Let me tell you, KIMYO Omakase (formerly Koi Omakase) has quietly become our absolute go-to omakase spot in the city. We’ve been 5–6 times now and it’s consistently fantastic. The fish is always incredibly fresh, the rice is seasoned just right, and every piece feels like its own little treat rather than filler between highlight bites. Course after course, it’s just clean flavors, great texture, and really thoughtful toppings.
The vibe matches the food. The space is dark, chic, and comfortable, so it feels special without being stiff or pretentious. The staff is genuinely friendly, the sushi chefs are kind and engaging, and the whole experience always ends up being fun rather than formal or awkward. On top of all that, the value is unreal for the quality you’re getting. it feels like you should be paying more for what they’re serving. Big recommendation from us.
