Everything was great. Friend tried miso soup for the first time and loved it. The Chicken Katsu with cabbage is great. Chicken hibachi was delicious and don't get us started on the tastiness of the sushi. Staff was amazing. Our group came in an hour before close and displayed great service. Will be back again!

I really don’t want to be critical of this one too much, but it wasn’t a great experience. I will give it another try upcoming and adjust the review but for now. I just ordered the tempura shrimp and ginger salad,Dipping sauce was good, the tempura batter was more of a popcorn shrimp kind of breading. The ginger salad had barely a touch of dressing, unfortunately I didn’t get a picture before eating the 3 leaves and dressing. Service could have used work, we were the only table there and I couldn’t get a soda refill or more sauce. The staff seemed more interested in chatting about their day to notice.

Oh we missed our favorite waitress 😀, that's okay young waiter on top of his game. I always get the same mega lunch special 😀 fills me belly with Love. Lunch special 2 comes with three rolls all different and spicy 🔥 the real winner. I give her my Miso Soup and she had Chicken n Rice yummy. We always share the fabulous Hand cut Tempura Battered Onion Rings 😁😋 WOWED everytime you must try a order. Being new to the area i was scared of trying a new sushi place, i have been craving it for a while and i didnt know which place to choose. I must say that this place exceeded my expectations i ordered the miso soup, the firecracker extra roll, spider roll and everything was just delicious so fresh and delightful. The firecracker extra roll is just the right amount of spicy. Price is perfect wont break the bank like most sushi places, this place will definitely be my go to sushi place from now on. I suggest you try it!

Staff was super nice, but the food was basic when it comes to sushi. I also did not enjoy their take on the ginger dressing. Unfortunately, I'll be in the hunt for a new sushi place in the area. Market price for basic sushi.

Service was great, we had a younger gentleman help us out and he answered all the questions we had. The shrimp fried rice and sushi was amazing the miso soup was okay. Definitely will be back!

I've always liked this place. I've gotten sushi from here in the past and it was pretty good. And when I ate here a few days ago, my experience was no different. I ordered the Tuna for an appetizer, which is served rare, just lightly seared. Just a heads up, the portion is not that large for this dish. I also ordered the miso soup, which had great flavor. Overall, this is a pretty good sushi place and will be back again to eat.

This is my go to sushi spot in downriver.... Hidden gem. The only thing we didn't care for was the lemonade.

My first order was due to the location be right in fort st and close to my house, but my last 117 orders have been because I love the food, the haste it's prepared with, and wonderful staff. Thank you for always fulfilling my sushi craving. PS - i think my favorite roll is the Black Friday California roll

Sushi is delicious and always fresh. They have good prices. Staff is always friendly. They are quick with a carry out order.

Came here the other day for lunch to celebrate my sisters birthday. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the staff. They were super friendly and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, im a very picking person but i had California Sushi Rolls (Crab, Cucumber, & Avocado) it was absolutely delicious! definitely coming back soon

Rolls are always a nice size and full of flavor! I order to go during winter months but the service is always A1! Nice small inviting location.

Over 6 years now a Downriver favorite of hundreds of regular customers. They do a massive amount of take out and GrubHub delivery. Quaint dining room beautiful decorative and spotless clean restrooms for the Win. We've been a dozen times, always fabulous food and 5 star service. My favorite order the three Spicy Lunch Rolls my go to. Today a special treat a Obama Roll marvolus OMG a instant addiction, I had leftovers for the first time. She had the Hibachi Chicken skipped the Rice and Double Well Done Fried Veggies spot on Wonderful. We always have a order of the unique Planko Hand Cut Onion Rings, actually some of the very best ever. Easy to find on Fort a block off Goddard, big parking lot side of place and three spots in front. When it comes to sushi, you either love it or hate it. All I can say to the people that hate it, try Kome before judging all sushi as bad. They have a wide variety of rolls and some are cooked. The Kome beef roll is to die for! The chicken teriyaki roll is a little bit of heaven on earth. They also offer hibachi dinners for those who can't bring themselves to try the sushi. The staff is always friendly and do their jobs very well. The restaurant is clean and i love the decor they have on the walls. Kome also has a rewards card. After 10 orders, you get a free roll! Yet another in a long list of reasons why you should eat here.

Me and my friend had some takeout from here a few nights ago and it was really good, fish was absolutely fresh and rice was plump and had great bite. I ordered the explosive roll and she got the dynamite roll and one more along with a ginger salad. I have to say the salad was a little too lemony for my taste but still nice and refreshing with the sashimis and rolls. My favorite roll would have to be the explosive, it's just perfect, the combination with the sweet and spicy sauces and the jalapeños, 10/10 would order again and again. I'm eyeing the firecracker-extra roll to try next and maybe the philly one as well for when I'm downriver again. Would 100% recommend!

Omg some of the best sushi you can order, location is easy to get to and iv never been disappointed for anything I have ever ordered totally worth checking out when you are near by!

What can I say...? A picture is worth 1000 words. So there's 2000 words for you. Moms Sushi continues to be my go-to place for Sushi in Metro Detroit. Always fast, friendly, clean and TASTY! A great food experience.

My first time coming here, I got carry out. It is so good! I got the Las Vegas roll, Hot Cheeto roll, and the crab sticks appetizer. I will definitely be returning!

This is me and my wife's regular sushi place. Even though it's a little distance from us we always make our way out here to get some good sushi, I always say that I'm going to try something else to eat there but I love the sushi so much. Everyone is so friendly. We have no complaints here! Whenever you come, get the crab stick, you won't be disappointed!

Great sushi, great service (both dine-in and take-out), and the prices are exceptional compared to nearby restaurants. I had a Spicy California Roll, a Spicy Salmon Roll, and a Rainbow Roll. My girlfriend had a California Roll and a Shrimp Tempura Roll. We were very happy with all of them. We also had a bowl of Edamame which was steamed perfectly and had plenty of salt on it. All of that came to a total of $56 and some change. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great, affordable sushi meal.

Food is good but don't come here for a quiet or relaxing dining experience. Staff has no issues letting customers kids run around, banging on things, screaming and disrupting other patrons enjoyment of the space.

We ordered three rolls and each one was amazing. The Explosive roll had a lot of flavor- sweet and spicy. It also had a crunchy fried tempura outside layer with 2 sauces on top. It was seriously so good. I'm going to order this one every time I go here! We also ordered the Obama roll. It was very flavorful with multiple types of seafood and once again multiple sauces on top. Lastly, we ordered the Crunch crab. It was definitely a more basic roll, which I anticipated with the $6.99 price tag. However, it had so much flavor and was so tasty. I was shocked! I will definitely be back.

Very unassuming in a little strip mall but the sushi was excellent. We had the dragon roll and volcano roll. I would definitely come back to try others because both were excellent and fresh.

This place was good. I only eat vegetable rolls and they had mango and avocado roll which I've never seen anywhere else and it was so good. Would definitely go back

Good prices and good service, but I did not find the sushi to be 5 stars. We took my step mom here for her birthday because it was half way from us to her.

Not only is the food great the server was great as well. I was doing carry-out only during the pandemic. Recently my wife and I went on two separate occasions, and we had the same server. I believe her name was Brooklyn, and she was absolutely amazing. Very jovial and very helpful with recommendations. All around a great experience.

Small little restaurant in Wyandotte but such a gem. You can dine in or order takeout, and the food is amazing. Sushi rolls are FULL of the ingredients listed, they don't overfill with rice. Their miso soup is a must and for $3 it's a great starter. I love the Las Vegas and Godzilla roll, but also a fan of their spicy yaki soba shrimp meal. They've also got hibachi choices. 10/10 recommend.

Sushi lunch special Monday through Thursday is extremely good. You get a nice amount of sushi and it taste great. The staff is always friendly and polite.

Just tried this restaurant. Every thing was very good. Crab sticks are a must, can't beat them for $5. My favorite was The Obama Roll (pictured in the middle). If you want tasty sushi, go here! I don't know if it's because it's a holiday weekend but no one was in the place. I hope it survives and sticks around

First time here! The sushi was delicious. However, the store was completely empty on a Friday evening which surprised me. Many people came in for their to go orders - so I feel like Kome Sushi is better known for take out than dine in. I don't think I will come back because their location hurts them. It's off a very busy road with minimal parking

We were searching for a place to have sushi, but some where different. I found Kome on Yelp. We ordered takeout. I was very impressed. The food was good, fresh, and made to order. The service was great for takeout. The initial plan was to dine in, but something came up. We had a 35v minute drive to our destination and the food was still good once we made it. I will return.

Food is presented great & taste delicious! Sushi chefs do a great job. I'm very happy with the food every time I come here. Prices could be a little cheaper but I am overall happy with my dining experiences.

Tried Kome sushi bar today. We had the Obama roll, California roll, and Wyandotte roll. The California roll is okay, had better . The Wyandotte role was amazing! Really flavorful. But the Obama role is to die for! OMG one of the best ones I've ever had. If you like sushi, go give him a try.

Great sushi and serve at this restaurant. The pieces are huge, taste fresh and I'm a snob when it comes to seafood. Parking is not the greatest, you park on the street, similar to other businesses near them. Restaurant is spacious inside, nothing special just tables and chairs. I've always been happy with carryout from here, always had my order correct. I would recommend them, been here many times.

After much consideration, we decided to try this out. Please consider that we are both from Japan, so we were ready to be disappointed. She ordered a boat and I the katsu curry. Authentic, not really, but the lack of ocean nearby accounts for much of it. The service was great and the facilty clean and neat.

We were beyond impressed with Kome and the delivery service through the Yelp app! The sushi was spot on and exactly what we expected from the descriptions. Fish was fresh and toppings/sauces were delicious. The Obama roll is decadent and a must (if you have room!). I loved the ease of placing a delivery order. Everything in our order was correct and the food was delivered on time. We had a really great experience all around. Thank you!

See, around here. If your restaurant is good....I mean REALLY good, then you get a bonus star. Two things here: Kome's food is really good and the place is Super clean. Bravo! They have some unique sushi combinations for the right price. Do it! It's a treat.

Delicious sushi! Enjoyed the "mother of California" rolls as well as the mango crab roll! All of our favorites such as the Obama roll and Las Vegas we're right on point! Will definitely be back

I've been twice this week. Once for lunch with friends and again with my daughter for an early dinner on Saturday. First time- lunch special was good. I had the #2 (?)- cucumber roll, California roll and a tempura shrimp. It came w miso or salad and I went w the salad- the dressing was perfect! The sushi- It was good, but not my favorite overall. Second trip- we ordered a dragon roll, Philadelphia roll and an Obama roll (not on the menu). WOW!!! Amazing! The Obama is always a go-to for me and this one wins in my book!!! Great flavor and good crunch. Super fast service, but it wasn't a busy time! I'm impressed and I think the close proximity to my house might be bad for my wallet- and my sushi-loving daughter will be asking for it all the time! Support this local business and help it stay around! Yumm!

I have been in here a few times now and have really enjoyed the sushi. The service is very consistent. My only gripe would be that it is a little on the expensive side. I am sure the cost of fish is expensive. So who knows I am not a restaurant owner so I couldn't tell you. It just seems a tad high. The sushi I had the few times I have come in was wonderful. The Rainbow roll was my fav.

I order from here at least once a month as it is at the end of my street and it has become by far my favorite sushi spot! They are always friendly/quick and the food is always great! Would definitely recommend

Read good reviews & wanted to check it out. Carryout, only 20 min wait & was ready right when I came in. Sushi tasted fresh. Ordered: Philadelphia, spicy California, Las Vegas, kamikaze, tuna+salmon roll & the chicken Katsu. Ordered way too much, it was pricey ($60). Wish they had thin sliced lemons for some of their rolls like another place. Kinda watery wasabi. Not my most favorite sushi downriver but I'd try them again just for a change up.

This was my first time... The Sushi was delicious!! I tried the Las Vegas Roll and the Crunch Crab I definitely will return.

Love the food. Got the Mother of Califorina Roll with Mango instead of avacado. So yummy. Service was excellent.
