From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special—but nothing could have prepared us for the exceptional service we received from Kenny. Warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, Kenny elevated our entire dining experience with his genuine hospitality and effortless charm. He guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations, clearly passionate about the food and making sure we enjoyed every bite. Every dish arrived perfectly timed, and he made sure our drinks stayed full and our needs were met without ever being intrusive. It felt like being taken care of by a close friend who just happened to know everything about food and service. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly crafted with care—but it was Kenny who made the night truly unforgettable. His energy, professionalism, and attention to detail turned a great meal into a perfect evening. If you’re looking for a place where both the food and the service are top-tier, this restaurant is it—and if you’re lucky enough to be seated in Kenny’s section, you’re in for a five-star experience. We’ll absolutely be back—and we’ll be asking for Kenny!

I have been to Korilla a few times and have always had an excellent experience! You can either order individual dishes, or order platters for a group that comes with sides included. We got a wagyu beef platter that was exceptional, as well as another mixed meat platter. There are so many different sides, and our friends were helpful in letting us know what they all were. I loved the potato pancake dish, as well as the soak tofu soup. We were here for a few birthday celebrations, and they brought over cake for the birthday people, and ice cream for all of us as well. You do have to cook the food yourself, but it is a fun and faced paced experience! Drinks are good, and also very reasonably priced.

Had a great time at Korilla celebrating a birthday. Valentina was great! The food was good with variety and a lot to eat. We tried the stampede special combo order and that was a great choice. Brought a cake out for the birthday which was really nice. Definitely would bring people back here for another occasion.

i have been to this location a few times now and it never disappoints! not only is the food and drinks delicious, but the service is excellent and the music is great! as soon as i entered to the moment i left everyone was super friendly and polite. we have had different servers every time, but the recent time we had a gentleman named Michael, and not only was he super friendly, but informative as well! he really knows what he’s doing and made us feel comfortable the whole time. i will definitely continue to come to this location in the future

Went with a total of 5 people for a birthday. The atmosphere and the energy of the place is amazing. We got the choice of three different platters of meat. We went with the beef one and a beer tower. We also each had a large soup (fish one was divine). Super fun on a first date or just to hang out with friends. Recommended to all ages ! I would make a reservation before attending as they can get very busy!

This place is so awesome. Since day 1! We’ve been here probably 12-15 times since they’ve opened. We have brought all of our family and friends. And it’s always been great. But it had probably been close to 6 months since our last visit. They have a new, bigger menu now, including more diversity for a la carte options and more “less sweet” alcoholic beverages. (It is still decidedly sugar heavy, but far more options *read wines, sake, more beers etc). The service was as awesome, or even more so, than ever. The lovely Ana has greeted us at the door since day 1 and she continues to be very warm, kind and welcoming. Our server, Valentina, was outstanding. She took the lead and started the cooking, even though we had been there often, demonstrating the best way and sequence of cooking the platter we ordered. Not only are the meats here great, but the sides, salads, soups and ferments are far more than just fillers. They are huge contributors to a well balanced, meat heavy, pure delicious and fun dining experience. If you haven’t eaten here yet, do yourselves a favor…. ps - I forgot something very important - while the grills here are extremely hot, the venting system is amazing. The fans at the tables are incredibly effective and even when the restaurant is completely full, you never leave with the smell of smoke in your clothes as sometimes happens with many other open grill restaurants.

First time dining in Korilla and the experience is superb! Staffs are very friendly and service is top-notch, they assisted us well all through out. Food combo is so great and tasty! Shout out to Valentina and Elena for very satisfying customer service! Edit: We tried their karaoke too and we had so much fun! The room is cozy and neat! And the lights and sounds will really make you go partying!

Came here when I visited Calgary, my girlfriend and I got the small value combo for two as well as the potato pancake. The meats were so good, loved the pork galbi and garlic galbi. We were also very impressed with the sides, the soup was really good and so was the egg and corn cheese. I really liked the sauce it comes with. We over ordered a little and had leftovers that were still tasty the next day! Their daily specials seem quite worthwhile as well. By far the most memorable and best kbbq I've had. Being a Toronto native, this beats daldongnae out by miles :)). Please bring Korilla to Toronto 🙏🙏

Yelp
We had some time to spare before catching our flight back to Toronto and craving some Korean food, we fortunately stumbled upon this place while looking for some options. There restaurant is split into two section - the ground floor which has the kbbq and the rooftop (oktop) which has some additional menu items. Both sections were nicely decorated and prepared with side dishes ready at the table upon entering. We ordered the kongbul which was served with broth, and it was the perfect amount for the 2 of us. Although the kongbul was delicious on its own, the highlight of the meal were actually the side dishes - they were some of the tastiest side dishes I've ever had at a Korean restaurant. Each was full of flavour and fresh, and tasted home-cooked. Our server was friendly and attentive and was quick to refill our side-dishes and waters. One of the servers also gave us some japchae (as service) which was such a pleasant surprise and was soo tasty! Fingers crossed Korilla will expand to Toronto!

Yelp
The service and atmosphere is beyond amazing for good vibes. It's upbeat and the customer service especially our waiter was so friendly and great overall and attentive. He brought French fries complimentary for the kids which I thought was amazing so will definitely recommend for all the families with kids to come here. My kids loved their meat and dipping sauces. Steamed egg and sides were good. They were missing some sides that I would have loved but overall still a great experience. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 stars is because I live in Orange County and their Korean bbq is hard to beat so I've tasted what a 10/10 Korean bbq is and now it's tough to beat but I think overall for Calgary it's definitively in my top 5 Korean restaurants. Personally I like the sides at Nam San more. Korilla has karaoke so it's very busy on weekends and at 8:00pm. Recommend reservations.

Yelp
Family came here on a Sunday for dinner as we had a craving for Koreab BBQ. And this restaurant did not disappoint! There are plentiful street parking available. Inside the restaurant everything was so well done. From the decor, to the number of tables, to the vibe. It was busy this evening but it didn't feel crowded. The place also has a rooftop patio as well as a patio out front. We chose to eat inside. The chairs are hollow so that you can put your jacket or purse in it. The menu had a lot of choices but we settled on the Alberta Moo-oo platter for two for our family of four. And there was more than enough food to go around. The platter comes with Samgyeop Sal (pork belly), Daeji Galbi (pork shoulder), Hang Jeong (port jowl), Gochujang Galbi (spicy pork shoulder). Everything was so delicious. It also came with rice, some side dishes (kimchi, salad, beets, potato), egg soufle, soup, and selection of sauces. Our waitress was so nice and gave my son complementary fries as well as tteokbokki for the table. Like I said everything was great and well done. They have a good business as the atmosphere is great and the food is wonderful. The family thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Staff were super friendly.

Yelp
It's located on the iconic and lively 17th Avenue. It's always very busy and packed with young and cheerful people so try to book a table before going to the BBQ restaurant or you and your friends might find yourself waiting for a long time. Great for large or small parties. It's trendy and stylish. It's a relaxed place and nobody's rushing you up to leave. The staff was very, very polite, efficient, fast and helpful. The waitress was kind and she gave us all the steps to follow on how to cook the meat and all the sides. The food was great. The meat quality is as great as all the side dishes. My friends and I got the 1410 Gorilla which it's great for a party of 3 people. Portions were good enough for all of us 3. We even have some leftovers for later. It can be pricey if it's just for you or a party of 2 people but for larger parties, prices are reasonable. We even have a small scoop of ice cream after the BBQ given by the restaurant. Totally recommended if you like Korean BBQ!

Yelp
New Korean BBQ place. Best I have experienced so far in Calgary and Toronto. Food quality is very good and service is excellent. Seating is comfortable and it's a busy vibrant spot. The menu has several choices but we went for beef and a couple of sides, all of which were excellent. Beer, wine and some cocktails available. Reservations would be a good idea.
