Ice Cream Jubilee Opens in Ballston’s Quarter Market Food Hall | Eater DC

"I learned that Masako Morishita’s new Japanese comfort food company, Otabe, might serve Asian arancini, savory pancakes, and miso-butter peanuts when it takes over downtown incubator space Prequel on April 7 for a $100 Sakura night pop-up, in partnership with bartenders Al Thompson, Will Alvarez, and Heriberto Cassanero." - Gabe Hiatt

This space is amazing!! I’ve hosted two meet-ups here. Suzy is doing a fantastic job with making her vision come alive and creating a beautiful and affordable space for communities to shine. I’m excited to keep hosting events here!

Held a tea party here with over 100 guests and it was AMAZING! Marissa and Susie are the absolute best and made this event happen so smoothly and patiently. Marissa even helped me set up and brought my vision to life. If you’re looking for a stunning, spacious venue, this is the one!!! Will definitely come back to host more events🩶🩶

This cozy, community-centered, artists-welcoming spot is a hidden gem for those looking for a coworking space with a soul here in SF. It’s just perfect for a change of sceneries when we need a boost in the middle of a workday. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and informal, right in the heart of the historical site of Japantown. I strongly recommend it.

Super cool space that offers co-working and member spaces to collaborate in a third space with other artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives!

Koho has offered arts and community events for some time now, and are now launching their co-working space. I dropped by during their soft launch in May 2025. It was an airy space with amble seating, tables, and outlet access. I'm so glad to have this hub to work and connect with others in Japantown!

The Parangal Leadership Team recently used KOHO in San Francisco for a one-day retreat, and the experience was excellent. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed to have a productive and enjoyable day. The location is a huge plus—conveniently situated near stores, shops, parking, and public transit, which made logistics easy for everyone. We also appreciated that the space is dog-friendly, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. KOHO is a great option for teams looking for a well-equipped, accessible, and thoughtfully designed space. We would happily use it again for future retreats or gatherings.

KOHO is one of the gems in Japantown! Summer 2025 peeked thru after a performance at Nihonmachi Street Fair I knew it would be a great hub for future Parangal event. The ambience is so welcoming and one of best parts is the space can be designed to type of the event needs. Fast forward few months later we had a wonderful holiday event and amazing retreat. KOHO’s pillars speak for themselves Create. Connect. Celebrate. We look forward to future events. Thank you so much KOHO!
