I've bookmarked this place to try, but haven't gotten around to it until now. The location is rather interesting, with limited parking (unless you're using the lot across the street where Oriental Tea House is or the church). The rest is mostly street parking.
There's a door on the side street that directs you to the main entrance where the patio is which is around the corner.
The place is cute with lights strung outside in the patio area. As you walk in, there's a few seats, the register, and all the ice cream for scooping as well with a freezer filled with pre packed pints.
They limit samples to only two per person. The flavors are all interesting and creative - Indian inspired. The texture was nice, thick, and creamy. We weren't disappointed with any flavors we tried - koolfi, mango lassi, banana, butterscotch, strawberry tamarind, guava.
They also have snacks like sandwiches and other desserts like ice cream sandwiches and the falooda noodler.
The service was nice. The price point is rather high for the quantity you get though. The sampler was $15, which is ok, but the scoops were just so small! The falooda noodler was priced at $15 for a 16 ounce cup, which is also very high for a dessert.
I'm ok with the prices if they have a little bit more quantity. Otherwise, it can be viewed as pretty steep. We are a fan of the flavors and texture though, and will share this "hidden" place to our friends.
