Koi Bā

We happened upon this bar when the concert we were supposed to go to was closed, Sei welcomed us in warmly and made us some exquisite drinks. Such a beautiful bar and impeccable atmosphere, I only wish I lived closer so I can come back to try the food. Sei made us feel very welcome when we came in at a late hour. I’m very appreciative that even though we couldn’t go to our concert we could be treated so warmly by him

Great bar that’s on to something, I’d definitely come back if I’m looking for a spot in the area. I liked the intimate setting and how they set up the lights, it’s a good vibe. To drinks were constructed well and our bartender was great, amazing suggestions and explanation of the drinks. The giant koi of course is beautiful and adds to the mix. Drinks are a little pricey but it matches the area. I wouldn’t classify this as a speakeasy since they have a sign outside but it’s great nonetheless.

The bar is located in the second floor. Very small quiet intimate bar loved it!! The cocktails are amazing , it was a little pricey but worth it. Will def come back again.

Delicious drinks, a little expensive but worth it. Service and staff were awesome. We were there on a Saturday at 8, so peak time. The space itself is way too small, no standing room, and getting seating was really difficult. We luckily got two stools at the bar, but they turned away at least a dozen people, even though there were two open tables marked “reserved”. The whole time, nobody showed up to those tables. That doesn’t make sense at all. Oh well, I would come again on an off night.

I don't often say this, but here, my cocktail was well worth the price. I ordered the paper crane. Delicious for those that like the peat taste. Vibe was intimate and moody. Good spot to go for a first date.

There is a big fish lantern at the cocktail bar upstairs, so 5 stars for ambience. The cocktails were all flavorful and had a good Japanese twist into everything. Servers were great too. But the water cups are tiny

We’re so excited to have this new spot in the neighborhood. We went on a Saturday night and had the unagi and burrata rolls, both of which were delicious. We each had a couple of cocktails and we loved each one! The space was very cool and the staff was lovely, would definitely recommend

Intimate atmosphere and delicious cocktails, but the food was nothing special. We had the tuna tartare, which didn’t seem very fresh; the tuna was almost candied. The shrimp shumai’s flavor was good but the texture of the skin was gooey and soft, like it had been reheated. If we go back we’ll stick to the cocktails.
