We came here after a long day at Disneyland — three girls, starving and looking for somewhere cozy to eat and chat 🍺. We first tried to get into OC Lau, but the line was insane, so we walked next door and found this Japanese izakaya with great ratings.
So glad we did! The place has a relaxed vibe, super friendly service, and a full photo menu (love that!). Every dish came out beautifully plated — and, honestly, everything tasted as good as it looked.

🍣 Negitoro Donburi
Absolutely loved this one. The rice bowl came topped with three pieces of fresh uni, paired with bluefin tuna belly and scallions. The fish and uni were sweet, rich, and super fresh, balanced by crispy seaweed. Every bite melted in my mouth — a must-try!
🐚 Uni Scallop / Uni Toro
If you’re a uni lover, this is heaven. The scallop + uni combo was my personal favorite — thick, buttery scallop with the creamy sweetness of uni. One of my friends had the uni + toro version and said the fatty tuna was amazing too.
🔥 Seared Sushi Bomb
A fun “five-flavor” sushi plate — salmon, tuna, snapper, halibut, and yellowtail. I love seared sushi in general, and this one was perfection. Each piece had a different sauce pairing that worked so well with the fish.
🍄 King Mushroom Steak / Sodduk (Sweet & Spicy Rice Cake Skewers)
The mushroom steak was unexpectedly good — juicy, smoky, and full of umami. I’m not a big fan of rice cakes, but if you are, the sweet & spicy sausage-rice cake skewers are worth trying too.
🍋 Lemon Highball
You can’t go to an izakaya and not order a drink! This Lemon Highball was one of the best I’ve had — super lemony, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. (Half a glass in and I was already turning red 😆)

The food looked exactly like the photos, which is rare these days. The three of us ended up chatting and eating for almost three hours, just enjoying the food and the vibe.
Highly recommend for a girls’ night, casual date, or post-Disney dinner. Great food, good drinks, no rush — just good times 🩵
