Google
We were looking for a place to eat before we started our long drive home, and immediately wanted to try this as soon as we saw it! It's a little overwhelming, all of the different options, but oh so worth it! We got the Potato Kong Dog, the Sweet Potato Kong Dog, the Milky Kong Dog, the Original Kong Dog (OGs are always a must) and the Churro Kong Dog, with fries and three different kinds of their lemonade, and oh my goodness it was all so good! We wish we had one of these places in South Bend, Indiana! We would come here all the time if we lived closer.

Google
Got here once they opened. Maybe that's why things were just a bit off....too early.... Anyway, placed my order and got my food right away. Got the chicken original Kong dog sweet with an iced bubble ube latte. Both were sssooo good. Atmosphere is nice....think it would be better at night. Plenty of free parking card payments only machines available for when it's busy. Kid friendly. Recommend trying this spot at least once

Google
Kong Dog is a unique take on a hot dog and very creative. We had the Cheetos and Potatoes half and half dog. Both were fresh, tasted good and had incredible cheese pull from the cheese portion. It is certainly a speciality kind of a place rather than a quick stop in for a "regular" meal however.

Google
The corn dogs were very tasty and I like all the different variety of corn dogs they have. I would definitely come back to try out some of the other versions! The one we got was the Hot Cheeto Kong Dog, it has a very crunchy outside and the beef was pretty good as well. Next time I definitely have to give the mozzarella filling a try! You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant!

Google
Super adorable shop with the trademark king kong logo. The corn dogs were delicious whether you choose all beef, all cheese or half and half! My favorites were the potato crust and the original with sugar! So good, it can get busy but it's so worth it.

Google
The store atmosphere is very nice. Just a simple walk in, order and sit down restaurant that looks very clean, fresh and nicely set up. Ordering was quick and easy. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and I'm writing this review while eating here now. The food is phenomenal. The food quality and portions are spot on. The options are really creative. I suggest not being afraid of the options and go out of your comfort zone. No regrets.

Google
The food here is great and filling! Every dog is hand crafted so there are long wait times per each order. They accidentally forgot to put the half sausage in my mozzallera and dog and I kindly asked for a replacement and they did it without any muzz or fuzz. I highly reccomend it here and try out this Korean cuisine!

Google
Since being a chef, I'm able to seperate my own likings from the over taste of a product. This place gets 5 stars all the way around. Very kind service, clean, upkept and sanitary. Very cute decor. Tvs for a bit more entertainment. I ordered a ramen Kongdog with fries. The meal was flavorful and perfectly executed! Ramen was crunchy, the cheese had a nice pull, and the lower all beef hotdogs was flavorful and not bland, asive tried other establishments. The fries were fresh cooked. There's also music playing. The place simply was not my preference of food, I tried it, it was made perfectly, but I won't be back. This doesn't take away from the product though. Maybe I just don't like corn dogs. I tried something new anyways and am glad!!!! Most try, a place to sit, talk and lax!

Yelp
We decided to pick-up some Kong Dog and bring it to the in-laws. This was our first time trying Korean style corn dogs and it was not disappointing. The restaurant was decorated well and had walk up ordering and kiosks by the entrance. The eating area was nice and but we ordered the food to go! The order taker was nice and greeted us when we walked in. Ordering was simple but making the choice was hard! You select the type of Kong Dog, then the filling. We ordered: 2 Plant-based Ramen Noodle Dogs, 1 Beef Hot Cheetos Dog, 1 Beef Potato Dog, Pork Dumplings in a bed of French Fries and a strawberry drink. The total price was approx. $43. The order was out pretty quickly and we went on our way to the in-laws (approx a 15 min drive). The smell of the food in the car was so tempting. When we put the food out, the crisp of the Kong Dogs stayed and the fries did as well. The Ramen Plant-based Dog was crunchy, great flavor and filling. The french fries completed the meal and were cooked to perfection which had the right amount of salt. I was told the dumplings, cheeto dog and potato dog was really good too! If you want to try something quick and different, I highly recommend giving this a try. There are some many flavors I want to try and also the bubble tea as well! Whenever we head to the in-laws, I'll be sure to suggest picking up some dogs!

Yelp
I'll be honest, I love a good corn dog. I've been so excited to try out Kong Dog but I was not impressed with our experience. It was exciting at first, there's a lot of types of ways you can build your corndog include the outside (we did the potato one and ramen) and inside (we did a half meat half cheese) plus plenty of dipping sauces. Granted, I didn't know what flavors/combos work best together. They do have plenty other options for food there too and the space is nice and large.

Bob T.

Yelp
Seems this place is permanently closed. Was fun while it lasted. The prices were way to high to keep in business unfortunately. Nobody I know went back a second time

Celeste B.

Yelp
I've driven by this spot so many times and needed something small and quick to eat for lunch. I thought they would just have Korean corn dogs but they offered so much more. The corn dogs come in a variety of flavors and you can even customize the filling. I ended up doing the potato corn dog with half beef and half cheese. It was delicious! I also ended up trying the pork dumplings which they serve on a bed of fries. They included the teriyaki sauce for dipping and it hit the spot! I also tried the ube latte and it was delicious. Overall a great spot that I definitely underestimated and would gladly come back to again.

Lefai K.

Yelp
Boys are a big corn dog fan, me, not so much. That is why I opted for the wings and fries, which were good. Boys ordered the ramen dog and potato dog. They said it was good. I would hope so, since they scarfed down 5 of em. $75 later, they are well fed. Teenagers. Services was fast and our order was accurate. The dining area is clean and spacious

Nazia C.

Yelp
I was excited to find a Korean dog spot with ramen and flamin hot Cheeto dust toppings! I tried the sparkling ginger ade with my meal, but it was way too sweet for my preference. My husband had the mango lemonade with sparkling and said it was too sweet. We also ordered a side of wings in garlic sriracha, and it was okay. The French fries are pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary. The dogs were good though!

Kacy G.

Yelp
A place dedicated to hot dogs?! You are speaking my language. Not just hot dogs; their sassy, grungier cousin: the corn dog. You can choose your inside: full dog, half dog/half cheese, chicken sausage, etc. Then comes the outside. I had the chili and potato; both good. They achieve a crispiness on the outside and a batter/dog separation that is unparalleled. Listen, if you like yourself a frankfurter - you just have to try it. If you're not a hot dog type person - maybe it's not for you. But also...who hurt you?

Christina L.

Yelp
I tried Kong dog for the first time. It was pretty tasty. The waitress was helpful. Seemed like we came during a down time, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitress mentioned that the most popular is the potato dog. We didn't get it because it looked heavy. We just wanted to have a snack. We ordered the hot cheetah dog and the original dog. Both were reasonably priced. I liked that you could choose the options of meat or cheese, and they also offer to do half and half which is super cool. I got half and half, the cheese pull was crazy! I wish I had gotten a picture of that. The restaurant had cool decor and seemed very trendy. We ordered at the counter but they also have kiosk for those that know what they want. I would definitely order the hot cheetah, and next time I'll try the potato dog.

Jeanna L.

Yelp
Kong dog is a fun place for a quick snack. My favorite is the hot Cheeto, 1/2 mozzarella and 1/2 beef. They recently added wings, fries, and other food and drink options. It takes about 10 min or so to get your food, but it's a trendy environment to hang out in. A popular spot for high schoolers.

Ange C.

Yelp
We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Always willing to try something once! I got the half mozz/half beef Kong dog and with hot Cheeto as a topping. The cheeeeeeeeseeeee pull surprised me. I would probably go for the full mozz next time. I really liked the crunch of the kong dog and it was very tasty as well.

Selma L.

Yelp
Ok this is surprising to me, but I have to revise my review. We went back when this place first opened and was "Holly Cow" and were less then impressed. Since then, this has changed to "Kong Dog" and it is so so so much better. We came in with our son, (we have a son now lol, so that's saying how long it's been since we last visited) lol!!! There's kiosks to order your food or you can do so at the counter. The restaurant was very clean and updated. Everything was very nice. We ordered a plain corn dog with honey mustard and a hot Cheeto dog. We went with the beef sausage for both. The Cheeto dog was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. It was not super spicy at all. It was very crispy and tasty. The regular corn dog was crispy and savory. The honey mustard added a very nice sweet touch. All our food was piping hot and given to us in a timely manner. All the employees were nice to us and nice to our baby son. They were very friendly. Our son was intrigued by the K pop music videos and vibing with music that was playing. It was a fun ambience. Overall a nice place for families to visit, very kid friendly dining too!

Yelp
I'm a big fun of Korean dog. I've tried almost all their flavor, my recommendations: 1. Corn dog 2. Cheese 3. Cheese dog Sauce - honey mustard + ketch up + white sugar powder These are my fav sauce combo. Eat when it's freshly made. Otherwise it won't taste good. One downside is it is full of calories. But it satisfies every taste bud. :)

Rod D.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much as I'm not a big fan of corn dogs but I am always up to try a new joint out especially since they market a common street food from South Korea. OMG, Thank goodness I did. The menu is pretty simple...9 types of toppings on the outside of the corndog from hot Cheetos to sweet chili Doritos to potatoes and so on. You then have to choose a filling. The options are either 1) beef dog, 2) all mozzarella 3) half and half, 4) chicken dog, 5) plant based 6) all cheddar 7) half beef dog half cheddar. You take a bite and the first thing you notice is the delightful crunch. Then it's followed by a burst of flavors. I also tried their Kong fries. To die for! A delicious mix of fresh cut fries, spicy honey mustard topped with hot Cheetos and parmesan cheese. Nothing like I've ever tasted but something in definitely going to taste over and over again in the future! So !

Jeff D.

Yelp
One of my exes told me way back when, "When I go out to eat, I like to order everything and just have a bite here and there". While she did that a lot to me over the years, I kinda like that mentality. While I don't eat everything I order, it's nice to sample up and take home if necessary. So by being selected and checking in, I was able to order 1 Kong Dog and a beverage (lemonade). I didn't do the lemonade and did a bottle of water instead. I ordered up and got 2 more KD's to try. I did the original, the Hot Cheetos and their Potato. All of those had the whole Beef Sausage filling. The winner by far was the Potato one! It's like an all in one meal! I love how everything is made to order as well! I'm not sure what kind of breading was used but it was light and not heavy. I would def come back here to try other variations! One less star since they have their paper baskets, overage of canned beverages, napkins exposed in the back. Having a closet added or adding some shelving would've been a neater look. It's in a strip mall so there is enough parking available.

Yelp
Spectacular!! This place is must try for everyone. I loved their variety of Kong Dogs they had. I am a person who loves Spicy food so i ordered Hot Cheeto Kong Dog and also Injeolmi Kong Dog along with Kong Dog Fries. And in drinks i ordered Mango Lemonade. Both the Kong Dogs had a sweet tinge to it. Wish there were more spicer options. Staff was very very helpful and nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. My Favorite was Hot Cheetos Kong Dog.

Susan S.

Yelp
So I went today and tried a hot Cheetos with half veinna beef and mozzarella. The second corn dog was supposed to be potato with chicken sausage . They doubled on Cheeto dog instead so comped extra Cheeto dog. I had mango drink with tip it was twent four dollars . The Cheeto dog is great recommend half beef and half cheese. The potato dog was good in the outside. The chicken sausage consistency was like a mealy hotdog . Potato perfect underneath was a layer of corn dog which was soggy . Didn't care for sausage. Third working out kinks with the order but overall they tried to make it right and comped one dog.

Kelly L.

Yelp
A great place for a snack! My favorite I usually tend to get is the hot cheeto all mozzarella dog as it packs the most flavor with the sauce and hot cheeto dust. My next recommendations would have to be the potato or sweet potato dog for the texture and definitely standout in comparison to the originally. Overall, I love how savory these are and the cheese pull is always really nice. Everything is made to order and the price is worthwhile to try. Definitely an upgrade and prefer these to normal mozzarella sticks. For some it may actually be filling enough to be a meal!

Yelp
Korean corn dog is one of my favorite comfort foods, so I had to go back to Kong Dog in honor of National Corndog Day. I've only been to the Glenview location, a small counter service type eatery. They have two long wooden tables, which makes it a good place for a casual larger gathering. Even if you're only picking up take-out, it's good they have a lot of seating as it's normally a 5-10 minute wait. I ordered my usual half mozzarella, half beef with sweet potato on the breading. Paired with sweet chili sauce, this corn dog always satisfies my umami cravings. I do wish they had an option for a full beef sausage covered with cheese instead of half and half. They added a new filling choice of chicken sausage since the last time I was there, which I would want to try next. I will continue going to Kong Dog whenever I want Korean corn dog.

C B.

Yelp
Excellent Korean corn dog. A little heavy on the sugar for my preference. Really like the ramen and the potato. These also travel surprisingly well for delivery. Not for the calorie shy.

Yahaa T.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and worth the hype. Had the hot Cheeto half hot dog and half mozzarella, it was delightful. They make the hot dog fresh after you order, it was hot, crispy and decadent the cheese pull was everything and the mayo with hot Cheetos topping is the cherry on top. Service was impeccable they kindly made me a plain hot dog for my daughter as a special request no problem at all. Place was clean, decor was cute. Definitely coming back to try another flavor. Strawberry lemonade wa a perfect balance of sour and sweet

Marie W.

Yelp
Yes. Yes. Everything yes. I am not necessarily a huge corn dog fan so I was hesitant but we went with a group who had been before. My husband got a 1/2 hotdog 1/2 cheese stick inside of a standard corn dog. He LOVED IT. One of our friends had cheese stick inside of a fruity pebbles-wrapped corn dog. One had a churro dusted corn dog. One had a Flamin Hot Cheetos dipped cheese stick. As for me, I ordered a fried potato coated cheese stick. It was heaven. The potatoes were tiny little cubes and perfect. The cheese stick melted to perfection. We will make a point to stop when we are in Chicago again. Ps. Don't go here if you're counting calories or cholesterol- but for a treat, it's a must do in Chicago.

Trisha A.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check out this place for a while and was finally able to a couple weeks ago. My mom and I went around lunch time on a weekday. We were the only ones there and more people came shortly after. The place is big and spacious. Service was good and the lady at the counter was patient as we navigated the menu. I ended up ordering the Flaming Cheetah with Mozzarella and Yam-Yam with Sausage. My mom got Yam-Yam with Sausage too. I LOVED the flaming hot Cheetos one. It was cheesy, saucy, and overall just great. The yam-yam was good but very filling, hard to dip in the sauce, and therefore kind of dry. It's also advertised as '100% beef sausage' on the menu and it's just a hot dog. It's a nice place for lunch or a snack and definitely 10 steps up from the Korean corn dogs at Hmart. I'll come back if I have a craving but I'm satisfied for now!

Stacey W.

Yelp
Crispy filled Korean corn dogs. This was my first time having a Korean style corn dog. It was delicious and I would try it again to taste some of the other toppings. I ordered the classic with beef sausage inside and had the honey mustard dipping sauce on the side. So crispy and crunchy you can hear it when you bite into it. It was fried just right. The inside was good and not too undercooked either. The other one I ordered was the Yam Yam with mozzarella in it. Biting into that the cheese was stringy and melted out. If you let it sit for a bit the cheese firms up a bit more and makes it easier to bite. The dogs were bigger than I expected them to be. I will have to try some of the other ones.

Cici C.

Yelp
I've tried to come here so many times, but when I finally made it, their cash register was down and could not take credit card. I'm not actually that surprised because previous businesses (e.g., caffe bene) that opened here tend to have the same issue, more often than other places I'd say. Knowing that, it'd be smart to have cash on hand in case they don't take cards. The location is good. Large interior. Would've been great for a co-working space, if not for Covid. I'm also a bit confused at the name. On the sign outside it says Eggsum with a cow, but the door and interior say Kong Dog. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing, just two names. Perhaps Yelp should change its establishment name to Eggsum Kong Dog, to be more accurate. Disappointed I still haven't gotten to try this place, but I look forward to one day.

Maria K.

Yelp
We had Two Hands Corn Dog in Dallas, and had been looking for something similar in Chicago since. This is basically the same restaurant: pick your filling (meat, cheese, or half/half) then toppings (large variety from potatoes, noodles, sweet, savory) and you got a Korean Corn Dog! The flavor is fantastic. We got half mozerrella/half cheddar with flaming hot fries & potatos. Both had spicy mayo topping, which cost extra (50¢) for the potato one. Really enjoyed both flavors. The only thing to make it better would be vegetarian (or halal!) sausages as an option. Note: you have to physically show your vaccine card to dine-in! Also, I think this was maybe renamed to Kong Dog? To match the UIC location? Not sure.

Yelp
I visited this Kong Dog as part of the Yelp Event 'It's Neat to Be Elite: Week at Kong Dog'. I loved its corn dog concept which is why I pursued this experience with Yelp. The concept brings a different style of character outside of the traditional hamburger and hot dog restaurants that many of us are accustomed to. For attending this event I received one free kong dog and a beverage which was redeemed once I checked in via Yelp mobile application. I visited in the afternoon and the restaurant was not crowded at all! I was acknowledged immediately upon walking up to the counter by the employee. The menu was easily displayed, and it consisted of kong dog choices and choices of filling. It made my day seeing the plant-based option which was on my mind prior to visiting being that I am a vegetarian. For my free kong dog, I selected their whole plant-based sausage as my filling and the spaghetti kong dog as my choice along with a mango lemonade. On a different Kong Dog visit to possibly a location in Chicago, I will have to try either the whole mozzarella cheese, or the half mozzarella half cheddar options as my filling. I had a slight smirk on my face while eating the spaghetti kong dog with whole plant-based sausage. Yes, it was delicious! And that mango lemonade was flavorful indeed! Prior to departing I ordered an original kong dog, and a fried potato kong dog both with whole plant-based sausage as my support to the business. Both, the original, and the fried potato kong dog were other choices I considered prior to visiting along with the spaghetti kong dog. All in all, I had a pleasant ordering experience with Kong Dog. I enjoyed my meal and would surely order from again at any other Kong Dog location. Thank you, Kong Dog for your partnership with Kesha C (Yelp Chicago North Shore Community Manager) which made me aware of this restaurant. ~Blessings~ Thomas G

Yelp
What a fun way to eat a corn dog. You can choose from beef sausage to mozzarella cheese inside. You can choose the outer too. I think it's great for snacks.

Kristianne B.

Yelp
Heard about this place from tiktok of course so i decided to try it. I'm obsess with korean food and korean corn dogs are the best. Line was a little long but as expected for a new place. I ordered 3 corn dogs but they made a mistake on the order so they just gave me an extra corn dog for it. Here's what i got in order from the top: Fried Potato, Yam Yam, Classic Holy Cow and the extra one i got was another Fried Potato. No regrets on this place. I loved it.

Mary S.

Yelp
My kids loooooooove this place! We went this afternoon, it was very busy We got the classic and the cheetah and some other varieties that all my kids adored! It's such a fun and delicious food. Everything was fresh and hot made to order. Prices are reasonable and the decor is very modern and cool. Fun Korean pop videos playing on the big screen. We will definitely come back!

Jessica M.

Yelp
I've been seeing Korean corn dog style hot dogs trending online. We were shocked there was one not too far from where we were. This was a Fun place! We got here at 11:20am on a Sunday and it was already PACKED! There were about 6 people in front of us in line and multiple people already waiting at tables. (They open at 11am on Sundays for reference) They have few options to choose from. With it being our first time we tried 4 different dogs/cheese combos. You first choose your coating.. like French Fries or hot Cheeto like crumbles. Then you choose your inside...beef hotdog, mozz cheese, cheddar cheese or a half and half option. They like to put sugar on a lot of the options. I def could have gone without sugar on my French fry one. They also have sauce options as well. Even though they were crowded it didn't take long for us to get our food..approx 15 minutes. I will say the dogs are best hot! Eat them there. Don't wait til later. They get a little stiff and not as good as they cool down. Again this was a fun experience, but I don't think I'll be rushing back. I think this place is good for kids. They would enjoy the food. It kind of reminds me of slightly higher quality Amusement park food.

Lisa A.

Yelp
Had a fun evening with my hubby and grandson. The ramen Kong Dog was crunchy and spot on but it wasn't enough for the big guy so he ordered another and that was our issue because you know how a 5 yo has patience once he's done, not. The little one really liked his corn dog plain and even such was really crunchy without the other additions. He had a fancy for the "purple " drink and I don't think he knew what boba was but he gave it a good try so I got to enjoy! I must say the plain fries were not my favorite version. But I tried the Kong fries and the mild spice with a small amount of cheese was better. I'm a fresh cut fries fan. They also serve 3 different lemonades and a few other drinks as well as cans of soda and bottled water. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is how slow the food comes out. Not really understandable. Why should you only make one corn dog at a time?

Mancow M.

Yelp
I didn't want to believe the hype. I was very suspicious as I bit into the flaming hot Cheetos corn dog with the all beef Vienna hotdog encased inside and shoved on a stick. And? The hype is REAL. freaking delicious. I've eaten there eight out of the last 10 days. The negatives? There ARE some. They do seem like they take way too long to make. I don't like that they ask you to tip while they look at you. I don't feel the need to tip for takeout. And the cashier is standing there staring at you browbeating you. When you decline to give them 20% on a take-out order they sigh and give you attitude. It's really horrible. This isn't the only place that does this but boy do I HATE it. (This is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.) The drinks are wayyyy overpriced. I have had everything on the menu. The potato one is pretty good. The others? Not so much. The novelty isn't worth it. Clever but not tasty in most cases. Interesting but yummy? No. The only way to go is the sensational flaming hot Cheetos w/ THE Vienna Beef hot dog. I think if you go with the cheese (instead of the hotdog) you will be greatly underwhelmed. Finally, I can't decide if the weird robotic voice telling you your order is ready is really cool or insincere and impersonal. I'm on the fence. What do you think?

Stella W.

Yelp
Pretty fun Place for snack! The cheese pull is fun esp seeing my 4-year-old doing it! The classic is crunchy, the yam yam is interesting like I am eating sweet potatoes dog altogether! The kiniako #8 is a must get! Sweet and savory all in one. I do hope they have more than just corn dog for variety! Can't wait to come back to try the other more unique ones

Brenda K.

Yelp
We came here for a quick lunch and we had the sweet potato Kong Dog and the Ramen Kong Dog! I really like the sweet potato one, the batter that covered the dog was chewy and sweet, so when you take that first bite, it had a salt and sweet taste! I didn't like the Ramen Kong dog, it was kinda hard when I took the first bite and it just tasted like a coat of very hard batter!

Jisha J.

Yelp
I have been to other locations before but I was really happy with the freshness and speed of coercive at this location! I got the hot Cheetos dog and it was delicious! I also got the mango lemonade which was a perfect match for the corn dog. I will definitely be back!

Vibha B.

Yelp
Great variety with plant based options. The place was very busy. I got one corn dog with lemonade and fries. Things were not rich in flavor as mentioned flavor is very superficial and light

Matea P.

Yelp
We ordered the original kong dog and the sweet potato kong dog. I took one bite of each one to try it, and the sides of my mouth were covered in grease. I didn't want any of it anymore. The sweet potato one had an extremely thick batter layer and the grease melted in my mouth instantaneously as if I was eating actual cooking oil. As for the original kong dog, I tolerated it a lot more but I still wasn't pleased. The only thing that gave these dogs flavor was the actual sausage itself, if you were to choose the sausage as the filling. I couldn't fathom getting a mozzarella cheese filling because this wouldn't possibly be worth clogging your arteries over. Next time, I'll stick to a classic corn dog.

Lala F.

Yelp
first time trying Kong Dog, and i would say it was an okay experience. don't get me wrong the corn dogs were good and the fries were just little too much sauce and cheeto dust. walking in, was just a do it yourself, but wasn't greeted or anything, we had to pick up our order when it was called on.

Linda C.

Yelp
When I found out IL finally had Korean corn dogs place opening up, I was excited and thrilled. When we arrived, it wasn't too packed which was great for us to order and get our food. We got the hot Cheetos, original, and potatoes. They were all delicious but I have to say the Hot Cheeto was bomb with an amazing cheese pull lol. It's great to come when your not hungry for a meal but just want to have a snack. I think I'll be returning once an awhile when I'm in the area but it's not a place I'm die hard crazy about.

Ryan D.

Yelp
Never had a hot dog like this before. What a great new experience. Creative flavors and a fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a new hot dog experience.

Melanie V.

Yelp
By far soo good! I love hot Cheetos and the mix with cheese and crunch just makes my mouth water writing this review lol a must try!!!!

Chai C.

Yelp
I know that Corn Dogs are very popular in Korea. Glad to see them available in the Chicago area. I tried the No.1 original and No.2 fried potato, both half beef sausage + half cheese (one w/ mozzarella and one w/ chaddar). I liked the potato flavor more because the small potato cubes outside of the corn dog were just like fresh french fries! Hot, crispy, and soft! Mozzarella definitely worked better for me compared to chaddar. It was melted inside the corn dog and very very stringy. I pulled it as long as my arm, hahah. There was about 20 minutes of waiting on a Saturday afternoon and each corn dog cost $5-$6 plus tax. A bit pricey for a snack but I guess it is the normal price for now. Overall, worth a try if you are in the area.

Yelp
Very enjoyable Kong dong here can't recommend enough. Food was great service was great and the ambiance was spectacular. I am going to make it a point to make sure I try some of the food next time I visit though I am positive it's delicious as it smelled amazing and my best friends were all enjoying it.

Yelp
I ordered the Original Kong Dog and the Hot Cheeto Kong Dog. Both of the Kong Dogs had the Half Mozzarella Cheese and Half Beef Sausage fillings inside. When I bit into the Kong Dogs, it had a crunchy outer layer. As I surpassed the outer layer, the first filling I bit into was the warm and stringy Mozzarella Cheese. It strung out as I pulled away so I had to rip it off with my other hand. At one point, I felt like I was eating a pizza on a stick.. haha. As I consumed more of the Kong Dog, I had bit into the thoroughly cooked and beefy sausage near the bottom end of the stick. Between the two Kong Dogs, I enjoyed the Hot Cheeto Kong Dog. I loved the bits and pieces of the Hot Cheetos layered on top of the Spicy Mayo. I tasted the spicy flavor as my taste buds came in contact with the Hot Cheetos and Spicy Mayo layers. It was not spicy at all and tolerated it well. As I devoured both of the Kong Dogs, I washed it down with a Strawberry Matcha Latte. It had a good amount of sweet and tasted good! The Matcha flavor was given a fruity strawberry kick which came from the strawberry layered contents at the bottom of the drink. It was a great way to top off my Kong Dog experience.

Yelp
They don't have a working restroom. Has to be a health violation right? I was so excited to come in to this place because the place I was going was closed down and bad service and no facilities kind of ruined it.

Yelp
The best corndogs I've ever tried! South Korea has taken corndogs to the ultimate level and we can now enjoy them here in the states.

Yelp
The corn dogs and drinks were absolutely delicious! Love that you can add cheese to the inside of the dog as well.

Yelp
Very wheelchair accessible. Lots of open area to wheel around and the seating is far enough apart to fit. Went Friday evening and there were a few ppl inside and in line. Being it was my first time there I had some questions but the cashier wasn't paying attention. Just stared at me so I gave up and just ordered a potato with mozz cheese. I also got the peach lemonade & fries. The potato and cheese on a stick was really good! Not greasy. The cheese pull was awesome and amazing the cheese stayed gooey. It never got hard as it cooled. Very nice! The fries were good. Nothing to write home about. Just run of the mill fries. The ranch dipping sauce was good too. The lemonade wasn't even drinkable because it was beyond sweet, even after letting the ice melt the whole time I ate. Save your money on the lemonades. If we're in the area and hungry, may stop in for a bite to try the other options.

Yelp
This was our first time trying Korean corn dogs and we enjoyed them. My personal favorite was the all mozzarella, hot Cheetos.
