Kona Grill has quickly become one of my favorite places for a relaxed night out. The atmosphere finds the perfect balance between casual and upscale. It feels modern, comfortable, and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind over drinks and good food. Happy hour here is outstanding. The drink selection is excellent, and the cocktails are strong, creative, and well-balanced without being overpriced. It is clear that the bartenders take pride in their craft. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cheeseburger sliders were juicy with perfectly melted cheese. The sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and soft inside, served in a small basket that added a nice touch. The dipping sauce was so good it could easily stand on its own. The grilled chicken salad was another highlight, with tender chicken, fresh greens, blue cheese crumbles, and sweet pear slices that tied it all together. Service was attentive and friendly, and the overall vibe made the evening feel easy and enjoyable. Kona Grill delivers consistently great food, drinks, and atmosphere. I highly recommend it, especially during happy hour.

Came in for a quick lunch today and grabbed a seat at the bar. Took the bartender almost ten minutes to even acknowledge me… ordered a crab crunch roll and was never offered the lunch special for it that comes with the appetizer… or any specials at all for that matter (heard others talking after I ordered). Staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Also, not sure if it’s the standard but $9 for 9 Brussels sprouts that have absolutely zero favoring is ridiculous. Crab crunch roll was 👌.

Google
Horrible horrible. First let’s start off it’s sweetest day 10-18-25 (not even really a real major holiday) and we made a reservation, when we get there we’re told that it’ll be a 25-30 minute wait (I thought the point of a reservation was to be seated right away with no wait?) In the reservation notes we requested for a booth, host told us she could sit us right away at a high top table in the bar so we would not have to wait for a booth to open up we agreed to the high top. We’re seated and the server comes up & says before you order they’re behind in the kitchen & the wait for all food is like 40-45 minutes we said okay & still proceeded to order food and drinks, she said their margarita flight machine was broken so we couldn’t order that. The drinks barely had any alcohol in them but they tasted ok. Ordered the meatballs told her to take off the macadamia nuts, she brought them to the table and they were on there, I had to scrape the nuts off. The food didn’t come out till maybe 30-40 mins after the appetizer (at that point I wasn’t even hungry) it was about 10:45pm and the reservation was at 9pm. Food came and it was cold, tasted like a regular meal from apple bees or chilis. Host didn’t refill our waters, did not come back to check on us until AFTER I asked for a to go box, service 0/10, food 0/10, the table next to us had to wait 40 minutes for a to go box, I see why they only left a 1.00 tip. By 10:45pm the place wasn’t as packed and the waitress still did not check on us. The only thing good were the appetizer meatballs and the waygu fried rice (which was also a little hard at the bottom). The place is over priced and not worth it at all. I will not be back as this was a very bad first impression. Also did not receive an apology from the server what so ever.

Google
I got some sliders and a holiday martini. I really wanted to hang out and do California rolls with a sake flight but I'm super relaxed and low energy. this is Making me need a nap..that's nice. the rolls on the sliders are toasted. the Marti I has rumchara and espresso. could use slightly more espresso and less vodka

Google
The food is very good but super pricey! I had the macadamia chicken which was fantastic and the pineapple sauce was top notch! I did try the pumpkin pie. Like all of their desserts very generous portions. Caramel sauce and pumpkin whip of some kind. They went a bit overboard on the pumpkin seeds.

Google
Food was okay, the sliders were good, but overall nothing special. I was not happy with the service, waited for ever for the waiter to come check up on us and bring us our food when the restaurant was empty. Ended up staying almost two hours because of it. UPDATE: management responded to the review to contact their email but they never responded after several inquiries.

Google
Arianna was an amazing server. She was very tentative. We didn’t have to ask for drink refills. R we didn’t have to wait long for dishes to be removed from the table. We not once had to ask for her. The food was great. I chose this place because it holds memories for my daughter and I. Thank you for making my daughters birthday dinner a spectacular experience.

Google
The atmosphere is nice, and the food is just ok. Steak was hot and cooked properly but pretty flavorless, the 5 fingerling potatoes were nothing to brag about 🤷‍♂️ Our waitress was extremely slow, seems like 20 minutes between each stage of dinner, seating, then 20 min for drink orders, then 20 min for drink arrivals, ( only soda and waters), then 20 min entrées ordered, then 20 min served, then 20 kin for dessert orders, then 20 mon for dessert, then checks. Pretty wild. Proportions were pretty skewed, the carrot cake is comically huge, and the cheesecake is on the flip, pretty tiny. All in all no rush to return.

Olivia C.

Yelp
Been here a fair few times and love the crew. Staci is one of our favorites. She has me obsessed with the patio bubble and always has one ready. She knows our usual order by heart. The spicy crunchy tuna roll is my favorite. I'll always come to Kona for Staci service and hospitality.

Yelp
We've only been to Kona Grill during happy hour -- and honestly, that's the way to do it. The food has always been solid. We've tried the spicy tuna roll, crab crunch roll, spicy shrimp tempura, avocado egg rolls, macadamia nut chicken, sliders with fries, regular edamame, and angry edamame -- all from the happy hour menu. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. The portions are smaller than the regular menu items, but it makes it easier to order more and enjoy different options. We also ordered the fire dragon roll (tableside fire-finished) off the regular menu -- fun presentation, but the alcohol flavor from the fire overpowered the roll a bit. The happy hour prices make it a great value, and the atmosphere is lively without being too loud. Service has always been quick and friendly for us. Izzy was our server on our most recent visit, and she was very kind and attentive. I've seen mixed reviews about regular dinner service and pricing, so we'll probably stick to happy hour -- it feels like the best time to enjoy Kona Grill.

Yelp
The service is ridiculously slow. 2 plus hours now and still waiting. Manager came by to apologize that the kitchen was backed up. Sorry sounds like they seated too many tables for the kitchen to handle. The place is so loud that you can't hear someone three chairs away. Expensive as well. 30 for a burger is a bit ridiculous. 20 for a sushi roll. I hope my burger is good. lol Update: we received our meals 2 1/2 hours after ordering. My burger was overdone. Wife's sea base sliders had less a tablespoon of fish on each slider. It was sweetest day but the staff was overwhelmed and terribly insufficient for the crowd size. Telling your guests "thanks for your patience" is not adequate after a 2 1/2 hour wait. Especially when we had reservations and other parties were seated and served before us. Yes, our party was large, but they accepted the reservation, so I expected they would be able to handle our party. They should have made it right, by crediting a portion of our meals or something, but no, just "thank you for your patience".

Yelp
I absolutely love, I mean, love the butter cake here at Kona Grill. I have had several other butter cakes and find this to be the best I've ever had. The raspberry sauce with it is delicious. Although I told them, please do not heat up my butter cake, because by the time I get home, it's going to be hard as a rock. Of course they heated up my cake, and it was super hard by the time I got home to eat it. It's so delicious, I reviewed it twice. Now...... Kona Grill prices are ridiculous! $19 for loaded french fries, that have no meat on them only bacon bits, is insane. Shrimp fried rice for $19! The butter cake is almost $20, they called themselves rebranding but it's not the food, It's the prices! Ratings for butter cake only, when not heated up ....5 stars Ratings for price .......2 stars

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday morning around 11:30am. There were no other tables with people dining in yet. Placed order for take out. Sashimi and sushi order. Prices online and at the restaurant seemed different. At the restaurant seemed cheaper. Got the order ready within minutes. Quick and efficient! All the sushi and sashimi from here were great! Especially Eel Sushi and Eel Sashimi were phenomenal. Slightly crispy on the surface, juiciness and warm eel with the sauce was the best eel I have had since the eel dish I had in Japan earlier this year. Salmon, tuna and yellowtail were also good but the eel stood out! The only down side is the price. Prices are very expensive, basically paying $4.40 per sashimi piece. If it was more affordable, I could see myself coming for sushi/sashimi more often. Four-star rating because of the price.

Yelp
I always enjoy sitting at this bar. It has a nice view of outside, even if it's mostly road. The chicken satay is very good. Happy hour all day every day @ the bar top. Can't beat that deal!

Yelp
I cannot say enough bad things about this place. From the flies buzzing around my food to the homeless man accosting me on the way out my advice is to stay away. We got here for happy hour which is a draw if you live in the area because it starts at 2 and has a big happy hour menu but the food is mediocre at best and frankly the drinks leave something to be desired. Two flies flew into our beer and the waitress didn't offer to replace it. Then when we were walking out there was someone sitting on the bench by the hostess as we said thank you and goodbye. The man followed us out and tried to start a fight in the entry way of the building. No one tried to stop it, no one came to make sure everything was okay. The man was clearly homeless just sitting in there bothering the hostess and accosting guests.

Yelp
Ate at an odd time (2:15P), and restaurant was not even close to full. Atmosphere/Ambiance pleasant. Our server, Karl, was very friendly and welcoming. Checked back, always with a smile, several times to see if we needed anything. Food was very tasty, however, as some have stated, quite overpriced. We asked for our appetizers first, entrees after. Contrary to our request, entrees were brought out first, and that was disappointing, but food was very good. Their lemongrass clam chowder ($17) was delicious, even though the clams were hard to find. Lots of bacon and bursting with flavor. Loved that it was a creamy broth and not overly thickened. Asian salad ($20) was crisp and fresh. Ordered their Macadamia nut crusted chicken (additional $6) to be added, but salad came without the chicken. Waited about 12-14 minutes for chicken to arrive. Also asked for dressing on the side, but it came mixed into the salad. Chose not to complain. Husband got the Kona Seabass sliders ($25). Fish was white, mild, and flaky and came with their house-made chips (get them! they're SO good, and NOT greasy!). He also got the SIDE Asian Salad ($15) which you can see pictured. Manager came to us at the end of our meal and apologized for the mix-ups. Total bill for 1 soup, 1entree salad, 1 side salad, and 2 sliders was $81.62 before tip. Karl was great, so we tipped him well. We'd try it again, as meal was delicious! Hopefully, next time won't have the mix-ups and delays!

Yelp
We did not eat because upon entry the floor was pretty dirty. So we took a seat at the bar and went to use restroom. The ladies restroom was unacceptably dirty and because of that I would not order food there. My husband went into men's where the urinal was wrapped in plastic and unusable. He said "not filthy" but not clean. We ordered 2 beers , let the bartender know about the restrooms and that we wouldn't eat because of concern of cleanliness. She was great! Good conversation, she shared our concerns with someone? , we enjoyed our beer and left. We have eaten here before but will not again because it's not clean and my nose says there may be an issue with vermin, and an overall feel of grime.

Yelp
Food was good. Waiter was not great. The bar was full of dirty glasses. I requested a table on the patio and was told it was closed for a private party which was not true. There was a party but they were in the back of the patio they did not have the entire patio taken over. It was okay.
google avatar

Yolanda A.

Yelp
My friend and I went during Happy Hour. Not many ppl at all. Waitress, Alana, was very good and honest when asked about menu items. Happy Hour menu priced from $3 - $9. We got 1 orders of crab crunch sushi, potstickers and the kona sliders. Everything was really good.

Joe G.

Yelp
We had a 730 reservation. Our food was served to us at 940pm! Yes, we waited OVER 2 hours!! Terrible service, mid food, manager was a jerk, it seems like this happens there frequently by the way the wait staff was acting. We will never be back. We are so incredibly disappointed and I could go on and on about how terrible it was, but frankly, I'd just like to forget this crappy meal experience and get on with my life. Don't go! Obscenely expensive! Bad service, bad management.
google avatar

Yelp
Last night me and my family gave this place another try after a very unpleasant experience for Mother's Day. Not only the service was impeccable, but also, we got to try some new plates recently added to the menu. We simply loved the experience we had. Food was simply amazing but what really stand out was the service from our waitress and how the Assistant Manager Lisa was checking if we needed anything. This really flipped things around from my previous experience, to become one of the most memorable nights me and my family have had at a restaurant. A bit sad they ran out of their signature dessert, butter cake, but had some other great options like cheesecake, brownie and the largest piece of carrot cake my eyes seen, everything was delicious, just sorry I forgot to take a picture.

Yelp
I usually DoorDash the KG burger when I'm craving a burger. It tastes really fresh, not soggy. The fries are pretty good. I like that they place the toppings on the side. Their ranch is also really good. However, I'm not really a fan of their new sauce. I haven't dined in, in a couple of years, but I remember the ambiance being great because the staff has always been so nice. In my last order I found a brownie, which I was excited about because I was craving something sweet after my meal. The brownie was really good, would definitely get it again. Shout out to Libby!! Thanks girl :)

Yelp
Comestibles and Potables. Photodocumented experience. Execution and Hospitality. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Manager stopped by. Wow. Nice touch. Logos, Pathos, and Ethos. Clean and stocked loos. Place was PACKED for HH. Overall, good -- for HH.

Lupus L.

Yelp
The sirloin isn't a real steak. It's bits of steaks glued together using a gross gelatin called literally meat glue.

Fred B.

Yelp
Best sushi around! Wait staff is super friendly. Staci our server was the best and had the best recommendations for sushi rolls. Menu has a little bit of something for everyone and always taste so fresh! Great place to grab lunch or to take the family for dinner after work!
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Another great experience at Kona. Weather was great, patio was full and had a great energy. Service immaculate. And Lisa, the manager was so kind. I hugely appreciated her for helping me enjoy my time here.
google avatar

Jim O.

Yelp
5 stars - just for serving food after 11 pm ! Most places shut kitchen by 10 pm. Shared happy hour appetizers. Sliders, lettuce chicken wraps, & bbq chicken flatbread. All tasted great. Sat at the bar. Great service from both bartenders! They also offer quite a few appetizer drink specials.
google avatar

Janae T.

Yelp
It was my grandmothers birthday and they don't seat you until at least half of the party gets there. There is indoor and patio seating available. I ordered a watermelon margarita and the pad Thai noodles and added shrimp. The margarita was good, but it was gone in like 5 seconds I wish they had bigger glassware. As far as the noodles. It came with eggs and peanuts, chicken, shrimp, bean sprouts, etc. but they were so good even with warming it up the next day and adding the lime to it was a great touch 10/10 next time I'm coming for the sushi
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying that I feel I'm being generous with a three star review. I usually only give a two star for bad service or a dirty location. Kona looked as great as always and the staff was pleasant. However if you're paying $30 for a lunch size portion of stir fry, it should be top notch. The chicken was slightly dry, the veggies mushy, the sauce not very good. No nuts or water chestnuts to add a crunch. The broccoli were pieces that I would have thrown in the trash if I were cooking. Hard stems should not be part of a nice stir fry. I went to lunch here today for a work meeting so I didn't make a fuss. But I definitely would not order this again. Stick with the macadamia nut chicken or Asian salad, folks. And btw.... toooooo loud at this restaurant. I had to keep asking the person sitting next to me to repeat herself.
google avatar

Jess Y.

Yelp
they've got a great selection, big menu! the food is good and the environment is even better! I had a few items from the happy hour and evrything was great, the spicy tuna roll was just missing sauce. the bbq chicken flatbread and sliders are a must

Jerry D.

Yelp
The waitress disappeared for long periods. Food was not consistent with the prices for the dinner menu. Won't be returning.
google avatar

Carol C.

Yelp
Our server was new and was extremely sweet and tried to be helpful. That was the only positive. They were out of several items because "they were changing the menu". Ordered a filet medium rare. Once was well the next one was raw. They were out of wines, out of tahine for margarita rims, out of kettle one vodka and on and on. The experience was unacceptable. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Updating to 5 for truly fantastic service and food during Happy hour. I think between separate trips we have tried all the apps (no drinks, though). Our favorites and most value were the shrimp + steak (not on menu), $14. That alone will fill you up! Other favorites were the shrimp tacos, chicken lettuce wraps (sauce was wonderful on this), macadamian chicken (that is a very unique sauce!), crispy avocado egg roll (crunchy, soft, and warm). I did not like the sliders as it was two small patties and felt not worth it, ribeye meatballs (again, small and not very juicy, $4.5 per meatball), chicken satay (just not amazing), bbq chicken pizza (a bit heavy on the bbq sauce). Service was great, prompt, and accurate. Made sure steak was cooked nicely. Ambiance is a good dinner atmosphere. We enjoyed our time much more this time and will likely be back for HH or non-HH times.
google avatar

Elaine W.

Yelp
First time at Kona Grill. Tried their happy hours menu with family. Overall a great experience. Ambiance is great. Service is mediocre. But food exceeded my expectation. Honestly the best item is actually the kids menu salmon for $8. Probably the best kids menu out there. My toddler loved it. Also comes with a drink and supposedly an orange bear that we didn't receive. Regarding the other happy hour options. We also got 3 shrimp tacos and some sliders that didn't make it to the photo. Overall, I think happy hour is a pretty good deal for the portion of food we received. Highly recommends the shrimp tempura and lettuce wrap (both $9 items). The bbq chicken flat bread was a decent size but way too saucy and sweet for us. The surf and turf was good, just unfortunate that you can pick how you want the steak cooked. Overall would probably return for happy hours again.

Ebenezer's Anni L.

Yelp
Thought I checked in when I had the Christmas lunch with the Meetup group I have. One of them suggested that I scheduled the Christmas day lunch here and others agreed. We had a full table including a few new members. I was happy to find a place with a good menu that takes reservations for larger groups that need separate checks. While the prices were a little higher than normal, we didn't mind because we hoped the staff that gave up some of their holiday was taken care of. Kitchen was a little slower but still not bad. Service was good and everyone loved their food. No one had room for dessert. I think I will schedule another meal here in the spring since the menu is variable with something for most. Adult drinks menu is bigger than the food but the food is not an after thought as others that also have larger drinks menu. Will be back again.
google avatar

Angela V.

Yelp
Yikes. Fruit flies, at least 10 around us while we we were eating. The food was sincerely not good. The sushi honestly shouldn't even be called sushi. The roll was smushed, imitation crab and cream cheese rolled and tempuraed. The kids meals were fine. And the wine was great. But the atmosphere is nothing like you'd think for the high prices you're going to pay. I'm honestly shocked they are still in business.

Jason R.

Yelp
This place has seriously gone down hill. I made a reservation, still had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated. It took over an hour to get our food. The waiter was clueless. I will never return. Please avoid
google avatar

Alexis H.

Yelp
The food is average and over-priced. The ambiance is nice. Darker lighting but you can still "see".
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
Nice restaurant inside. Although a bit loud. The service was simply super super slow. Took 20 minutes to get the drinks, another 20 to get food and then 30 to get dessert. A dinner that lasted 2 hours. Way too long, especially for the price. The food was. Ery good though, even though they gave o e us the wrong meal initially. And yes it was at least ten minutes on the refire. The server was friendly and good. But paying these prices and taking two hours fur two people is simply ridiculous.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
Two stars for the ambiance and hostess stand. First off the prices are just crazy. I know everything is more expensive but $20 for a frozen hamburger patty and a small portion of fries is just crazy. Most entrees are in the area $30. Service wise , they were friendly but inattentive. Water glasses went empty and I asked for mustard with my burger and I didn't get it. Not sure why but we are never served all entrees at the same time. Someone is always left waiting for their meal and that is unacceptable. It has been a couple years since I have eaten here and thought we should try it again hoping for an improvement. Unfortunately the only thing that has increased is their prices. Save your money and go elsewhere.
google avatar

Bridgette Z.

Yelp
I have to give a shout out to Kona for how well they handled our Mother's Day reservations. We were able to snag a last minute reservation for 7 people and although we didn't get seated for almost 30 minutes after arriving, the service and the food made up for it. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. No complaints at all. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it was closer to medium but I really enjoyed it. The lobster roll was just ok, honestly their sushi is not very good and never has been but overall a fantastic meal!
google avatar

Ericka B.

Yelp
A first visit for us to Kona grill. I truly didn't have expectations coming in. We were promptly sat on the patio and weather was great so excellent choice. my cocktail was an expresso martini. I am never one to complain about a strong drink, this one was way strong, made the drink unenjoyable. Server brought a bit of the expresso mix they use and i was able to blend it together and make this work. our food was excellent. Not a long wait time at all. I do wish there was just a little space between the appetizer and entree. They were almost back to back hitting the table. Our server was very attentive, restaurant was very clean and I liked that a manager just strolled the dining room talking to customers ensuring everything was satisfactory. Nicely done Kona, we will return!
google avatar

Eric O.

Yelp
Dinner with co workers. We started with appetizers. I had some of the lettuce chicken wraps. Excellent. I also had a dinner salad as a starter . Very good. Then came my dinner. New York Strip, grilled shrimp, and green beans. Excellent. Great flavors, Tasted fresh. Cooked perfectly. Waitress did a great job,
google avatar

Claire C.

Yelp
I always love Kona grill, especially around happy hour time. I always get the chicken or shrimp Pad Thai but this past visit I tried the macadamia nut chicken and it was amazing. I might be converted. We love to get the sliders, edamame, and sushi during happy hour. The saké flight is really fun too!

Carrie M.

Yelp
Food good, but not served hot. Coffee was cold. We had a reservation, arrived 1/2 hour early and our table was given away. Twice. To two other large parties ( one was a walk-in). Food took forever. Waitress was personable, but overwhelmed with a table of 14.
google avatar

Tracey M.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere, very clean restaurant, servers and hostesses were very kind and accommodating. Their food looked great. Not a lot of gluten free options. There were 4 things identified GF. We got the 2 sushi items that were gluten free. They were fantastic but it would have been nice to have a larger selection. Oh and nothing available in the dessert department. Need to up their game.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
Moriah was so sweet and accommodating with our girls night tonight. She was absolutely perfect!

Mercedes D.

Yelp
Lisa the manager and Stacey the bartender were awesome and my sushi was great. Thanks again

Dave M.

Yelp
If there was a zero star that would be what I would pick. Mothers day reservation. Over 1 hour behind. Thier excuse call center books for 40 locations and double books. Brunch menu sold out at noon ( 2 hours early) note they open @ 10am. Will never come here again.
google avatar

Sandra S.

Yelp
Gracie was great! Checking on frequently. Happy hour menu allowed us to sample a lot of different things, all of which were amazing. Wasn't busy at the beginning of happy hour, music was a little different. But up beat

Kailee T.

Yelp
Perfect happy hour! Monet was our server & she was great!!!! Will be back fasho. Wine was good. Got the California crunch roll, lettuce wraps & pot stickers. Yummmmm.

Yelp
#1 draw in - happy hour and a gift card I've been holding onto for years. The happy hour specials are unmatched these days. Three tiers of food options fall into categories from small shareable like shrimp tacos, chicken satay and edamame to sushi roll and spicy tempura shrimp. Which we split all of the mentioned dishes after a lengthy mall trip, ha. The ambiance could use some work, it's not what I'd envisioned - it has a bit of a late 90s vibe to it with a bit of an identity crisis upon walking in. They have the table side kiosks for grabbing your servers attention and paying... and paying for games/trivia which adds to a level of tackiness and convenience which I'm torn about. The floors had that just washed with oily water slickness to them. One major complaint is that Jones Soda is $9/bottle and they ask you if you want another like it's a beer or free refill. That was a bit steep and off putting.

Micah N.

Yelp
I had a great experience here, food was amazing, Bartender Destiny was great and very attentive and the manager Lisa also pleasant! I will be coming back soon!

La'Toya C.

Yelp
Destani was great. And the manager Lisa. I will absolutely come back. The food was amazing

Yelp
The day you go to a restaurant shouldn't dictate how good the service is. I don't care if they have the B Team working; the service should always be good. That's on the management to sort out. This is why our Thanksgiving visit was such a shock. We saw that the prices weren't low, which reinforced the expectation that the service would be great. But, after an acceptably casual drink service, we found out that they didn't have pickles, apparently anywhere in the building. All my wife wants on her burger is pickles and mustard, but she had to wait until the burger was delivered to find out (without mustard). Had she known earlier, she could have changed the order. The fries were cold, as was the burger, but we were hungry. The burger is flame broiled, and it's good. Plus, two quarter pound patties means you will probably have some to take with you. It would have been better served when it was still hot. We asked for the fries to be remade, which took until halfway through the meal to arrive. The miso mashed potatoes my son got with his burger were surprisingly bland. And, in keeping with the theme, they and the burger were cold. My wife's mom was happy with her (lukewarm) stir fry. I tried some, and I have to agree. It was perfectly seasoned, but a bit small for $25. But, worst of all, my brother in law - who ordered the turkey dinner - didn't get anything. It took some chasing people down, and another half an hour, but he finally got his turkey dinner. And, you guessed it, it was cold. He sent it back, and got lukewarm food for his meal. We ordered desserts, and they came out one at a time, 5 minutes or so apart, even though we all ordered the same thing. We had to wait another 10 before the coffees arrived. Unlike everything else here, the coffee was hot. The carrot cake was really good. It had a homemade feel to it, with buttery rich icing, and it's massive. Like when the Detroit Tigers are getting shelled by another team, the manager came in, and relieved the server in favor of somebody else. The new server was attentive, but the damage had already been done. I would really like to try this place if they can get their service issues sorted out. They weren't even that busy today, though, so it's hard to imagine the experience being much better on a return trip.

Yelp
Made reservations for 7:30. Didnt get sat til 8:10. 40 minute wait. That's crazy. It's now 9:20pm still don't have my starter (sushi and calamari) or been asked for a refill for my drink that's been empty for over 20 minutes. I ordered a salad and sushi. Neither of these require cooking. It's now 9:40. The table next to us said they were here for 3 hours. Didn't get their food yet. Went to bathroom and even a young guy in the bathroom was talking to someone on the phone saying the food was nasty and overpriced.
