Google
1 star for Kohi Coffee Company. I expected more from the place — it felt a bit dirty and neglected. The service was terrible and completely unprofessional. While steaming the milk, the barista was scrolling through Instagram. The coffee was bad, I couldn’t even drink it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

You have to go inside the Revolution Hotel to find the coffee shop. There’s usually only one person working there, and it might take them some time to acknowledge your existence. Prices are a little high and surprisingly, they don’t have vanilla as a flavor option. They have counter seating; however, the counters are too high for the stools and it makes it uncomfortable. Plus, they’re too narrow to use a laptop. And this is the only coffee shop I know where the only sweetener they offer is Equal. I prefer Splenda, and hence, will go to one of the many other options in the area.

Kohi Coffee has amazing coffee and service! The barista Aziz is always exceptionally friendly and never fails to make me feel welcomed! He recommended the Nola latte and now it’s become my regular go to! He is also really great at latte art which is a definite plus! If you’re looking for a place to have some great coffee and service, I highly recommend coming here!

I got the cutie patootie latte which they said to have a lemon note to it. It really just tastes like an oat milk latte with no unique notes to speak of. For the price of 8$ this latte really felt over priced for the quantity, and didn't make up for that with quality. The atmosphere is a 3 just cause it in a nice hotel. Service has much to be desired. I haven't tried the other Kohi location but this one was not a good experience.

Really nice woman working the counter. Unfortunately the coffee was very mediocre and extraordinary expensive. $8.22 for a small latte with regular milk. Not horrible just not worth the price at all

We ordered a coffee and chai latte at 8:30am. The dude clearly didn’t want to provide any customer service. The chai was completely undrinkable, clotted and burnt. Love the hotel, but wouldn’t recommend the drinks to anyone. Nero is 0.2 miles down the road.

Kohi is a must-visit! The coffee is top-notch, The barista was super friendly and always smiling, which made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
The options to get good coffee in Back Bay are limited. Kohi easily beats out Greystone, Tatte, and other local spots on quality. It is small though and in a hotel lobby, so not really a place to hang out if that’s what you’re looking for.

Yelp
I noticed a couple of reviews reflected the same subpar experience I had in what I thought would be a simple transaction. Jamie W and I were taking a long stroll from the Museum of Fine Arts and thought we'd stop into the Revolution Hotel and see if we could get something cold to drink at this tiny kiosk. There was a barista who was juggling a personal phone call and sorting through the cookie packages. When I motioned that I was ready to order, he stared at me just to ignore me. When Jamie was ready to order, the barista responded back to him right away. When I said something else, he ignored me again. I asked for the $7.25 Iced Ube Latte (photo: https://yelp.to/OJiMd2O4K3), but he didn't acknowledge it. When I repeated the order, he snapped back that he heard me. Feeling marginalized, I let Jamie take care of the rest of the transaction. I don't know what aspect about me so offended the barista. I could guess, but why would he go into customer service anyway? DRINK - 3 stars...it was a decent latte AMBIANCE - 3 stars...the hotel lobby was hipster heavy SERVICE - 0 stars...I don't know which "...ism" he suffers from, but he mastered rude and surly TOTAL - 1 star...there are other places to get coffee RELATED - Exploring Boston? Here's my collection of places I've patronized and reviewed: https://bit.ly/3XtfnFc

Yelp
Fairly decent spot tucked away in this hotel lobby (where we were staying). The coffee was good, and they had a couple pasties that were appetizing. Prices are slightly higher than average, and that's the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go to Kohi Coffee Company for a while. Their location in Downtown Boston closes early, and is not open on the weekends, so its been challenging for me to go. This location just opened, and they have weekend hours which is amazing! EXPERIENCE I went one day after their opening, a Friday. Its really just a small nook of the Revolution Hotel. Theres one person running the whole operation. They serve variety coffee and mem tea. The seating is just the hotel lobby. Theres couches, and some bar seats, lots of graffiti style art featuring historical figures, and midcentury modern furnishings. The hotel has free wifi for customers. I wasn't a guest at the hotel, but no one seemed to have a problem with me sitting there for a few hours. I wouldn't say this is great for WFH or studying, as there is very limited desk space. I arrived at 1:30 pm. There was a sign that the barista would be back in 15 minutes, so I patiently waited. They were sold out of the breakfast sandwich, but that was fine, it technically was after breakfast time. DRINK (4/5) Iced Lavender Latte - Not too sweet, not an over powering coffee flavor. You can definitely taste the lavender. I really enjoyed this and would order it again. It is listed as a seasonal special though! FOOD (5/5) Cheesy Kale Scone - A great savory scone! It was quite large in my opinion. The kale bits are not too big. You can taste the cheese, and a slightly strong peppery flavor. It does not over power though. Not dry. OVERALL If you are staying at the hotel, this is extremely convenient. I would suggest this as an ideal place to stop by. Quick chat over coffee, or take it to go. Not the best for working, but it could be done. Coffee and baked good were delicious. I would definitely come here again.

Yelp
A buddy and I came in for coffee yesterday at 2ish. There was no one behind the service area. There was one person nearby and we thought she was a customer. After a few moments she spoke and said "I'll be back in 15 minutes." My friend and I looked at each other somewhat stunned, like who is waiting on whom here? Can't grade the coffee when there's no one serving you the same. Serious quality control and service training needed here.

Yelp
I have visited the Province town location a few years ago and had the best coffee. I'm was glad to see a location in Boston and it did not disappoint. The owners have curated a great staff that makes my trips to their shops enjoyable and satisfying every time.

Yelp
This is my least favorite Kohi location. The baristas are always grumpy and look like they don't even wanna be there, the coffee they make tastes bad too.
