We had an outstanding experience at Kosh tonight with our organization AOJP. The food was top notch, the service and staff were friendly and accommodating, and the general ambiance was lovely. Everyone enjoyed and had a great time. Thank you so so much!!

An incredible experience, I went last night with my family and we had an excellent time. Thank you for the good service. The meat another level, spectacular.

Last week, while visiting Florida, I was finally able to check out the widely popular KOSH. Like everyone, I have been salivating over the photos and videos on Instagram. Now, I wanted to try it for myself. I was pleasantly surprised at the ample seating both indoor and out, with a cool and modern decor. We were seated immediately and started browsing the menu. We only had two hours till we had to leave so we decided to go light. Since we landed earlier in the day we started with a Caesar salad, the Chili Mix, Crispy Cauliflower and the Angus Beef Skewers. The food came quickly and we dived right in. Firstly, the Cauliflower was nice and crunchy and crispy, unlike the ones I tasted elsewhere. It was a pleasant surprise. They also had a little kick. The salad was fresh with a delicious dressing. The Chili Mix however, yummmmmm. My wife was skeptical when I ordered it, but after only one bite she was hooked. The chili which consisted of ground beef and black beans, cooked with chipotle peppers and served with Nacho Chips, “sour cream” (vegan of course) and pico de gallo. I couldn’t stop eating it. Now lets talk about the Angus Beef Skewers. Wow! Soft flavorful meat on a skewer with some onions and peppers. The meat was so tender and juicy, I honestly could’ve ended the meal here. Naturally, I wanted to try just one entrée. I went with the Ribeye steak medium rare, which was grilled to perfection. It was soft and flavorful. The Ribeye also came with a side of fries. I also ordered one drink as I was on vacation, I ordered the Golden Margarita. It was the perfect way to end the night. Here is my summary. Great service, really good food, and VERY well priced. The whole meal with tax was just over $200. In the NY/NJ area, a meal like this would be at least double the price. We were also out within an hour and a half of just walking in. Highly recommend.

Google
Excellent restaurant. The quality of the meat was very good. The service was good. We had the rib eye steak, and it was made exactly as we asked for. Personally I love sweet potato fries, and they were really good. Good sushi rolls. The dessert was tasty, the chocolate soufflé tasted just like a good home made one -which always is the best taste. If I ever get the opportunity, l will come back. And: It was a really clean place!

Google
Excellent food. Service was quick and accommodating. Try the Thai beef salad if you want something light. The Reserve for a good steak & The Kosh Burger was so juicy. Enjoy! Oh PS the Succah has lots of seating.

Google
I loved it so much, I came 2 nights in a row. Their tuna-bite spoons with tuna wrapped around enough mushrooms with truffle oil and masago are so good. A lot of texture and great flavor. And oh, that Yangki roll! Its hard to describe but I am definitely going to see if my local sushi chef back home can recreate!

Google
Beware – Do NOT book this restaurant! The management is completely unprofessional and disorganized. My group made a reservation well over a month in advance, only to receive a call two weeks later informing us that we’d need to move to either a late lunch or a 9 PM dinner — well past our kids’ bedtime. When we originally booked, every time slot was available, so it’s clear they overbooked and are now trying to shuffle us around to accommodate others. It’s a classless move and shows zero regard for guests’ plans. There are plenty of far better restaurants in Miami that treat their customers with professionalism and respect.

Google
We Arrived pretty close to closing time, so the waiters kept on hovering near us, and packing up other tables. Awesome vibes, but would come next time a lot earlier so we can enjoy it longer.

Yelp
Food was really good. Service was friendy, fast and knowledgeable The ambiance is nice

Yelp
The food was good.. the restaurant was a little warm but the server was a sweetheart and she was very accommodating.

Yelp
A nice and quiet restaurant, good service and there is a selection of dishes, a kosher restaurant, interesting food, it was delicious

Yelp
Great food! The restaurant was full when we arrived and we didn't get such a good service.. After we spoke to the manager it got a bit better. We order most of the menu and really enjoyed the vibes you should have a bit better service but the food is covering that part.

Yelp
Kosh gets 2 stars because of the good service which was helpful and the decor inside. Their food was only so-so. My table had a terriaki dish which was pretty good but the two orders of tacos (duck/beef/chicken) were bland and boring. A chopped tomato with a little seasoning was the only thing on the side with which to dress them up so steer clear. We also had a couple orders of sushi which was average. The last thing on our order was a Thai beef salad with peanut dressing. Do not order this. It was watery and runny with no taste and basically a Publix packaged salad. The beef they used was chewy and cooked too much because it tasted like leather. For drinks we had a nice bottle of white wine, beer and a Caipiroska with passion fruit. They misspelled the name beginning with a "K", used a bottom shelf vodka, failed to use sugar choosing to use bartender's syrup which is the worst thing you can do to this drink and I believe the passion fruit was more like a canned fruity juice for children. I'm not Brazillian where this drink originates but I'm a professor on how to make them. Overall, I wouldn't return.

Yelp
been to Josh a dozen times at least and food is alway good. tonight I brought my kids and grandkids only to be told they were not open yet. it was 5:21 pm . I called prior and the recording says they are open at 5. with that said it's at least 100 degrees outside and the sun is blating and they would not let us wait inside for 11 minutes until the officially open. this is not my idea of hospitality

Yelp
The sushi we ordered was quite bitter and we had asked to exchange it for a different role instead. The waiter was a lady who was undeniably rude and continuously fought back. She denied me SPICY MAYO after I had asked to exchange the roll. Horrifying. Atrocious. Disgusting. Overall 0/10 food, experience, and customer service. I'm shaking.

Yelp
The service was quick, they had our starters in a couple of minutes. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed our dinner and would recommend this spot :-)

Adam C.

Yelp
Came in and was immediately seated, the food came in less than 10 minutes and was reasonably priced, has a wide variety of dishes. Steak cooked perfectly! All the dishes were delicious. Highly recommend this place for a good meal

Yelp
Gnocchi and Sweet n Sour Chicken appetizer, a Steak and the Caramel Salmon. Vanilla "ice cream" made the dessert grade. The bottle of Baron Herzog Chardonnay brought it all together. Recommend. Recommend. Recommend. Recommend. 4 stars and 4 Recommend(s).

Yelp
super disappointed. i don't know what happened to this place. it used to be one of my favorite spots. maybe they got a new chef but whatever the case he did not know how to cook food properly. I taco trio was like cat food, the shishto peppers was covered in sauce, the baby chicken awful, the risotto meat was so tough, the rib eye was dry. I had to send my burger back twice. first it was over cooked and the second time it was raw. By the third time it was so beyond over cooked but i just gave up. really upsetting how bad the quality of this kosher place has gotten. i would suggest fuego over here.

Yelp
The most amazing kosher restaurant. My family and I love it. THe ribs are to die for.

Irina R.

Yelp
We ate delicious!!! As a started you must try the crispy cauliflower (looks like chicken fingers ), for entré you must have the yangky roll or the kosh roll, and for dessert definitely the apple pie !!! Great quality and service!

Kayla R.

Yelp
Stay away from here. Came to Miami on vacation with excitement to try this place. Not only received terrible service, but the food was disgusting. For our main, we got different sushi rolls. I was sharing one when we noticed every bite was bitter and got to the point of being inedible. Tasted like we were eating a lemon skin fresh. When we politely told the waitress, we were first told that we should have looked at the menu because there is lemon juice in the roll. Yes, lemon juice, not zest. She was rude and argumentative to say the least. Just overall ruined our night. What a shame
google avatar

Leo S.

Yelp
Disgusting. Stay away! This place is soooooo bad. Everything tasted so bad and was not cooked correctly the service was really horrible ( such a rude blond waiter) we ended up spending so much money and left a very hungry to go to dinner somewhere else! save your time and do not come here.

Yelp
Heres an idea. If you are closing your restaurant, don't take a reservation and send an email confirming it. Very unprofessional. Period. Obviously didn't get to eat since you closed. the restaurant but took reservation.

Yelp
This is probably the best Kosher restaurant I have been to in Miami. The service was excellent and the food was great. What I liked the most was having a lot of healthy options to chose. Even my drink was healthy, they made me a lemonade with mint and Splenda (no sugar). We had a great time ... oh and dessert I almost forgot (ordered an apple crumble) was delicious.

Yelp
I did a reservation on thursday for a dinner on Saturday (7:15). When we arrived we were told that they don't open up until 8:30. No one called and they barely managed to say they were sorry. And as an extra bonus I was charged 150 $ for a no-show as my reservation was cancelled
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly I am only writing this review because I am just completely shocked at this restaurants level of unprofessionalism. In November my wife and I booked this restaurant for friday night but upon arriving we see that they rented out the entire restaurant to a bar mitzvah and they forced everyone who booked friday night to sit outside in the boiling hot heat and humidity. If that wasn't enough they didn't tell us or the person renting the hall that either of us will be there. Upon sending an email to management letting them know how unprofessional this was, I was promptly ignored. Not wanting to only give this place one chance, two months ago I called to reserve friday night for this shabbas, I called back last week to confirm that we were still on and that no simcha will be taking place. I was told that we are confirmed for this shabbas. Tonight 2 nights before shabbas I receive a call that they are canceling all reservations for this shabbas. The unprofessional nature of this restauant makes me wonder how they stay in business.

Yelp
Their sushi is super tasty, we ordered it for the kids since we already had dinner but I ended up eating the left over and am actually very impressed with the flavor and quality of every single roll I've tried. We will be back for dinner this week and look forward to trying out the greater selection of their menu
google avatar

Yelp
Great date night location, very nice selection of food. Get the ribs when they're bayit Yosef, SO GOOD

Yelp
Stopped here on a whim and am I glad we did! My wife is not a fan of sushi, but she has now determined that she does in fact enjoy sushi especially the Shibumi and Volcano. It was bad sushi she had had before that turned her off. We were thoroughly impressed with the food and the service. I think it is a tad over priced, but still worth a once in a while splurge. A must try!

Yelp
So delicious! Good service. Had reserve cut steak, crispy cauliflower and a sushi roll. Really fresh!

Yelp
I had known Kosh a couple of years ago and my experience had just been ok. It was a good restaurant in the kosher steakhouse market. Friends of mine had told me that they had undergone a new management change and the restaurant had improved drastically. I went there this week with a large family party. The place was over packed this time but the service was fantastic. Extremely nice waiters who were able to attend my big family very smoothly. The decoration went through an overhaul and the restaurant felt more premium. All of these changes were very noticeable, but it was the food that made me realize this was a very different restaurant from the one I had known. We ordered many appetizers for the whole table and there were some definite stand outs like the beef carpaccio and the tuna tower. For my entree I ordered the rib eye which was FANTASTIC. Easily one of the best steaks I have eaten. I was to full to try some of the deserts but they looked delicious. The members of my family that did eat them, enjoyed them very much. I spoke to some of the waiters, and they had told me that the restaurant had the new owners from the people of Fresko in Aventura. Great food, great service, great restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation when you go because the place was packed. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
I went on a Saturday night during holiday season in December, so I expected it to be slammed and it was. I was able to get a reservation last minute and I got there on time and waited 5 minutes to be seated. The decor is modern, clean, and i found it very odd that the statement wall was full of book shelves with books? Anyways, I guess I noticed this because I was waiting for a server to come to our table to give us menus for about 10 minutes...we ordered and the appetizer came around 20 minutes later only because I had a remind another waiter that we had ordered food. The appetizer was a tostones with shredded beef - it was delicious. Then we waited for another 20 minutes for entrees. My duck was delicious and my friend's dish was steak which he enjoyed. The food was very good, but the service was not. I also thought it was strange that the owners were there and were not monitoring service and they were not approaching seated customers to check on their experiences. I mean I don't expect someone to be looking over my shoulder, but some attention that notices how long we were waiting for menus, drinks, and then food would have been appreciated.

Jess K.

Yelp
We keep coming here every time we're in Miami! Such good vibes, such good food, such great service! Just from the appetizers we were full. We were very satisfied!

Moses S.

Yelp
Kosh is my favorite for kosher dining in Surfside, If you like fresh salads, a good steak, not over lot sauced or sugary or fried meats / salads, kosh is your place!

Reena V.

Yelp
Great service and all of the items were incredibly delicious! Highly recommend the crispy cauliflower and mushroom soup. The sushi was also fresh. Fairly expensive real active to other local restaurant gems but the quality and service balanced out overall.

Debbi W.

Yelp
If you can only choose one meat restaurant in the Bal Harbour area, this is the one!!!! From beginning to end, this was a 5 star experience. Counting down to my next Kosh experience!

Yelp
I'm sorry to say this because the food here is actually delicious but... I called to place an order for delivery. I'm currently at an airport and arriving too late to dine in. I wanted food delivered to my hotel. I must have called 10 times before getting through to someone who then said they don't have delivery at the moment. That's fine... But then I asked if they can use a delivery service like postmates, Uber, DoorDash, or anything else. I'm not from Florida so I don't know how it works there. The guy responded, NO! and hung up. Seriously??? Get your service in order and fix your dad phones. Thanks.

Yelp
We had a very nice dinner, server Katie was very helpful with the menu and with our needs, my husband had the carpaccio and the chicken patriot and I had the mushroom soup and the branzino, for dessert we had the chocolate lava cake, highly recommend it

Gavi C.

Yelp
Okay people - the food is great. Maybe it's a little pricy, but it's still good. But oh my... they gave us bread for the table and the inside was a solid ice cube FROZEN bread. So I thought "maybe this is simply a mistake" but boy was I wrong. Took them a couple more tries for them to finally get us some normal bread that was edible. The water was good.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Went back last night and I am happy to report that they're back to 5 star worthiness. They updated the booth seating to a beautiful, beige leather and everything was in pristine condition. But best of all was the food. I got the NY Stripped Steak which was delicious and my mother got this grilled chicken with wine sauce which was absolutely divine. My compliments to the chef. The service was also excellent. Overall, great place to go (except if you're on a tight budget)!

Shevy B.

Yelp
Horrible horrible service. Forgot our whole order food came cold staff was very disorganized. Highly disappointed:(
google avatar

Sharon K.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would! Yesterday was my very first time at this restaurant and it will be my last as well! Other than the service that was okay, the price of our meal was absolutely outrageous!! Nearly $200.00 for chicken soup, schnitzel, a roll of sushi, tea, and cocktail... I am just appalled at the way this restaurant runs their business, such a disgrace!!!
google avatar

Jenn K.

Yelp
My brother in law told me about this restaurant, it was superb!! Even for Passover every dish was delicious, service was impeccable. Highly recommend!!

Or B.

Yelp
Horrible!!!! Save your time and money .. it was so loud didn't feel like a restaurant felt like a food court. Food was ok it took time till we got our food we needed to keep asking where is the rest of our food . So much attitude from the hostess.. our server was really nice he was running around and doing his job great . Sadly we'll never come again it was a disappointment.
google avatar

Joe Victor B.

Yelp
They should improve their telephone etiquette .. It seems to speak with a telegraphic service and the guy answering the phone should learn at least to say bye before closing in your face twice!!! Hopefully when I will be able to have time on the phone to speak with them I will be able to reserve a table and tell everybody if the good and service inside the restaurant is better the the phone availability and courtesy !!!!

Yelp
This is a nice, classy place overall. I had dinner with a large group here recently and everybody seemed to enjoy the experience. You can park on the street out front or in a lot behind a shopping center just across the street, which is metered, but has more spaces available. The restaurant is on the small side but we had enough room. The atmosphere was great! Very sophisticated and intimate; it was somewhat noisy between the music from the bar and every table's conversations, but not unreasonable. The food was very good. I ordered the chicken noodle soup as an appetizer (it was decent), and the 16 oz. prime boneless rib eye steak (delicious) with a side of fries and steamed vegetables. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake which was equally as good. I would rate this restaurant five stars, but knocked one off because of the mediocre service. While the waitstaff was friendly, they were very inattentive and it look a long time to have each course served. I think we waited 45 minutes from ordering our entrees to receiving them and at least 25 minutes before we got our desserts. The waitress that had taken our orders at first seemed to forget about us, only checking if we needed anything once or twice, and we basically had multiple people coming by. It was very busy so I'm thinking they were overwhelmed, but still. That said: I had never been here before our group dinner and generally we all had a great time. Check it out!

Yelp
First thins first.... The place is really nicely decorated, upscale, elegant and it makes you feel fancy. Service was good, the waiter was very friendly, fast and knowledgable. Now the important stuff... food... and price: First of all, this is a glatt kosher meat restaurant, this automatically raises the price by more than a few notches. Then again, this is a glatt kosher meat restaurant, this means the steak is either going to be EXCELLENT or is going to be as bad as chewing salty rubber. Kosh is in the excellent category. I ordered a "reserve" steak which is kind of the center part of the filet mignon (as explained by the waiter). I got in my plate a large (by kosher standards, it was very large) steak which was tender and juicy. Unfortunately it is so lean, that it didn't have a bit more flavor like a skirt steak but it was still good. Came together with some potatoes and a veggie mix - all good. My wife had 2 appetizers, 4 sliders which were really good and some "vaca frita" tapas. A bit too lemon-ish for my taste but they were kind of original... good to see in a glatt kosher place. Now, 1 entree, 2 appetizers and a glass of wine with $105 was a bit steep, but for a glatt kosher steak house is what I was expecting to pay. Regardless, for the price, they could have offered some fancy bread and a creative parve garlic margarine or something but they didn't. I will go back probably, to try a few more items but I'll stick to some of my other favorite glatt kosher steakhouses for a while.

Yelp
My wife and I ate at this restaurant last night. We had eaten here originally when It opened two years ago and thought it was pretty good. Last night was excellent. Not only was it the best service we've had in any of the kosher restaurants in Bal harbour, but the food was phenomenal. My wife had the chicken with capers and I had the ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly. We had started with some sushi rolls that were great and this plantain with shredded beef appetizer. Dessert we had The molten lava chocolate cake.

Yelp
I never usually write reviews, but I took my Gram here for her 88th bday with the fam. Everything was fantastic from the service, to the sushi, to the wine list, to the decor. I ordered the Tuna Tar Tar which was easily one of the best I've ever had. My sis ordered a special roll of Tuna wrapped in cucumber which was ah-may-zing, mom got some roll and salad that were both bomb, gram got wild rice with lamb. She loved it. Uncle Mickey got steak and he loved it. We all shared the sweet potato fries which weren't the best ever but like they were good. I definitely recommend this place for any Glatt Kosher family! Thanks Kosh!

Albert H.

Yelp
Everyone should be aware of this restaurant. I am not one to write a view or talk back about another Jew but the way they run their business is disgusting. I'll keep this short and sweet. 1st time I ate here I had to send my steak back because it was dry and it tasted like it was previously frozen. 2nd steak was the same situation so I just left it. I spoke to the manager and he said "this is what it is".. thanks 2nd time I booked a Friday night meal for about $250 for 2 people. I booked this reservation on Thursday and I called on Friday to cancel and they never picked up the phone. I did leave a voice mail and after Shabbat, I realized that they did, in fact, charge me. They told me they don't accept cancelations and I was informed not this information. LIE. I told them they did not tell me the cancelation policy and they said they have a sign on their door. So I took the time out of my vacation to go down to the restaurant and they didn't have it up. I spoke to the manager and he said "oh we take it down on Saturday and Sundays" LIE. I can keep going on but its just a disgusting way to run a business. Loyalty to a customer should be #1 and the owner of this establishment doesn't seem to care. He just wants to make a quick buck.

Yelp
Very good steak house for kosher food, love the place and the setting, great variety and choice of food
google avatar

Haviva H.

Yelp
Food here was decent. But after visiting some other kosher restaurants in the area and being completely snubbed and ignored, I have to say that the service was great. We were seated immediately even though the place was pretty full and the waitress was super attentive. Our water glasses were always full and our orders were taken in a timely fashion. It was much appreciated. I will likely not return to the area to eat out but if I do, this is probably the only place I will go to.
google avatar

Shannon P.

Yelp
Food was just ok. When I needed something, I had to ask twice since it didn't come even thought it didn't seem busy. Started to be wondered who I would have to give the tip to. No good service because they already charged tips I guess. Also I received the check even before I finished my meal and didn't ask. Restaurants in Miami is like this? .. not really enjoyed.

Yelp
Great joint! A must try! They are quick and efficient and food is tasteful. Been to Miami a bunch of times and all my experiences here have been positive.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food , service not that great .. I recommend it if you go to places only for the food and not the service. Didn't leave any tips although it was already included ..

Yelp
Quite frankly the only things that were half decent was the décor and service, ( even though I found the lighting a bit on the bright side), everything else was par to sub par. I ordered the carpaccio and I wasn't overly impressed. Some flavours were a bit over powering, and I found that in general the flavours were not playing off one another in the congruent fashion that I would have liked to see. Furthermore, I ordered a steak which I found to be nothing special. My final thoughts are that if your looking for a restaurant that you will be getting your true money's worth this might not be the place for you.
