service. The manager claimed it was an error....mmhmm!
google avatar

Eugenie V.

Yelp
First time to eat in this place recommended by a friend . Food was good . Service was prompt. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Bathroom is clean. The owner was very friendly. Highly recommended

Christian M.

Yelp
The staff was amazing, me and my wife stopped in because we had heard all about this place, however when the main course (that we paid $50 for) came out it was a small amount and everything tasted the exact same, between calamari lobster and shrimp there was no difference. I personally like the environment and people but the food is nowhere worth what you pay. ps. don't get the fried rice upcharge, it's just steamed rice colored brown. 0 taste!
google avatar

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
We had a fabulous time! Our bartender, Stephanie, was super friendly and attentive. Abe, owner, was also super nice. Drinks were great, definitely recommend the flavored soju. Three of us shared a bunch of the appetizers and they were all so good! We got full off apps and didn't try the grill part, but next time we will!

Brenna T.

Yelp
This is my first time ever to post a review on Yelp. I couldn't sleep due to my experience at the restaurant. We went here for my son's birthday. The wait to be seated was not bad. We ordered the creamy cheese corn, chicken wings, fried calamari, and the deluxe combo. I took a bite of the chicken wing and felt something funny and there was a long piece of human hair on the battered of the chicken as I was pulling the chicken out of my mouth. Disgusting! I felt sick and I kept drinking hot tea to keep me from being nauseous. I totally lost my appetite and couldn't eat anymore. I show the hair to the waiter, she said she will talk to her manager. She came back and said we will not charge you for the wings. Wow! $10 off a $200 bill! The manager never once came out to apologize or spoke to me! This is very unprofessional! Of course, I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere for my son's birthday so I tried my best to stay composed until the rest of food came out and my family finished eating. When I paid my bill, the waiter gave me a flyer for a 10% off the next time we go back. Needless to say, I will not go back to this establishment anytime soon, probably will never go back.

Samantha M.

Yelp
This is better Korean food than you'll get for miles around. Really a unique experience, and the staff was super friendly.

Tee S.

Yelp
Really nice service! We ordered multiple to-go meals and I was pretty happy that there were some vegetarian meals available. I think there was a mix-up, however and was given a pork stew instead of the tofu stew. That was pretty disappointing. Make sure you specify when you order if you have any dietary restrictions!

Kyra R.

Yelp
Very good food and scenery. I would love to come here more. The only thing is the space that I would have a problem with. I hope when you get to a good point you expand the restaurant

Jenny L.

Yelp
This restaurant brings an unforgettable dining experience. I can tell you this first hand, you'll walk into this restaurant that will put you as close to the neighborhoods of Gangnam. What I love about this place is the staff that brings it all together. Great service and friendly employees, and the owners may be out in the dining area cooking for you. Start off your meal with the Korean fried chicken wings, a watermelon soju, and some kim chi pancake. The salad is so crisp and refreshing. We enjoyed all of the banchan our order came with. And, as your starting to grasp the feel of this insanely artistic restaurant. (-after you've taken selfies with the neon signs,) come back to the table to grill the marinated galbi, and sam gap sal. Your appetite will crave more but feel free to try the other speciality meats they offer, it's different, it's good! You may wonder, why do I need to cook it myself? Well you don't have to, but the idea is to truly enjoy a great conversation with friends and have a good time. The Korean dining experience isn't an hour long, it's to laugh, drink soju, and eat. If you're on a lunch run or in for a quick dinner, you can request for the food to be cooked in the kitchen. I'm looking forward to my next day trip to Beaumont to dine here again.
