Every dish we tried was excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients that really capture the essence of the Mediterranean. It’s rare to find a spot where the taste exceeds the high expectations of South Beach, but Athena delivers. ​2. The Service & Ambience: ​The atmosphere is vibrant yet welcoming, striking the perfect balance for a great night out. What truly set the evening apart, however, was the top-notch service. A huge hats off to Anastasia, whose attentive and friendly service made us feel right at home. She ensured everything was perfect throughout our meal. 3. ​The X-Factor: ​Just when we thought the night couldn't get better, we were treated to a surprise dance performance featuring incredible fire stunts. It was an exceptional addition to the meal and turned a great dinner into a full-blown experience. ​Verdict: I highly recommend Athena Mediterranean to anyone in the area. Between the world-class food, the fire show, and the wonderful hospitality, it’s a 10/10 experience!

Amazing Greek food! The grilled octopus was perfectly tender with great flavor, and the appetizers were fresh and delicious. The baklava cheesecake was the perfect dessert — creamy with a sweet, nutty crunch. Berni gave us excellent service and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Absolutely outstanding Greek food. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, like being invited into a family kitchen in Greece. The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor — perfectly seasoned meats, crisp salads, and warm, fluffy pita that’s impossible to stop eating. The tzatziki is creamy and garlicky, the gyro is tender and juicy, and every bite tastes homemade. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the service is genuinely friendly and attentive. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again. Highly recommended.

I stubbed upon this Greek restaurant and was so surprised how good the food was. I sat at the bar and Augustion my bartender took great care of me. I got the steak pit and it was amazing. I’ve never seen it on A Greek menu before. Steak was great so tender.

My girlfriend and I pivoted and went here on a whim and I am so happy we did! 10/10 all around! The atmosphere is super vibey and great for a celebration or a date night. But the food? The food is phenomenal, we got the grilled octopus, eggplant hummus, Chilean sea bass and finished off with a baklava cheesecake. Also, I can’t finish off the review without mentioning our amazing server for the evening, Marco, he went above and beyond for us and made sure we knew our way around the menu. Highly recommend!!!!!

Beautiful atmosphere — it honestly feels like you’ve been transported to a Greek island. ✨ The food was delicious, and the service was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. Shoutout to Marko and Augustine at the bar — they were so fun, welcoming, and made the whole experience extra special. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back! 🍋🥂.

Athena/Babylon Mediterranean is just the best. We’re not even done eating here yet but we had to leave a review immediately before we leave. The service here is straight up un-American. The staff is SO good! Food is incredible. It doesn’t matter what you order… okay the order came out so promptly that I didn’t get a chance to finish writing but we’re gonna do this live. The food here is unbelievable! I had lamb chops (oh my WORD) and my wife had a chicken skewer. Mushroom hummus and Greek fries on the side. Each bite was better than the last. I am not kidding. We are coming back without a doubt.
