After reading one of my friend's amazing Yelp review on Kosher Chinglish, I just had to check them out! I've eaten kosher before from a different restaurant and love how they offer a healthy menu for chicken, beef, and veggies. They don't serve pork, seafood, and dairy. This restaurant is located at Boca Park on the corner of Charleston and Merialdo Lane. They're right across from Office Depot, next to Chinglish Cantonese Wine Bar, and there's plenty of parking.
Kosher Chinglish provides more high quality ingredients for Chinese and Cantonese food, and the price is slightly higher. The restaurant is small and casual. There's a few tables seatings, and they do offer some outdoor seatings as well. Menu is easily accessible and can be viewed by scanning the QR Code.
Everything I've tried was delicious! The Chicken Lettuce Wrap ($15) has stir fried minced chicken with enoki mushroom and jicama tossed in hoisin sauce, and it's served with fresh butter lettuce. It's very good and the meat is super flavorful! The butter lettuce wrap is nice and soft, it was easy to fold the meat inside and fully enjoy it. The Fried Green Beans ($9) is a great snack. It's a healthier alternative to French Fries. The green beans are lightly battered and fried crispy and airy. It's like a green bean tempura and so tasty! I had three dipping sauce, there was a dip for dumpling, sweet & sour, and the one sauce that taste best with fried green beans is hot chili paste, yum!
For my entree, I enjoyed the Eggplant with Sliced Chicken ($19) which was so good! Abdel recommended this dish to me and I'm very happy with this item. The eggplant and chicken are wok-fried in a sweet and savory sauce, and it's served with steamed rice. Chicken is moist and tender, and the eggplant is perfectly cooked. Sauce has good flavor, it's mild and not too spicy. For dessert, they have Chocolate Cake but I chose Mango Coconut Tapioca ($9) which is vegan and gluten-free. The tapioca pearls are made from the cassava root and they use coconut cream. It's prepared like a parfait with sweet riped mango and passion fruit served over coconut tapioca pudding, and it's so yummy! This dessert is an absolute treat, it's not too sweet and gratifying, I end up ordering another one to-go!
Service was exceptional and pleasant! Abdel did a marvelous job, he was welcoming, friendly and courteous, attentive, polite, helpful and efficient. He gave excellent recommendations, and I'm really pleased with how the food turned out. I'm happy I got to enjoy another great place that offers kosher and will certainly be returning to try more!
