"They serve three noodle dishes: the signature green tom yum, noodle soup and fried noodles. The fresh green tom yum hits the right balance of sour and spicy. The fried fish topping has a crispy outer layer and a succulent centre; the large prawns have a moreish umami flavour." - Michelin Inspector

Came here with the thoughts of let’s try something new based on the reviews. The ambiance was cooler (more airy) than Padang Kota Lama food court. Foods wise are so-so to me. I’ve tasted better pasembur & sotong kangkung than here. Cendol jagung is mostly shaved ice with very few green cendol & beans. However, only the char kuey tiaw is ok for me. Thanks for the experience ✌🏻

Not much stalls available here, there's Chinese & Malay stalls at 2 different corners. Most of the food here is bad. Only green tomyam & rojak is good. The stir fry seafood is good, but their service is super duper bad. They'll ask u to wait for an hour even when the crowd is low. Their opening time is also uncertain following their mood. This round visit I'm here for the green tomyam but they're closed so ordered food from the malay stalls. The fried rice is tasteless & the portion of the ayam kunyit is ridiculously small. The satay is not well burned, so it's not fragrant enough.

Many hawker stalls are located here, especially the Gani Pasembur stall. The place was very packed when I last went here with limited seatings on a weekend/school holiday afternoon. The car park is also quite an issue here. The hygiene is not satisfactory. And there are a number of beggars and crazy persons (orang tak siuman) here while the customers are eating, which is a very irritating experience. The good thing is that the food court is by the strait, one can enjoy the view after eating. One can also see Gunung Jerai in Kedah from here on a clear, non-hazy day.

A lot of mascots + balloon makers for children. But the sellers are quite rude and pestered us family the entire time to order from their stalls. It was very uncomfortable to be surrounded like that. Very packed and quite expensive compared to normal restaurant.

This stall give me a special feeling where it brought back my childhood taste. Of course, only for those can accept the shrimp paste taste. lol
