This place never disappoints. The workers are super friendly and attentive, food is always fresh and delicious, and atmosphere is super chill. Service is usually quick. They have tons of food options and their coffee is so yummy. I love that they give you a free espresso shot of their house blend and have authentic, exceptional dishes. The cafe is small but tables are spread out enough to where you're not crammed. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a unique brunch experience.

Maria was my server and her smile made me feel right at home, even though I was dining alone while traveling on business. The coffee drink I had was a wonderful treat of caramel, espresso, and vanilla ice cream. The chicken tostadas were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the shells were crispy, fresh, and delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and chic. It was busy but service was quick and friendly. It’s clearly popular with the locals and seemed like a beautiful place to have a brunch party! I wish it was near me!!

Kooben’s charm is immediate! Warm service and a relaxed vibe set the mood perfectly. The service was top tier! We ordered the Tacos Dorados y Fideos and the Pancakes de Maíz. Tacos Dorados y Fideos: Three crispy flautas stuffed with chicken, topped with lettuce, black bean purée, sour cream, and queso fresco. The flautas were nicely seasoned and crunchy, and the toppings added a great balance of creaminess and brightness. Pancakes de Maíz: Corn pancakes with berries and honey: pleasantly sweet, light, and a nice corn-forward twist on breakfast pancakes. Only real complaint: the accompanying noodle broth soup didn’t work for me, it felt flat and didn’t complement the flautas the way I expected. Overall: inventive, tasty, and worth a visit. Fix the soup and it’s a five-star spot.

I’ve been here about 5 times and I’m blown away every time! The food and service is unbelievable! The coffee is the best I’ve ever had—honestly! I love the pistachiolatte. The corn pancakes are out of this world delicious. The portions are great and prices are fair! Highly recommend!

With smoothies costing $7 and a coffee $4 we tried the basic portions of soup and flautas. I included my receipt it still cost $60 and a $5 tip for a party of 2 adults and a child. We paid $15 for a nicely decorated sweet bread and berries. The portions are sadly really small. Very little meat for what they charge, nothing spectacular flavors are below average, much better choices elsewhere. The only good thing was smoothie and the bread. The setting and decor was pleasant. The server brought out our food with no silverware it took about 5 minutes after asking for it. We left still hungry and went somewhere else to eat. Again hardly any meat here 😭 😭 😞 😞 very dissatisfied. And only one bathroom for everyone customers and employees.

The food was really good but the service was slow even though it wasn’t terribly busy. Took 10 minutes to get a menu and about 15 minutes to get water with no wait for a table. We did order mocha’s which were very good, rich flavor. The Kooben burritos very good and very filling. The food was very delicious, just wish the service was a bit better. Staff did seem preoccupied with something at the counter for awhile.

10/10! So worth coming here! The food was delicious, we got pozole, green and red chilaquiles, pancakes, plantain with cream and cheese, the Oreolatte, a cafe de olla, dark horchata, tulum and a mimosa…. Couldn’t resist to try the cajeta toast! Prices are worth for the portions and the flavors! Also, our server was very good! Will definitely star coming here and make it our spot for brunch!

Absolutely fantastic! KOORBEN CAFÉ MEXICANO is a hidden gem. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and the inviting aroma of fresh coffee and authentic Mexican flavors. The drinks are rich and perfectly crafted, and the food tastes like it’s made with love and tradition in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant—perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, or even getting some work done. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. If you’re in the area, you have to stop by—this place is a must-visit!

Yelp
Wonderful!! I wandered in without doing any research so I asked for suggestions for a coffee and a snack. I got the iced coffee and arepas de platano. Friendly staff and a relaxed casual setting great for a date or a lunch meeting. The coffee was smooth and clean with just a hint of sweetness!

Yelp
Food was great, service was attentive and friendly. It was very busy with a lively ambiance. Their coffee is a must-try.

Yelp
This was our first time at Kooben; it will be the first of many. Breakfast was amazing. Had the Montaditos (open faced pulled pork). I recommend it. A hearty portion and not too spicy. (They bring hot sauce to add if you want. And not some bottle, but an actual sauce made by the chef). The coffee selection was intriguing. I went with the Cafe De Olla (which they gave a free tasting). Glad to see a local restaurant place for a unique and flavorful breakfast.

Yelp
Food is great. However service needs work. Nobody smiles. We walked in nobody wanted to make eye contact. I had to ask for help with the seating. Service is unorganized and needs a friendlier staff.

Yelp
Second visit to KOOBEN Cafe Mexicano and they did not disappoint. There wasn't a soul left hungry or unsatisfied. A true fan of Cafe de Olla. Had Tacos Dorado, plantains, and they were great selections. Mazalatte was a top notch drink to wrap it all up, espec for a coffee lover. Fixings, service and ambiance showed no decline, keep up the good work and very good service!
