Korean Kitchen Tofu & Galbi

So glad we found this place, so far is the best Korean place we've ever tried. Food it's so flavorful and tasty. The portion of everything it's great. We ordered the fried chicken sweet and spicy ( note its for at least 2 people).

I went for lunch with my family. Staff were super friendly, vibe was good and food was amazing! We ordered 5 dishes. Everything was really really flavorful. Loved that spicy pork was actually spicy! Portions were very generous. Definitely coming back for dinner. Would be perfect for a night out with friends! highly recommend!

We went inside and immediately felt comfy. The place looks clean, neat and well taken care of. Our server came to our table and helped us. He was very polite. The food was AMAZING! It tasted super fresh! We ordered the spicy Bolbogi, the chicken karagee and the #2 bent box (short ribs were fireee) happy with every meal.

Plays current meta Korean pop which is cool. Vibe setting is very low key for the time I went so it was chill. Food was good but I think it'd be best if a different stone Bowl was used rather than a ceramic coated bowl. After receiving my food, it was sizzling for at most 5 minutes but afterwards it felt like nothing was crunchy which is the most exciting part of a stone Bowl. Nonetheless the experience was good and everything tasted fine! Would come here again.

Best banchan with so much variety I definitely recommend their garlic pork belly and tteokbokki the regular and the rosé version. They also have a good variety of soju. Waitstaff is very attentive as well.

Went right before close and the woman who was my cashier was really kind in accommodating me so close to closing. She was very helpful and answered my questions and food came out quickly. I got the bulgolgi bento and it is absolutely delicious! Really looking forward to continuing to come here. The amazing food and kind service have made a repeat customer out of me.

Recently remodeled, friendly service. The food tastes good, I recommend the Soft Tofu soap!

Not so tasty… Egg and spicy beef soup were alright, but the broth in the cold noodle was so weird that I had to put a lot of vinegar in it… seafood pancakes seemed to have used the wrong pancake powder that it is not authentic

The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the place is amazing!!! The service was friendly and gave us all the sides we asked for when we wanted more.

Excellent soon tofu and the other food of course. We are here almost every week. The staff are quick and friendly.

This place is so cute and cozy! The vibe is super homey and welcoming, service is great. The food portions are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. I ordered the dumpling ramen, and my boyfriend got the rose tteokbokki--both were amazing, but that ramen really hit the spot. Also... the THAT TEA. Absolute bomb. I could come back just for that alone! 10/10, I'd totally come here again. Perfect spot for comfort food and a chill atmosphere.

Total disappointment. Kimuchi wasn't even fresh. I ordered tofu soup. It was watery. My hubs ordered a spicy bulgogi bowl. No flavor and very hot. Never again.

Being Korean, I was excited to find a Korean restaurant in the South Bay, however this restaurant was a bit disappointing. The food was edible but not as authentic or tasty as I hoped. It didn't taste homemade and more market produced. The food was overpriced especially for the area. $11 for egg rolls and $45 for a hotpot that was mostly broth. When I think of hotpot, I'm expecting the pot to be filled with goodies but theirs barely fed 2 people. Although the servers were nice, they were busy and customer service was lacking. It was hard to flag someone down for more water, more side dishes, or get the check. For a $70 average at best meal, I'm not sure if I'd return.

This is our go to Korean spot! Love how we don't have to go all the way to Kearny Mesa/Convoy area to get yummy Korean food! Place is always clean! Service is always great and efficient!

Always a pleasure to dine in this restaurant. My staple dish is always their bulgogi spicy ramen, careful if you order the very spicy (quite the spicy jump!) Friendly service every time, very attentive in refilling the complimentary side dishes. Great place to dine for groups of less than 4 people, and the noise level is never too loud to hold a conversation.

We got the dinner special and it was super filling! For $25 you get an entree + a side. Staff was very attentive and came at the right times. It wasn't too loud or quiet even though we came when it was generally empty. Will be coming back!

Quick seating and service. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. If you're in the area, it's worth trying if you're in the mood for Korean food. I am used to usually having Korean bbq, but this is a decent option, and the price point isn't bad at all. The ambiance is relaxing and low key, it's a great way to wind down after work. There were a few parties when I came in with lots of ordered picked up for takeout.

Second time here and so far good experience! You get what you pay for, portion wise! The food is very good! Service is good, depending how many workers there are and how busy it is. They play K-pop music and the place is relaxing and chill.

I've been craving a good tteokbokki for the longest time and I'm glad I came in today. I got a Thai tea with my tteokbokki and it really hit the spot. Service was also really good and the food from the other tables smelled so good that I would definitely come back.

Korean Kitchen is our favorite Korean restaurant south of Convoy. Been coming for years. Decided to try the BUDAE JJIGAE (ARMY STEW) and it did not disappoint! Very flavorful with lots of ingredients. Huge serving that can feed 3-4. Will order again!

The food here is really delicious. The soondubu is especially good. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and I love the plant theme. They play Kpop music, and as a Kpop fan, I love it. The server is really nice and explained the menu to us. I would recommend this place to people who love Korean food.

We had the Bulgogi and the Tteokbokki and they were both so delicious!!! The servers were all very nice and the restaurant was very clean! We will definitely come back.

As always we were welcome as we walked in the ambience is nice and quite and the food i ordered which is the salmon bento was very good the salmon was crispy outside and moist inside! The service was very good courtesy of Taylor..will definitely coming back.

While I was told before coming here that the food isn't as good when you get it to-go, I had no choice but to do so since they do not allow dogs inside. The staff was super friendly during my short time picking up. The food was okay. There was flavor to everything, but each dish was just missing a "wow" factor aka something to make it truly special. Sadly one of my favorite foods that I tried was the fish cakes that they provided on the side. Started with the Mandoo (which were really crispy and tasty, but the sauce it came with added nothing to the dish) and the Karaage (too much breading and couldn't taste anything else besides how salty it was). For entrees, I tried the Spicy Pork Bulgogi (honestly, not spicy at all, but the overall flavor was decent enough) and the Galbi (best flavor of any dish of the day. Would definitely get this again). If I come again, I would have to come in person.

Recently got into tofu soup/stew, super great place. Spice was great, steamed egg was perfect and the sunny side up egg was runny and yummy. There is ambient lighting not super busy/noisy when i went. Service was great!

We consistently visit this restaurant in search of comfort food, and it never fails to satisfy our cravings. The food is exceptional, particularly the seafood pancake and meat dishes. Additionally, we appreciate the unlimited side dishes they offer.

This place never disappoints. I love trying new things here and its expanded menu has me excited to try the new summer menu. The Dduk Mandi Guk is delish. The potato starch disks are like dumplings and the beef is tender.

False Advertisement & Blaming Customers! I ordered the combo 5 & B, but came out with 5 & A. Insisted there was an error with the menu when customer was not informed about menu changes. Therefore, that is false advertisement. Employee (older lady) said it was my fault when they admitted menu was wrong. If it's wrong or the promotion is not happening let customers know ahead of time, not when the food comes out. Very disappointing, blaming customers for their lack of effort changing the menu. As of right now (11/14/24) 12:00- 12:03pm, both staff on-site are frantically cover parts of the combo. Admitting fault! No apologies! I can't believe their carless action and lack of accountability has come to blaming the customers!

I've ordered from here a couple times in the past and food was okay. Tonight the kimchi chigae had almost nothing in the broth. So I paid $20 for broth. Disappointed.

Came by here after grocery shopping at Ranch 99. Yes we are that couple that shop for food only to dine out for the day. Not ashamed to say that out loud because we are always too tired & lazy to cook after we get home LOL! This was our first time here. It's pretty quiet, quaint, dim hole in a wall spot. There were two waitresses and one bus boy who killed it! Amazing customer service. Filled our cups and banchan without us even asking. Love the pickled radish/carrots, cucumber and cabbage kimchi. Also love the fish cakes. For our entrees, we ordered fried tofu and Kimchi Pajun. Both served with soy sauce vinaigrette. For my main entree, I had Galbi Bento Box. It came with 3 Chicken & Veggie Dumplings, Japchae, white rice, orange slices and side salad. Tim had Pork Belly Kimchi Jjim. We enjoyed our lunch with Strawberry Good Day Soju.

Very good, spiciness is perfect for each level. Each ramen was fantastic.Their beef ramen was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The broth was so rich and full of flavor--you can tell it was cooked for hours to get that deep, comforting taste. The beef was super tender and just melted in my mouth, and the noodles were perfectly chewy and satisfying. Everything about the dish just worked together so well. On top of that, the service was really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole meal even better. We've been coming here since we moved to SD. If you're looking for a cozy and not so crowded spot with amazing food, I definitely recommend checking this place out!
