There are some very good points about this restaurant. The bread, steak tartare etc. were great. The wine pairings were excellently chosen. But the soup was too salty, the main course was good but not breathtaking, and the pudding was OK with a mediocre basil cream. I would have expected more consistent food from a restaurant with a Michelin star. However, what disappointed me most was I was charged extra for additional bread and for a second serving of water (which I did not order and was poured into our glasses before I could say anything). I think this is unreasonable given how expensive it already is. Also, weirdly, we were never once handed a food menu and had to ask awkwardly about the cost of extras for the set menu etc.. The staff were kind and well-mannered, though, and knowledgeable about the wine pairings.
Overall, this restaurant has some good food and great aspects, but they missed the mark too much (especially in the quality of the food) for a place that charges very high prices.
