Food court is amazing! I'll definitely come back here to eat. The basement has a lot to see and eat but unfortunately two of the upstairs have nothing!

Gorgeous mall with products for every need! Prices are a little up there in most shops, but you're paying for great quality goods! If you dine in the food court, just pay for a to go box up front for a dollar so you're not scrounging for 50 cents like I was! Many foods to choose from with savory, sweet, hot, cold, spicy, and tangy meals and snacks! There's also a neat security robot! I'm not sure how it works, but it was a charming machine nonetheless.

Pretty empty mall. New Korean owners took over recently. Let's see if this can be revitalized. Food court ok on ground floor

It was the best value for your money. We visited this food court 3 days out of 6 days in LA. It was guaranteed satisfaction and we didn't want to take a chance at other restaurants or places. We had Tonkatsu for 15 bucks. It was very delicious and huge portion. My children ate 3 times. We had stonepot bibimbop at Gamjabawi. They opened the store the latest. Most of them were closed at 7pm. But they opened around till 7:30. The stonepot bibimbop was very filling, fresh and healthy eat. We also had spicy cold noodles at Youngdong noodles. We made it large order for extra $3. It tasted very very authentic. It was perfect appetizer. Perfect spicy, sweetness, sourness. We had Soondae soup. There were so much sonndae and other fillings. I can eat this any time any day. Their side dish or banchan were made fresh and changed every time i visited. They also have H-mart where you can buy more food and groceries. It is free parking I highly highly recommend this place.

Lots of people find this place functional and interesting. Many can be employed by local entrepreneurs. There’s a unique experience where you feel like you’re surrounded by kind and caring individuals.

I came to see what's new with the Korean Plaza has been a while, but I still like going to the grocery stores and competitions on each floor is good. I have to say the service is great and can easily over be over looked if you don't know Korean. The place had a good amount of goods that gives options for gifts and drinks. Along with hair salons that the top one seem a lot more attractive when I saw it. I imagine the value of the style is more impressive when their style is above average. Overall I liked coming in for a drink and have to say they have to fix some of the plumbing in the restrooms.

I've visited this mall a few times over the years and overall it seems like a nice shopping center with friendly vendors and a nice casual atmosphere. However, be warned. I would not recommend visiting here unless you fit into the appropriate ethnic demographic(s). The security in this place WILL profile you and shamelessly follow you around the mall without hesitation. I've noticed this issue in the past and I've tried not to take it personally. But I'm afraid it's only gotten worse. Today, I stopped by to grab some treats from the downstairs bakery, and the security would not stop following and eyeballing me from the second I walked into the building. Born & raised in Los Angeles and I've never felt so unwelcome in a single location in my life. I appreciate the lady working at the bakery, she was very sweet & friendly. But aside from that, this is not a place to be if your appearance stands out in any way.

TL;DR: don't come here to window shop, security may harass you. Had a rather unusual and unique experience on my visit to this mall. I just finished shopping at a few of the kpop fandom stores around this mall and decided to check to see if there was anything else I could get at this mall. While there does seem to be a great music store inside as well as some fun boutique toy stores that had some memorabilia, my window shopping visit got interrupted half-way when a security guard came by to ask if "everything was ok". He then proceeded to stare into my bag before I could say anything and then walked off. What the heck?!? Pretty sure I was just racially profiled (I'm Latino and so was he) or I guess they didn't like me popping in stores and not buying anything - either that or someone complained who knows. Anyway, that left me with a bad taste in my mouth so I only checked out the first couple floors. Anyway, go here if you know where you are going and intend to buy something.

Visited this plaza with my mom and daughter. Huge H-mart at the end that we shopped at before we left and walked around the plaza. Cute stationary shop, music shops, clothing stores, salons, food spots, etc. Best find was a cute photo shop (Photoism) where my daughter and I got some cute pics in with Sun-jae! The photobooth itself was very spacious and you have several options on the backgrounds including kpop idols and there was a stool in there for the vertically challenged (like my daughter) and there is a hand held remote which makes posing and taking pictures easier. It was a fun afternoon!

Tucked away nicely in the heart of k-town is a delightful surprise waiting to be discovered. By chance, I stumbled upon it while on the lookout for an h-mart. I recommend parking in the garage and having your fees refunded when you finish your shopping. The highlight of this place is definitely the food court, which offers a wide array of choices. From dumplings to ramen, pho to bibimbap, they have it all. The prices may be a tad steep (averaging $15 per dish in any of the eateries), but if you find a place that serves generous portions, it's definitely worth it. My visit was on a weekday afternoon, and it provided a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere to enjoy some delicious food.

A time capsule! Welcome back to 1991! Koreantown Plaza from the outside looks drab and un-inviting ! However don't judge a book by its cover they say, once you park in the structure and enter the plaza it's a different world! Full of energy and people on the weekends-it a happening place! The weekdays when I been here is a little more calmer and quiet. Seriously though, this place hadn't changed in appearance since the 90s! Kinda charming in a way. H-Mart and the International Food court are the attraction, but the plaza had so much more. A cool place to visit and explore in K-town.

Back in November 2022...why did I forget to yelp about this place after 13yrs from the first time we visited?? The Bay Area is lacking a Korean plaza tbh...the food here is legit and delicious. Sorry I dont remember the names of the shops we ate at, but I remembered what we ordered: Tteokbokki, gimmari, cheesetella, bibimbop, kimbop, some baked goodies...to name a few... Love this place and can't wait to come back for more. Kasamida!

the best place in ktown for cheap generous food, there is almost every korean food plus pho, chinese food, and dumplings u can get here ! i love it for the taste and price, it feels like ur at home here in korea :)

In Koreantown, must stop by somewhere. Free parking. 3 stories. Clothing, beauty, and HMart. Prices for ready-made food seem to be cheaper here. Mall bakery was a bit expensive. Their clothing sizes seem to be petite sizes. Saw this rice cake bakery that seemed to be interesting. Wanted to buy but didn't. There's a food vourt. Lots of friends gather. So many choices to eat. Next time come back to eat. That cheesecake was tempting.

Love this retro style mall! My favorite spot is Tonkatsu House. I always get the big tonkatsu- huge serving and the meat is lightly breaded and thin. Love the homemade sauce it comes with too!

I had read about the Plaza before visiting and was intrigued. This Plaza was worth being in the Los Angeles traffic to visit. Free underground parking with validation. The day we went, parking was free, no tickets were distributed. There are three floors of specialized Korean shopping. Super clean environment and fairly quiet. There is a nice Korean food court with 12 establishments. They all looked good, had big helpings of food and staff were cheerful. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area. Free 30 minute WiFi.

This is a cool little shopping mall. It has 3 floors inside the mall and a bunch of small shops, restaurants, clothing stores, and a grocery store too. I went here around 1:30pm on a Saturday and it was a little crowded. The grocery store I noticed they have inside this mall is HMart! I thought that was so cool how they have a grocery store inside of a small mall since I don't see that much. Only thing I noticed about that grocery store was that it was smaller than other places I've been to. This mall also has a nice water fountain area that a bunch of people use to sit and rest near. It was cool since this mall doesn't have too many benches to sit at and sitting by the fountain was fun. Another thing I liked about this mall was the food court! They have a good variety of restaurants to choose from and many tables to dine at in that room. I'd recommend this place! There's many stores to visit here and sometimes this mall has events inside, such as events where you can spin a wheel and win something. It was also clean inside and the food court had a good variety of restaurants to choose from! Next time I go here, I'll be sure to get something to eat at the food court!

I was craving Korean soup and came upon this Budae jjigae! Overall it definitely satisfied my craving! For a $15 meal, the soup was more on the expensive side but I would still say that everything was pretty standard

Koreatown Plaza is a three-level indoor shopping center and is one of the three notable Korean indoor shopping centers with Korean supermarket in Koreatown (Koreatown Galleria, Koreatown Plaza, and MaDang Courtyard). Parking: Free garage parking with validation (e.g. H Mark) up to 3 hours. Basement level: H Mart, Korean bakery, K-pop music store, food court, etc. 1st floor: Clothing shops, a massage shop, 2nd floor: ABC Appliance, hair salons, etc. H Mart here isn't as good as Galleria Market and the food court is located in basement level without an outdoor patio, but this shopping plaza is much bigger than Koreatown Galleria and the appliance store on the 2nd level was a pleasant surprise. Sono Felice by Christine (https://www.yelp.com/biz/sono-felice-hair-salon-los-angeles-3) on the 2nd level was one of the more popular business in this shopping plaza. Overall I have a slight bias on Koreatown Galleria over Koreatown Plaza, but I am still a fan of Koreatown Plaza due to decent selection for food court, an appliance shop with all of essential needs, and more Korean clothing shops to check out.

I've been coming here occasionally since 10 years ago and what I love about it is how much it hasn't changed. The look and taste are great Andd nostalgic. Their donkatsu is what I used to come here for but this time I tried Seoul Soondae and it was so good. It was very authentic! The variety of restaurants in their food court and the free parking makes this one of the easy places to meet friends. There is also a bakery and coffee shop where you can hangout afterwards. If you haven't been and are looking for new places in ktown, you should check this place out!

This place reminds me of an old 80's/early 90's shopping mall. In fact, it could be a stand-in mini mall for the Stranger Things kids :D We shopped around, not too much on the upper floors, more of women's clothing. The lower level, where H-Mart and the food court is, has a few shops that my kids liked. The parking lot is large enough and you can enter the mall on the lower level. When we visit LA again in the near future, we will return. We enjoyed our time here :)

I visited this plaza for the first time this past week and it had a bunch of shops and H Mart. There were a couple of shops that had cute little knick knack kid toys/utensils/stationary/mugs and my niece bought a few cute Hello Kitty items! I bought my daughter a cute Pochacco calculator keychain and my husband a Naruto mug. The next time I'm in Koreatown I will for sure stop by!

Honestly I don't even know where to start. I wish I had been super hungry that day in order to eat way more and try many more of the restaurants. When I tell you the food was f**king good it was GOOD! Literally everything was freaking delicious. I'd highly recommend going in walk around and see what catches your eye. I doubt you'll be disappointed. Not to mention the prices were amazing! The flavor of the food was 15/10 I know it clearly looks like food court vibes but the food is not food court vibes. Go check it out it will be the best thing you've done this week

I love their food court options. Delicious omarice and is my favorite. This is a great food court and so easy to order and pick a place to sit down. I come here with my family or even myself if I feel like having Korean cold noodle broth soup or omarice

The food court. The food court. The food court. Corn dogs, tonkatsu, dumplings, cheese, sushi, bibimbap, beef bone soup, pho, etc. are all there. Do make sure to arrive by 6 pm as some of the food places close early if business is slow. I especially like the mochi bread at the bakery outside the food court that is near the H mart.

If you're looking for Korean food, this is the place to go. There's so much variety! All Korean, including fast & fried stuff, castellated cakes too! It gets loud & noisy during lunch time on a Sunday, so be prepared! But it's worth it. There are even cafes, a bread shop and H Mart on the same level. For the parking structure, tickets can be validated at the food stalls, but the gate was up when we arrived, so no fee! Yay!

Located in the middle of Koreatown on Western, this mall is aptly named Koreatown Plaza. Parking is free with validation. Technically it's free 3 hours, but they usually do not strictly enforce it. The building is old, but it has all the essentials for Koreans. There are restaurants and a food court with authentic Korean food. If you have never tried Korean pastries, the bakeries must be on your list. The supermarket is on the opposite end of the food court on the 1st floor. There is Hanmi Bank and Verizon, as well.

The selection of stores and products are great! The parking is also good, and there are a few great kbeauty shops inside!

The Parking booth was out of service so Free parking for the day! In any case, this is the one of the best spots to park in k-town as you can get free parking for up to 3 hours as long as you buy an time, and with an H mart being right there at the entrance, it should be easy to find something that you need like a drink or a snack.

It's like half shutdown, half just ordinary, that's it. Hopefully it thrives again because Covid is no longer a threat, time to do business.

My daughter wanted to explore Korea Town plaza since we're in LA. We visited Thursday, it is outdated in all areas. There are plenty of little shops for beauty products, jewelry, anime shop, pastry shops, HMart and a international dining area. My favorite part was the food court. I had Kimchi pork stew and Tebokki from there; super authentic taste. I will return again just for the food. Restroom was pretty clean. The shops will vouche your parking pass for three hours if you purchase something. Reminds me of China town LA.

I enjoyed the foods here in general! There's some really good and some are okay. I can't recall the name of all the foods but first pic has all the best foods including Korean fried chicken, Sundubu Jjigae, Sushi . I don't recommend the fried potato cone or Gimbap, they are okay. It's clean and service is great here! I like to go with a group of friends so we can order all different foods to try

Anytime we are in town, we usually stop by the Koreatown Plaza at least once! Koreantown Plaza has restaurants and a food court, specialty stores that sell apparel, jewelry, handbags, cosmetics, and any other necessities, and a bookstore. I usually like stopping by Art Box, as they carry all things kawaii of stationeries, plushies, and other collectibles. We usually go to the H Mart that's located downstairs, hit the bookstore on the top floor, and maybe grab a snack from the food court. I've been meaning to catch some Korean movies in their theater, but haven't had a chance yet! A good handful of stores in the upper levels were closed. Small clothing shops scattered throughout but mainly empty. The stores in this mall carry Korean brands so it's nice to browse for out of the ordinary things. There's a nicely sized home and kitchen supply store as well where they sell nice odds and ends you may not find at your local Target or Walmart. I managed to get a few things. There's a small toy/stationary shop on the lower floor as well as a Kpop music and album shop that sells merch, posters, and albums. I enjoyed the bakery in this mall as well. They carry unique Asian style pastries, cream filled bread, and other nice treats not easily found usually. Overall I enjoyed the walk through this mall and did some light shopping for unique merchandise and great pastries. They also have a food court.

It's been almost a decade since my last visit here. And it hasn't changed, true to the word of my fellow Yelpers. It really is dated. But I felt that its being old fashioned sorta still gives it some kind of character. I honestly felt like I was flashing back to those back-in-the-day days. It isn't your typical mall. Every store holds their own character showcasing their unique products. It's almost like having a bunch of local mom-and-pop spots crammed together in one building boasting products of fashion to beauty to home goods. They even have their own grocery store. But I fell the centerpiece of this entire structure is their food court. What made this visit even better is the fact that parking was FREE. It can use an update, sure, but for now, it's still a decent place to come through.

A good place to park in the garage and walk around. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated! We arrived and found parking easily. That's a plus. We went inside the mall and was surprised to see multiple levels. It definitely felt like a mall, but there were not that many stores of interest for us. There is a grocery store, food court, K-pop store, gifts and cute stuff store, bakery and other stores. Unfortunately, the exterior and interior is lacking updates. I have received a bunch of recommendations to try the food in the food court. Why not? I love the Korean food court back home so I will give it a try. There were so many options so we tried a couple of spots. They weren't bad at all. Check this place out for a snack, purchase K-Pop stuff, eat at the bakery or to grocery shop.

I am a big fan of Korean food and this place was perfect. The options of shopping and great food is a great balance that allows you to have shopping time to burn off the great food you have enjoyed. The stores sell a variety of items you can purchase and enjoy from necessities to day to day items.

Boring place, not much pretty clothing shops. The food court are all Korean food. We stayed there for 30 minutes.

I am an old Caucasian woman who doesn't like to dress like everybody else. I have always liked Japanese and Korean aesthetics so I was hoping to find some interesting clothes......and boy did I. The Korean designed and made clothes are spectacular. The fabrics and attention to small details as well as how well they are assembled are stunning. The colors are muted and sophisticated. There are many, many women's clothing stores offering great tops, dresses, pants, hats, coats, etc. Most pants would be too short for most American sized women but great for petites. If you've always wondered why Asian women dress so well, this is one of the reasons. Now I get to dress that well too. We did not eat there but did note that there were some amazing choices and the food court was very crowded and busy. Also the market has many items not found at Ralphs, Pavilions or Trader Joes. Great, great mall and now the only one I will probably ever go to.

This is my first-time visiting. It surprised me how authentic this indoor mall offers the Korean life experience without flying to Korea to feel it. The food court offers high-quality and well-prepared dishes.

Our time in Koreatown was about to end. And I still had not gotten to enjoy some good Korean food. I asked a few locals for some suggestions and they pointed me to the Koreatown Plaza. Koreatown Plaza had a lot of options. I was able to get an order of Ginger soy chicken wings for my daughters and for myself I got an order of the kimchee and beef with rice. The portion for the kimchee and beef was huge. It could have fed three people easily. Every thing I ordered had good flavor. The food court was packed full with families and groups of friends enjoying meals together. It appeared to be a hotspot to get Korean food.

Previous reviewers are right. Most shops are closed. Mall is dead. The only spots worth going to are the supermarket and the ABC store to buy home goods. There's a couple of bakeries and a music store that looked interesting, but it was so dead that we didn't feel motivated to shop. Really sad. This was my first time trying to walk around in KTown rather than park and go to restaurants. It's a bit sad. I think there are just so many other Asian food and shopping malls, especially outside of the City. If you are coming from places like OC or Bay Area in NorCal, you may be disappointed. And it's not a quaint walk around like Little Tokyo. Still glad we went to check it out though.

Love this food court ,but little pricey compared to SF. Stop here always when visiting LA. This time I booked the hotel at Rotex western inn. Right across from the plaza. I will come back, but not anytime soon .

Mostly all the stores are Korean. Kind of took me back to Korean but to a smaller, dead, old mall in Korea. There are multiple clothing boutiques and I wonder how they are able to stay open since it's so dead. There are a couple fun stationary shops and a bakery I enjoyed. There's a food court but looked pretty standard food court food. The mall overall is a little boring and not much to do.

This plaza/mall was pretty cool! Free parking for 3 hours. A food court that entices you to try all it's food! Decent restrooms! Not too crowded. Great all around. They have bakeries that sell some of the best Asian desserts. Not to mention, they sell the famous jiggly cheesecake here.

OMG, this place is extremely cool! Of Course, like so many malls, it used to be WAY more cool before 2020. Still . . . many interesting places to visit; too many facial cream places that no one has ever heard of within the 3 floors. The bakery and Market are both ridiculously interesting. Also, if you purchase something anywhere within the plaza, you automatically get three free hours of parking.

Who says brick and mortars are going away? Especially when it becomes a center of sorts for a local community? The plaza itself looks very dated from the titled flooring to the modest water fountain. On either side of the plaza is a pillar of necessity for a community- a market and a food court. However, there was a vibrancy to the plaza when I visited during an afternoon. It's definitely a place where multiple generations come to, with seniors at the food court enjoy a meal or just sit there with each other's company. Children with their parents are occupying the video games and electric rides in that very same food court. Quite a few shops are in between the two ends on this multi-level plaza. The food court serves plenty of Korean food options like bibimbap or Jajangmyeon, but also non-Korean cuisine too. The HMart on the other side of the plaza has plenty of fresh produce, a meat and fish butcher, and tons of wonderful Korean knick knacks and beauty products. The parking is a winding one-way multilevel endeavor where the guard at the gate seems to only be there for show and not to collect a parking fee. The plaza itself is modest and like I said earlier, very dated. However, I keep coming back because there's nothing quite like this structure in Los Angeles. Well, save for the Galleria up a block. Found this place while exploring K town with my family and friends - H mart store and several stores with a large Korean food court stores to try. The place is clean and practicing mask requirement post COVID-19 - which made us feel safe. This place is definitely safe to visit and explore!

There's 2 of these plaza within the LA Koreatown, but this is the one I always frequent to. Now, you would think "How do this plaza survive if there's hardly anything inside and if so they are a bit on an expensive side?" I will tell you, the food court, skincare boutiques and most definitely the music and gift shops are the ones that make this plaza thrive. I like getting my skincare essentials in one of their stores here and all the people who works there were friendly and helpful (and samples are always a plus!) I love love their food court and all the foods they offer here. They're actually good quality (and quantity) food fares here and not your typical fast food court servings. They also have an HMart inside so when you're done stuffing face, you can empty wallet and get some more of your fave korean groceries here. These are the most places I actually frequent to. I may get some cute stuff from the gift shops or browse around music and posters in the music store, but it's rarely I do this. This plaza especially the upper floors are on an empty side. Stores are scattered here and there but mostly they're clothing stores. You can find most korean product here that are hard to find elsewhere, so if this is your jam then you're in the right place.

This place is pretty similar to koreatown galleria. Inside you'd find many clothing stores, banks, daycares, cell phone stores, dessert places, and a food court. Just an old fashioned asian shopping mall. I personally don't find anything interesting enough for me to buy from this place but I'd have to say their food court is probably the best! The food court has so many good authentic Korean food including cold noodles, kimbap, toppokki, pancakes, etc. And their price range is super affordable with huge portions.
