The 13 Best Restaurants At LaGuardia Airport 2024

"The Poppy’s space converts into Chuko Ramen for lunch at 10:30am. And if you’re there when the switch happens, you’ll get to watch the marquee and menu displays all flip and rotate like an old-timey destination board. Chuko is one of our favorite ramen spots in all of New York City, so naturally, the LGA counterpart is a solid option. A bowl of classic sesame garlic is always a good decision, but they also have great handrolls if you don’t want to commit to slurping broth in an airport. " - anne cruz

This place is actually closed down but there is another ramen restaurant in Terminal C next to Essex Burger called Chuko Ramen that is phenomenal! I hadn’t had Ramen in about 3 or 4 years and this hit the spot before my flight! I ordered the Sesame Garlic Ramen and it was absolutely delicious! All orders are through the QR codes on the tabe and the food came out pretty quickly! I loved the vibe of the place and was by far one of the better places to eat in the LGA airport!

Why did I eat here? This was terrible. Ramen isn’t that hard. For $18, it should at least be mediocre. It was definitely subpar. The broth is weak, the pork belly looked bad and tasted of nothing at all. All of the vegetables had a sickly look to them. Avoid this place!!!

Nice stop in the airport. The waitress was very kind as I did not order any food because I brought some pizza, but did let me sit and order drinks. Thank you

I ordered custom stir-fry bowl with chicken veggies and coconut sauce which turned out to be a most delicious curry sauce.

Terrible Ramen! $20 /bowl . Soup tasted like water. If they don’t know how to cook just don’t sell it . PLEASE DONT EAT THIS PLACE !

Avoid eating here. We waited for 45 mins for 2 egg sandwiches and one of them never arrived. The refund process in the app does not work, so basically we just got robbed there by the restaurant. We had to leave or miss the flight. The waitresses tried their best to bring our food but the place is understaffed. Do not go. You're not getting your food but they will take your money.

Don’t waste your time here. Ordered ramen and expat whisky drink. Drink was $20, and about 3.5oz — nothing to be excited about and def not worth the price. Ramen was another $20. They forgot to bring it out. Had to ask 30 min later and they got the order going again. Ramen broth was weak, pork belly was minimal, ramen noodles were cheap, egg was a boiled egg cut in half.

Terrible food, terrible service, and bordering on fraudulent (see the second paragraph for details on this). The agedashi tofu was a joke. This dish is supposed to be served with a broth made from various Japanese ingredients and with some green onion on top. What I got was slathered in Sriracha sauce, I kid you not. This is the Asian equivalent of serving pasta with ketchup instead of proper sauce. The curry beef bowl was also sub-par. The texture of the beef was rubber-like and not tender at all, and the vegetables were undercooked. To make matters worse, they didn't have the beer that I wanted. Okay, fine, just remove it from my tab. Except, the waitress said she couldn't remove it until I closed the tab and finalized payment (which is already weird and suspicious). Then, without my agreement, she started pressing buttons on my iPad to close my tab, which included giving her the default tip of 18% - ON THE AMOUNT THAT INCLUDED THE BEER. Let me repeat: she reached onto my iPad and gave herself a tip THAT I DID NOT AGREE TO. And again, she tipped herself the amount that included the beer, and later refunded the price of the beer (but not the proportional amount of tip). So basically I ended up giving her something like a 25% tip that I did NOT agree to! Fortunately my credit card company readily refunded me the corresponding amount when I disputed the charge, but this is shady as hell, bordering on fraudulent. Oh yeah, and service sucked all around. I really would have liked to not tip at all. They never refilled my water or cleared the plates when I was done. If you're hungry and in Terminal C at LGA, I strongly recommend any other option over dining here.
