KORE Steakhouse has a stylish and comfortable atmosphere with plenty of seating, and the staff deserves credit for being very friendly and attentive. Parking is a bit limited, so plan ahead if you’re coming during peak hours. The drinks leaned on the pricey side, but the overall vibe of the restaurant was inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the ambiance. I ordered two ribeyes, requested medium, but both came out well-done and arrived cold. The kitchen did reheat them, but by then, the experience had already slipped. At $34.99 per steak, two entrées plus gratuity brought the bill to $99. For that price point, I expected better execution on the steaks, especially since steak is the heart of the menu. Overall: Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, but the quality and consistency of the food didn’t match the cost.

I RECEIVED A NOT COMPLETE HOOKAH & RECEIVED NO DISCOUNT OR OFFER OF REPLACEMENT….WHERE’S THE WATER PIPE????? After a $10 parking fee and $20 entry. I ordered a hookah and it took an hour and a half to get to our table. The manager comes over and does apologize for how long it was taking for the hookah to be served and offered shots. When I asked for a discount instead, he said they couldn’t provide a discount. At this point my hookah still had not been delivered. Still trying to be supportive, I accepted the shots. We finally got the hookah and it was burnt with low smoke output. Couldn’t smoke it at all. When the hookah was being delivered. The hookah server never tested the hookah at the table, but I asked her at that moment if anything again could be done about this and she said she would go talk to the manager and never came back. My hookah server never came to the table to check on us at all the entire night, but everyone else did. This was my first time coming here so I didn’t know who was who. A server came to the table and we told her about the burnt hookah and she said she would go talk to the manager too, but never came back. I ended up having to go near the entrance and spoke to the hookah server and I get asked “how long did you have the hookah”. If she did her job and checked on the hookah then she would’ve known there was an issue. That’s not my job as a customer to chase the hookah girl around the club. My friend goes and talks to the manager, who finally comes to speak to me and ask “what’s the problem now”. I tell him about to burn hookah and he asked how long I had it. I told him that we told the server about the burnt hookah and couldn’t smoke it and he says well you should’ve only spoken to the hookah person. How is that possible if the hookah girl never came to check on the table. Isn’t that her job? I’m a music artist and I have a few hookah endorsements. I have never been to a spot that served hookahs where the hookah server didn’t check on their people. Then wouldn’t even fix the issue and I couldn’t even get a refund. When my other homegirl goes to speak to the manager, she comes back and tells me the manager won’t come to speak to me because I hurt his feelings, but he offers her a free hookah and she tells them she didn’t pay for the hookah, but they never offered the person who paid for the hookah one, at this point its 3AM. It’s a little late to offer a free hookah when the server never came to check on the table and could’ve done that earlier. This is not a spot to come get cute, buy a hookah and vibe. I wish I could give the service a negative set of stars. It’s sad really because I don’t mind spending money and I’m a big tipper but this ain’t it. To my big spenders like myself who come outside to enjoy a hookah and a vibe do not come here and waste your money and be screwed over like I was. But support the promoters, because they were great. I’m sure they be in other spots.

Absolute Chaos – Worst Experience Ever at KORE If I could give this club 0 stars, I would. My first time at KORE was Saturday, and it was a complete nightmare. The event was run by the janky promoter Lenoxx ENT. I sent 8 artists — 6 showed up with their paying guests — and only one got to perform. And that one? He had to pay extra just to skip the line. Meanwhile, latecomers kept going on stage while my artists waited for hours. We arrived around 10:15 PM after waiting in the parking lot because of work obligations. I communicated this, signed up at the DJ booth, yet none of my artists performed. By 4 AM, when I spoke to the host, he claimed we “weren’t on the list,” even though my artists were #12–18. He gave me the dumbest look, said he’d be back, and never came back. I personally spent over $400+ on entry, drinks, and a bottle/section — and was offered $60 as some kind of “comp”. This isn’t about the money; it’s about respect, principle, and professional integrity. This promoter’s incompetence gives KORE a bad name, and if this is the experience first-time visitors get, it’s guaranteed I will never return. Owner of KORE, you need to know: This was unacceptable. Okay, Kore is the place to be. They service is amazing. The food is amazingly good. The personnel are polite and respectful. The atmosphere works for a guy's night out, girl's night out, or couple's night out. You can make reservations and enjoy a huge backroom setting for parties. They make good drinks. I can talk about Kore all day. No complaints here. Just go and enjoy your time, people.

I’m reaching out regarding my recent experience at your venue on Father’s Day. I took my husband out to celebrate and paid for the entire day, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The show we purchased tickets for was scheduled to start at 9:00 PM, but by the time we left at 9:42 PM, it still had not started. Since it was advertised to end at 11:00 PM, the delay felt like false advertising and completely disrupted our plans. In addition, I ordered drinks during what was promoted as “happy hour” — including messaging that stated “every hour is happy hour” — yet I was charged more than expected. This left me confused and concerned that I may have been overcharged. Given the occasion and the amount I spent trying to make this a special night, I’m requesting a refund for the inconvenience. I’d also appreciate clarity on both the show delay and the drink pricing. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

The description for Kore steak house said fine dining and steak house, very misleading! This is more hookah lounge/ strip club that serves food. The steak was not quality at all, the first one was cooked well done I orders med rare, the second was more med well. The server said the cook was by himself, as the reason my steak was over cooked. Service was super slow, we sat at the bar for about 15 min before seeing an employee, but I wouldn't be concerned with customer service as much if I knew I was getting 20% either way. It wasn't what was expected from the descriptions to start, but I still have it a shot, very disappointing experience. Girlfriend's scallops were good.

Yes, the food was good. But worth a 2 hour wait good? I think not! Also, don’t pay extra for VIP tickets. Waste of money. Instead of blocking the entrance to the artist area (prime seating to the stage), they continued to allowed people to sit there and then have to be moved to the back of VIP with no visibility to the stage. This happened until the artists arrived at about 10 PM. Mind you, doors opened at 8. Oh, let’s not forget about the menu pricing. Prices were at least $5 more than what the menu said. Sounds like price gouging because you had a concert that evening. SMH. Tacky! We don’t even have to talk about the bug in my drink. The picture should speak for itself. I can’t preface how terrible the service was! They had 2 waitresses for the whole bar. I would have left had I not paid my money for the concert. Don’t waste your time or money.

This restaurant was an unexpected treat. Because they cater to the late night crowd they don't open until 5pm. We were there at 515 so we had the whole place to ourselves. Don the general manager sat and served us. He was kind, patient and absolutely attentive. The menu is very small but there is an option for everyone from burgers to chicken sandwich to salads to steaks with fresh potatoes and veggies. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfection !!! Don was attentive throughout. The bar had limited beer but a great selecting of alcohol beverages with the coolest changing menu behind the bar. Go check this place out. We loved it and already bought another Groupon to return !!!

This is NOT A RESTAURANT. If you go at dinner time there will not be any one there. No food just NOTHING. The place is gross. The owner will have some excuse why no food is being served. They need to STOP selling coupons on Local Flavor. You will not ever be able to use the coupon. Personally, I think this is a laundromat, if you know what I mean.

Oh my God. This is NOT a place where you want to take your wife to, okay? I bought the certificate from Local Flavor. Had to call the place a few times prior to going since they were closed during normal hours. I finally started to suspect that this was a black owned restaurant. I finally went in on a Friday night when they were open and the place was ENTIRELY EMPTY, except for 2 other people sitting at one table. What is wrong with this picture? I thought this was a "STEAKHOUSE", but it's more like some weird low class dance club or something. It took the waiter 20 minutes to come back to tell me they didn't have what I ordered, just to let you know how much they care about their nearly empty place of customers. I ordered something else instead. They finally brought the plates out about 10 minutes later. No condiments on the table, no utensils, no napkins. I had to ask for those. The Wagyu burgers were served on buns that look like they came from Walmart where you get 12 buns to a bag (the cheap stuff) and they toasted them to make the cheap stuff look upclass. The little burgers were maybe 3 inches around and pretty obvious that they were out of a package. I had to ask for ketchup, which was served in a little plastic throw away container with a lid on it. I will say the bacon burger was pretty good.

Omg...it was the strangest place I have ever visited, we got there at around 6:00, not a single person was in there. It was more like a nite club than restaurant. I had bought a local flavor for $25 for $50 dollar's worth of food. Well I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio, house...I was served a smallest glass ever seen of Pinot Grigio, like the old days back in the 70's. Well come to find out each glass was 17.50....not even 4 ounces of wine... 17.50. And the atmosphere was horrible, I really think it's a front for running drugs or whatever. Please please don't buy a local flavor for this business or ever go there. It will give you the creeps. Local Flavor...think twice about the businesses you represent...Scary. And food not that good...not bad but not good. ...Good luck with keeping this place open...

Bought a Local Flavor for this restaurant and was excited to try a new place. I knew we were in trouble when we arrived on Friday for dinner and the place was empty. My wife ordered the ribeye and I ordered the wagyu beef burger. We waited about 40 minutes for our food and it arrived cold. The mashed potatoes that came with the steak would have been pretty good if hot, but they were room temperature. The steak was also cold and had no color to it. It tasted ok, but I want a nice sear on my steak, especially at $35. The real disappointment was the wagyu beef burger. It was $18.99 and the description says 8 oz wagyu beef patty. The picture on the menu is the same one the owner posted on yelp, which looks pretty good. I wish I had taken a picture of what I received. The patty looked preformed, but maybe not. It was about half the thickness of a small McDonald's burger. It was literally the thinnest burger patty I have ever seen. The piece of lettuce was about the same thickness. As far as taste, all I tasted was the bun. Needless to say, I won't be back.

My wife and I went to try a new restaurant and tonight it was Kore Steakhouse. The owner actually greeted us outside, as he was doing handy work, but made sure that we were attended to as soon as we arrived. It was a large space and appears to be a new restaurant, so there were not many people there. The service was good. Our server was very attentive to our needs and our appetizer and dinner were timed perfectly. Our food arrived and looked very appealing. I had the Ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli and my wife had the Salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. We both enjoyed our meals. The owner stopped by to check on us even though he was very busy, which I thought was a nice touch. My wife and I will definitely be going back and will be sure to tell others. I think people should give the place a chance and ignore the unfair stereotypes like I saw in the previous review.
