Google
A true hidden gem, where you have to walk down a inconspicuous hallway in order to reach a welcoming venue with a variety of delicious food, drinks, and of course a unique atmosphere. The food at most of the vendors takes a while to prepare, but the wage is truly worth it has all of these vendors are family owned cooks I’ve been mastering their craft for years. Notably the place, is also surprisingly safe. Food: 5/5 Wait time: 3/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

This place is a true hidden gem. The wings are game-changing, the music is immaculate and the vibes are splendid! I loved the noodles from noodle belly! The drinks they served were also great. A must-try in Oakland for sure!! Will be back!!

Google
A true gem. Food and drinks were great. Came on a Thursday 5-630 and it was pretty light, but they were just getting started. I really feel like this place was pretty exceptional. We went to Jos Modern Thai recently and I would say this was comparable in terms of quality of food and drink (but not as wide a selection) and it was less than half the price. Music was pretty loud so if that’s not your thing you might want to do take out instead.

We have had two great company parties at this venue. Alexandra and her team are amazing!! Cant wait to have many more events here. The music, the food, the drinks, the staff. Everything is great. Thank you again! <3

Chicken wingzzz. Great cocktails. Homie vibes.

Google
Pop up venue that offers different unique food options that change everyday. Outside seating only. Cocktail bar but small beer selection. Tends to be on the more expensive expensive side. A meal for 2 will be over $50.

Yelp
Finishing this old review I had drafted! Not sure if they are still open with the same vendors anymore. Their website link isn't working and they haven't posted on IG since October of 2024. Hopefully they are still open because I loved my experience there! I happened to go when they had a BTS pop up, so I received some BTS cupholder sleeves, which I can tell a lot of BTS fans were super excited about. There were a few vendors selling art and hancrafted (some BTS themed) goods. It was really cool and festive. Was really looking forward to getting the ube cocktail at the bar, but they didn't have them that day. There is seating indoors and outdoors (shaded, under tents) so it was nice and airy. I loved the Noodle Belly noodles, sugar mama sugar cane drink, and Korean hodduk from Sammy's. Everything was great, but I think my favorite item was the noodles! Every vendor and bar staff were super friendly, great customer service.

Yelp
I would love for this place to have a regular brick-and-mortar location, but for now, we have to settle for the random pop-up food fairs and the location in Fruitvale. The food was tasty, and the portion and price were better than most. Now I have four places on my list for the Fruitvale area. BB

Yelp
Came Here Looking For "Padrón Gril" A Vegan Spot I Saw On TikTok. Turns Out It Was A Vendor Working With Korner Kitchen At The Time. However, Korner Kitchen Is Legit! Menu Is Small But The Options Seem Delicious! To Order Food You Walk Up To The Bar Straight In The Middle Of The Patio & You Get A Chance To Look At Their Menu Or Whatever Vendor They Are Working With At The Moment. I Spoke With Who Im Thinking Is The Owner. Didn't Get His Name But Guy Was Very Friendly, Professional & If You Need Any Food Recommendations From The Menus He Got You! He Recommended I Get Their "Noodle Belly $20. Not Too Expensive As Long As The Flavors There. Comes With Garlic Noodles Your Choice Of Protein & A Vegetable. I Ordered The Broccolini With Shrimp! Belive Me Flavors Were Definitely There! The Patio Has Three Large Screen TVs So You Can Eat And Wacth Whatever Is Happening At The Time. Today They Had The UFC Fight And Summer Slam! Nice. Would I Come Here Again. Sure, But With Friends! The Vibes Are Nice Here & Service Is On Point!

Yelp
Korner Kitchen and Bar is multi-purposed: it's a commercial kitchen, an host for special events, a weekend lounge with vendor popups & a bar et al: weekdays-food available for pickup/delivery from Noodle Belly, Curbside Meal (Filipino food) weekends-artisan ice cream available for pickup only -Sammies (Korean hodduk), Noodle Belly, Korner Bar, Patron Grill, Sugar Mama Sugarcane...etc. sometimes Magnolia Mini-Mart is here. comfy indoor space protected from winds, rains, etc. outdoor seating available when a special event happens. convenient street parking or in bart station parking lot...

Yelp
Rated this based off picking up a large Queen Emma Cake from Ono Bakehouse. On the system, the person who took my order placed it for 3pm rather than 8am, the time I opted for. When I got there at 8am, I found out and I was worried as I had class right after. However, the baker assured me that it was fine and he would get the cake ready-- just give him some time. I'd tell you, not all heroes wear capes, some wear aprons. He gave us a place to sit down and we waited for a bit. After 15 minutes, we got our cake with some great tips about caring for it as it was technically not ready yet. Overall, thank you for the amazing experience!

Yelp
Did you even know this place existed? I didn't, but I'm so glad I've made the discovery! It's definitely a hidden gem. It's literally located right next to the Fruitvale Bart parking lot, and the amount of times I've drove by not knowing it existed.... It's adorable. The tables are covered in bright and colorful floral wraps. I love it; it makes the tables easier to sanitize. There's plenty of heat lamps, shade, and lots of foliage! It's vibrant, fun, and so lively with the DJ playing! I stopped by on a Thursday after work for a quick lil dinner. From Noodle Bar, I got the Noodle Belly Combo with lomo saltado and grilled broccolini. THE NOODLES WERE SO DREAMY and outshined it all. I LOVE broccolini but in this instance I could have cared less. I didn't love the lomo saltado, but I enjoyed it. I can't get enough of those noodles....next time I'll have to purchase a take home kit. From the bar I got a passion fruit margarita and it was tasty! I would have had another had I not drove. I can't wait to come back and try other vendors! Definitely a hidden gem in Oakland.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday and the ambiance, food, and drinks were all top tier. The owners and workers were "family" - They made their rounds and checked in on us while we were celebrating a birthday here. Made us feel welcomed. The bar is a stone's throw from the Bart Station - The setup is pretty cool. It's out of place for that part of Oakland, but in a GOOD way. The food and drinks were FIRE - I had the "HALO AT ME", THREE TIMES. This drink had Ube infused Vodka and was delicious, but potent. Their Bò Kho Egg rolls were the BEST egg rolls I've ever had... and I'm Vietnamese through and through. Overall, solid place. Definitely coming back soon.

Yelp
A really cool outdoor spot for food and drinks! It was hard to find at night at first.. we had to do a couple circles around the area to find it. Ended up parking on the free level of the bart station and walked over. The space is really welcoming and has heaters and tvs as well. You order your food up front and they serve it out to you. We tried out the lumpia, rice paper pizza, arroz caldo, and pork belly fries for food. Everything was really good and shareable! Drinks wise had the "halo at me" ube drink and toki highball. Wasn't too much of a fan of the highball, but the ube drink was sooooo good. I will order this drink everytime I go here now!

Yelp
This place is so welcoming! The decor, the people, and food and drinks were so comforting! Everyone was so inviting upon arrival which is a great sign! I tried almost everything on the menu and all of the dishes are a hit!! The drinks are beautifully crafted, my favorite had to be the AAPI Americano as well as the Halo at me. You have to go to try it yourself, overall I can say I had a good experience! Good people = a good time!!

Yelp
This is a cool pop-up venue! I went for a BTS cup sleeve event. They had a bunch of vendors in the first courtyard, both goods and food vendors. Further inside they have a covered patio area to hang out, and a bar built out of I think an old container compartment maybe? They have creative drinks and the bartenders are super cool and friendly. Noodle Belly is a regular food vendor (maybe in-house?) other than the other pop-up food vendors they host. They seem to regularly host BTS fan events so I'll be back. Easy parking in the BART parking lot is a big upside.

Yelp
I enjoy spending my night out with friends doing spontaneous things like eating strawberry ice cream when it's below 20 degree Celsius or camping out in the desert when it's above 105 degree Fahrenheit. Whatever it is, we always enjoy each other's company. On a random Saturday night, we decided to roam around Oakland and stir up some trouble. Our festivity includes eating, drinking, and more drinking. We came across this bar. Wow! Great music and great vibes. Their drinks are beyond my expectation. My favorites are the pickles & pineapple that came with the Michelada. So spicy & tangy! I wish I was sober enough to eat some of their food because the super crunchy tacos look lit af! I truly believe in helping our local business thrive by giving my honest opinion on the experience. My opinions are based on an average guideline according to taste, smell, presentation, and quality. Along with that, I include cleanliness and friendliness as a bonus. The people here are truly sincere and I admire that quality. Like Wiz Khalifa said, "These are my n***** for real for realz." The staff here had a sense of great style of dress and some even had cool tattoos. I kinda want some to be honest. Next time I come back, I will dress much better to fit in.

Yelp
Korner's an awesome collection of pop-ups conveniently located next to BART. It's a really chill, hip, and inclusive vibe. There are multiple food vendors so we were able to satisfy all our cravings. :) Will definitely be hosting future parties and gatherings at Korner.

Yelp
This place was awesome! You can get food from one of two pop ups - a Korean place or a Latinx place called Padrón grill. We tried Padrón grill. My fella is from Mexico and he was thoroughly impressed with the handmade blue corn tortillas and street corn. We both had the mushroom barbacoa - me, a taco and he the bowl. We met the chef and one of the other business partners (Chase) who told us the beautiful story of their restaurant and a few of the dishes. The drinks were also amazing - horchata and piña/spinach agua fresca. It was one of those rare magical experiences. The outdoor dining situation is eclectic, yet Homie. Very Oakland. Highly recommend! We'll be back!

Yelp
Great food and drinks! The staff is really nice and service is good. There are televisions to watch sports games and lots of tables. The bar has a lot of drink options that are very yummy! We ordered and shared the Noodle and Belly Combo and the Boiled Crawfish with sausage and potatoes. The sauce that came with the crawfish was hot but super yummy. The ambiance is fun, and there are a lot of regulars there. The place has a bar, but families are ok to come and enjoy games on the tv. I would recommend this to anyone for dinner, drinks, or sports games.

Yelp
You have got to try the ube cocktail here! It is so delicious I drank it a little too fast. There is also a rotation of Filipino fusion cooks through the kitchen so the menu is rotating and always delicious.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! I almost don't want to post this because it's a small venue but what exceptional service. This is a converted box car bar, in the parking lot of a commissary kitchen. They highlight different food companies at the kitchen with friendly faces and a homey vibe. The outside doesn't do it justice and it's about to pop off. Great drinks and smiles all around. Get there before it blows up.... Absolutely going there again!

Yelp
My husband & I brought our kids here, but I think we'd enjoy it here without them too. We were here for a daytime minions-themed party, which had a small entry-fee for face-painting, crafts & games. The outdoor vibes were amazing, staff super-friendly, and we got the garlic noodles w/ pork belly & broccolini, agua Fresca and ube cocktail. Our kids liked the noodles too. The space and decor is colorful, fun and unpretentious. Def reco this new gem. We'll be back!

Yelp
Delicious food, great atmosphere! Steps away from Fruitvale bart but feels like an oasis, Korner Kitchen and Bar has a great drink selection and delicious food from Noodle Belly. They also have pop-ups from pizza, sweet treats, tacos, and more! Great service that is attentive and friendly, you order either at the bar for drinks and food or by QR code and bus your own table, ample access to water. Check it out! I will certainly go again!

Yelp
Great hidden gem in the heart of East Oakland. Literally right next door to the Fruitvale bart station and across the street from the Guadalajara taco truck. Been here twice and both times they had a great pizza pop up slangin pies (Hapaza). Delicious pizza and the drinks are fantastic, not your typical shots n beer bartender, but a real mixologist that knows what he is doing. Cool outdoor area with TVs for the games, a real oasis in Oakland without the ratchets

Yelp
My first experience here was pretty great. I just got off of fruitvale Bart and wanted something to eat and a good cocktail but didn't want to have to go into the city after my long flight. I walked passed Korner and heard some guys raving about the cocktails and park Nelly noodles and that got me excited! So at that moment I decided to walk in! The entrance is hard to find but it's just around the "Korner"! Dan at the bar was pleasant and his cocktails were even better! Asian/Latinx fusion cocktails to pair with the Peruvian/Asian food! Noodle Belly food was absolutely a treasure! I wasn't expecting to find great food at a bar next to Bart! Things I had: *Tamarind Margarita (do I need to say more?!) *China White ( lemon grass, Mirin, coriander, roku gin and lemon) if you like gimlets this is the drink for you! *Tuna's cocktail by Fred Acebo (tequila, mezcal, pickle juice (BUY THE PICKLES TRUST ME!) pineapple, lime) so we'll balanced and spicy if you're into the tropic cocktails this one's a hit! *Roku Pocky Puck!!! (ROKU gin, lychee, egg white, cream, pineapple, lemon soda water, topped with freeze dried strawberries and strawberry pocky!!) if you like flare and watching your bartender sweat this is the one for you! FOOOD! ** I ordered the combo plate! Noodle belly noodles with Lomo Saltado and braised greens!!! SOOOOOOO AMAZING!! Like wowwww Below are pictures lol

Yelp
Awesome food! Great backyard BBQ vibe. Everyone was super nice. Great ambiance of shade, good music and sports on TV.

Yelp
Cute outdoor spot with amazing foods and drinks! The garlic noodle from Noodle Belly is definitely one of the best. Everything we had was so delicious. We also had a chance to try out amazing cocktails as well. This is also an awesome spot to catch the game as they have multiple TVs.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe!!! I LOVE IT!! I came here on a Saturday for lunch and there was a good amount of people. This place is more of a self serve but the workers always made sure to check up on us. There's multiple kitchens so a big variety of food and drinks. You can check on their Instagram for what vendors are there for the week! I had the noodle belly combo & pork belly fries so bomb!!!!! Noodle belly also has take home kits which is cool bc the noodles are so fireeeee. I also tried Padron chips & guac, along with the tacos. For dessert they had a table with Malasades, and Pastries. I tried the fruity pebble & haupia malasades sooo yummy!!! For drinks wise all of them were so good!!! I tried the margaritas, halo at me, and the tuna cocktail. The tuna cocktail was my favorite out of all. Definitely would come back 10/10!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow this place is sooo much fun! I got to try several items from different vendors and even brought some dessert home! My favorite items were the PASTELITOS from La More, GARLIC NOODLES WITH PORK BELLY from Noodle Belly, and the Arroz Caldo from Korner! They said the Arroz Caldo will always be on the menu which is amazing because it's the perfect drinking food and they have soooo many toppings. I've never seen it served like this before! I also brought home a cake jar from Full Belly Bakery and I want them to bake a cake for all my events now :) love this place! It's full of surprises!

Yelp
Exactly what I would expect from a breakfast place. Clean crisp food. Solid coffee. And eating area in the kitchen made the experience interesting as i watched them prep the food.

Ronnie T.

Yelp
Korner Oakland is the new hangout spot whenever I am in the area! Cocktails were all delicious and balanced. The food is also on point! There were 3 food popups when I went and tried all of them! My favorites were the pastelitos, vietnamese pizza, and the garlic noodles with shrimp! Don't sleep on this new hot spot!!
google avatar

Rachelle C.

Yelp
We had the best pork belly fries and cocktails here. Funky outdoor patio to just relax. Super casual.

Barbara R.

Yelp
We read the Newspaper review about the restaurant. And it didn't let us down. There actually two restaurants. One is Mexican plant based and the other is Noodle Belly. We went on a Sunday thinking both would be open but Noodle Belly was closed. So we had the Mexican plant based food. It was amazing. We had the corn on the cobb as an appetizer and we both got different mushroom tacos. I wouldn't even have known that I was eating a mushroom. The sauces were amazing. I had the spicy one and it had a bite but sooo good. Thank you Chase!!!!

Jessica T.

Yelp
Such a cool vibe here. The workers are very welcoming and friendly. One of the bartenders, Connor, introduced himself to my party and then addressed us by our names the whole night - impressive memory!! We went during a pop up for Hapa Za Pizza - so good. There was also a DJ which was nice. The Ube drink was pretty good! I stuck with Tuna's drink all night but the Ube drink was a nice dessert cocktail. Will be back!

Brian A.

Yelp
Loved this place! In town for a quick trip and my sister lives local & suggested it. Great staff - fun, friendly and personable. Food was outstanding including the corn niblets, shrimp skewers, and all of the small plates were great to share. Awesome full bar and beer selection.

Yelp
Really good food and drinks, they have the best garlic noodles as well. Their Vietnamese pizza is delicious. They have heat lamps that will keep you nice and toasty in the winter. They also have a plethora of delicious Asian snacks and goods. I tried their ube, passion fruit and the spicy tequila(iono the actual names) drinks and they were al good. The employees are accommodating and welcoming. I go here everyday and they don't charge me rent

Crissy B.

Yelp
Great eat and hanging out outdoor spot. We went here to catch some of the Warrior game. They have 3 TVs on the wall. There are several "kitchens" with their own menus here. When we went, the vegan taco menu and the noodle menus were available. There is a QR code on the table for the vegan taco menu. You have to go to the bar to order from the noodle menu. The cocktails at the bar were yummy. We had the Korean BBQ pork belly fries, Buffalo chicken wings, and the pork belly noodle combo ... all ordered at the bar. It was all SUPER delicious! The pork belly in both dishes was amazingly tender and juicy. We will come here again.

Noah P.

Yelp
Great date spot or to watch the Warriors games. Great selection of mixed drinks and alcohol. Friendly staff and quick service.

Ted N.

Yelp
The cocktails are all very unique and delicious. I love the variety of food you could get there from the different menus. You can get a Vietnamese Pancake or garlic noodles or whatever local pop up is there on any given restaurant. The vibe is great there and the place comes alive on weekend nights. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
this ain't it. service was slow or possibly slow because the folks waiting were black and brown folks. young lady in front of us look liked she had been waiting for a while and when my friends and i got there we were waiting a long while. my friends being a mix of black, afro latino and latin asian are not new to establishments that provide poor service due to our skin color. we all ended up walking home and making our dinner faster than their service. won't be coming back to a place that makes me wait uncomfortably because i don't look like the customers that are served better.
