Tom Sietsema Falls Hard for Roast Chicken at Primrose | Eater DC

"Though Le Kon opened in September, it already feels newly reshaped after owner Milvia Landaverde split with Top Chef alum Katsuji Tanabe, and I miss dishes like chorizo and vanilla Brussels sprouts, soy sweet potatoes and charred corn salad; that said, I’m a fan of the safer Tex‑Mex standards now overseen by young chef Walter Elias — the chorizo is kicky, sliced and split open to collect char marks, the beans are smokier than they need to be, and even the taquitos are fun here: hand‑rolled, stuffed with carnitas, with frayed, crispy bits that are the best part." - Gabe Hiatt

A really nice resort with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The beach is never crowded; there are bars on the beach for those who want to enjoy. There are restaurants and Spas. There are also activities, including Scuba Diving. Definitely marked it down for next year

We loved this place ! The area is beautiful and the beach is a paradise beach… It looks as good for families as it does for friends… it’s huge. The restos are mediocre but we loved the place so much that we didn’t mind that! We definitely plan on coming back.

If you want a trailer park experience kind of rooms this is it. Campers place on the beach. Location is beautiful. AC didn't work in one unit they did give a lil discount and the Music was outrageously loud. Please if you are going for a night of sleep don't go here. This is a party place and no one sleeps here. The music runs way into the night. At least till 1am don't expect to sleep. Since it's a party place the beach you can have all to yourself at sunrise 🤣 even though I only had a few hours of sleep I didn't want to miss the sunrise. It was amazing! But wouldn't come back to this place as we came to sleep.

This is the worse place we stayed on our journey around Europe! The ac was not working in master bedroom, went to the conceairge and she said they'd send someone. No one came. Went again late evening and she then called someone and we went to dinner. She said someone would come during that time. No one came. But at that point conceairge was closed! Tried calling all different numbers frantically as it was almost 10 at this point. Someone finally showed up just to tell us he couldn't fix it and we had to deal with it because they were full! So now we will sleep without ac that we paid for. Ok, this is not all, now on top of that, this is NOT a family resort by a long shot! The heavy banging music started EARLY, and it has NOT stopped, it's well after midnight!! So don't plan on coming with kids or with anyone if you think you will have any sort of peace! This is for young, low class party type people. So if you like to party all night and "slum" it, book it now!! I will NEVER RECOMMEND this place!!! CAN'T say enought how awful our stay was!

Wonderful.|Always a joy. |We love the relaxed vibe but 5 star service this place provides to us. |The lady in the bakery is a little grumpy but that can’t take away what a fab place this is! Restaurants are great and all staff wonderful |Can’t wait for August to return again!

Lovely resort right on a beautiful sandy beach. The resort is well laid out, there is enough parking available. There are quite a few activities for adults and kids. They also have restaurants and shops on site. The rooms are nicely equipped and comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Some tips: You do need a car to get here and around as it is a little far (6-8 min drive) from the main town. Also, the on-site restaurants are more on the expensive side.

Spent a long weekend here with 16 friends. Each house had air con, functioning kitchen and a modern bathroom! Staff was very friendly…a friend of ours Mr N had an accident in bed and they solved it immediately! We will be back
