Ordered value combo, seafood pancake and japchae. Overall food quality is decent, it is on the more pricey side given it’s on the 17th. Really enjoyed the nice decor, staff was accommodating neighbour’s birthday celebration and was really good vibe. Side dishes are delicious, value combo comes with meat, cheese corn, fluffy egg, soup and 2 rice. meat quality is decent but slightly less portion than preferred. Seafood pancake is the thicker style than most I have tried, feels it’s a bit undercooked and maybe next time I will ask them to fully cook through. Japchae is okay, kiddo liked it. Lettuce basket is $6 (just be aware as they upsell this basket and made it sound like it’s complimentary, no biggie and should have clarified) Overall good experience

Great overall experience at this Korilla BBQ place. The meat was so fresh and nicely presented, and everything tasted really good. Special thanks to our server Susung — he was amazing! Very attentive and friendly, helped us with grilling, changed the grill promptly, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the meal. His service really made the experience even better. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to others!

Went here with my friends and had a great time. We ordered two small platters (one Signature, one Value), which was the perfect amount for sharing. The small ribs are a must — juicy, well-marinated, and one of the highlights. Everything came out fresh and well-paced. Service was attentive and friendly — staff checked in regularly, helped with the grill when needed, and kept things moving without rushing us. They also surprised us with complimentary ice cream at the end, which was a really nice touch. Solid food, good service, and a fun group-friendly spot. Would definitely come back.

One of the best korean bbq spots in Calgary! The sets come with soo much food, including the meat you order, corn cheese, a variety of banchan, rice, a soup of your choice, and an egg souffle. Also free ice cream at the end! The meat is really high quality, and all the banchan are very tasty and fresh. We can't help ordering the sides including the japchae and seasoned rice balls, both are insanely tasty and a perfect addition to the meats! The best part about Korilla is that they have anniversary sales around November. The first year was 50% off and this year was 22% off. Amazing deal and well worth it even without the sales :)

Korilla is the BEST!! Always been. TOP NOTCH!! Tonight’s my 10th time dining here in Korilla. From my own birthday, to my partners birthday, to bringing family members and friends to celebrate their birthdays here too, even bridal shower dinners, i’ve done in Korilla ever since I’ve tried it. It’s always the best option for me!!!! Food is always on point! Taste has always been consistent, always— always hits the spot. Change is good, menu wise; but the OG menu/their staple menu is what really makes them the best. New items always looking so pretty, and festive. Even featured drinks are always the best tasting ones!!!! Servers are very welcoming. Attentive, and always very caring, as always! Shoutout to Valeria, she’s our fave. She takes good care of us every visit!!! We love her already. She knows when we already make a reservation ;) Korilla has been the best addition to my 2025! And i cannot wait to welcome 2026, with the same love and admiration i have for this place. My boyfriend and I had dinner here for my birthday. The place looks nice, and the staff were super friendly. The Korean BBQ was really good and high quality. They even surprised me with a cake and sang happy birthday! I was so happy — such a great place to celebrate.

Top notch experience at Korilla! I’ve been to a lot of K-BBQ places here and outside of Calgary but man, this one serves great quality meat. I would prefer to eat here than other unlimited K-BBQ restaurants. Not only that. Staff members are very respectful, easy to talk to, and helpful whenever needed. Side dishes are refillable. Can’t get enough of the sesame tofu 😋 But wait, there’s more. I didn’t expect the washroom to be spotless and packed with everything you need after devouring that good food. There’s toothpicks, and mouthwash just when you needes it. 😂 If you plan to bring friends and family here, they won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure. Thanks Korilla! We’ll keep coming back 🥰

Korilla Korean BBQ on 17th Avenue is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots in the city. The moment you walk in, the vibe is lively and modern with a fun energy that’s perfect for date night, groups, or a night out with friends. The restaurant has a great setup with tabletop grills where you cook your own meats right at the table and the quality of the beef, pork and chicken is high, juicy, and full of flavor.  The banchan are tasty and keep coming around, and the servers are attentive, friendly, and super helpful from explaining the grilling to refilling sides and making sure you have everything you need.  The atmosphere is vibrant and upbeat, it can get a bit loud on weekend nights, but that only adds to the fun.  Extras like their unique cocktails, rooftop patio, and even a karaoke lounge downstairs set Korilla apart from your typical Korean BBQ. The portions are generous, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious, especially if you love interactive dining and great flavors!!

We had some time to spare before catching our flight back to Toronto and craving some Korean food, we fortunately stumbled upon this place while looking for some options. There restaurant is split into two section - the ground floor which has the kbbq and the rooftop (oktop) which has some additional menu items. Both sections were nicely decorated and prepared with side dishes ready at the table upon entering. We ordered the kongbul which was served with broth, and it was the perfect amount for the 2 of us. Although the kongbul was delicious on its own, the highlight of the meal were actually the side dishes - they were some of the tastiest side dishes I've ever had at a Korean restaurant. Each was full of flavour and fresh, and tasted home-cooked. Our server was friendly and attentive and was quick to refill our side-dishes and waters. One of the servers also gave us some japchae (as service) which was such a pleasant surprise and was soo tasty! Fingers crossed Korilla will expand to Toronto!

Family came here on a Sunday for dinner as we had a craving for Koreab BBQ. And this restaurant did not disappoint! There are plentiful street parking available. Inside the restaurant everything was so well done. From the decor, to the number of tables, to the vibe. It was busy this evening but it didn't feel crowded. The place also has a rooftop patio as well as a patio out front. We chose to eat inside. The chairs are hollow so that you can put your jacket or purse in it. The menu had a lot of choices but we settled on the Alberta Moo-oo platter for two for our family of four. And there was more than enough food to go around. The platter comes with Samgyeop Sal (pork belly), Daeji Galbi (pork shoulder), Hang Jeong (port jowl), Gochujang Galbi (spicy pork shoulder). Everything was so delicious. It also came with rice, some side dishes (kimchi, salad, beets, potato), egg soufle, soup, and selection of sauces. Our waitress was so nice and gave my son complementary fries as well as tteokbokki for the table. Like I said everything was great and well done. They have a good business as the atmosphere is great and the food is wonderful. The family thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Staff were super friendly.

The service and atmosphere is beyond amazing for good vibes. It's upbeat and the customer service especially our waiter was so friendly and great overall and attentive. He brought French fries complimentary for the kids which I thought was amazing so will definitely recommend for all the families with kids to come here. My kids loved their meat and dipping sauces. Steamed egg and sides were good. They were missing some sides that I would have loved but overall still a great experience. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 stars is because I live in Orange County and their Korean bbq is hard to beat so I've tasted what a 10/10 Korean bbq is and now it's tough to beat but I think overall for Calgary it's definitively in my top 5 Korean restaurants. Personally I like the sides at Nam San more. Korilla has karaoke so it's very busy on weekends and at 8:00pm. Recommend reservations.

I enjoyed a hearty BBQ meal that was full of smoky goodness. The beef brisket was juicy and flavorful with a nice char on the outside. Their spicy sauce added the right amount of heat. The coleslaw on the side balanced everything perfectly. I can't wait to return for another round.

Fantastic kimchi. The best Korean place run by Russian servers. Meat quality is top notch. Good service. Highly recommended.

New Korean BBQ place. Best I have experienced so far in Calgary and Toronto. Food quality is very good and service is excellent. Seating is comfortable and it's a busy vibrant spot. The menu has several choices but we went for beef and a couple of sides, all of which were excellent. Beer, wine and some cocktails available. Reservations would be a good idea.

It's located on the iconic and lively 17th Avenue. It's always very busy and packed with young and cheerful people so try to book a table before going to the BBQ restaurant or you and your friends might find yourself waiting for a long time. Great for large or small parties. It's trendy and stylish. It's a relaxed place and nobody's rushing you up to leave. The staff was very, very polite, efficient, fast and helpful. The waitress was kind and she gave us all the steps to follow on how to cook the meat and all the sides. The food was great. The meat quality is as great as all the side dishes. My friends and I got the 1410 Gorilla which it's great for a party of 3 people. Portions were good enough for all of us 3. We even have some leftovers for later. It can be pricey if it's just for you or a party of 2 people but for larger parties, prices are reasonable. We even have a small scoop of ice cream after the BBQ given by the restaurant. Totally recommended if you like Korean BBQ!
