Kon Tiki Playa Negra

Magical wood fired pizza in a hidden gem in Playa Negra. Raphael and Irene would love host that made you feel like family. The pizza is incredible and the salads are so vibrant while being simple and delicious. The secret sauce is insane! Kon tiki has been and will always be one of my favorite places in Costa Rica

Was on a surf trip with my buddies and we went to this place that my friend had been to before. Hands down, the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time (potentially ever). Wood fire pizza cooked out in the open. Everything was fresh and there’s pizza options for everyone! Most importantly, Raphael, the owner is a great dude with a great story and was extremely welcoming to us during our time there. I highly recommend this spot to anyone during their time in Costa Rica 🤙🏼 Pura Vida

Wow, what an awesome place! Came in and we were greeted by the owner as soon as we walked in, he was very welcoming and super friendly! We ordered an amazing artichoke appetizer as well as a few pizzas, and they were all awesome! A few monkeys strolled the treetops above us while we drank sangria and enjoyed the music. If i could give 10 stars I would, will definitely be back again soon!

Amazing pizza and worth the trek from Tamarindo. Honestly better than most pizza in Los Angeles. Raphael creates such a warm family atmosphere and so inviting. The mezcalita with spicy rim and the Peruvian chili sauce for the pizza was 10/10. Best meal I've had all year.

An absolute gem in between Playa Avellanas and Playa Negra. Appetizer was their special - an artichoke dip with focaccia cooked in the oven in front of us, with the biggest chunks of artichoke I’ve ever had in a dip with unbelievable flavor. The Ogre & Margarita Especial had the best thin crust and had all the toppings and more (definitely don’t skimp on them!!). And the best part was the kindest server who made us feel so so welcome, he made our night. 1000/10!!

The perfect pizza. I have traveled the world over in search of a pizza of this Caliber. And it’s safe to say that nothing comes close to the level of quality and sheer euphoria that I experienced when taking first bite. Thanks Kon Tiki.

Such a cool place, the whole vibe is amazing. Raphael made us feel like family and the pizza was delicious. It’s clear Raphael and his staff care about there customers and go out of there way to make connections with them. 10/10 recommend, Pura Vida!

This is the most magic hole in the wall pizzeria. The food blew all our minds. We have a group of 20 and everyone was thrilled and in awe. The ambiance and the ingredients.
