Got a regular kimchi stew with shrimp added and split it with a friend, we both got charged $5 for 5 pieces of shrimp. We were told that for extra shrimp was $2 at most so we were confused. Pretty unfair in my opinion, stews with meat like beef and pork wouldn’t have costed this much. + the shrimp isn’t some extraordinary jumbo shrimp… just ur regular kind.

So yummy! I really love the side dishes! The ahjusshi at the restaurant is nice as well. Love the vibe! will go there again.

Google
I visited this restaurant with a friend and we ordered the tofu teriyaki with soup, as well as the bibimbap combo with beef soup. The service was impressively quick, with our food arriving within 10 minutes. The beef soup was served extremely hot. Each main dish came with a bowl of rice. The beef I had with the bibimbap was fresh and delicious. We received a generous assortment of sides, including kimchi, fish cake, potato, seaweed salad, horseradish, and pasta. The teriyaki tofu was sweet, simple and well made. The soup was simple and mildly flavored, but it complemented the rice well. Overall, it was a great experience; the restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. Will visit again.

Delicious sides and appetizers, strongly recommend cheese chicken

Google
Tofu house is the best Korean restaurant you can find in U district area. I have been here more than 10 times and the food is always of good quality and taste. I recommend their tofu soup and bbq pork. The picture is the beef bulgogi with side dishes and rice.

Danny T.

Google
My friend and I came in for a quick lunch and the food was super great and delicious. We got the beef bulgogi combo for two people and the price was reasonable for students like us. The restaurant is a little bit small, but clean and well-decorated with Korean cuisine pictures. The staff was fine, attentive and hospitable to customers. Overall, I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant to anyone

Google
I had the dumpling tofu soup. Dumplings tasted like frozen store bought ones. Taste and quantity of the side dishes wasn’t great, which is usually a good indicator of the quality of a Korean restaurant. Will not be returning.

Google
So delicious! Their short rib is so delicious, and I loved their soup, as well as the sides. Everything here was absolutely divine and I could not be happier with my experience.

Yelp
One of my top spots in U-District. I absolutely love their soft tofu stew and I usually go for their beef bulgogi. All their food is high quality and the service is fast. You really can't go wrong with this place, it's so delicious.

Ezzybola N.

Yelp
I love eating here and the atmosphere. I usually get the kimchi soft tofu soup. The service is also nice.
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Came here a lot since it's so close to UW and they have some solid Korean food options. They are pretty fast with their services too. I always gotten their kimchi tofu stews and this time I decided to switch it up and get their bean paste soft tofu stew instead. I really like how there was a slight nutty taste to it and it's great on a cold freezing day where you don't want something too spicy. One thing that I wish that would be better are the side dishes. Most of them taste pretty mid and I'm big on what side dishes a restaurant gives.
google avatar

Nicole N.

Yelp
I crave their soft tofu soup when I want something hot. Good portion sizes pretty filling. Service was as expected pretty decent and friendly. Nice warm feel to the place and dishes.
google avatar

Yelp
this place was not too bad! i came here because i was craving korean food and this place is not too pricey. the restaurant is pretty small, some of the tables are close together but it wasn't a problem since it wasn't that crowded when i ate here. our food took unusually long to arrive (i would guess about 25 mins?) and i was disappointed because they didn't at least give us the side dishes first. the food was pretty good but i was disappointed by the seafood pancake, which was not a crispy as i hoped. everything else was pretty good but nothing blew my mind.
google avatar

Vivian O.

Yelp
I came here after being out in the cold and the soup was so comforting!! When we arrived around 11, it was pretty empty but quickly filled up within the hour. Service was fast and I think we received our food within 15 minutes! I wanted to try something new and ordered the ham, sausage, and cheese soft tofu soup ($13.49) at a medium spice level and was so glad I did. It was yummy and is definitely filling (I had leftovers to take home) so I felt it was pretty worth it! The seafood pancake was also crispy and really good too. I wasn't too hungry, but my friend got the tofu and entree combo and also said it was great for the price! I will say the ban chan didn't impress me but I did like the variety. I would be interested to come back for the soup again!! They had some flavors I had never seen or tried before such as gut, fish roe, and octopus! The prices are also affordable.
google avatar

Marthin M.

Yelp
My friend and I personally really liked the food. It was super filling and came in a timely manner. Honestly I liked how their bibimbap wasn't too burnt at the bottom because I've had that problem before. But overall the ambiance was good and the environment wasn't too busy so it was a perfect place to catch up.
google avatar

April J.

Yelp
Super solid Korean spot near UW! It's on the edge of the Ave so it's a little easier to snag a street parking spot. The ambience isn't the greatest and it can feel crowded, that's the only reason I've knocked down a star. The food itself was delicious! Not the best tofu soup I've ever had, but their banchan side dishes were tasty and we really enjoyed their other dishes such as bibimbap and their jajeongmyun. If you ask the staff they will also refill your side dishes. I'll definitely be back!!
google avatar

Linda W.

Yelp
Good, affordable place for students looking for a cozy meal. I got their regular tofu soup which was flavourful, and really warmed me up during the winter. Service was fast and the restaurant is clean. There aren't that many side dishes as options but for the price point, it was definitely good value.
google avatar

Ally C.

Yelp
I came here with my friends during the Sakura Festival. It was surprisingly not that busy, so we were able to be seated right away. By then time we were done, the place was busy so I'm glad we came at the time we did. I got the kimchi tofu soup which was pretty good, but I think could have had a little more flavor. We also shared a seafood pancake which was really yummy and crispy. The prices were super affordable and it was a very comforting meal especially on a colder day!
google avatar

Kate G.

Yelp
Best vegetarian bibimbap in town! It's consistently delicious, high quality ingredients, and great service!
google avatar

Alan Z.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and ordered a combo. Maybe I ordered the bad dishes but the bibimbap was just not good. Everything in the bowl didn't feel like it didn't belong together and it just didn't taste good. This is the reason for the lower review. The soup was pretty typical, nothing really special but it was the best thing I got. The side dishes also weren't that good. Everything came out decently quickly and it was inexpensive.
google avatar

Jada H.

Yelp
My friends and I come here and get army stew + sweet chili wings. The food is fantastic and the perfect amount for 2-3 people to share. Not the best soon dubu but the army stew and chicken are great. Come bring your friends and try! Friendly service and very quick. Banchan included.
google avatar

Mosa H.

Yelp
My go-to Korean spot in Seattle. Their tofu/bowl combos are great for a double meal. The tofu in the soup is so soft and jiggly. The mild isn't too spicy. I like to let the bibimbap sit a little longer so the rice is crispier on the bottom. Lots of veggies and unlimited side dishes. I think they may have the best macaroni salad ever.
google avatar

Generous Y.

Yelp
Honestly my favorite tofu house on the ave. Attentive service, great sides, and tremendous value with combo portions and price. Banchan includes macaroni salad, beansprouts, fish cake, radish, kimchi, and potatoes. They're always willing to refill these too and that's a big advantage here compared to another popular spot on the ave which sometimes refuses. Could Kong be improved? Definitely, but it's my preferred tofu house around the area with consideration to service, location, and value. The taste is good but not crazy exceptional, so if you are picky or super judgmental about your Korean food, your mileage may vary. We all basically got Bulgogi or Chicken Teriyaki combos - they're simply our favorites. As combos, they don't skimp on either the meat or tofu soup either. It's the same as if you were to buy them separately, so I will again recommend the combos. Tofu soups are hearty. Meat and rice are tasty. Beef and chicken are tender but the biggest drawback is that they don't pile on the onions here. That's not a big concern, but onions are delicious especially when they caramelize with the meats.
google avatar

Mei W.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the area! I love all the dishes and the service is great! I haven't had a bad experience here at all. Their tofu soup is bomb. I recently had their black bean noodles and it was so yummy! The portion was huge too, so I was able to take some leftovers home as a second meal. :) the ambiance feels pretty chill and homely. I can't wait to try more of their dishes!
google avatar

Yelp
We've eaten here a handful of times and have always had a consistently, good experience. I'm still learning about Korean food and the servers are very nice and helpful when I have questions about different dishes. On this visit I upgraded to the hot stone Bibimbap, which is served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. The bottom layer of rice gets nice and crispy so it adds a slightly different texture to the dish. This was the first time I upgraded to the hot stone. I think it was only $2 more and in my opinion worth it. I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the tofu and we both loved it. The Bibimbap also comes with six small dishes of sides (Banchan). I love the macaroni salad and the pickled radish. This place is filled with Korean students which is always a good sign that an ethnic restaurant is serving authentic food! I will add that while the prices are a good value for what is served, this is a step up from some of the cheap student food places on The Ave. Not a fancy place, simple décor and tables, but clean and good service! I love to come here on a rainy, Seattle day. Comfort food! As a bonus, we always stop at Magus Books next door to pursue their used book selection. Magus is a throw-back, old-school book store and worthy of a review of their own. Always find a treasure of two there.

Yelp
Stopped by again recently and tried the Spicy Kimchi Pork Bowl. It was super yummy and I definitely recommend any of the dishes in the hot stone bowls. Last time I tried the Bibimbap Combo without the hot stone bowl and missed out on the crispy effect. The wait staff have also been very helpful to my vegetarian friends with guiding them as to what items have bone broth that can be substituted out.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
All the items on the menu had descriptions of exactly what the item came with (fish, meat etc.) ordered ramen cheese, I ended up getting most of my dish with fish. Had to order it again and ask for non on it, it would've been nice if that was on the menu and as detailed as the rest of the menu items. I had to pay double and ended up having to throw out the first order of ramen. Also my chopsticks had come stained with black and the dishes weren't clean.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made the trip! It doesn't look like much from the outside and is a pretty casual place, but the service was great and our food arrived quickly. The bulgogi beef was super tasty and the combo meal is great value for money. I really enjoyed the crispy rice in the hot stone bibimbap and the overall flavors, but wish there was more sauce and flavor to the rice as there wasn't a large amount of meat in it. I did find that pouring some soup into it helped give some more flavor as well! This is a great place to stop if you're in the area for a delicious casual dinner!

Yelp
Food: Excellent Portion: Generous Service: Friendly We love coming here! Owners are from LA area, serving ktown-like quality!! Go Lakers!! ;)

Yelp
I used to go to the Kong Tofu House in Edmonds, but that location is now closed. I decided to try this location instead. Depending on the time of day, parking may be difficult to find since it's all street parking off the ave, so be prepared to walk. The menu at this location is pretty extensive and there's a wide range of items and combos. I ordered a soondubu and bulgogi combo. The bulgogi was well-cooked and flavorful and the soondubu was boiling hot. In the combo, the soondubu bowl is smaller than if you were to order just the soondubu (depending on the restaurant, this isn't always the case. This wasn't a problem for me, but could be for others depending on expectations.) The restaurant is small on the inside and one person runs the front end entirely by themselves. Food arrived quickly and was hot, so I would definitely come back here again.
google avatar

Irene K.

Yelp
I've been coming here for five years. Love their combo meals and their refillable sides (as most Korean restaurants do). Service is quick. The vibes is just like most college campus restaurants. You go in for a quick bite and you're out! The portions are typically too big for me to finish in one meal so I get a to-go box and split them into two.
google avatar

Mia Z.

Yelp
We got Uber eats today from Kong tofu house! We ordered bibimbap combo which is bibimbap + seafood soup. And teriyaki chicken combo which is with soup too. Over all the food is decent(mine was good but husband's wasn't as much..) - the teriyaki chicken had no sauce? Maybe they forgot to pack him the sauce. Chicken was seasoned but not flavored enough. Banchan was decent and pretty big.
google avatar

Edna D.

Yelp
We've been coming here since my two daughters were student of UW. It's a small restaurant by the Ave, packed with students every time we come for a soup. Since my children love Korean soup, this place is a go to whenever we are around the area. Portion size was just right and the price is fair for the food you get and the restaurant is open late. Can't get enough of the sides: pickled radish, bean sprout, cucumber, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes kimchi and fish cake plus the tofu soup is so comforting. The bulgogi is a hit too. The service is fast and attentive.
google avatar

Sharece B.

Yelp
Yum! My colleague took me here for my first day working on campus at UW. It was so tasty and wonderful! The hot stone bibimbap was scrumptious. I ordered it with the beef, though meat averse folks could easily order the tofu and enjoy a fabulous meal. If you're looking for a fun place to get some delicious grub, stop by!
google avatar

Marina B.

Yelp
I had lunch here with my friend the other day. I had the Tofu Bibimbap and my friend their Bulgogi Combo with soup. On top of the already big portions we also got an array of tasty sides (like pickled radish, kimchi, potatoes, pasta salad) for free. And they seem to refill them as often as you want! The food was pretty good. All of it for under $15? It's that value for money that will surely bring me back here!
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to check this place out one random day. My first visit i got teriyaki chicken combo. It was honestly not that good because there was barely any sauce on it. I mean, kinda my fault for going to a korean tofu housr and getting teriyaki. I went a second time and it was phenomenal! I got their stir-fried Rice Cakes and the galbi combo. Soooo bomb! The banchan is not that good tbh, only their mac salad and sweet fish cakes. Kimchi was disappointing since it was not at all fermented enough. The servers were really nice and sweet both times i went. Overall, i would probably place the 2nd (close first) to my favorite korean tofu house on the ave. Great environment and super yummy. Will come again!

Yelp
Came on a cool, rainy summer day in Seattle and my bf and I wanted something hot and spicy. Kong Tofu House looked poppin, so we decided to give it a try. It's a small restaurant very close to UW on the ave. As soon as we came in, we got to choose our seats. Within 2 minutes a waitress came by to take our orders. We need a few more minutes, so we asked her to come back. About a minute after, a man came by and asked if we were ready to order. We were not and I felt the staff was rushing our experience. After we order, soup and banchan came quickly. Banchan: Overall, wasn't too impressed. The pasta had way too much mayo, potatoes didn't have much flavor, nor did the radish and kimchi. Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef (Medium): Medium wasn't all that spicy and there was a lot of beef in this dish. The broth was a bit on the oilier side. The purple rice on the side was also hard and crispy. The portion size was perfect for me. I was pretty stuffed after one soup. Overall, Tofu House was exactly what I needed on a cold rainy day, but because of the rushed service and mediocre soup, I don't think I will come back.
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
For a restaurant in u district, this place honestly isn't that bad. If you're just looking for cheap eats and want to get some warm soondubu look for further. I ordered the kimchi soondubu with beef and my boyfriend ordered a original beef soondubu with spicy chicken with cheese combo. Just an FYI, if you order the soondubu combo, the bowl will be a little smaller. The spicy chicken with cheese is definitely a must! It sounded kind of gross at first but I gave it a try and keep coming back for more! There are a couple of side dishes that come out with your order as you can see in the photo. My boyfriend said the kimchi tasted a little "chemical" and the water tasted a bit weird... but if you ignore all that and are just coming for the chicken and soondubu, this is a decent place!
google avatar

Cyan T.

Yelp
Really surprised Kong Tofu House doesn't have a perfect 5 stars! I ordered a Grilled Mackerel + Assorted Soon Dubu ( Tofu Soup) combo and everything is delicious. They give you really yummy banchan (side dishes). I like that they give you a lot of different things and it's a pretty good size for 1-2 people. The mackerel was super tasty. Just like my makes it. I also love that they give purple rice instead of regular white. Im Korean so I'd say my expectations are pretty high but Kong exceeded them! Can't wait to go in person and do a full review. Insta: @supperinthe6
google avatar

Lexi N.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to get great Korean food on a budget!! Combos get you a bowl of sundubu AND a main dish (I always get bulgogi) for 18 bucks, and all the great banchan. I always get the assorted soup, spicy. Banchan here is typical and what you'd usually find at many other Korean places. I just love the variety and how each bite just contains so much flavor. Meat quality is pretty solid for the price. Whenever I eat here I always have leftovers for a mini lunch the next day. I've never been disappointed with this place. Ps They also sell beer and soju!
google avatar

Li L.

Yelp
U can't deny their portion is fair and good. I had bibimbap, and the pot was big, but not hot enough I like the seaweed and the fried egg on the top Price is a bit higher than other Korean restaurants on the ave, but really wins on portion. The categories in vege is more varied. And they have more side dishes also with larger portion! Have a try with their radish and pasta salad! But I prefer sprouts and fish cakes in the other restaurant The person who helps to order was a bit impatient, but the server was nice! 4/5 for food 3.5/5 for service

Emily N.

Yelp
I've only ever had soondubu here but it's soo good and for a great price. Love the sides too
google avatar

Jackie L.

Yelp
I first found out about this spot in college many years ago and to this day I still tell everyone this is my favorite place to go to whenever I want tofu soup. I don't live in Seattle now and I would occasionally still drive up to the ave to get my fix of tofu soup. Surprisingly the restaurant isn't super busy most of the time so usually there isn't a wait before getting seated. Atmosphere is pretty nice and I never feel rushed whenever I eat here. But the real reason why I keep coming back is because their tofu soup is legitimately top tier. I've been to multiple other restaurant and they could never compare to Kong's. Keep up the good work !
google avatar

Bryan L.

Yelp
On the Ave you have two pretty comparable korean tofu soup options: Kong and Korean Tofu Kitchen. I'll be honest, I definitely prefer Korean Tofu Kitchen more for their better side dishes, cheaper prices, and better staff. But Kong is a decent option too. Parking is going to pain for both but you're on the Ave so what do you expect. Walking inside, Kong definitely gives off the same vibes as most Korean restaurants. Food and side dishes are wheeled around carts, slightly aged and worn interior, and loud patrons. We got seated quickly pretty soon after entering. I ordered the marinated chicken with the tofu soup option, however, the waiter misheard and gets me the cheese chicken instead. That's okay, I thought, but my calories for the day were stretching pretty thin because of it. The food itself is pretty decent, chicken came out sizzling and juicy and the soup was alright too. Knocking down a star because the waiter also charged me a dollar extra for the cheese chicken even though it was his fault for mistaking the order which I found out later.

Kealoha S.

Yelp
I got food poisoning here. I had a bibimbap combo with beef for dinner yesterday and when I got home I couldn't hold anything down. I experienced chills, fever, and other symptoms of food poisoning. I know it has to be from Kong's because I didn't eat anything else except for a wrapped protein bar at home. My friends ordered the bulgogi pork and kim chee pork and felt fine, so it must have been the veggies, meat, or egg in the bibimbap. Just wanted to write this review so people are warned.

Yvonne Yiyao X.

Yelp
Mediocre food. Arrogant staff. Awful environment. I'm really surprised how they are still in business. The level of disrespect to their customers is beyond extreme. Have you heard of servers rushing customers to eat faster? No? Well there you go. Facts only. Seriously though, who hurt you?
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
Such rude customer service. My friends and I came here earlier today and asked one of the servers to take a picture for our table. He responded that he was "too busy" and immediately walked away, despite the fact that it literally would have taken him 5 seconds to help us. There was another server waiting the tables as well so it's not like he was the only one available. Later on, we had finished most of our side dishes and asked for refills. The same server said that he wouldn't refill any of the dishes for us unless we finished *all* the side dishes. Like, hello? You can't even refill the empty ones? The food here is good but this was seriously one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I've come here a few times in the past but will now be taking all my business to Korean Tofu House down the block.
google avatar

Rahma A.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite Korean place. I've tried this other one in Chinatown and it was just bad. Kong Tofu House is the best/worst place to eat at and I'm going to tell you why. In terms of food, best I've had. Me and my friend always go here for lunch after our 9:30 class and it always hits the spot. Im convinced its becoming our comfort spot to be honest. If you haven't tried their Rice Cakes, Tteokbokki, you have to its super good. The skewered styled one is the only reason why we always go there its just so good. Its number 50 on the menu I think. I know that because I go there like all the time. As for service, it is horrible. Theres this guy that can be rude in so many levels you have no idea. Honest to god, the only reason we put up with his crap is for those rice cakes and that's it. We always try to be respectful and nice every time but he comes off the same, abrasive. Me and my friends don't pay any mind to the service now. We just go there to eat those rice cakes and try to pay no mind to it
google avatar

Mia C.

Yelp
Came in because I was craving tofu soup. It was really busy when I walked in, but the staff was super friendly and I had a barley tea and water in front of me within 1 minute of walking in and sitting down. I ordered the beef tofu soup, medium. I really liked that I was able to customize the spiciness. The soup came out in about 8 minutes. It was served with purple rice, and 6 side dishes. I loved the kimchi, tofu, potato, and bean sprouts. The cucumber that came out seemed like it had been sitting for a while and was not super crunchy. For the last side, I would have liked a green onion pancake side like some of the other Korean tofu houses, instead of the mayo-y pasta. Overall, service was great, food was good, price was fair, and I would come back again.
google avatar

Krysten P.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I's go-to spot for some bomb Korean food in U-district! Food has always been good in house or to-go. Service is great. Affordable as well. Doesn't disappoint.
google avatar

Ella Y.

Yelp
Junk with a capital J. Banchan was gross, Kim chee super bland and watered down, kimchee stew was super sour and watery, barely any beef.
google avatar

B T.

Yelp
Got the spicy squid stone bowl. Was ok. It didn't have the nice smoky flavor you usually expect with something cooked like that. The side dishes were good though. Tried a friend's Jap Chae and it was also good! Another friend got the soup and that was salty.
google avatar

Valerie W.

Yelp
I thought this place was pretty good. Solid 3-3.5 stars for sure. My beef Bibimbap came out sizzling and the rice got some great crunch on the bottom. I liked how it was purple rice. It was a huge portion not including all the banchan it came with. Veggies were fresh and the beef was tender and overall flavorful. I'm not typically a huge fan of all the banchan but they had yummy spicy kimchi, pickled cucumbers, and some teriyaki potatoes that were pretty darn tasty. The mac salad had waaaay too much mayo for my liking. All in all good food though. After I took a seat they tried to take my order within seconds - fine, but at least let me take a peek at the menu! After my food arrived I was never checked on again. Can't give more than the 3 stars due to service. The place is small so it fills up fast. Luckily I had just come after most of the lunch rush and found seating OK. You pay up front as soon as your finished (they did not bring a bill).
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
Great food! I ordered many items on the menu that was recommended to me for my family pot luck. I got the spare ribs, spicy pork bibigo and glass house noodles. All my family loved it! I will be coming back!

Yelp
I haven't explored this area much, but I came here on a whim a few times based on a suggestion from a friend. I haven't had any experience dining in - the 3 or 4 times I've done, I've ordered take out. As such, I can't speak to the level of service at all, and I can only review this place based on the food itself and the value. My go-to order would have to be the Galbitang. It's good, don't get me wrong, and for someone that craves Galbitang on a cold day, this one hits the spot. However, it's not amazing by any means. It's not going to be a meal that'll leave you speechless by how delicious it is - it's just good. One thing I'll note is that because I've gotten takeout, they actually put all the soup in a takeout container, which they then wrap a plastic bag around. Because of this, soup can spill out of the takeout container into the bag, leaving a bit of a mess when you unravel it all to finally eat. I also tried the spicy kimchi pork bowl on my last visit, but I found it to be pretty spicy (spicier than regular spicy korean dishes). Nothing really stood out about the dish either - they overloaded my order with rice, and the egg was overcooked. This place can be on the more expensive side, but I think it's because with every order, you get a bunch of side dishes too. However, for one person, I actually think they give too much food, and so I find myself paying for food that I don't even end up eating. I wish they had cheaper/smaller entree dishes. There's street parking right outside the restaurant and throughout the surrounding area. Be wary of going during peak hours, as college kids tend to flock here from what I've seen. Also, the loud korean music that they play indicates that this is more of a late-night spot to go with friends, and by no means should it serve any other purpose. If you're really carving Korean, this place doesn't hurt to try, but just be aware that there may be better options out there.

Yelp
Bad, bad food! Came in for some bibimbap, figured any Korean place should have that one down. Nope. Hot stone Bibimbap is indeed very hot, the rice on the bottom gets too crispy and hard. The veggies seemed to be overlooked, just a mush. The servers were friendly, but really took a long time to come take the order, had to ask for water, and had to come up to pay at the register since no one would come take the cards/cash we had waiting with the check. Very disappointed to stumble on a place like that in Village. Update: It seems to me that there is a new management that has taken over since May, so my experience may not reflect that of what it is like now. I am looking forward to giving this place another chance. The new management seems to care more about their customers' experience here.

Extremely rude waitstaff. Sat down for less than 2 minutes before being yelled at by our waiter to hurry up and order. He also did it to the table right next to us and judging from other reviews this restaurant has an issue with customer service. Food is pretty mediocre at best and the tofu soup is kinda bland. The side dishes are not very good and the kimchi tastes store-bought and flavorless. Definitely don't come here if you want to enjoy a decent meal around UW.
