I had many hours to kill before my flight, and found this place just 7 min from my hotel. Awesome local low-key spot, great pool players (what lured me in) and free! to play on sat/sun! Sweet deal. Met some friendly folk there and staff was nice too! Very laid back vibe with plenty of opportunities to be entertained. Had a couple NA beverages and really glad I stopped in. Love their swag too! Kinda bummed I didn’t get a hat or hoodie as a souvenir. Come thru!

Neighborhood dive bar vibes, straight forward. Pool tables, and lottery. Nice bartender. The place has character, allot to look at, I appreciate it.

My friend took me here & both times we've come here I've genuinely had a great experience! The atmosphere is so chill; they are busy but you wouldn't know it because their bartender is awesome - friendly, welcoming, accurate, helpful, provides fast service & serves great drinks & food. Their menu is fairly limited but it is delicious bar food. They have lots of VP machines & somehow there's always at least 2 available for us to play. When I ordered food, when I needed to cash out my tickets, there was essentially no waiting. She's so fast & efficient. I'll definitely be returning here!!!

The bartender here is really nice and attentive. Good spot to grab a quick drink while the boyfriend is down the street getting his haircut. They have pool tables in here, pin pinball machines, video lottery. The regulars are all very nice and conversational. I enjoyed my time here.

It's a good place to drink and to socialize with friends. Not much for parking in front but they do have some on back. They do have good Taco Tuesday.

Good place to go for playing pool. Alot of good players there late at night. 2 pool tables in nice condition. Expect a wait after midnight to play, sign your name on the board. Great group of people.Prices moderate. Not a very big place, so expect to bump elbows.

My friends and I come here for trivia every Wednesday night at 6 (shoutout Jeremy!) and it is the highlight of our week. The vibes are immaculate and it is your classic dive bar with all the fun quirks, amazing bartenders, and fryer food. You can't beat this place. So so happy I found it.

It as okay we played VP little loud but it was the end of the day/night closing time! Didn't eat but didn't wanna put low ☆'s for that matter

Cheap beer and relaxed environment. $10 pitchers of Rainier/ PBR. Not the best bike locks outside, but there is one about 10 ft from the front door

I'm so tired of feeling "unwanted" in spaces in my very own neighborhood. I'm at one of my favorite small bars (Korner Pocket) and realized they've blocked ALL hip-hop/rap from their jukebox. Literally, every rap artist has been "filtered" from the jukebox. How am I supposed to feel about this? I'm a DJ, and I play music for everyone. In all of my years of coming here, this is the first time that I felt like I didn't belong. I'm aware of the recent events that have occurred, causing the bar to close earlier; but that has absolutely nothing to do with me. To generalize an entire genre based on people you think "associate" with the music is simply, ignorant. I hope this changes, and soon. Mercer is the kindest bartender and one of the nicest humans that I've ever known. I purposefully try to come in on nights that she works. Clearly, there isn't much riff-raff happening on a Monday evening, so, I'm still confused...

I was in the women's bathroom, and a man came in the bathroom and said he was looking for his friends purse. I addressed him and said that was not OK. The bartender told me that he was not gonna serve me because I addressed the man who walked into the bathroom on me I'm an African-American female the bartenders white male he told me I wasn't nice to him, and so he was not gonna serve me after. The lady next to me tried to advocate for me and it did not work. He was very racist and I don't appreciate it.

I forgot to close out before I left here one night and they lost my credit card. When I call to see if they have it, they tell me they can't check unless the owner is there. I called 3 times and no one was able to check for me. Is it a difficult task to check for a customers card? I finally get a hold of the owner and they don't have it, claiming that they could've thrown it away. Why would you throw a customers card away? Regardless, I left my credit card here in they mishandled it and lost it.

Came here for a drink and some pool after an amazing dinner in the neighborhood. It's a dive for sure! Which we love. Our bartender Kelsey was really sweet and fun and the drinks were cheap as hell and good pours. Some drunk dude was being creepy to my wife, which was a bit awkward, but we didn't say anything to the bartender so she didn't know and that's on us! We moved away from him and all was good! Overall, really cool spot that we'll return to next time we visit the area.

The "Korner Pocket" on NE Sandy Blvd is CLOSED, as in Out of Business. I drove by and it was locked up. Search for Korner Pocket (Tavern, or Sports Bar) gets you to bars with the same name in Kona, Hawaii and one in South Carolina. Food..NONE Service..NONE Ambiance..NONE

Excellent bar food great drinks ,service impeccable, very cozy ,friendly ,fun atmosphere .the bartenders warm welcome and kind disposition makes you feel right at home placing their business at the top of their field

Great old school bar! Reasonable prices, strong drinks, daily specials plus a happy hour! The menu tops out at about $8 and a tall well is only $4.50, and $3.50 on happy hour!

This is a dive bar. Day drinkers stand outside smoking in the afternoon. By evening the place is half-full of guys you probably won't want to make eye-contact with, arguing over the pool tables in the middle of space. Smokers stand guard at the door, and the smoke blows straight inside. The very friendly guy bartender is gone. Replaced by an equally friendly lady who will call you "Hon". Drinks are dirt cheap. The walls are ringed with video games. Will someone please open a decent bar or restaurant in Roseway? Mad Hannah, you are not it either.

We all love our KP.. Best owners and bosses you could ask for. Very clean friendly environment. great service .great bartenders. great drinks .great music .great place to go when you just want to go hang out with your friends .you don't have to worry about a bunch of Riff Raff. great place to go and enjoy..great music. Great prices. Everyone is welcome. But no tolerance for bad influences.... Lottery drinks pool (when they are opened again) did i mention the best bartenders in town. Not to mention Cool quality hoodies. hats and tshirts. At a good price.too... Cant wait til they reopen

WiFi sucks here. Had to temporarily delete YouTube app to watch videos in browser and this place still required turning off the "free WiFi"". Other than that great, but it's weIrd when a place the size of a giant Chicago deep dish slice blocks out even your cell plan's data. Pain in the ass

After enjoying Skyfall with a group of friend's, some drinking was in order. I've been to this bar a year ago and remember the drink tabs being super cheap. Fast forward a year later and that is still the case. The first round of drinks including micro's and Tecate's came to just $11 for everyone including tip! Here's a better secret: $1 excellent Jell-O shots with real fruit inside too!!!!! Yes they are boozy and addicting. Sadly we also cleaned out the last of them too..... This place certainly has its regulars, the bartender is super friendly, plenty of beer bottle selection to choose from, even some decent micro's on tap. There is 1 pool table only considering the name of the bar is related to pool. A couple of more friends joined up and we found a Jenga game. Half of the tiles had sentences, but the rest didn't so we added our own for future players. Watching the movie Jackie Brown on the big screen is a bonus for me, cheers!!!

Bummer the roseway doesn't have booze, oh but wait! This place does and it's less than a block away! Great "let's hang out and discuss the movie" bar. Good selection of beers, family owned joint, the bartender sported some rocking comic book knowledge, and oh btw It's hella cheap! You can safely stamp "I'm a fan" on my forehead and feel pretty safe in knowing that I will most likely be found here after every movie I see from now on at The Roseway (which you should go to too!!)

I can't imagine a better place to have a drink. The owners are ok people. Nothing to write home about. However, the bartenders that work on the evenings and weekends are amazing. I have lived in Portland for 9 months. I stop by KP once a week and each bartender knows my drink. I can walk in just about any time of day and they will pour my drink without even asking. I feel like I am family here. Even if it is your first time Tim will make sure you feel the same.

Don't let the outside fool you, or do, hell. Least pretentious bar in Portland. Two pool tables, video poker, nicest bar tenders in town, extremely effective drink specials. Love it here.

What a treat this place is. Just about the world's friendliest and most generous bartender, TVs that are comfortably but not obtrusively positioned above the bar, and extraordinary prices that become even more so on Mondays.

Absolutely the best service I've received in a bar in Portland since I've turned 21. Tim welcomed me in as family and made me feel completely at ease. I've suffered from anxiety my whole life and I think the one encounter i just had a Tim cured it all. I want him to be my uncle or close friend but I guess bartender will have to do

I swear to god.. all i had was the taco Tuesday thing and two beers but when I walked out and headed home I could not function at all.. just glad that I was not driving, got home, not too far away but still could not function at all.. and to think think that I gave Tim a good tip for giving me some kind of drug that knocked me on my ass.. and so what the hell were those idiots taking out in ice chests while I was there.. \\

$3 micro pints on Thursday! neato. Even some great beers on tap with Widmer Hef, Ninkasi IPA, and Lompoc Proletariat Red. Also the usual bar fare Coors, et al. With it the usual bar crowd and sports on the tv. Pool table, super cheap, and across the street from the Roseway. oh, right the movie's starting, damn. beer. too. cheap.

Love the place . Great owners, nice patrons and wonderful poker machines which is why I go . Theres a very nice bartender who plays great music. Music, I might add, that I never heard before. Being 55 and without children I am stuck in the past with classic country. The bartender is so nice and wrote all the artists down for me. If I drank, I would go here. Very open spaces, plenty of room, lots of booze , and good people.

This is my favorite spot on Sandy. Pool, jukebox, video poker, darts and awesome bartenders! Quiet in the early day to great music and people at night. I've come at all times of the day and have had luck to visit on a BBQ day. Look for the grill out front :) Happy hour 3-6pm great specials come for a Bloody Mary on Bloody Mary Sundays
