Booked one of their rooms through VRBO - paid the deposit - got multiple confirmation emails from VRBO. Koala tried to get me to cancel because they said they had a "booking irregularity" with what I booked, but I was still getting confirmation emails from VRBO. Koala then texted me at 3 am cancelling my booking. Now the resort the rest of my group is staying at is sold out and I need to find somewhere else to stay. But they offered me a whopping $150 credit towards a future stay with them. I honestly wouldn't trust them enough to book with them again.

Rented a room for a week through Airbnb that had issue after issue with amenities - water was shut off at one point and WiFi barely worked. When I contacted Koala they were barely responsive and utterly unhelpful. They told me I need to contact the hotel. The hotel wouldn’t talk to me because I’m not the owner. Just an absolute nightmare of a situation. No one would take ownership. Ended up reporting the owner to Airbnb and the hotel - it is a breach of contract to have their timeshare listed on Airbnb.

Koala was absolutely amazing to book a vacation with at Wyndham ocean walk! Natasha and her team are amazing! She went out of way to make sure my reservation was 100%. I needed to check in 2 days late and she helped me to make this happen! I will definitely book with Koala again! Thank you so much!!!

Stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom unit in Orlando. The resort was very nice and the condo very clean with everything as expected. We had delay our arrival a day due to a hurricane coming through but they were very accommodating. I was just notified of a refund for one night and I didn't even ask! What awesome customer service!

I am so thrilled with Koala as a timeshare owner of Shell points. I had a week at Peacock Suites in Anaheim that I forgot to cancel. I was within the penalty cancellation period, which would mean a loss of a significant number of my Shell points. Instead of cancelling and losing points, I listed it on Koala. It was verified within a few hours. Just a few days later, my week rented with Koala. I am thrilled with Koala. I have tried Redweek for the rentals I have for Peacock Suites and have had little success. I love that Koala has protection for me as an owner as well. If a renter damages the unit, the company has insurance to cover the damage. That's another worry I do not have. It's great for my peace of mind. With no upfront fees and the wide audience Koala seems to attract, I see no reason to use other rentals sites for my other rentals. I have now had 8 successful rentals through Koala.

Fantastic customer service! Its so refreshing to call and speak to a real, live person and be treated like they genuinely care. When the resort made a mistake on my reservation, Koala went out of their way to find a solution, even though it wasn't their fault. I would definitely book through Koala again.

***UPDATE Go Koala found a reservation for the dates we had previously lost due to a dishonest host. We are currently working with their customer service team to book this vacation and are looking forward to this trip.*** We had a very frustrating experience booking through Koala. Despite the website stating that hosts and listings are verified. In our case they were not (Due to a dishonest host who has since been banned). It was frustrating because this became known only after we paid, our booking confirmed and after we booked flights and a car rental, that were non-refundable. After all this the host then informed us the listing was no longer available. Which according to Koala they were not supposed to be able to do and we were left scrambling.
