I have hired Kolin Group on 5 occasions - 4 times to renovate rental condos that we prepped so they could be put on the market (all units sold in under 2 months, and one getting an offer within 48 hours of listing), and then I hired him to do some renovations on our home of 20 years to prepare it to go to market. Michael and his team are reliable, on time and on budget, and do great work. He is also super helpful in making recommendations during the remodel to keep you on budget, and has assisted me regularly with purchasing and installing the tile or fixtures needed. Had an amazing experience w Mike and his team refurbishing my master bathroom and second bathroom - have never experienced clean during construction, but Mike and his team were so considerate of the fact we were living in during the refurbishment - timing was as Mike projected, as was cost and the workmanship speaks for itself in the photos! Highly recommended. Mike and his team of cabinet, tile, plumbing and electrical experts did a great job renovating our kitchen and two bathrooms in our 100 year old home. The team handled navigating Evanston permits and inspections well; all of which were approved immediately. Kolin Group does high quality work, cleaned up daily, removed debris and minimized dust/disruption. The team was courteous and quiet. Mike communicated frequently, listened to and addressed all concerns and made sure we were happy with the outcome.

I am almost done with a complete rehab of my condominium using the Kolin group. My condominium is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for someone to coordinate your entire job and produce high quality work, I highly recommend the Kolin group. Bathrooms are extremely important as you want to create a Spa experience. The tile work that was done in both of my bathrooms is some of the best I have seen and I have done three prior rehabs. Just excellent work. Mike has been just wonderful to work with, professional, responsive, always willing to listen and address any issues I have had. I could send Mike a text on Sunday, in the evening, whenever, and he would respond. I have heard so many bad things about contractors and I feel grateful to have worked with Mike and the Kolin group. Rehabs are always difficult and Mike did everything possible to make the experience as stress-free as possible. One last thing I would like to mention is that I have come to know Mike as a trustworthy honest person. I was traveling quite a bit when my rehab was going on, so for the most part I was not present. I trusted that Mike would get the job done and he did, thus earning my respect and trust.
