ABSOLUTELY LOVE! Probably the best poke I’ve ever had. Super fresh ingredients and the seasoning is on point! Cute little shop, definitely can tell everything is made with love. Will be back for sure!

We had a good and affordable experience at the restaurant. We had to give it a chance, because upon walking in there was a strong odor of cleaner, I guess they had just swept up the place. But beyond that point, the employees were very nice, polite, and the food was pretty good. I liked the tofu roll and Kimchee roll. The kimchee is spicy so be aware of that in case you have a spicy food issue. Also the wasabi was very hot, probably made fresh. I had to really reduce the amount I would normally eat. The salmon roll was also packed with salmon, so it was very high in protein, but the salmon was a little chewy. So were the rolls. I think I'm just more accustomed to softer sushi fish and thinner rolls. Maybe because they are larger hand rolls, the seaweed wrap was a bit thicker. it was a unique experience, right down to the unusual halfback stools. I bothered the chef several times for additional condiments, and she really obliged. 😊 So all in all, it was a nice experience. Enjoy the photos and videos!

I was walking around hungry but not sure what to eat. The boba tea called my name but this salmon poke is fantastic. It’s a pick your base (rice, veggies, etc) then select your protein with sides such cucumbers, pickled radish plus plus this and that.. sauces and sesame seeds or fried onions. Staff was pleasant and food was ready quick. It’s a tiny place with a small seating area but it’s just what I was looking for but didn’t know it 😋. I plan to go back whenever I’m back in Burbank. Oh I forgot to mention they have nori items with shrimp or kimchi or salmon something something. I ordered the shrimp tempura and it was good. I think I ordered too much food but now I know.

My friends and I really enjoyed their Fresh poke! Great quality and generous portion! Açaí bowl was delicious too! 2 hour Parking available in apartment/condo building in the back of the restaurant.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. I eat poke bowls all the time whether in LA or when traveling for work and this is one of the best ones I’ve had in a while if not the best one I had in LA in recent memory. Got it three times now and it was consistently fresh, fully stuffed and delicious. Yes sometimes it takes a minute to get your bowl, but that’s what made to order is.

The food here is amazing. Ive been so many times now and it has become a go to location in Burbank. The hand rolls are super great for a quick bite and the poke bowls are so good for a dinner option. Friendly staff and amazing food. My only tip would be to maybe order ahead of time because it can take a while to get your food sometimes.

Enjoy their boba and the service is friendly. For all the boba options near downtown Burbank, this one is my overall pick. A little off the beaten path just off San Fernando, parking isn't TOO difficult to find and you may need to park a short walk away. Though beware recent changes to Burbank's parking meters.

Was so excited about trying an açaí bowl in Pasadena ! It's a very small shop that served poke and açaí bowls. They did have one table outside with two chairs. Ordering was pretty simple. Service was quick and fast. Cost was $11.95. Unfortunately my açaí was frozen solid and inedible. I waited and tried mixing it. Stabbing it almost broke my spoon. I asked the server inside and she said that's the way they serve it. Not sure why it's not pureed. I sat outside to try and get it to thaw. Maybe some people like it that way ... not sure..

The rolls were soo good! I tried three for my first time there. I thought the BlueCrab would be my favorite but my fave was actually the Shrimp Tempura. They were all great, though, and it was a good amount of meat that made me happy. I preordered through Grubhub and the service was fast. I believe my order was ready before Grubhub predicted it would be ready. I don't remember much about the ambiance although it had the same vibe of one of those frozen yogurt places. The place looked clean!

Delicious, ordered the Poké bowl and it was very large very fresh ingredients also had a jasmine tea with Boba with half sweet and it was perfect. Fast service

Service was rather slow despite ordering ahead of time before arrival via Yelp. The place however was clean and neat in appearance. I would rate this poke 7/10. I was chewing a piece of salmon and immediately spit it out as there was a bone in it. See picture. They are also pretty conservative with toppings here. The jalapeños were sliced in half and there might've been only enough for 4 whole pieces. Same with the cucumber, the odd spaghetti ch umber was not very appealing in this bowl. Whole sliced would've been better. Overall clean place, but like other review said this poke was average.

3.5? it's not bad but it's not great. I've tried a few times and it is inconsistent. What I experience often is that the brown rice can have clumps or it seems undercooked or not fresh. Sometimes I can taste this tap water flavor in the fish or seaweed salad. I really try to mask it by mixing it up more. The unagi isn't good quality, a bit slimy. And their boba drinks are no good for me. Thai iced coffee is interesting but wasn't a fan. The cups are large though.

*Boba Review* I was looking forward to trying Kokoroll as I was in the area and looking for a new boba spot to try. First off, street parking was easy to find which is always a plus especially in that area of Burbank. When I first walked in, I couldn't help but be overtaken by an overwhelming metallic smell. I ordered a Taro boba made with almond milk and extra boba. Didn't seem like they gave me all that much extra boba which was a little disappointing even though I paid for it. The boba itself was so warm in temperature that it made my entire drink warm which wasn't great because I ordered a slush. The boba was also hard on the inside, not soft and chewy like I would have expected. The worst part was that my drink itself was very powdery/grainy tasting. Almost like when you mix protein powder into milk. I wouldn't come back here for the boba.

Delicious bowls with generous toppings, fresh veggies, and amazing service! You select the menu and choose the base, toppings, protein, and sauce. I got half/half greens and brown rice with tuna and salmon with all the veggies. The yuzu ponzu sauce is light and slightly tarty and paired so nicely with my bowl! My friends also love the wasabi aioli, and sriracha mayo sauce. The workers are so kind and generous with the toppings. My friends ordered the boba and blended drinks and they were so delicious. They also offer non-dairy milk options as well as boba/jelly/etc drink add-ons. Definitely stop by for your poke fix!

I haven't tried the food though it does look good, however I bought 2 Thai Tea boba and they both taste like water. The service itself isn't bad, the workers were attentive and polite.

Taste so good and it smells amazing. Doesn't take too long. Better than most of the places I've ever seen. Doesn't get too much hype, but I would definitely recommend. Workers are respectful and good at their job.

I was so surprised that this place had such great poke! I've had the bowls twice now and I just love the hefty portion size (it is $17) and topping options. The fish always tastes fresh and the sauces and crunchy toppings make it so good compared to other places. This is my new go-to poke spot. They also have online pickup! Can't wait to try their boba too.

The poke burrito was stuffed, juicy, and a complex layering of flavors. Highly recommend if you're craving sushi but want a LOT more fish than a regular roll night offer. How it works: you fill out a menu and check off everything you want in your bowl or burrito. You get to choose 2 different proteins (I suggest the tuna and salmon), toppings and sauces. For an establishment that is not boba-centric, they had some pretty good boba as well! Would recommend if you have a boba craving but don't want to travel to multiple locations after getting their really good poke burrito.

Ive ordered here before, but its usually through an online ordering. No acknowledgement whatsoever from the staff, the shop smells like the ocean, and the chubby, curly haired staff member says "Is it that hard to follow directions?" Because I wasn't sure how to order and didn't even notice the markers/ whiteboard menus on the right.

Extremely stingy on the protein portions in their poke bowls. There was barely any crab meat. You could get a bowl twice the size for the same price anywhere else.

Our first time coming to the physical location and wasn't even greeted. Upon going up to the front counter, gentlemen at the front advised we grabbed a menu to the right (which was clearly out of sight). While filling out the menu, I hear the gentlemen whisper under his ear rudely say "do people really have a hard time following directions?" I let it go, however, paid for my food and left. The audacity of this guy to say that blows my mind. Used to order off UberEats all the time from this place but won't be doing so again.

I decided to try this place out specifically for their milk tea, it's so aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I've tried all the boba spots in downtown Burbank and this is by far my fav there's 3 within 1 mile from each other. The presentation is very alluring, I actually got a couple of co workers try it out just because they loved the way it looked. But don't get me wrong it also tasted VERY good AND they have dairy free options. The service is okay, staff could be friendlier but they're not bad.. just nothing special. There is parking within the area, and place looked clean. Definitely recommend if you want boba!

I got the sushi burrito and taro milk tea. Sushi burrito was good but for the price I would've liked less rice more protein, was also a little dry even with the sauce. The Taro milk tea was delicious however I put only 25% sweetness and it was still very sweet. I got take out so I can't comment on the restaurant itself.

Feel so healthy and good~!! Yummy!! Their ingredients are so fresh and Yuzo ponzu sauce was soooo good with poke bowl, pretty good price than tree choices of meat. Also, Acai bowl was sooooo delicious and big!! I think these are will be my favorite combo and I'll definitely come back!!

As a person who loves poke bowl, Burbank KoKoRoll is THE PLACE! My salmon and tuna were fresh, the dry toppings added great texture to it and the sauces complimented the flavor of the ingredients that went inside! I also tried different KoKoRoll locations and Burbank location is way better than others. Only thing was that the tray had little marks to it but it didn't really bother me enjoying my poke bowl. 10/10 recommend this place

I happened to come across this place as I was exploring Burbank and am so glad I did! The highlight of it all was how kind the staff was! I had a few questions about the boba as I wasn't familiar with the flavors, they not only made suggestions but also offered to modify my drink if I didn't like it! I tried their california and tempura shrimp roll. Happy to say that both the food and the boba were delicious! Will most definitely be coming back! If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by!

We were looking for a spot to grab food after visiting ikea and found this on Yelp. Such a gem! Originally thought the poke bowls were a little pricy, but after it came out, 100% worth the price. My bowl was packed!! Fish tasted really fresh and everything was great. We got a 50% sweetness peach boba that was still fairly sweet, but everything was tasty.

The bowls were okay. A bit pricy, nothing out of the ordinary, and took a while to come out of the back kitchen. The hand rolls were great! I could easily just eat more of those rather than my bowl. The drinks were unique. Especially the matcha blends. One loved it. The other hated hers. I took a sip and didn't enjoy it at all. Ended up getting a strawberry slushy instead. Since they make taiyaki, I ordered a box of 10: 5 custards and 5 Nutella. These weren't as good as SumiSumi. But, they satisfied the craving. If we came back, I'd come back for the hand rolls, slushees, and taiyakis (if I'm in desperate needs of a fix).

Found this gem last week & was back again this week. Flavors & servings were consistent between my visits. I can ALMOST eat the entire bowl. No skimping on portion sizes. Inside is clean & well maintained. I'll definitely keep this place on my "go to" list when I'm in the area. Street parking sucks but there is free parking in a near by lot.

This place is so unassuming, but such a great spot to grab a quick lunch or even a snack! I love coming here for their avocado rolls SO much because I feel like the employees do an amazing job and they're SO filling for how cheap they are! If you want a really cheap vegan sushi roll, they have a few good veggie roll options!

This place was amazing ! Their drinks were awesome and the rolls were delicious. Their cups were in a form of cans and the server didn't put ice until we got there that way it wouldn't water down

I am giving this place a 3 because there is always room for improvements. The chicken teriyaki bowl was giving me poke vibes. It was cold. When you eat chicken teriyaki you expect a warm bowl of goodness. The rolls however were decent and I would try them considering I only had the kimchi roll. My friend mentioned her ones were cold. The taro milk tea was good though! The service was good. Was greeted upon walking in with a welcome. It's a small place and it would be good if you work around this area to grab a quick bite.

The kids wanted Sushi Burritos. I wanted to get out for the night. Looked up this spot in Burbank, CA. Nice small place, with a walk up fill out a card custom burrito, and wait for the goods. Did not disappoint my nephew was very happy. I went all in Kimchi roll 2, Avocado, Tofu, Pickled Cabbage and cucumber all very good. Could use some seasoning, but overall mine were very good and will come again! Have to mention the Kimchi one is off the hook 100%

1/8/19 Tuesday night and exhausted from work? Too tired to cook and want to avoid fast food joint? Well look no more Kokoroll is super affordable and super delicious. We tried every single roll ranging from $2-$5. The crab roll is made with real crab meat and Yellowtail roll are $4.95 each. The plain rolls are served in paper basket tray looks kinda boring but the taste is amazing. Do t forget to try their teas with boba. So many choices can't wait to return to try the poke bowls. Totally love: Kokoroll Matcha Latte...try it with passion fruit Teriyaki chicken, beef bolgogi, spam, Yellowtail, avocado and crab roll. 5 star service for the girl that took our order and the guy who served our delicious dinner.

My favorite poke place in Burbank! Their poke is always consistent and delicious. I love that you can add shrimp tempura to your bowl. Their prices are reasonable for the amount you get and compared to other places in the area. Definitely check it out if you haven't tried it.

It's been a couple of years since I went here, and honestly, it was still just "okay". Nothing that really sets it apart. I got one of their poke bowls and the beef roll. The beef roll was odd. The seaweed was a little too tough, but it actually took force to bite through and rip away. It made the rest of the roll fall apart. The poke bowl was pretty fresh, but the "medium" sauce wasn't anything worthwhile, and tasted more overly salty than anything. I'm okay skipping this place in the future, unless a group of coworkers want to try it out, but then I think I might get something even more basic.

OMG! How dare you guys be SOO good! I can't eat poke anymore if it's not from Kokoroll Cafe!!! They got everything ON POINT! The freshest ingredients, the best BEST best employees! I really love the "build your own poke" kinda system. In this way I can just customize my order in the way I want it. Me and my boyfriend go to Kokoroll a few times a week and the rest of the week I just dream about going there lol! Thank you guys for doing an amazing job and always being to welcoming:)

My previous reviews on poke places were usually based on the quality of proteins and toppings. I find every poke place similar but quality makes a great deal of difference. As long as the ingredients are fresh, I'm happy and so I, thus give the place a good review. Poke Cafe is nothing different than any other poke places out there. Proteins and toppings are fresh. Portion is generous. But this place actually even has a slight disadvantage among its competitors. It's located in downtown Burbank, near City Hall where parking can really be tough. In spite of that issue, I'll still give this place five stars. It's because of the staff who makes every single visit a worthwhile experience. Juan and Josh provide friendly, excellent customer service all the time. They make you feel that your business is truly appreciated. That's the main reason I keep coming back in this store.

I love this place. Food is great. Best poke bowl I've tried. Yes I know your wondering why the 1 star. The 1 star is for the service I received this morning I walked in for my take out . Not sure what her name is but she was wearing a gray with red long sleeve she had her hair in a ponytail . Well the way she greeted isn't what you expect once you walk in. She said in a rude way " yes what do you need" I told her I'm here to pick an order she said "ok so who is it for" I have her the name and she gave me a dirty look and said well it's not ready okay". The other young lady was very polite Great food but horrible service with that one lady that looks to be unhappy with her life

Always fast, friendly service and very clean. I'm glad they're still holding up and open during covid. Our go to item is their taiyaki since it's a perfect hot snack on the go, but sadly this item will be removed from the menu on Nov. 21, 2020. So if you haven't had a chance to enjoy one, I highly recommend trying it before it's gone.

This is my favorite boba and poke place in Burbank! I've tried them all and nothing compares! I visit this place waaaay too often.

Long review, I have always gone to 8oz poke but now that I dont work around that area I been looking for a good poke place in burbank and right when i though I found it I got so excited!!! This place is very good, if you go in at the right time and Do Not order online. The two times I ordered online they got our order WRONG and forgot items!!! Go in and see Jasmine and Miko!!! Those girls get ur order right and make it perfect soooo good! I noticed they are usually in before until 4pm! I have gotten both the burrito and bowl and both are really good! Small place, usually take it to go. I will keep going here and recommend this place as long as those girls are there!

Good vegan poke bowls! Delicious and fresh poke bowls. Had to get it delivered since we're in lockdown times but the online ordering system was easy to use and we were pleased with all of the vegan options to include in our bowls. Fairly priced, too. I would love it if they would offer marinated tofu in a vegan-friendly sauce as that protein can really pack a flavor punch. In the meantime, this is my favorite poke in Burbank thus far.

I ordered from Uber Eats and was pleased with my order! I love poke and have tried some other poke spots in Burbank as I'm new to the area and haven't found a spot I've liked yet. My boyfriend recommended this place but told me it's hard to find parking (which is why we did delivery). They have a nice range of options and even make rolls! It's more like handrolls but it's cheap and good so I can't complain. They seem to only have one size option online which is three proteins. I can handle my heat but the spicy mayo was pretty spicy! I love it but just warning people who can't handle it. I love that this place sells boba as well. I don't need to take an extra trip to a boba shop after getting some lunch since I can get everything I want here. Will be back for sure!

I have tried this place numerous times and I can confidently say it is one of my favorite poke places. I love the variety of topics they offer. The fish is always fresh and the employees are very friendly. The one thing I would like to comment on is their rice. Sometimes it becomes a little too sticky and it clumps together and has an elastic texture to it; however other times it is pure perfection. If they can only fix that one minor thing and be consistent with their rice they will easily become consistently perfect.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! I had been coming here for a couple years and unfortunately, it's not the same anymore. The quality of the food has gone down as well as their management is completely careless when it comes to both their employees and customers. When I went there last, I had ordered salmon and tuna only and normally they give four scoops of each fish but instead I paid $12 for only a few pieces. We had called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who was unbelievably rude and did not care to resolve the issue. What kind of "manager" doesn't care about their customers especially the unhappy ones. Sad to say that neither I or my coworker's will be returning to Kokoroll unless they learn how to treat their customers and employees and if the poke actually starts tasting like fish again.

My co-workers and I have been consistently going here for over 2 years. We used to go almost every other day of the week because of how much we loved the place. The manager/owner used to be an awesome lady who knew all of us by name because of how much we stopped by. All of her employees were so happy and would also strike up conversations with us and generally looked like they enjoyed working there. I don't know if they recently had a change of management/ownership or what but the quality of the place has gone down the drain and I never see the friendly, awesome lady or her employees anymore. They over charge and skimp out on the food not to mention always getting something in our orders wrong/missing. They are always short staffed and the food takes forever to come out. The new manager/owner yells at and mistreats all of his employees to the point where they look like they're about to cry. (No wonder they're short staffed! They can't keep any of their employees!) I have never seen/heard an employee be so panicked and apologize so much within the 40-45 mins I was there ordering and waiting for my food because they're understaffed and the wait is long. I had to tell the employee "It's OK. It's not your fault." at least 7 times that day. I was recently there with a coworker/friend who suffers from stuttering. He was struggling to get a word out and the new manager/owner made a gesture as if to say "come on get on with it already" or "spit it out". This guy has no respect for his employees or customers and doesn't seem to care about the restaurant and where he's leading it. I ordered shrimp tempura in my poke bowl (WHICH IS A NORMAL MENU ITEM) and the girl who took my order gave me major attitude as if it was SUCH an inconvenience. Clearly shows how much they care for their job/doing the right job. Last week they got two of our orders so horribly wrong and when we called to speak with them to resolve the issue calmly and in a mature manner, we spoke with a girl who identified herself as the person in charge/shift lead on duty and she was so unnecessarily rude. She responded multiple times with "there's nothing I can do" and finally said "I can't wait to read your bad reviews!" before ending the call. It's safe to say our entire office will no longer be returning to this establishment and I will make sure family and friends know not to spend money here.

Walking home, from the Downtown Burbank Classic Car Show 2019, I decided to pick up takeout. Kokoroll seemed convenient. They specialize in Japanese poke bowls, nori rolls and taiyaki (dessert stuffed pancakes). Two nori rolls are equivalent to one sushi roll. So I bought five nori rolls: tofu, avocado, cucumber, spicy tuna, beef teriyaki. They were pretty basic and made to order. The avocado roll was skimpy stuffed. I used a dribble of light soy sauce, because it was mostly rice. The spicy tuna packed plenty heat. Too much hotness seems to be a bad thing. Cucumber was crunchy, fresh and delicious. Tofu bland, but stuffed well and dribbled soy sauce necessary. Beef teriyaki was perfectly combination of flavors. Friendly customer service.
