The view is absolutely wonderful, and the location is a bit quieter since it’s set back from the beach. Both the fish and the truffle pasta were excellent, and the wines were also very good. A great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal with a beautiful atmosphere.

Tasty food, lovely ambiance & friendly service. We had the seafood buzara tagliatelle for 2 people and the price was exactly as the one on the menu and not double as another reviewer wrote previously. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. The four of us all shared the pasta dish and it was enough.

We had a very pleasant lunch at Konoba Cigale, a calm and rustic shaded restaurant set right above the sea with a stunning view of the quiet bay. The setting immediately puts you at ease—relaxed, local, and unpretentious, yet with great attention to detail. The menu leans on traditional island flavors prepared with fresh, local ingredients, and everything we tried reflected that rustic, authentic style. We started with shrimp tartare with smoked mussel mayonnaise, which was refreshing and creative. The homemade bread was perfect for sharing, followed by gnocchi in scampi sauce, full of depth and flavor. Among the mains, the turbot fillet was delicate and well-prepared, while the noble gilt-head bream (orada), sold by weight, was grilled to perfection. There was also some fresh bonito (palamida) offered from the kitchen that added a nice local touch. For dessert, we enjoyed a light and sweet almond semifreddo with caramel—a lovely way to finish. The wine selection matched the food beautifully: • Malvazija Radovan (0.75 l) – crisp and local, a great match with seafood • Grk Frano Bire (0.75 l) – an outstanding Korčula wine with character • Plus some Jana mineral water to keep things balanced. The staff were professional yet warm and smiling, making us feel welcome throughout the meal. Service was attentive without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Konoba Cigale combines fantastic views, authentic cuisine, fresh seafood, and good local wines with genuine hospitality. A place where tradition, location, and service come together perfectly—a real gem in Mali Lošinj.

To be honest, this restaurant has become to be my favorite! Every single dish is delicious! Everything is super fresh, stuff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I have been visiting this restaurant for 3 years and it has never disappointed me! Highly recommend to have a dinner there!

Extraordinary and very hostile staff, tasty food. If you want something remarkable visit this place. You’ll have opportunity to taste homemade food, seafood prepared in modern but traditional style. This is place for the most demanding guests.

Great food, very good service, menu is much better than most of local konobas. We tried gazpacho with shrimps and white Fish carpaccio, both were delicious

The restaurant has a menu with allergen information, but the server was not knowledgeable about allergens and made mistakes with my orders. After the situation was resolved, the black risotto was enjoyable.

An unforgettable experience! The waiter was the most charming and professional we've ever encountered – truly a gem. The food was an absolute fantasy, every bite better than the last. The view was breathtaking, the kids were happy and entertained, and this mom finally got to relax and enjoy in peace. A perfect evening in every way. Highly recommended!
