Korilla - Midtown East

This Korilla brick and mortar store just opened up in my area. I've missed them since their food truck left the area. The food is similar to what you can get with the truck, but in the store the only option is to get a bowl. This upset me at first, but it made the long line move very fast. Faster then similar stores. I think this process will be repeated by others. You choose from one of 4 Prix bowls, then they give you 4 toppings, and you pay. Then it's up to you add the sauce, cover the Bowl and bag your food. Quality wise I think it's as good as the truck. However since the time of the truck their have been a lot of copycats that I ate, so my memory is clouded, but it is still very good. The spicy sauce has the right amount of kick. I'm happy to have it as another lunch option.

Love this place! Not too spicy / sweet but delivers the authentic Korean taste. Combo (plate + fries + drink) offered at $16!

Quick food - meat and veggie. Average size enough for the lunch. Quick service - 5-10 min max wait time. You can choose the components yourself

I really liked what I got: the broccoli rice with green crack sauce and bolgogi steak. It was terrific. However, but my wife and her friend both got, the kale with steak and spicy sauce, were just flooded with sauce and underwhelmed to say the least.

Perfect Keto go to place for me! Fast service, quality ingredients, perfect price point and good portion sizes!

They messed up my pickup order, by replacing Brussels Sprouts with Kale. And I didn’t get the yolk of the poached egg I paid extra for

One of the most underwhelming meals I've had in a while. I know most restaurants dishes rarely look as appealing as they do on the menu, but my rice bowl did not look appetizing at all. The chicken was dry, the wild rice looked like oatmeal, and the meal was not nearly as flavorful as advertised. Safe to say I won't be eating here again.

Some of the better takeaway food in midtown. The chicken was very soft, juicy, and seasoned. Rice bowl had a lot of good ingredients, and 4 sauces (2 mayo based, 2 spicy) tie everything together.
